  1. Calmin Ayion

    Kashyyyk

Calmin continued to move up and away, using what speed he could muster, along with the aid of the weakening Force. It was a difficult trek going up and away, with the other Miraluka trying to cloud his mind, as he could easily feel her attempts, along with the warning of stun blasts coming from behind him. Escape was never his intention, but rather, to put the Jedi into a position of feeling bad for her own choices she would make. It had become difficult, but there was now a chance to make her regret such a thing. Knowing that his own height up in the trees and the many branches below would be enough to do the deed, Calmin jumped INTO an oncoming blast, allowing for it to stun him. Even as it neared him, he knew that he would not survive the fall, and the Jedi had already turned her back. By now, his own range was too far away for her friends to help catch him from his fall, and any more time directed towards him would result in the death of the city above. Bam, the blast hit, and the Miraluka began to fall quickly down. By this point, he was well above 500 feet up from the ground. As his body fell, it smacked and cracked against many branches until he final thud as he hit the floor. In the end, four broken ribs, seven vertebras shattered, his spine completely snapped in two, and his own head suffered a concussion and internal bleeding. Upon impact of the floor, it would take fifteen minutes before he was gone...

Calmin kept his glaring sneer upon the Jedi as she now challenged him openly. He was a bit surprised at her lack of response to the holocron, however misjudged it may be. Her words echoed her anger that was rising with each thought that as far as he could tell, upon the Jedi Grandmaster. Her words meant nothing to him, as he knew that true power, what truly set a person on the path of power, was understanding of all sides. He knew where he was weak, he knew where he was strong, and he most certainly knew when he was outmatched. In knowing such things, he was stronger then she was. He put his lightwhip away, which may have turned into a mistake, as the ryyk blade she held went flying suddenly at him. He drew his blaster, and turned himself sideways. Although, not fully, as there was a tingle that ran down his spine, one that he recognized as danger from those who wield the Force, and instead used his free hand to grab that blade. As he did, he used his turning momentum to swing the blade into the tree upon which they both stood and used it as an anchor against the strong wind the female Jedi had summoned against him. The leafs that swirled were nothing moe then an annoyance to him, as he was blind and couldn't see. Once it all settled, his own grip released the blade's handle. "...Very poor choice of tactics..." With that, Calmin threw the blaster at her with a great force that he could muster without using the Force. Almost simultaneously, he turned and pressed a button on his wrist, having the base of the great trees that held Rwookrrormro up had explosives detonate, starting the send the city into a very slow and steady free fall towards the surface below. Only after the explosion did the Miraluka use the Force, allowing for it to speed him up as he ran away, presenting the Jedi with a few choices... Give chase and let the city die. Shoot him in the back, giving in to her Dark Side nature. Or to let him go and allow for him to have a minor victory. Either way, Calmin would win in some way.

Calmin was beginning to think that the Jedi who had come were not as up to the challenge as he had hoped, but then he was shaken up by the Force. It took him a good few seconds to catch himself from falling off after the initial blast, and as he turned around to see the one who was living up to the challenge, the human female, was addressing him. Her voice held a slightly tremble in it, as she was clearly fighting against her own resolve by this moment, or she was trying to show him strength. Either way, the meaning was lost on him. Letting his lightwhip activate, he also pulled out the Holocron and held it in his left hand with a firm grip. He also decided to sport a smile that would hint he found humor in the situation. "All this trouble for this thing? You put a big gamble into retrieving such a tiny thing over the fate of Kashyyyk..." With a flick of his wrist, the whip lashed out towards her. The goal was not to harm her... yet. But to keep her back enough so that such a feat of making an attempt to grab it from him would be highly discouraged for the moment. As he did, he made his own voice louder as he spoke. "... What? You didn't think I would put all my chips into a single engagement with a Jedi Master? This trap did not have you in mind, but Kirlocca. Surely even by now you can start to sense it... Rwookrrorro...and it's doom..." Calmin's smiled turned into a sneer as he was now sure that the Jedi could sense he was leading her further away from the city, as it was also wired to explode. "But by all means, if the holocron is all you want..." Now the trap was been fully sprung. Calmin threw himself towards Jaina while simultaneously tossing the holocron away from the direction he leapt and drew his blaster. Landing upon the same branch, he flung the whip towards her as he fired off some wild shoots, not really trying to kill her, as grief in the end will kill her upon realizing how little she really could affect the outcome. Chaos was the goal, and Kashyyyk was the victim of his efforts. The Jedi were but bystanders in this situation.

Calvin watched as the three made their attempts at the rescue, which was a small way to save everyone. It made him laugh loudly after the older female Miraluka made the attempt to reason and lure him away from what she could only assume was the main goal. Slowly he put the holocron behind his back and attached it to his belt, he did so with a swift motion to also draw out his lightwhip. As he did so, he spoke. "You can keep your perverted tongue silent old schutta. I care not about your useless Force or the brokenness of our species. I'm in no position to be swayed away from what I have come to know." With his final word spoken, he made a quick flick with his wrist, letting his lightwhip activate and swing towards the female Miraluka on the branch with him. The motion would cause for a quick two strike of the whip, although he knew that such blows would not land, but rather only drive her back a few steps away from him, which was all that he wanted. At the exact same time, he also pushed the button on the trigger device that he held, cause for the Star Map to explode, and six chargers hidden around other branches to explode, one of which was also the branch that he was on. But since he knew this, he leapt backwards and up. As soon as he landed on another branch, he quickly began to make his climb upwards and away from the three towards his own getaway spot, leaving them to the falling trees and the wild life being stirred into a frenzy with the explosions.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA.... Well isn't this all so very poetic. A Tree, a Blind Woman, and a misfit seek something to which they don't understand. Maybe I can make things much more interesting." Jumping down from one tree branch to another, Calmin Ayion stepped out of the shadows, displaying a wild snarl on his smile. His eyes were left uncovered, and his brown hair seemed far darker in the dark light that filled the shadowlands. He stood upon his branch, which was about thirty five feet up above the trio. "Let's play a game! I like to call this one... How fast can we break the galaxy?! To my right, Graanta's son! Hanging by a thread! He could fall at any moment! To my left, Senator Truwkiwn's son, also hanging by a thread! Same fate awaits him as well. Below, the ancient star map, set to blowup, sending the entire shadowland floor into chaos! Above, a sonic wave emitter, powerful enough to summon two nearby Terentateks! And finally, we have me! Holding the holocron that you came all this way to retrieve!! All set to go off around the same time... It's unfortunate that disaster will strike Kashyyyk only after the Jedi arrive... Make you pick carefully Jedi... You have fifteen seconds..." As Calmin revealed the threats with words, they also became revealed in flesh. Both Wookiee kids were about thirty feet away from Calmin, a combined sixty feet away from each other. The sonic emitter was now about twenty feet above Calmin. The wild and crazed Force user had set the perfect trap for the Jedi Grandmaster, only to have the band of misfits show up. It was a shame that the great Wookiee wouldn't be present for the downfall of Kashyyyk, but at the very least he could still ruin the image of the Jedi Order to the rest of the galaxy...To think that I can kill three senators on Coruscant and no one blinks and eye. Let's see if a planet wide mess caused by the Jedi can do better.
  6. Calmin sat behind his desk and stared at some of the more recent movements on the Holonet. The reports made his blood boil with anger, as he had thought that the bounty would have driven the majority of Force users further into a hole, rather then draw them more out. With these reports coming out, he stood up and began to pace around is office with some frustration echoing off. There was a buzz at the door and almost immediately one of his subordinates walked in and gave a quick bow. The very fact that he walked in without getting approval made Calmin even more angrier than what he already was, so he pulled out his IR-5 Blaster Pistol and blasted the man on his right foot. "DON'T EVER ENTER WITHOUT GETTING PERMISSION!!" The man held in a yelp of pain as he tried to not show weakness in front of the wild and chaotic man. After a second or two passed, he swallowed enough of his pain to speak. "My lord, I am sorry. But... But I have news that you will want to hear... Black Sun... they've bought the Golden Link Casino..." Rage over took him, reaching out his own right arm, he used the cursed Force to drag the man's throat into his hand. Upon both parts reaching each other, Calmin squeezed the mans neck as hard as he could. "I DID NOT ASK FOR YOU TO SPEAK!" Calmin held the man's gaze within his own eyes, which were not as present due to him being a Miraluka. He held his position until he heard every bone break and every last breath of air leave the mans body. Once he became lifeless, Calmin let go, allowing for the man's body to slam hard into the floor. "JATHRRRO!" Almost immediately a large black furred Wookiee stepped around the corner and waited for orders. "Remove this corpse from my office. Then prepare my ship. I have a need to go to Coruscant..." Within the hour, Calmin and Jathrrro boarded his ship and left for Coruscant to deal with business.
  7. ((A crucial double post.)) Calmin Ayion had a short time to think about who he could push the margin faster than what he just did a few days ago. It seemed to him that his mess he was making was indeed getting things that he wanted done, but there was no real way to keep things going without first conquering the location that he first discovered the crystals. With that in mind, he would need to make the three he had last long enough until he could get his hands on such a supply. The five he first collected where fine to test against the weak-minded Mandalorians on Haruun Kal. And then the Bothans on Bothawui. But such a larger scale would need his meditation chamber to be completed with a good supply. So Calmin landed his ship in his personal hangar bay and made his way to the office, the place of which he would make his final push to help him collected the final pieces.
  8. Calmin Ayion sat within the main deck on the Supremacy, no longer within meditation as he was just before. Before him sat a single crystal, which glow was now beginning to dissipate as the Miraluka had used up much of it's natural ability. It was a technique he had spent some time trying to uncover, and it was buried deep within records of the Sith and the Jedi. He mused over how effective the technique was considering how much time had been placed over it. His ship was now enroute to the Outer Heaven, his own personal fortress that he had built up with scum and villainy. It was also going to be the main place he would host his machine upon building it, which the room was under construction now. All he really had to do was wait upon the arrival of more Crystals so that he could launch his next phase. Soon he would be abel to do that which he had long wished for. Destroy the Force.
  9. Calmin exited hyperspace, but never held the intention of staying. He quickly submitted a work order to the droids upon the station to start working to make some changes to the layout, as well as to begin to shuffle the credits around to protect his own for the upcoming large investment. The work order had on it; Changes on layout of the main offices to protect them, and changes to the engines and other parts to make them far more difficult to get to. Within a matter of a few weeks, the station would become a bit more to his liking. But it was all a part of his now grand scheme: The become the one cog that the galaxy couldn't remove. Once the order was sent and a confirmation was received upon arrival, Calmin turned his ship around and blasted back into hyperspace.
  10. Calmin didn't much enjoy be stranded for days, as it took him nearly months to get his ship, the Supremacy out of the trees. But by the time he did, he had come full circle to hate the blasted Force for the very curse it had placed upon him. So without wasting time, the Miraluka got his ship ready and blasted off the slimy mud hole towards the credit pit of the Outer Heaven, the space station that he had come to own. He would now spend his life making credits for the sole purpose of becoming the most powerful man in the galaxy.
  11. Calmin felt like he had been in his struggle for days, months even before the vines of the tress released him. Even now that he was still and on his knees, he felt like he had to be patient and wait upon the Force to give him back his strength. But that was once again the problem. He was dependent upon the Force for everything, and he hated it. But now what was worse, he was stuck on some planet with his own ship stuck within the trees. Still upon his knees, he closed his mind off for a moment, attempting to shut the Force out or to have a solution come to his mind on what he should do next.
  12. Calmin suddenly became aware of movement, although not through his eye sight within the Force, but rather noise. The noise from the trees coming to life, and a mix of the ground trembling, either as part of the attack, or out of fear that it may too become a target of the wrath of nature. Remaining as calm as he was when he first encountered the presence on Vjun, Calmin withdrew his blaster, the only weapon he had on himself, and lifted it in immediate defense against the vines that began to whip out towards him. Without hesitation, he fired off shot after shot trying to keep the vines from the trees at bay. But even the Miraluka knew that his defense was in vain, as from what he could see through his eyes in the Force was that there was no real way to stop or harm the trees, but Calmin kept firing away. Amongst the attacks from the trees, he suddenly heard a loud bang, and less than a second later, Calmin dropped his blaster in pain as a vine managed to break his defense and strike at his hand. However, not wanting to admit defeat so yet, he lifted his hands and began to use the Force to push away the vines and every now and then using a little blast upon the trees themselves. It was his only defense left, seeing as he lost his blaster and his training within the Force was very limited. He would only hold out for so long before the trees overtook him.
  13. The datapad suddenly beeped at Calmin, forcing him to respond to it as the wildlife around him slowly became disturbed by the sound it created. As the Miraluka withdrew it, he took notice of where it was leading him and where he was according to the map. Carefully, he began to make his way in that direction. Although he had been on the planet before, he had never seen it outside of the Sith fortress on the other side of the planet, and this part seemed to be crawling with wildlife, both that could kill him and those that couldn't. As he approached the end of his destination, all he could see was a large body of water, perhaps maybe a swamp of some kind. Feeling defeated that the datapad lead him nowhere, he dropped his shoulders. With a sigh, he re-looked at it in hopes that he was wrong on the location, but no answer could be found. "Great, I'm still stuck here."
  14. Calmin stared out the viewport from the cockpit of the Supremacy down towards the planet below. From the scanners he could see that the air was breathable, it crawled with life, but the technology was limited to a few places, perhaps a settler or two. As the Miraluka read on, he could see that this planet was no place where you would bring a first date. With a smile, he got a sense that the being perhaps tricked him. Even if it did, the Force is still present below. There is still something for me to gain from this. Turning his attention back to piloting, he began to bring the Supremacy down towards the atmosphere. As he did, he began to feel something stir within the Force, but Calmin couldn't explain what exactly it was that he was feeling. As his ship began to pass through, he began to realize that the planet very well still could end up being his death, as upon entering the atmosphere left his scanners blind. Luckily, he still had the Force to work with, but he wasn't sure how much help that would be in understanding where trees and other important life threatening things could be. While his vision was based through the Force, it couldn't provide a full accurate vision. It was for that reason alone that he had to rely upon anything that he could to bring his ship down safely without destroying it within one landing attempt. As he fought for some control to bring his ship to a slow landing, he suddenly felt the ship lash back at him, almost as if it was too late to maneuver. It was shortly after that that he realized that his ship had stopped movement all together. He had crashed it somehow without destroying it, landing on a tilt between three trees. Sitting back in his pilots chair, he let out a sigh of both relief and confusion. Allowing for a few moments to pass before he could come to the conclusion that he was now indeed trapped within the trees of this strange planet. "Huh... This sucks." Trying to make the best of the situation he was in, he turned off the engines of the Supremacy, along with other important systems, he then moved to grab his blaster to protect himself from what dangers the planet may offer up to him. Not like he was sure why he felt a need to explore his surroundings, maybe out of having nothing better to do now, he walked towards the ramp and lowered it. It paused for a moment as it had to push against a branch or two that sat in its way, but it did lower just enough for him to climb out. As his feet hit the ground, the very wet ground, he took a moment to look around at what the planet had to offer him. As he did he spoke out loud his thoughts. "Fierfek. I'm in big trouble."

Had Calmin had eyes to be seen, he might have made a face that seemed to reflect amusement at the very conversation just had. But since his answer must have brought up some sort of apathetic approach within this beings mind, the Miraluka very well could have been handed a task that would end with his own death. Taking the datapad, he turned around and began to make his own way for his ship, The Supremacy, where he then made quick travel to his next destination.
