  1. Cypher let his senses calm to a subtle level of comfort as the storm died down. He had completed...that which he came to do. As he slowly rose, he turned to the direction of the heavy force activity. It had all died down finally. His long trek would leave him a bit of time to ponder over what he had gained in the desert. As he trudged on, Cypher still remained stalwart against the dry humid air and beating suns. He was used to it after all these years. Eventually he felt the presence of the powerful Jedi he had a preemptive vision of not that long ago. Cypher drew near the cave but stopped on the high dune away from her location and gazed down upon her location. With the force sight he made out her striking features that hid her true prowess in the force's limitless abilities. Cypher had retrieved his dark cloak from the sandstorm using the force to find it in the chaos and bringing it to his own hand without moving himself. He remained silent as his form made a shadowy outline in the dip of the dune, the gentle breeze of the now calm desert blew his cloak to the west as the Eastern winds sounded across the soft surface. There was a slight tinge in the force that contended itself within Cypher's form. It was unexplainable what it could be, however, it had not been there before his skirmish...if that is what it may be called...in the desert. Cypher finally spoke out in an authorative yet deep voice that echoed in the midst of the wind, "A Jedi Master...so far out here? I don't think it is safe...especially with Sith about...although his presence is not quite remote yet..." Cypher smiled slightly with the jest of a remark as such. He may have been a hardened warrior, but he still had a slight sense of humor.
  2. Cypher waited for the others to leave the Cantina before whisping away from the Captain and his engineers and out into the desert sun. Cypher kept his senses about as the force levels began to rise in the desert to the East. That woman...was there. He knew, however, that it may not be the right time to intervene in such an affair. Cypher turned on his heel and walked from the edge of the town towards the Western end of the Dune Sea...and the old Dragon's Lair. When he was a child he had come across the legendary creature once. It was sleeping by the sound of it. He didn't have force sight back then but learned to navigate by hearing and smell alone. His concerns here were not for the dragon, but for the fact there was a strong force plain out here. His footsteps made a 'plumph' noise as he sank slightly into the soft sands, calming his mind and allowing himself to focus. When he came upon the strong force area, away from the others, he sat down in a cross-legged position and began to ease his mind into the usual state. He would try his elemental over wind again. This power had been granted to him without the force and has confused any who tried to figure out how it came to be, including Aryian Darkfire himself. Allowing his mind to disapear into the dark void, Cypher focused with all intents of creating what he used to when he was younger...mini sand tornados. However, as he focused more and more, the power began to build up until finally a burst of sand around him signaled the start of a large whirlwind that began to spread outward slowly and high into the sky. It took up so much sand that it appeared to be a sand storm. Strangely he still held control over the monstrosity of a formation. He calmed his mind again as he began to move it slightly and directed the wind in a different manner, causing three 'sister' tornados to split from the original and move about himself in their immense size... Cypher kept his focus as he meditated on the spot, multi-tasking with the wind element as he became accustomed to the force. His hood fluttered about him in the wind in an awe inspiring manner until it was eventually whipped from his neck and blown away. He kept ever erect and held the meditation as the desert sand beat upon his back.
  3. Cypher allowed the conversation between Odan and the man to progess without his intervention as he let his senses go about himself. Although true his power would seem like that of a Jedi Knight...he was still an Apprentice until his trials. He had trained far beyond the need of a normal student and had become quite comfortable in the force's abilities. But something caught him off guard. Not far from his own table came a slight tinge in the force. A form of anger that he had not felt since his dreams of his father's death by the hand of the Sith lord. A small amount of the Dark Side's aura came from a single entity who radiated with a hope yet to recall his 'sins' so to speak. Cypher examined the figure (Talrin) with his force sight as he kept his back opposite the bar. He saw the lightsaber and the young appearance of the boy. He was merely a trainee, having but only his training sabre on-hand. That was when the immense presence hit him. Cypher turned his head immediately towards the Maladron Dunes far off to the East and could not take his body away from the direction. There was an empowering force spike somewhere in the desert that he had never sensed before now. He slowly stood as he focused his force sight. You can do it Cypher... Allowing his sight to travel out of the bar and towards the Dunes, Cypher seemed slightly dazed in his stance. All he could see was a 5 foot diameter of a retical with the edges obscured by the force. Suddenly it jumped as if having been pushed abroad, sending his presence high into the sky. It was there that he saw something. A lone figure (Kirana Sunrider) standing in the center of the Dunes where no man would usually bother to go, holding herself in a strong nature that showed a determinant soul. He could not get a clear vision before the presence collapsed, causing his sight to overload itself. Cypher suddenly lifted a hand and removed the scarf that covered his blind eyes, allowing the dazzling baby blue orbs to free themselves from the fabricated prison. He turned his baby blue eyes up to the ceiling and tried again to focus, but could not. His stern experienced face...the scar under his right eye...all were simple signs of his own mistakes...and now this. He could not focus his mind for the first time. Something about the presence...confused his senses.
  4. Cypher had taken his seat on the stool next to the captain, enjoying a rather entertaining conversation about the Wampas on Hoth, when suddenly a man's voice rang out. It had a commanding tone to it, as that of someone who took crap from no man. Cypher let his head turn slightly as the bustle of men leaving caught his attention. His Black hood covered the front of his face and the rag that covered his blind eyes. The lower half of his broad stern face was lit dimly from the hollow light from above the bar, revealing a distinct scar just under his right eye. Cypher kept his back to the men as he glanced back at the pilot who had gone silent. He finally decided to intervene. His voice came out in a monotonous deep sound, "Master Dashel...had other business to attend to. He won't be back for sometime." Cypher used his force sight to examine the enemies while his back was still turned. He always kept everything in his range under close watch. The lightsaber that was hidden at his belt beneath the cloak clinked slightly as his anxiety was aroused. He calmed himself immediately, allowing the belt loop to relax the saber again. There was something about this he did not like. Perhaps it was just himself being paranoid again. But you could never be too careless.
  5. Cypher's nerves were thrown into chaos at the sudden change in the mood. His senses weren't fully about as the ship came into view. Before he knew it, Odan and himself were in fighters and engaging the hostile entities. Afterward, Cypher kept a basic right side guard to the refugee ship in an effort to take on any hidden dangers that may try and flank them. Cypher nodded in acknowledgement to his Master and thought in his mind, "Of course Master." He veered off as the ship was heading for the North Hangar that was run by an old man who was rumored to have lived in Dagobah a while back. No one could tell for sure for he never spoke of his past. As the group of three came to the rooftop entrance a call came out. It was the same old voice. "Hangar 4 requesting identification and authorization." He must have thought the refugee ship was a trader escort. Cypher came back as he flipped on the open frequency, "Trade embarkment negative. Refugee effort from Coruscant...good to hear your voice again Gedja." There was a strange silence and Cypher silently smiled to himself from beneath the hood as he brought his fighter in behind the escort, landing just to the left as it dropped down. Cypher opened the hatch and lept from it, landing with a quiet thud upon the worn stone floor. Gedja, the old man who ran the hangar slowly came stumbling out into the halo like light from above. It was dark and musty down here, but still cool as long as you stay away from the light. "How do you know my name?" came the old yet wise voice of the man. "Because you were the one who helped me fix my speeder bike every time it was sabotaged by the sand people." A smile creeped up on the old man's face as he said in a failed whisper, "Well I'll be damned...welcome back Cypher ol' boy." As Cypher spoke with the man, he let his sense go out around to tell who else was about. The ship with the refugees began to unload, surprisingly with quite a few people. Almost too many for the ship's limit. He glanced at Odan and then back to them as the Pilot and the engineering crew approached them. The pilot looked old in his Republic uniform, but nonetheless still held an aura of a leader about himself. "Great job out there boys. Recieved the call from your ship Master, but I'm still wondeirng what you guys are doing here with fighters of all things." Cypher again used his force sight and checked on Odan before responding, "Just a few things we picked up from scraping metal if you know what I mean." A little hint that Cypher had heard in the Cantina before. The Pilot gave a large 'Ohhhh' before responding, "So you all are smugglers huh? Huh well thanks. To the Cantina then pal?" Cypher waited for the man to lead as he made his way to the exit ramp that led out into the outer limits of the hot city. They didn't need to know that they were Jedi. Not unless the need be so.
  6. Tatooine...it had been so long since he had been blessed with the sight of his home world, using the force. It was the first time he had gotten a look at the planet since the day he was attacked. It seemed refreshing to be back home, the thought of seeing the looks on the faces of those he knew after they saw him with the real lightsaber his Master assisted him with. Finally an actual model instead of the original two practice sabers. He would have to return them to Master Darkfire if he ever saw him. His goal one day would be to wield the legendary double-ended blade in order to honor his father who died in combat. But for now, the future cuold hold on for one moment as he took in the homely sight that would usually make people groan in annoyance. The saber that was created had a medium bright shine to the chrome finish and shone between a Bright Yellow and white color. The handle had black rubber-stop grips that made it look strangely like Anakin's old lightsaber, despite it's differing color. Cypher listened to the Master as he stared down upon the gently glowing planet. "My father was..." he suddenly stopped. He could not talk about his family's past to the Master for fear of his own emotions. The Dark Side was tricky when it came to subtle emotion changes and could change the will of a man in an instant. He tried to block the vision of his father's last fight from his mind, hoping it would not concume his mind as it did before Master Darkfire had helped him. It had been blocked from his mind so long, locked away into the vortex of his own center force. Now it was beginning to come back at the mere mention of his title.
  7. When his master seperated the two of them, Cypher let the force hold him gently after realizing what had happened. He didn't hate the feeling of being controlled, but rather enjoyed the unexpected feelinng that a seperate entity could bring to him with a force push. It allowed him to experience different levels and created an anti-level of his own if ever he should run into it again. Cypher did not resent his request but nodded and responded calmly, "Of course Master...I am actually curious myself...as to my complete history. I have been rumored on Tatooine to be related to the Skywalker lineage...but I never knew if it was true." The actual building of a lightsaber was not something new to him. He had seen it before his own eyes before. Now he had to recall on his memory... A lightsaber's handgrip is approximately twenty-four to thirty centimeters long and features a mirrorlike concave metal disk called a blade emitter on one end. Controls include an activation lever, a recharge socket, diagnostic readouts, and in some cases blade length and intensity controls. Opening the small access panel reveals a tiny but very sophisticated power cell as well as at least one-and sometimes several-multifaceted crystals or jewels. The lightsaber's jewels focus the power cell's energy charge into a tight parallel beam that emerges from the blade emitter as a vibrant blade of pure energy. The blade is a closed energy loop. It's amplitude determines when the energy beam arcs back to the negatively charged high-energy flux aperture that rings the outer edge of the lightsaber's concave disk. The power cell can last for years because it is fed by the energy that enters the flux aperture; the weapon loses energy only when the blade makes contact with another object. The lightsaber's deadly energy blade can cut through almost any substance. Because the blade itself has no weight and emits no heat, a novice may easily miscalculate it's path. Therefore, when Odan first accepts the lightsaber, he must be careful of his own strikes. A Jedi knight undertakes years to master the weapon, developing the skill that allows him or her to block incoming blaster bolts or fend off as many as a dozen attackers. Each lightsaber is custom-built, normally by the Jedi student as one of the tests of an apprentice's skills. After his disasterous defeat at Cloud City, Luke Skywalker retired to Obi-Wan Kenobi's hut on Tatooine to build his new lightsaber, perhaps hoping that the familiar and comfortable place would provide solace as he grappled with the knowledge that Darth Vader might be his father. Most lightsabers have customized features such as pressure-sensitive activation levers (so that the blade disappears as soon as the saber is released) and multiple crystals that enable the user to alter the amplitude and length of the blade. The lightsaber's handgrip is as much a work of art as a practical weapon, often featuring a design native to the Jedi's homeworld or built by the student in a style reminiscent of his master's lightsaber. Jedi drew there lightsabers only as a last resort-when negotiation fails to resolve a dispute peacefully-but their skills were unquestioned once these magnificent energy blades flashed. It was coming back now...after so long. Now as for the actual layout of the lightsaber... Blade emitter High Energy Flux Aperture Blade Emitter Shroud Emitter Matrix Controls for Blade intensity and length Diagnostic systems Crystal Lense assembly Recharge sockets Hanndgrip/Power cell depending on style Activation lever/Plate Power Cell (If grip is seperate) Belt Ring and Access Plate The knowledge was there. Now it was time to put it to good use.
  8. The slightly bulky craft of Master Dashel's came within the atmosphere of Mon Calamari. Cypher raised himself ever so gently from his seat as he seemed to be staring through the right hull of the ship directly down on the planet. The planet glowed with a mighty force that was full of life. It envigorated his senses to know he was in a populous place again among allies. The heat from the atmospshere crawled through the space and creeped across his hardened face and shoulders, seeping it's way through his heavy clothes until he felt his nerves beginning to calm from the sudden change. Cypher glanced back to Master Dashel as he made his way to the cock-pit. He reached down with his left hand and slowed the pace of the craft and set it to circle the shipyard continuously. He then turned back with a whip of his black cloak and said to Master Dashel, "Confined Combat sir...may it now begin." Cypher brought his hands up before him as the twin sabers from his master floated gently to his hands from the belt loops and with a slight scrape came to rest in each outstretched hand. Cypher slowly turned the power dial down to a non-lethal weapon. Usually he would train under the lethal settings in order to maximize his experience. He found out a few times how hard it could be to take a hit from a lightsaber and got used to the feeling eventually. Cypher ignited the blades with a flick of each index finger. The hull around them mixed into a blueish/purpleish color as the cross fade from the blue lightsaber in his left hand mixed with the green lightsaber in his right. Both the sabers had identical silver-chromed handles that shone brilliantly in the abstract combination of colors. He stood slightly stiff in a straight-forward stance with each saber pointed down at a 45 degree angle, parallel to his arms. He wouldn't go too far into his own stance however...for fear of letting the adrenaline overthrow his judgement. Cypher stood, facing Odan, and waited patiently for the young padawan to prepare.
  9. ((OOC: Be careful Odan. It takes time to gain that sort of perception in Force sight and doesn't just come to you. Not to mention that if you go too far into it, it can actually be used as a weapon...because that reaches into the Dark Side. It could allow you with much more time of training to actually use the force lethaly on someone far away)) Cypher focused on the young padawan for a moment as the link between him and the Master enstrengthened Odan to see the initial sight. It could be quite a jump to those who aren't expecting to see everything in light...a quick and hard lesson to the fact that the force is truely everywhere. Be warned however...that if you delve too deep into the abilities of Force Sight...it can become a weapon. It is not reserved to just the Jedi...but I am sure that some of the Sith have mastered it as well. If you focused hard enough on one person wherever they may be...you could very well kill them. I can't do that and don't plan on it...for having powers such as that promotes arrogance and disloyalty. Remember to use what you learn productively in the direction of the Jedi order and for the good of the people... not for personal gain such as being a peeping tom. He smiled slightly at the joke he had just made. It was to slightly humour the mood in the ship, pending the duel to come between him and the other padawan.
  10. Cypher bowed slightly in his seat, "As you wish Master..." Having cleared his mind, he began to let his thoughts come out in a fluent order that seemed to sooth the aura about the room. With the connection that Master Dashel had created, he could effectively convey his thoughts. Force sight is not merely being able to feel the presence...it is to see it...to understand it's properties and see where it hides. In time you will be able to use the Force sight to identify places from far away, or even close by. There are people in the next room...and you already know they are there and can see exactly what they are doing as if it was a movie playing out in your mind... That is the blunt definition of these powers. In order to attain the ability, you must clear your mind as in any case...allow the force to take over your body and focus. Once in the right state of mind, don't control the force...merely embrace it's presence....feel it flow through you and then outward into your surroundings. The force is everywhere which we know, you just have to know how to call upon it in even the darkest of places. Let your body fall into the void that we call focus and keep your eyes closed as you look about yourself...envision it...use all of your senses to gather it in. Cypher had his force sight focused on the other two who sat across from him. It was funny how even when moving through space, their force aura seemed to whisp away like slow moving smoke.
  11. Cypher nodded to Master Dashel as he toggled the navigational system and engaged the ship. It had it's own designation system...interesting. His old A-wing had to be controlled by manual establishment, but that of course was because of it's space battle neccesity. After having entered the coordinate Data for their destination, Cypher walked back to the seating bay as the ship lifted from the hangar and at a rapid speed made it's way into space. Immediately he could feel the cold chill that spread through the ship, confirming their arrival in the outer zone of Haruun. His breath slowly whisped before his own face, looking like a shining blue smoke in his force sight. Cypher turned to the control panel at the mid-section and turned on the reverbarators that created a heat pulse which kept the lines from freezing and also kept the temperature at a moderate 65 degrees. He slowly turned as his cloak whisped after him and sat smoothly in one of the swivel chairs in the center docking area before the Master and the padawan. The dim light beams from above gave a barred look across the blueish floor that made an eery stage appearance. "A lecture on Force sight Master? It is not attainable through only a single lecture..it takes much time, and that I have." He motioned with his hand as the other two chairs slowly slid across the floor to seat 8 feet before himself, facing him directly.
  12. Cypher looked about the strange vessel of Master Illioni. It was strange to him, for his lack of being in circulation with the rest of society for so long. His training had become his life... and his life had become his training. ((Just for the record I made that up myself lol.)) Slowly making his way back to the ramp, Cypher inspected the entrance way which looked slightly beaten from previous adventures of some matter...the hydraulic lines were slightly burnt and showed signs of wear and tear. This ship has been through a lot...and it showed. Cypher let his hand rest upon the rail as he paced down the ramp. Staring with the force at his own blue glow that slid along it's surface, a path of what seemed to be the force was left in it's wake as it faded not long after he released it from his grip. It was true...the force is everywhere and he now confirmed it. It only took one's mind to focus enough to obtain the ability and wield it. Hence why the Jedi were the advanced and most well known group. Cypher was sure there were other force users that obtained it differently besides the Sith and the Jedi, sort of like his elemental over wind. As he walked about the hangar, waiting for Master Illioni, he stopped before the long panel glass that overlooked the arena. In the center there remained only two...Scorp Jedi Knight, and his young padawan. From his force sight, he could see she had obvious qualities of beauty, but could not pin point from such a distance. Temptation...another one of the acclaimed 'sins' of the Jedi. When on Tatooine, he had much time to train himself with the Tai Chi and Kung Fu in the hot deserts. This smothened his attitude and allowed him to control the urges that may arise in any situation. His father had done the same...but he could not resist his wife. As Cypher turned from the panel and made his way onto the ramp, he thought about how one day his time would come...and then and only then would he let his guard down.
  13. ((If the lower region of the planet is infested with a poisonous concentration of a gaseous chemical...how is there a jungle for Psyche to run into? If we are just 'going with the flow' I'll forget about it..but I'm just curious.)) Cypher listened to the man's words. He had an aparent huskiness about his aura that gave a warrior's preconception to anyone fool hearted enough to judge a book by it's cover...another advantage of being blinded by the hand of the gods. This man had a strong force presence that radiated as the others did. It was not as that of Aryian Darkfire...but it was quite powerful in it's own right. Cypher quickly erased the thoughts from his calm mind. He knew that power was a misjudgment on the part of young jedi. Power is not what matters...only knowledge and a sense of justice. He nodded to the Master and said calmly, "Yes...Master Dashel..." Cypher turned with a smooth prestige as he slowly made his way out of the training arena to the hangar. The Master would most probably question how he found his name. It was not like a Padawan to be able to reach so far into the force as to hear one's thoughts..but Cypher's other abilities were only beginning to empower themselves to the full extent. The echoe of his own boots could be heard as the sound bounced from the steel encasing of the hall. The long light strips above were made to give off a moderate source of light. The same technology was taken from the facility on Hoth. The Generator had to power the Pulsars as well as the facility. The overload risk was too high for the engineers to comprehend, and were pushed into creating resourceful inventions. When Cypher came to the hangar, he watched the padawan from earlier as he returned to the loaded ship. It reminded him of those days so long ago...it was like looking back through time in the eyes of another. He turned and made his way to the A-Wing that lay at rest in the far East side. He slowly approached the old ship as the door swung open. The beep of the SNP droid welcomed him, but he merely raised his hand as his black cloak floated up from the seat and into his outstretched hand. Cypher turned on his heel as he swung the dark cloak around himself and tied it at the top just under the chin and around the waist, giving him an outlaw appearance as he called it. Moments later, he was back at the ship that the padawan from earlier was preparing. Cypher kept the twin sabers hidden within the confines of the lower part of the cloak as he walked up the ramp and into the innards of the vessel, drawing his hood about his face. His appearance was awe inspiring as his muscular tanned arms revealed themselves at the center of the slightly open cloak that tied to his belt around the back. The scars from his previous training reflected a shade from the dim light above which corresponded to the intricate silk red cloth that only showed partly in the light beyond the cover of the dark hood with his strong cheek bones, nose and chin. His black strap up boots clanked quietly as he made his way towards the main station and blended with the black and red outift and the silver case boxes along his belt which held various items for use in and out of missions.
  14. Cypher still stood, facing Scorp Jedi Knight as he heard the force command from the other master. He slowly turned and watched the dual between the Master and his padawan with an exhilerating feeling. The last time he drew his sabers, was back on Borleais. As the Master launched himself towards the padawan, Cypher examined his movements and kept them reserved in his mind for further reference. It may come in handy. Folding his arms over and seeing the bursts of force come from the two of them was quite amazing. Even in physical combat, the force had great intensity and a huge affect on the outcome. His sight seemed to now be a guide as to who was who...as if he could read someone's stature....weak or strong...good or evil...it seemed like a blessing in disguise. He had learned to fight with his sabers using the force sight and then went on to go totally blind and use only his senses in order to succeed. ((OOC: I asked Aryian this...but he never answered. The Jedi training temple that they called 'Borleais...isn't it supposed to be Borealis?"))
  15. Cypher turned his force sights back to one of the Masters, Scorp Jedi Knight, as he spoke to his padawan of the Code of the Jedi. When Aryian had told him all of the info, he didn't grow bored but rather took the information in and enjoyed the speech. Anything he could do to gain more knowledge in order to protect the rights of the people, he would do. Cypher smiled as the padawan was ordered to do the exercises. Now there was the tough training that he remembered. But back on the jungle terrain he had to deal with deadly creatures along his expeditions and quests. He didn't smile to be mean, but merely knew that even if teh padawan resented the traiing, it would further his abilities. Cypher had a good hold on the force and needed those trials. But who would help? Cypher slowly walked towards the Master and examined his force presence. He shone the bright blue that all Jedi usually do when they have reached a level worthy of being called a Master. "Good day sir. I am wondering if I may ask you a question...my Master...Aryian Darkfire disapeared while I was training in solitude. I have been told I am ready for my Knight trials, but I don't wish for them yet. I wish to learn as much as possible before I am knighted so as to use my skills and knowledge for a chance to better help the people and other creatures of this universe. I know it sounds rather blunt sir, but my father followed the same code of honor with a relentless passion. Now that he has fallen...I wish to fulfill his wishes to one day see peace in this Universe and do all I can." He knew it sounded a little like a little kid wanting to do something that is too much for him, but what he said was straight forward and to the point. He was told by his former Master that he would one day make a powerful Jedi. He complimented him on his fast growing skills and took interest in his elemental ability over wind. It seemed like a good hope that lay within his confident and calm heart.
  16. Cypher continued to watch the various Masters work with their padawans using his force sight. It was strange...as if he was looking back at his own early days when he first began training. He was slightly crestfallen as to his current situation and needed help. Cypher watched the Padawan who dueled with his saber only using the force. All of them, as they used the force appeared in his force sight as dim blue lights. That was, of course, except the Masters who shone brightly in his vision. The waves of the force coming from them seemed to ripple out and ventilate into the surroundings. Moving slowly down the steps into the training arena, he gazed around at all the equipment that they had here for training, something he lacked and had to do without in past years. As he stopped in the center of the arena level, just ahead of him was a deactivated republic style duel droid with a basic single lightsaber. Cypher slowly walked to the machine and extended a hand to touch the cool metallic surface but was surprised as it sprung to life before him, activating the lightsaber. Cypher back-flipped away from the droid and stood in a ready stance, watching it warily. The droid beeped loudly before coming in with quick intent and slashed diagonally to it's left. Cypher merely dodged aside with his upper body and didn't move. The droid spun into a back spin and came around with a twirling slash to his mid section and head. Cypher jumped above the mid section strike and landed on one of the droids arms in a sideways flip. The droid pointed it's scanner at him to comprehend what he had just done. A neurological examination of it's opponent showed of his blind disability. The droid spun it's arm away and tried to come with an upward slash. Cypher made his first strike. After landing back upon his feet from teh flip, he held his hand out and the droid suddenly froze. It was unable to move and reiterated the same beeps over and over again. Cypher tensed his hand in a quick jolt as the hydraulic controls on the bot were disabled. He then slowly focused harder as he pushed the droid back through the air to it's original position. Cypher let his hand drop and finally released the breath he did not know he had taken. His force abilities had grown over time as well...so much has changed.
  17. Cypher wandered about between the Jedi in their various duties. He could feel the force strong in this facility. All of them..so powerful and yet he would be a knight just like them if he had his trials. He had been in training far longer than most padawans have ever been and he was quite skilled in his general abilities. His master even pointed out that he had great abilities to do some of the things he had done so quickly. He had formed his own style of dual wielding in the time he was alone in solitary training, allowing him to have upper hand in the saber battles. As he moved about, Cypher came to the training area where he watched two masters who were working with their padawans.Dashel Illioni and Darex Trevelian. He was surprised at how much less of a push they had on these padawans. His Master had a more strong and forceful influence on him, pushing his limits to the max. Aryian Darkfire..wherever you are I won't let you down Master.
  18. OOC:((Thank you for your offer Darex. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me with my trials. I am however, trying to train my character to the greatest of his abilities before being made a Knight. For example, he has an elemental power of wind naturally without the force. That would need more work.)) Cypher turned as he felt the presence of two more Jedi arrivals. If the Imperials made it this far...there would be hell to pay for their mischief. Cypher was ready to fight, despite not being a full Jedi yet. He wished to maximize his capacity for power and his wisdom before he was knighted. Then once he was a jedi, he would push his limits even further in an effort to become a great asset to the Jedi Order. Looking about the structure as various people ran from place to place, he couldn't help but think how unlikely they would be going to war it was from a first glance. Yet underneath the slightly normal conditions, the stress and desperation was reeking. Cypher could sense it. Even before he was taught about the force he had a knack for telling what a person was feeling..making him one hell of an interogater. Cypher only had to listen to the conversations going on before he realized the truth that the Imperials may attack in the near future.
  19. Cypher had heard the distress call, calling back all Jedi to the Base. He was no aware of it's location, for the fact he was never there. RD had to guide him to the plateau of the new temple. Upon entering the atmosphere, it was quite present that the lower grounds were infested with some gaseous material. When Cypher did a quick scan it turned out to be uninhabitable. As he came in towards the landing ramp, it seemed that other Jedi had answered the call as well. It was good to be among his own again after such a long solitary training period. Bringing his ship slowly in and landing on the platform before the hangar, he quickly jumped out and entered through the back of the hangar into the main structure. As he wound down the halls, looking for the control center, he passed several different classes and training areas that were much different from the other temple. When he finally came to the large enclosure, he saw that a mass of people had already gathered. The man by the holonet seemed slightly irritated((Hou-Jo)). James slowly approached the man and said, "Master...i recieved the distress call sir, what is the problem?" Cypher had a long week. The hyperdrive mechanism on his A-wing went down, his Master had left him and disapeared, and now he had made his way to the academy after training in solitude for so long. ((4 months IRL)) His appearance must have been quite a one to see. His old rebel soldier outfit was torn across the torso and the pants had rips and without shoes. The dual sabers his master had left on the planet were hanging from the belt. The only intact thing left was the red silk cloth that is tied around his blind baby blue eyes.
  20. Cypher could feel the coldness of space seep into the cockpit. The airflow and heating system in the A-wing were faulty but still good enough for use. He had hardened himself to get used to the most uncomfortable situations though, so it didn't effect him. His mind was in other places...should he continue his training as a Jedi? OR would he attempt to find a Sith Master....which could lead to a dangerous situation? Cypher sighed in frustration over the matter. He began to set in the hyperspace drive when suddenly the indicator began to beep. Looking on the screen interface, he realized that the hyperspace drive had been disabled! What the hell? He had to find a nearby location fast before any problems arose. ((Sorry for the edit, but there was a change in plans.)) Cypher looked to his left at the strange remote planet that lay to the distance. "RD..where is that?" But before RD could respond, the alert came out over a built-in encrypted line. The message had alerted all Jedi to come back to the Jedi Base. Cypher was not sure of the new location...he wasn't even aware a new one had been made. RD unendingly made beeps and wounding noises. Cypher wasn't paying attention to him until he actually heard that the planet he was looking at was it's location. If Cypher had not been in his former Master's ship...he would never have gotten the alert.[/i]
  21. Over the next few weeks of his Master's extended absence, Cypher continued to train in solitude. He used the basic ethics of the force that the jedi master had taught him and focused on honing them into more powerful abilities that would better his progress in the real world. His strange power over the wind grew as his internal force grew. his abilities were growing with each time he used them. His force sight was becoming crystal clear and his mind sharp. Cypher had begun to use the force in his own movements such as jumping and other various maneuvers. He was still far from perfecting these techniques, but had made a good grasp upon it over the past long while. His hand-eye coordination had increased dramatically and his skills with his own style increased with practice sabering. Cypher now sits cross-legged next to the waterfall. His shirt was removed and folded neatly next to him on the stone. He was meditating, clearing his mind for this new day of training. His muscular body had become hardened from the training as well. He had to deal with various creatures that resided on this planet over this time as well. The scars on his back and chest showed from his mistakes. Yet without mistakes there can be no progress. His black monk style pats fluttered in the gentle wind breeze that cae from the waterfall impact to the pond. His red sash lay to his left a little, still tied to his waist. He had may episodes of tempting dark forces but easily turned them away. His father had told him well long ago when he was young that it was not for the future of this world to turn to such evil measures. He knew that someday he would make a powerful Jedi and would fulfill the Jedi's true purpose to stop the Sith and their endless raid upon the Universe. The clicking and churping of various creatures in the woods to his left caught his attention. James didn't turn his head but merely listened with his force sight for whatever disturbed the creatures.
  22. ((My net was going crazy on me and I had none for the past well...ever lol. We had to change services)) Cypher nodded in understanding of his Master's need elsewhere. When he had left, Cypher had already decided to work on strengthening his force abilities with his own movements. Jumping, wall-running, and other such abilities he had heard of from great Jedi throughout the Universe in stories told by strangers passing through the Cantina back on Mos Eisley. As Cypher walked back out through the way he came in, he noticed a strange smell of a sort of wet atmosphere coming from down the hall. He was drawn to the strange scent and made his way down until it came out into an opening of what seemed to be a lush jungle of some sort with a small pond below and a great waterfall flowing into it. He could hear the water splashing below and feel the moisture in the air. Using his force sight he made out the large trees ahead across a vast opening that lead down by the pond area. The hallway's walls fell back and just the paved path went out into a courtyard of sorts that was slightly overgrown with shrubs from a tropical origin no doubt. Slowly sitting cross-legged, Cypher began to focus on clearing his mind yet again. He never tried doing his normal tricks with a fully clear mind. When the darkness had filled his mind, the noise of the various creatures in the distance soothed him even farther into a mollifying calmness. As he slowly stood, he realized he could feel his own heartbeat slow down and the dew that rose from the ground seemed to run over his legs and arms, causing his body temperature to stay level. He started into a slow spin on his right leg and slid without making much noise except for a slight scraping across the dirt/pavement. Cypher then went into a normal backflip and saw that he could land it without trouble. He then proceeded into a sideways A-spin. When he finished he flipped forward, spinning into an invert and landing in a crouched position all without even using his force sight. When the force sight slowly came back yet again, he realized he landed right on the edge of the cliff that led down to the pond. He felt so relieved and safe here, as if nothing could hurt him, or was it just this new found ability?
  23. Cypher brought his mind back to square one. The dark recesses of his mind. He focused into the darkness once more, reaching out to grab a hold of the focus he once had. When he thought he had found the right state-of-mind he relaxed and held it. He was slowly allowing it to conjure itself up, as if the longer he waited the more powerful it became, like something that was being released from a door in his mind. He then felt the hairs on his arms and the back of his neck bristle as a gentle breeze started in the room. He then focused hard on it, now having a better grasp on the force, and held it at that gentle breeze controlling it. He changed the current to run up and around his Master so he would know he had it. He was beginning to sweat profusely however, and knew he had to stay calm. He then moves the breeze around and tried to focus it into an actual gust. He aimed it at the basket, and hit it, but did not even budge it. The whistling noise could be heard in between the weaves of the basket as the wind passed over and through it. He brought the same current around and suddenly his force sight kicked in. He could see the currents moving about him and he reached out, in a dazed and amazed state and seemed to bend the properties of nature as he twirled the air up around his arm and kept it there before closing his fist and stopping it. He holds the gentle breeze in the room.
  24. (Also I am curious...isn't this supposed to be Borealis? not Borleais?)
