He spent years working in the weapons field, supporting a modest lifestyle on that salary and modifying ships after hours for those that could pay and saving that money to acquire a starship of his own. After acquiring a starship in an auction of vehicles seized from captured slavers, Arracorr nearly gave into his wanderlust but decided to fully check out his newly acquired ship before leaving the planet. He found the ship full of oddities and it several more months to fully clear the ship for flight. His first step after leaving the Kashyyk was the Corellian system where Coresec confiscated his ship due to its former owner being wanted for several murders on planet. Arracor used the remainder of his savings to pick up another ship whose transponder indicated it had once belonged to a Darth Pravus. Over the next twenty years, he built up the reputation of Darth Pravus as a straightforward cargo freighter operator with a reputation for delivery, regardless of problems arising enroute. He eventually traded the Corellian registered freighter for a small, fast ship capable of long distance flights to specialize in small, discrete packages of high value. Fees ranged from modest for small, legal packages to extreme for medium size, dubiously legal packages. The only restriction he placed on the packages concerned whom he transported. Individuals held against the will, slaves, or restrained sentients went elsewhere or faced Arracorr's significant wrath. His last run as a courier involved a package he did not inspect before loading on his ship on Nar Shadaa, despite the extremely high fee making him highly suspcicious. During a stopover on the planet of Thalassia before entering Jedi influenced space, he got a twitch about the cargo he could not ignore. He decided to inspect the cargo and found, much to his displeasure that not asking questions had just proven to be his undoing. He took the captive directly to the nearest Jedi outpost on Altyr V and found himself waiting on a Jedi Master whom asked him if he knew he was Force Sensitive. Arrraccor took but a moment to consider, then took up residence nearby, awaiting to be assigned to the first available Knight or Master to train him.
  3. At the beginning of the evening edition of the news service know as the All Galaxy Evening News Torrent, AGENT for short, the two co-anchors outline the coming broadcast's main topics using three short videos. <1st video>A brief blurb about the makers of Huyewate Ale, whose legendary and addicting brew are outlawed on most core worlds announce a new version that while tasting similar to the old one, has had the chemical cocktail that produced the old effects removed. <2nd video>New archeological findings on the planets Siao III, IV, and on a moon of Siao VI. In this system currently colonized by Triani settlers, these discoveries point to a time when the planets hosted a battle between Sith and Jedi. Numerous ruins whose form and function have yet to be determined are currently being excavated, with researchers promising to release their findings as soon as they can be properly documented. <3rd video>Last is the death of a rogue Force User known as Tanimus Sultstrum, killed during a battle involving the rogue force user, two apprentices and several servants opposed by 4 different mercenary teams. The mercenary teams report casualty rates in the 90% for the battle. Details remain sketchy. At the first commercial, Ken and Jill Marich, the co-anchors, promise far greater detail amid other stories throughout the broadcast.
  4. When his small ship arrived at the Hoth system, Pravus found the force through his anger and a focus at the computer that was running his craft. The agony was excruciating. Just outside his consciousness he heard outright laughter. "Now now little apprentice, our lessons have only just begun," was the taunting he heard, just before another rush of incredible pain swept him into senselessness. When he awoke, he was in a hangar carved out of bedrock. The room was small, dark and unlit. His fighter was still sealed and beyond his ability to exit. Pravus sniffed the air delicately and realized the stench he was exuding. He swore. The reek, combined with his burned flesh was nauseating. Nothing happened for days. Pravus fumed, slowly losing what sanity remained to him.

    Ilum

Pravus entered the Ilum system according to the directions he had received from the small droid his ship had taken aboard at the ruins of Helix Station. The long deceased Sith Master who was leading him around had instructed him to go to Ilum. He wandered if the master had forseen what had happened to the planet. He received his reply when a small holographic image projected on the small ship's HUD of the still hooded master. "Among the ruins of this planet, apprentice, you will find crystal which a Jedi could attune to make their lightsabers. Your ship will locate some for you and tractor it in." To Pravus's rage, the ship did exactly as the master had said it would. It moved insystem, and using a low powered tractor beam, began collecting some fairly large specimens of Ilum's crystals. Pravus felt his rage grow at his own helplessness. As he watched helplessly, a ship dropped from hyperspace above the systems ecliptic and swoop towards the ruins of the system. He recognized the ship as a smaller form of the one that had begun rebuilding the former Helix station. The ship began harvesting materials from the ruins of the planet, but instead of building a station began expanding the factory ship and reconfiguring it. Pravus watched, wondering why the factory was gulping materials and assembling pieces at a pace that was probably at the extreme edge of droid programming when he felt his ship moving at its own will towards the edge of the system. Rage blossomed again as he felt the ship's hyperdrive activate and send him flying into the void.
  6. On a silent, unknown planet, once dominated by a Dark Lord of the Sith, an apprentice with no name, no rank, and no master sits in the cockpit of a fighter whose lean outline and general shape mark it as a Sith predator. As he studies the controls, a timre activates on a console in the control room. It reads, "Unauthorized access, final solution commencing in 10..." On a silent, unknown planet named Ishvarra, an energy blossom is recorded as far away as Coruscant. Eventually, independent scouts, desperate for a few credits follow up on the reports and see out the source of that explosion, thinking that they might find some new proto-star, or age massive super-weapon left over from Palpatine's empire. They go away puzzled, finding nothing but the burnt out cinder of the planet Ishvarra, a ruined sphere slowly flying apart from the disruption of its core.
  7. ((ooc)) Okay, still have not heard anying ((end)) ((ic)) While the tomb of the ancient Sith Lord had been a complete disappointment in its lack of artifacts, the structure did provide ample space for the beginning of what Pravus was viewing as the complete restructuring of the planet, its population, and its society. After setting the female members of his entourage to cleaning the place, he set the male members the task of clearing some rubble away from the back of the tomb that he had noticed during his tour. Before joining them in clearing the rubble, Pravus attempted to contact his master through his comlink again. When nothing happened, he widened its range to include both civilian and military frequencies for the empire and received a weak but definite reply to his hailing. A bargaining session ensued in which Pravus and Captain Endora basically laid out their positions and reached a mutual agreement. The ease at which they made the bargain made Pravus glad that his master had given him the advice of not acting belligerently towards others. It made for dealing with non-Sith much easier than had he used more traditional techniques. While he waited for the return of the Endora, he began helping to clean out the ancient tomb. Working alongside his erstwhile subjects, he began to get a feel for the abilities and charisma of each of them even while establishing himself as both a bridge between the separated sexes and as an authority figure. It was difficult work, especially since Pravus was an outsider in many ways to the adolescents but eventually the work was rewarding. One of the females was removing dust from an antechamber when she tripped a hidden catch and a section of wall near the males swung open noiselessly. Pravus examined the cavern beyond and ordered all but two of his charges to resume their work while the three of them went deeper into the tomb of this ancient Sith Lord. Pravus kept a tight reign on his emotions and proceeded with a great deal of caution. His own master had told him apocryphal tales of how Sith Masters would trap their own tombs, ensuring that any invaders would pay a heavy price for any intrusion. The massive ramp the trio was descending was wide enough to accommodate and AT-AT. Made of a luminescent native stone, it was polished to a rough finish and carved on one side with what Pravus recognized as being a Sith Alphabet. He ignored the other side until the female native said something to herself. Pravus turned to see the girl regarding the other side of the walkway with a strange look upon her face that he had to take a moment to understand. She was examining one symbol, tracing it with her finger and making a ”œBwa”
  8. Dagon's departure rocked Pravus to the core. Gone was his master's dark presence, leaving behind a strange emptiness that combined with his massive disappointment at the condition of the tomb he had located with a great deal of effort ignited a darkness in his soul from which came the birth of a disaster. He took his speeder deep into the most remote section of the planet and located a tribe considered primitive even by the natives of the planet. Even with his rudimentary force abilities, he was able to gain control of the tribe from the shadows, but not to rule. Using the alien's example, Pravus controlled the tribe by co-opting the tribal leaders by concluding an arrangement that was beneficial to both parties. The result was that the chief's pretended to sacrifice several matched pairs of their own tribesman in return for some pretty baubles and to continue the practice once every seven years until the current leaders died. According to their agreement, the tribes people that were sacrificed were under the age of adulthood by the tribes standards. When they awoke at the lair Pravus had constructed, the sacrifices probably wished they had been. For unrestrained by his Master's presence, Pravus had accessed technological and alchemical secrets and began the process to transform his captives according to his darkest desires.
  9. (ooc (No one else has posted in this thread for the last 4 days, so this is a legal double post.)) On the hill above the small hamlet, Pravus sat quietly reading through the intelligence data generated by his activities. As it turned out, one of the technicians was an amateur archeologist whom noted several unusual ruins nearby that the cult members occasionally used for meetings. Pravus, with everything secure, decided to visit the site to see if he could discover anything useful that might not be included within either the governments records or be obtained through the various double agents that the occupation government had established throughout the area. The trip there took but a few hours. Once there, Pravus was forced to wade through a series of walls broken during the initial invasion. According to the government data files, the castle had been the site of a minor rebellion by poorly armed radical elements of the local inhabitants. It was in the keep, the castle's last bastion against foes of equal capability that he came across a marvelous find. Behind a well concealed secret wall, he found a trophy room suprisingly intact, and by the three inches of dust and cobwebs everywhere, untouched by anyone for quite some time. He decided that the trove would be fitting tribute for his master, but decided that for discovering it he would keep one small item for himself. A quick search of the room located an equisite set of armor, clearly beyond the capabilities of the natives to manufacture. When he touched the armor, an electric feeling surged up his armor. As he donned it, he saw a mark that he decided to inspect. It turned out to be the mark of a Sith Lord whom had perished during one of the many rebellions against the Jedi.
  10. Once Pravus was sure that his attempt to infiltrate the alien occupation's headquarter was successful, he direct the take be sent directly to the technicians on board his master's ship. He waited in a secure location for any word from his master, but when nothing was forthcoming he sent a message to him detailing his next move. Pravus then set out to return to the cottage where he had observed his first targets. Something was calling him back there and he decided to head that instinct. Once there, Pravus found a new location from which to observe the cottage and its surrounding village, sure that some inspiration or event would occur shortly that would clue him as to what was so important about this place. ((ooc)) Dagon, I wil continue unless you have other orders for me.
  11. Safely ensconced in his hiding place, Pravus took a moment to deal with the exhaustion that he had been holding at bay for days. Before he allowed the weakness of sleep to overcome him, Pravus made sure the instruments on his armor were recording the events of the house. He then stole softly into slumber. He awoke to the call of something snarling and explosive in his mind. Instantly awake, he began searching for what had awakened him. When no threat in the immediate vicinity emerged, Pravus looked at the display monitor on his wrist. He was glad he had awakened when he did. The surveillance devices he had planted in the room with the young women (Target 2) were paying dividends beyond his expectations. Unlike the last time he had looked in on them, she was sitting up and talking to her mother (Target 2). The result, while rapid for normal healing, he considered normal for someone wielding the force, even in the crude method utilized by Target 1. It was whom they were talking with that made him sit up and take notice. The watery blue outlines of a hologram of one of the planet's occupiers conversing with the two women that Pravus took an immediate interest in. In the intelligence package he had read through before leaving his master's ship, Pravus had learned the rank badges of the occupying host. He immediately labeled the hologram Target 3. Target 3's rank tabs indicated he was second in the order of responsibility for the invading alien's occupation forces. Both women were avidly listening as he reported to them on the events his government would be responding too. Pravus theorized that though the cults and various rebel groups were quite small and ineffective, they were being used by the occupational forces as Cathar paws against rivals and to justify the careers of more than one official and that these women had found a way to exploit that for their own ends. Pravus knew that both women now shared a common goal for their people and were pursuing the power to bring that goal to a reality. He marked them for continued surveillance and then turned to the data being revealed by the computer tap he had set in place. Worms sent via the tap to the computer's on both ends of the connection were downloading hordes of data relevant to his mission. As he sifted through it, a pattern began to emerged similar to the one his surveillance equipment was even now recording. Early in the occupation, powerful individuals from the old feudal society and those identified as possible leaders of any resistance had been given a direct role in the occupation and as a result, a sort of stability had been established with a minimum of violence. Both the religious fanatics and various rebel cells were maintained to provide outlets for any aggression or backlash and, as Pravus had theorized, convince the citizens of the occupying force's home front that their continued existence was necessary. Pravus set his wrist computer to constantly forward the information being downloaded to his master's intelligence experts, then sat back to review the generated information to better examine whether or not his mission was complete or if he should continue. Hours passed as Pravus reviewed the available data and meditated on what his next step should be. With the occupation and native government's essentially one entity, Pravus instinctively knew the next step was to infiltrate the head quarter's facility his electronic surveillance had pinpointed, but he wanted to be sure that no loose ends remained that he should take care of first and that the risk inherent in doing so did not outweigh the potential gains. After examining the data, Pravus decided that the loose ends remaining were better taken care of by other individuals whose specialties they fell under. It left him to answer the question of how he was going to enter a secure facility with his rudimentary force skills and the best surveillance technology offered by the Empire. The idea that came to him was just as instinctive as his initial idea to infiltrate the headquarters, so he sat down and began to review the equipment his master had available. When he found what he was looking for, Pravus grinned at how easy it would be should but one piece fall into place. He glanced at the surveillance images being generated from his monitoring from the house, and realized the force had delivered what he had needed. With a feral grin, he made his plans and set out for the rendezvous point that had been selected for his delivery.
  12. The oppurtunity to search the home came sooner than he though it would. Toward nightful, he watched the older women exit the home. The younger one, according to his surveillance equipment had been sedated earlier that day and was still sleeping the effects off. Rahalin crept into town under the cover of darkness and slipped into the dimly lit cottage. The first three rooms he searched were unremarkable, clearly belonging to an average citizen of this occupied room. It was in the fourth room, where the younger women still slumbered, that he found the electronic equipment that he had surmised would be here. After checking to insure that the daughter was firmly sleeping, he attached a data intercept module in an unobtrusive (sp) location and begin to sneek out of the room. As he opened the door, he felt something pass by him in the darkness. It radiated a palpable sense of otherworldliness. Whatever it was, it ignored him in favor of the young women sleeping motionless. Rahalin, knowing that something important was happening, paused long enough to leave additonal sensors hidden in the room. He left immediately, not out of fear, but out of prudence. His master had ordered him to remain covert. Once he had found a save location to hide in, he returned to monitoring the feeds coming in from the various surveillance device he had left planted in the small house. He payed particular attention to what was happening to the young women.
  13. Fatique was now a constant companion to Pravis. He could banish his weakness by drawing on his anger. He did so, reasoning that knowledge of this development would be just as important as the other. When he reached a save obsservation point, he stayed put, using the surveilance microphone attached to his armor to monitor the woman's coninued litany as she further tended to her daughter. A litany that went from angry to a chant moments later that Pravis literally felt charge the air arround him and more importantly, draw up the force. Curious, he crept forward until he could use a cornering mirror to see inside the window without being observed from a passerby or from inside the small, tidy cottage. Inside, he saw the older woman tending to the younger by using the power of the force. He usage, however was far from what he had expected. This woman had power to drain the life energy from a young man whom was gagged, bound and hanging upside down from the rafters of the home. Pravus watched as the daughter's wounds healed and the young man seemed to shrivel up and die. He rather admired the techniques use as an implement of torture, but thought the woman weak for healing a person not strong enough to look after herself. Instead of leaving, however, Pravus thought the cottage itself warranted a thorough search, preferably when the owners were not home.
  14. Dawn came quickly after Pravus' impromptu performance. It found him having returned to his previous hiding place to allow the natives to leave the clearing unaware of his continued presence. He knew his master would be pleased by the natives hatred of the aliens and pleased that he, Pravus, had helped fuel the cultists further descent. Again, he found himself growing angry over someone interupting his reveling in pain and suffering. This time, he realized it was the sound of someone weeping in the forest's shade. Pravus restrained his anger and focussed his attention on the former clearing that the Ishavarrans had restored before leaving shortly before dawn. In the midst of the area was the women whom Pravus had choked earlier. Silently, he cursed as he watched the woman caring for a still breathing daughter. She moved with the assuredness of modern technical training. The gear she was using on the girl was marked in the script of the invading aliens. "A collaborator," thought Pravus,'that is information my master needs to be aware of." Pravus watched as the young woman's wounds began to bind by what smell confirmed was distillated bacta. His surveillance gear picked up the words she was muttering to her daughter as she worked. "These cultists offer only pain and suffering to our people while those whom believe the aliens will free us when we have technology equal to them are equally foolish. There are other ways, my daughter, and its time you learned them." "Another cult or something else?" mused Pravus. "Either way, my master will want to know about it." Fiver hours later the woman left the clearing with Pravus following close behind. Somehow, he was not suprised when a glance at his datapad revealed she was heading directly for the second location he had taken. The slow pace she set because of her burden meant the journey lasted until the night.
  15. The ceremony unfolded through the remainder of the night, eventually reaching a fever pitch at which point the high priest had raised a ceremonial dagger and begun to plunge the weapon towards the female captives bared chest. Pravus, thoroughly enjoying so much hate and suffering, sensed a change in the atmosphere of the sacrifice moments before the astonished priest averted his dagger to avoid a female cultist whom had thrown herself over the victim. The future sith felt his eyes widen in pure astonishment. An astonishment that boiled into rage because of the noble showing. An image came unbidden to his mind of the native girl being thrown against a tree, tied up and slowly strangled. Simultaneously his vision turned red with the effort of containing his rage. Once the curtain of red lifted from his eyes, Pravus found that the girl was pinned against the bole of a large tree. stripped and flayed until she and the alien were little more than bleeding rag dolls. The worshipper's and priest were now dancing frenzidly between the true, celebrating the fact that both the native and alien sacrifice were turning blue, their throats constricted by what the natives were assuming was the power of their gods revealed. Pravus knew different. He could feel the pulses of the two females through the force, beating futilely against the grip constricting the passage of vital blood to the brain. Pravus reveled silently in the sight of their convulsions as their bodies sought to take a breath and the pain flowed from the numerous wounds of each caused by his command to the force. One woman, obviously the mother of the girl slumped against the base of tree's trunk actually questioned the purpose of what they had done this night. Pravus leaped, landing silently in the tree above the unconscious girl. In the darkness, all that was visible were the yellowed iris's of his eyes. He spoke in a sibilant whisper that nonetheless carried to the farthest edges of the circle while letting his anger give him the power to force-choke the deluded woman. "It is only the love of my lord that will ever deliver you from the sky demons. Know that he is pleased by these offerings, but I warn you, do not question him lest he withdraw that love." He stared at each of them in turn before turning and dissappearing in the shadows between two ancient boles.
