General News Alert

The Kaleesh peoples have now been officially united under one banner. After much infighting between the leading two factions, the Todda Tribe, led by War Chief Jchinges Han, have finally and completely crushed its enemies, and taken a new tribe name: The Kolkpravis, a tribal title that has not been known for many centuries. Many cultural scholars equalize this title with noble dynasties similar to the Naboo and the Mon Cal less democratic monarchies.

Jchinges Han, who claims to be the direct descendent of the diety Qymaen jai Sheelal, has been unanimously declared by all other surviving tribes to be ruler of the Kaleesh people as Khangan Han, leader of the Kolkpravis.  Promising to take Kalee into a new golden age, Jchinges Han claims to have secured deals with Bespin Governments as well as the surviving Alliance government after the battle of Nar Shaddaa to secure new factories that will help bring Kalee into a modern age. Evidence points this to be true, especially given Jchinges Han's youngest child's position.

However, rumors persist that several tribes and staunch traditionalists are secretly planning to get off world to prepare their own uprising against the newly formed Kolkpravis. Whether these rumors are true or not will take time to tell.

General News Alert

A schism among the Kaleesh has been noted. Following the vast liberal changes that Khangan Han has enacted, including the newest factories built thanks to the government of Cloud City, a small but fierce group known as the Jenuwaa Children have led open resistance, killing several unprotected off worlders and attempting to bomb the factories.

Recently, the Jenuwaa Children managed to get their hands on several transport ships on Kalee. With their own forces still weakened by recent events, the Kaleesh government was unable to capture or stop the Jenuwaa Children from escaping. Where they are now is unknown.

Khangan Han has declared the Jenuwaa children to be criminals and should be considered dangerous, even if they have no known starfighters in use. Khangan Han believes they will revert to the older ways after establishing a base of operations, and begin to declare war on ancient enemies, a very long and unfortunately broad list.

Raid on Huk! Sullest Merchants Injured!

Spoiler

wonder_1665460099770.jpg

Reports of a large Kaleesh raid on the Yam’rii homeworld has been noted throughout the galaxy. A few days ago, a single Kaleesh transport ship had arrived at Huk and landed, with several Kaleesh raiders emptying before the ship took off again to leave the system.

The raiders, who have been identified as members of the Jenuwaa Children, commenced with attacks on government and mercantile buildings. While Huk’s security was quickly dispatched to deal with the threat, almost all of the Kaleesh raiders were able to escape by commandeering a GS-100 salvage ship owned by Sullest businessmen. Several planetary employees were killed, and two Sullust merchants were harmed when their ship was captured.

Reports show that two kaleesh raiders did not escape. However, one of them had committed ritual suicide before being captured, and the other is held for interrogation. Rumors persist that the Yam’rii will turn the prisoner over to Alliance authorities for further interrogation, though other rumors state the Yam’rii will commence with torture before turning the prisoner over.

“These renegades,” said Kaleesh ruler Khangan Han, “are still citizens of Kalee and must answer to Kaleesh justice. While their crime is reprehensible and unpardonable in my eyes, they do not deserve to be tortured by the bugs of Huk. Hopefully under the civilized techniques of Alliance interrogation, we can get more information where the Jenuwaa Children are hiding and end this threat.”

With their own civillians injured, Sullest authorities have begun to apply pressure on the Alliance to deal with this problem, as well as posted several bounties on the Jenuwaa Children.
