The small ship that left from here now returned. After the small ship entered the atmosphere Damon felt the force vanish and the implant guided him to the base.

Once on the base he exited the ship to see Special Ops gathered as about to leave.

His landing had caught the attetion of most of the Ops memebers.

"Well Aryian it looks like I'm a little late once again. Nom and his student shall join us later. So what have I missed?"

Its a blast from the not so distant past.

Perhaps...

Dismay lent its shades of disappointment across the etched features upon Scorso's face, contours of stone dimming to decrepit inactivity. What is fate? Is it a strict master, a conductor within life's orchestra that drives its eternal pulse until the wand finally bows? Or was it an unforgiving mentor, guiding one with chiding beeps and annoying bombinations? No... fate was fluid. He was sure of it. Water... clear and pure, yet distorted by each and every ripple that flew across its surface. One action echoing outward, clarity continually shattered in its wake.

My hands. Worn hands. Tired hands. Guided hands. Break yourself from your guides, for they fail you now.

My hands crept the metallic curvature of the desk, their instruments discarded. Worn hands ached at reality's intervention. Tired hands crept toward the training saber. Guided hands broke their bounds, gripping the unwelcome coldness of the hilt. Coldness... the frigid cylinder was foreign. Far too foreign.

”œGet to your ship. Do it now. Everything else... forget about it. You're not ready.”

The Jedi Master Talon graciously returned Aryian's bow. The younger council member held great promise; he was both strong and wise- a combination that earned him a great deal of respect among both the young and old members of the order. He was what the Jedi needed.

With his chip, he again contacted his faithful droid, R2-Z2. ”œTime to go, Zee.”

((Opps. Thanks for the info Talon))

Damon spoke to nothingness what he thought was Aryian was simpyl his mind playing tricks on him. For the most part all were gone.

Looking around a Damon found computer that came to life soon as he neared it. The implant must be working he thought to himself as Damon looked up where the jedi may of gone to. A set of cordinates and a password were present to Damon. Before leaving though he looked up where he was going Illum.

"Interesting. First a place completly void of the force now a place where the force can be felt the strongest even more than Ossus. Interesting in deed."

With that Damon returned to his ship and then once again blasted off.

Its a blast from the not so distant past.

It was only several more minutes until Talon reached his Eta-2 Interceptor. Zee was already mounted in its droid socket, and the whole ship was pulsating with the vibrations of the engine. Such a craft was a true Jedi ship; a high-performance machine emphasizing speed and agility over brute strength. That was not to say, however, that Talon's particular Eta-2 was not without its nasty surprises. In addition to its dual laser cannons and secondary ion cannons, the craft was also modified to hold several shadow bombs: customized proton torpedoes equipped specifically for Jedi use. A stronger generator allowed for more powerful thrust and shielding, and a compact hyperdrive allowed for at least one emergency jump.

For standard travel, however, the Eta-2 still relied upon its complimentary hyperspace ring, and when Talon hopped into the cockpit, that was where Zee went to take them. At long last, they were going to be leaving the murky forests of Mrkyr, and head to where they could once again access the Force.

There was no denying it, Talon was ready for it”¦ he had been stowed away for long enough as it was.

After a brief dock with the hyperspace ring, the duo was gone in a flash, heading towards the Spec-Ops base on Ilum.

Above the planet a lone transport dropped out of hyperspace with a Sith Warrior and apprentice at the helm. Instantly Zad could feel the massive bubble that lacked the force before him. Some areas of the planet, small areas, still retained the force but for the most part the native creatures here had stripped the entire area of the very thing that binds everything and keeps it alive. It would be a fitting place to truly test the mundane skills of another Warrior, for even if the person wanted to they could not touch upon the great asset that was the force.

It was jarring to feel the absolute absence of Force. Malyss had read about this place and of cases where the ability to draw upon the Force had been extinguished. Not even her wildest imaginings hinted at what she was experiencing now.

She had cringed at Zad's touch but let him dress the tracks of her penance. She was slightly shocked that he would even bother. She watched him with a sharp eye and listened with an ever sharper ear as he spoke. When he finished talking Malyss flexed the fingers of her right arm, stood and answered him.

"Entirely."

The ship touched down without either the Sith Lord, or the apprentice saying another word. Once it was down, Zad began shutting everything down. Once it was done properly he began to work on the control panel for several minutes before finally figuring out a way to remove a vital piece of the console. The ship would not fly without it, he would hold it with him until a later time when Malyss was gone and he could safely stow it away.

She muttered an emotionless, "You too," before heading off to quickly change into sturdier clothing and gather the few provisions permitted.

Shortly there after Malyss charged through an alien jungle. Her charge was not aimless. Being armed with but a lightsaber and mundane force-less abilities she was all eyes and ears while bolting through the massive labyrinth of trees. Determined to cling to some sense of direction she noted occasional natural markers that might serve to shepherd her back in the event of disorientation. At one point she thought, 'What's the point of noting such things... I'll nothing but a meal waiting to happen.'

Blood lusting insects swarmed. Malyss ran faster so the little blood suckers couldn't easily find purchase to land on and drain her dry. She also despised the thought of catching some incurable alien disease from the horde of buzzing little bastards. Her imagination kicked in, dreamed up all manners of diabolical creatures. She tried not to imagine what beasts might soon be ripping her to shreds. And as all these petty thoughts clogged her mind Malyss came to realize that worrying over such things was easier than obsessing over the barbaric things Zad would do should he catch her.

An image of the Sith Lord's smug grin scrawled across her mind. Malyss's face tensed into a mask of hatred. "Kill you..." she hissed at the imagined visage. She pushed deeper into the jungle, determined to survive no matter what miscreation stepped into her path.

Having been robbed of his preternatural senses, Zad was left with the mundane senses that he had indulged in so long ago. They were nothing compared to what he was used to, but for the next few days they would have to do. He decided against taking his light saber, as without the force even he would have an extreme amount of difficulty using it as anything more then a cutting utensil. Add on the sheer weight of the hilt and it would only be a hindrance

He selected a finely crafted six inch dagger with a phrik lacing, just in case Malyss was foolish enough to make an attempt at using her light saber. The weather here was no worry, but the natural predators and insects would be a problem. He'd just have to deal with the insects, as he refused to use a bug repellant. Such a thing would be foolish, as it would allow her to track him instead of vice versa.

He wouldn't sport a shirt, as it would only risk snagging on something or otherwise slowing him down. He clipped the dagger to his belt and secured his boots, making they were tight enough to not present any problems along the way. He hadn't been on a hunt like this in quite some time, he could only hope his tracking skills were a fraction of what they used to be.

The muscular Sith took his first step out of the ship and onto the tightly compacted ground of this forsaken planet. It was not hard to pick up on the direction Malyss had taken, as in her effort to run away as quickly as she could she forgot that no matter how fast she ran, if she cut the trail for him and made it obvious he would be able to catch her. He hadn't forgotten that time was a factor here though and so he planned to continue straight threw until the two days were up or until he caught her.

As much as he knew she would make a fine Sith lord, he couldn't help but want to sink his claws into her. She was the object of his torment and perverse thoughts; distracting at best and fatal at worst. To peel back her flesh with his knife, then sever every individual muscle fiber in her body would bring him great satisfaction and ease his mind surely.

With a light chuckle he began to follow her path, moving with much more ease over the land then she had. Such were the benefits of following the path. He moved with all the agility of a panther on the hunter. He would close in on her, but wouldn't move in at first. Leaving just enough clues for her to figure out that he was lurking somewhere near; to know he was watching her, but never know from where or just how close he was. It would drive her mad and be a delightful time for him and in the end, that was all that really mattered.

It takes two sides to make war. It only takes one side to make a massacre.

Having run far enough and refusing to prey to anything, especially a thing as mammothly arrogant as Zad, Malyss turned and backtracked. Her lean and lengthy body moved with a sinister ease over and under shrub and branch. Muscles moved under flesh with a smoothness that bordered on liquescence.

She stopped suddenly, stood as still and as statuesque as any exquisitely cut marble sculpture. Her nostrils flared slightly as she closed her eyes and drew in the scents that swarmed just as voratiously as the native insects did.

The place was teeming with sounds and scents but none even faintly reminded her of the thing that stalked. She carefully made her way from the obvious path she'd cut through the jungle. Once deep away from the path she crouched down and scooped the dank soil of the jungle floor into her cupped hands. She plastered it over her face, into her hair and continued to do so until most of her body had become clad in the flesh of Myrkr itself.

Malyss finally tucked her lightsaber into her top, nestled it snugly between her breasts. She then prowled like a hunting feline through the dense underbrush of the jungle. She moved slowly, agonizingly slowly, every sense alert and sharp and hungrily hunting for the divine mongrel bastard that hunted her. The ghost of a smile touched upon her lips momentarily as sadistic thought danced seductively through her scheming mind.

Kitt spoke to his padawan, Conner through the force the moment the ship exited hyperspace above the planet Myrkr.

"...Conner, Land near the outskirts. We don't want attention drawn to us. This is going to be a private lesson..."

Kitt had remain in a state of meditation during the whole trip. His thoughts brought him to the battle that was now raging. Jedi and the Alliance fought together against Sith and Imperial forces. Kitt felt slightly bad for not responding, but he knew he couldn't place his apprentice in a situation like that yet. It was not his time...for now.

Conner nodded to his master as he looked for a nice spot to land the ship. "Yes master" He said as he lowered the ship towards the ground. Conner quickly looked at the sensors and noticed that nobody was around for miles. "This is the best spot master" Conner said as he set the ship down and started to power down the ship.

He walked to the back of the ship and opened the bay doors and walked out of the ship and looked around as he started to stretch out. "A private lesson, wonder what he has in-stored" Conner said to himself.

Kitt sat up when he heard the engines power down. He picked up his things and walked down the ramp to where his apprentice, Conner was waiting.

"Not far from here is a place where you can find the last parts of your lightsaber."

Kitt sat down on the ground and looked up at his padawan.

"You will notice that in some spots, you will not be able to feel the force, which will make it more difficult. Once you have collected your parts, report back to me for the second part of your lesson."

Conner stretched some more and listened to his master. "Yes master, I will re-turn." Conner opened his mind up to the force to guide him to where the parts are. Starting off on a walk then going into a slow jog, Conner felt the force pulling him closer to the parts and farther from the ship.

Going deeper into the forest Conner soon felt a slip in the force. Concentrating and trying to keep a hold on the force, but failed. "What was that about?" he said to himself then realized that his master wasn't lying to him but telling the truth. Starting to run Conner came to a clearing of the forest and felt a small presence of the Force. Holding onto that small strand of the force Conner found himself standing in the area of where the crystals where. Dropping to his knees he began to dig. After digging for almost a twenty minutes Conner pulled out two large crystals. Smiling he placed them in his bag and continued to use the force to find the last part of his lightsaber.

Leaning against a tree, Conner realized he didn't know what time it was. Grabbing onto a branch from the tree and pulling himself up, he came to the top of the tree and saw the sun setting down behind forest. "Its getting dark and the planets predators will be hunting soon. I need to finish this quick. opening his mind once more to the force which hit him like a fresh breath of air, Conner could feel a great connection with the force on top of the trees. Using the force to find where the last piece he would need to build his lightsaber was. He quickly jumped from the tree and used the force to soften the fall. Sprinting towards what looked like a small abandoned village, Conner started to look around. Nobody was around and it looked like they haven't for a long time.

Remembering what he saw with the force, he opened a door to a small hut and started to look around. Finding some pieces that could be used for power couplings, he quickly put them in his bag and started to run back to the ship. Now the sun was completely set he could hear predators around him. Stopping only for a second to catch his breath he heard something running towards him. Turning around and ducking as a Vornskrs jumps over him. Quickly rising to his feet, Conner started to run past the predator. Making it to the tree line, he felt the force starting to flow through him. Using the force to quicken his feet he began to put distance between them. As Conner grew closer to where his ship was, once again he used the force to launch himself into the air and landing only a few meters short of his ship. He slowed his pace down and walked to his master. "I told you I would return." He said with a smile on his face and sat down with his master.

Kitt was in deep meditation when he felt his padawan approach. Kitt slowly opened his eyes to see Conner coming out of the woods. As his apprentice spoke, Kitt took notice that he had the parts that he needed, and then some.

"Ideally, Jedi take many months to construct a single perfect weapon that he or she would keep and use for a lifetime. Once you build it, the lightsaber will become your constant companion, your tool, and a ready means of defense."

Kitt stood up and pointed to Conner's ship.

"Now, You must go and conquer. Conquer Arrogance, Conquer Overconfidence, Conquer Defeatism, Conquer Stubbornness, Conquer Recklessness, Conquer Curiosity, Conquer Aggression, Conquer External Loyalties, Conquer Materialism. You must conquer these things as you build your lightsaber. Now, go."

Kitt sat back down into his meditation position.

Conner stood up and walked into his ship going into the holding bay and pulled out the tools he needed and placing all the parts on the table. Conner stood their for awhile and concentrated on the Force. "Let the force guide you" He said quietly to himself. Working on the lightsaber was more work then he thought it would be. He conquered arrogance and overconfidence when he started.

Putting the final touch of the lightsaber he smiled as he realized that he conquered everything that his master wanted him to. Drawling on the Force to finish the lightsaber, he smiled and held it in his hands. Knowing that this is his new weapon, his alley and not only that but it would become an extension of his own body. Hours passed before he came out of the hanger bay and quietly sat down next to his master in a meditation position.

Kitt felt his padawan sit besides him. Without leaving his meditation trance, he spoke to Conner.

"With your lightsaber comes responsibility. Practice Honesty, Honor Your Promise, Honor Your Padawan, Honor Your Master, Honor the Jedi Council, Honor the Jedi Order, Honor the Law, Honor Life."

Kitt let his words sink in with his apprentice before he continued on.

"With your responsibility comes a duty to the Alliance. You are to always render aid. You are to always defend the weak. You are to always provide support."

Kitt slowly let his word sink in as he slowly came around from his meditation trance. He opened his eyes and looked into his padawans.

"Now...It is time for you to learn a style of lightsaber combat. You may already know Shii-Cho, or at least, had some training in it. Now, you must decide which style is best for you."

Kitt stood up from his sitting position and hinted that Conner should do the same. Once his padawan was standing, Kitt began to tell him of the different forms.

"Shii-Cho is the very simple and basic form of the lightsaber, from there, it gets more philosophy added to it, or moves get more complex. Form II: Makashi, is designed around Lightsaber to Lightsaber combat. It deals with precision and finesse. Form III: Soresu, developed as a counter to blaster weapons used by single or multiple opponents. Form IV: Ataru. Ataru is the name given to the movements of this form - though it is aggressive, it is focused, and its best use is in combat against a single opponent. Finally, we come to Form V: Shien / Djem So. Shien, considered the classical Form V, was more adept at blocking blaster bolts, whereas Djem So, developed later, was designed for lightsaber combat. Both Shien and Djem So were designed to use the opponent's attack against them, as evidenced by Shien's focus on returning blaster bolts to their origin."

Kitt allowed the quick lesson to settle before he moved on.

"Kirlocca, the Jedi master that you picked up, uses elements of Makashi and Ataru in the way he fights, but he is a master of both Shien and Djem So. Only two have ever mastered both forms, Anakin Slywalker and Kirlocca."

Conner stood up after his master and stood in-front of him. Hearing the different fighting styles he wondered which one he should pick. Holding his lightsaber out in front of him he heard every word his master was saying, to honor my promise, my padawan, my master, the Jedi Council, the Jedi Order, the Law, and Life. "I'll honor all of them master." He said.

"I will serve the Alliance and the Jedi Council to the best of my abilities, I will protect the week and provide support." Keeping eye contact with his master he let all the words sink into his mind and in his heart. 'I have a duty to protect the weak' he thought to himself. "Master, what fighting style do you use?" He said still thinking of which one he would like to learn. "I want to learn Shien and Djem So, but I also would like to learn Makashi, and Ataru. I know it will be hard but Shien and Djem So would most likely be my pick of fighting styles."

Kitt broke into full laughter when his padawan was done with his speech. It took Kitt a full four seconds to recompose himself.

"I actually learned Shii-Cho and Ataru, but my skills in them are very limited."

Kitt thought for a brief second before continuing on.

"What's so funny is that you picked out forms that Jedi Master Kirlocca mastered. He uses Shien and Djem So when he fights, but with elements of Ataru and Makashi with it. How much of an impression did he leave on you to want to carry on what he learns?"

Kitt didn't give Conner a chance to respond. Kitt pulled out his lightsaber hilt, which was very basic and plain. With a snap-hiss, a blue blade emerged from the hilt.

"Activate your blade and take stance. Allow the weapon to control you for a while. You will take notice that the only weight that can be felt is the hilt. The blade is weightless."

((Mods, I'm from Red Dawn here to harvest ysalamiri))

Chikushou and his 10 campanions((NPCs)) exited hyperspace above Myrkr. They arrived at Myrkr faster than most ships would due to his knowledge of the secret wookiee hyperspace routes. He chose a clearing in the thick metalic forest to land.

Chik ordered for five to set up camp and the other five to guard them. Chik himself went in the forset a few yards to look for ysalamiri. He would be able to find as many as he desired once he found one, as to he would be able to track others down with his keen sense of smell. He leaped ten feet into the trees and used his metal claw caps to dig into the trees metal filled trunks. All he had to do then was look around to find one. He put his dog-like nose near it and got a wiff of its distinct smell that humans didn't even notice. After that every breath of his pinpointed dozens of ysalamiri.

Chik jumped down from the tree and walked into the half set-up camp. He sat down in a chair after telling the others that he had found them. He was amazed at what he was doing, and at only age 16! He was a pup compared to almost all other wookiees. His father was himself 500 years old!

Conner felt embarrassed and activated one end of his saber with a snap-hiss a green blade slowly came out of the hilt. Smiling he looked at his master and took his fighting stance. "Master I know I can be a pest at times, but it wasn't that he made an impression on me, I just didn't know which to pick but I would like to learn your fighting style."

Conner took the same fighting stance as his master and noticing his master was right that the only weight of the saber was the hilt not even the blade. "I mean I've never even seen you fight or use your blade before so if it doesn't cause to much trouble I'd like to master the same style's you did master." Conner kept his stare at his master and didn't move until his master did or told him too.

Kitt smiled.

"Well, you haven't seen me use my lightsaber because I know how to avoid using mine. We have also not encountered a situation where it was needed. However, you get to see it now."

Kitt held up his blade, showing off the blue blade. Kitt brought the blade back to it's position that it was in just a few seconds earlier.

"As for the style I mastered....I never mastered a style. I have training in Shii-cho and Ataru, but that's as far as it goes."

Kitt thought about it for a second before he continued on.

"I could train you in Shii-cho and Ataru."

Chikushou directed his men to start havesting ysalamiri. Five would harvest and the other five would guard them from vornskr. He himself would both guard and direct the harvesting to make sure not a single ysalamiri was lost because of carelessness.

Conner nodded to his master and laughed a little. "Shii-cho and Ataru would be nice to learn." Still standing in his fighting stance he brought the other end of the lightsaber to life with a snap-hiss both blades extended he turned his body to the side and brought the hilt of his saber towards his waist. Holding the double bladed saber in his hands he stood there and smiled at his master.

"I really didn't know my father, your the closest thing I know to a father.....Meaning you taught me and showed me how to do things" Conner let his words be true, he looked at his master more then a master but as a father and wanted to learn as much as he could from him. Even the hilt of his double bladed saber resembled Kitt's and even used his idea that you have to use to force to activate the saber.

With things well on their way, Chikushou decided to let Vigo Onnd know of how the mission is doing.

He couldn't get a signal from his position on the groud so he decided to fly to the upper atmosphere and try then. Putting someone in charge, he lifted off in his frieghter for high attidude. Still no signal, a bright idea came to him. He would use the sensors near Dubrillion to get the message out. He easily got through the fire walls due to his imense slicing skills.

Agent Chik, this is Jacen Onnd. I need to amend my order to include two vornskr's. One male, one female. There should be two cages aboard your starship that are supplied with every yslamari mission. Trap the animals in these cages, and bring them to me when you have finished your mission.

The sun was set and the moon's were out. Conner stood in front of his master holding his saber close to him. The only lights that were shown was the two lightsabers. Talking to his master Conner thought about what he just said. 'He is like a father to me' He copied every move his master made and every stance he took.

"Training in the arts of the lightsaber is not easy. You will find trials that you must face about yourself, ones that even Jedi master don't want to go through, but they are necessary to who you are."

Kitt thought back to the day that he went through his. Memories of pain and suffering came to his mind, but the Jedi knight quickly pushed them aside to concentrate on his padawan.

"As you learn, you will find things about yourself, your weakness, your strengths, and your very flaws. But these are things to see and acknowledge, not to fear."

Kitt held his blade in front of him, showing Conner the main stance of Ataru.

"This is the main stance of Ataru. Shii-cho has none besides the basics, and you are already aware of them."

Kitt began to swing his blade, slowly moving them into different positions.

"These are basic forms of how you should swing your blade for both offensive and defensive maneuvers. They are of Shii-cho, for Ataru is more a method then an actually form."

Kitt held his blade at the ready.

"Ataru is the name given to the movements of this form - though it is aggressive, it is focused, and its best use is in combat against a single opponent. Ataru is characterized by Force-assisted acrobatics, both for attack and defense, and fast, powerful strikes."

Kitt took in a breath before he continued. He made sure that Conner was taking it all in.

"Form IV practitioners constantly called upon the Force to aid in their movements and attacks. By allowing the Force to flow throughout their body, they can overcome their physical limitations, and allow them to perform amazing feats of acrobatics, such as somersaults and backflips, not only for attack, but also to evade the attacks and strikes of their opponents. Those who use Form IV can move at high speeds and can rain strong blows, jumping and attacking through the air. Powerful and quick spinning attacks cad be utilized from all angles, either from ground or air. Because it is such an aggressive fighting style, you should only use it against single opponents"

Kitt allowed a moment for Conner to absorb it all in.

"Let me know when you are ready to move on to Shii-cho."
