The smile puzzled him. This wasn't the stern Sith Master that had started to train him all that time ago. She was...less...less something. Talrin coudln't quite place it though. Once she left he walked into the room she had laid out for him. He looked through the clothes and found some that fit and changed into them. Wheather or not he accepted her offer he was going to get some kool clothes out of it. Perhaps the day wouldn't be a total loss. He turned the proposal over in his head before the ship lifted off of the ground. He laid on his back on the bed, sending the collar around the room and making it do flips. "Honestly, what could be better then moving anything you want with an unseen force? Perhaps there is more, or just this. Being alone all the time does suck though. Hmmm......Travel alone, stay weak, and always be in a rut. ...Or, travel with a beautiful female, gain power, have anything I want at my fingertips." The collar found it's way around his neck with a simple thought from the "apprentice". He wasn't sure why but he knew before she gave him the choice that no matter what it would come down to this. The best he could do is roll with it for now. If things ever got to bad he could just run. Standing on his feet he slowly looked for the way to the control room. He might as well learn how to fly something like this. It could come in handy later. Once he finally made it to the cock pit he stood behind his master and didn't make a sound. He watched everything she did, studying it intently. He would use her as much as he could and perhaps not have to hurt her...maybe even a friendship would come out of it.

He stared at her for a while, silent while he thought. "Yes, I had wonderd but someone had told me you were killed. He also said something about you comming back, but only in passing was it mentiond." He walks slowly towards the door to the room but doesn't fully go in. "See...i'm not to sure about this now, it's been a while and i've developed on my own pretty well. I know it wont be like you could do....but...what do I have to gain if I become your little sith slave." He used the force to pull the collar to him and looked it over with a flicker in his eye. He let it fly around his hand a few times before sending back to its resting spot. "And to answer your question about missing you...yes..for the first few months you're all I could think about and I dont know why. I had the worst experience of my life during this time we have been apart. Although learning what I have has had it's rewards, I dont know if i would want to do it again. Be it with or without you. Why do you still want me as an apprentice?"

Stopping dead in his tracks he froze. No way...it can't be... Feeling this presence before and havint to find out for himself he made his way to the feeling. Thoughts raced of how this could be a trap or maybe it was the heat or his guilty conscience. He reached the ship and just stared. His emotions were very mixed. Was she really wanting to continue training him after such a long time. Hadn't she forgotten him or found someone better? With much hesitation he climbed the ramp and boreded the shit.

Finally, after what seemed like many hours, he answerd softly "I'm sorry...I can't. I can't even protect myself yet." He stood up slowly and wiped his face with the towel sitting next to the plate. "But...you're a Jedi. You even have your lightsaber. You have to help me." A smile flashed across his face. "No, I am not. I'm training to become a sith. I just...have had a little bit of a bad experince so far. So...you see...while I want to help I also want to just leave with my full stomach. Thank you very much and I will remember your kindness, at a later point that is." He turned on heel and walked to the door. A moment before the boys mans hand touched the knob, he felt hands wrap around his feet. "Please Talrin...You must help me otherwise they will kill me." The feeling came out of nowhere and so did the power. With his yell came the force. As the first letter of the word formed on his tounge, she flew back and was held to the wall as by invisible shackles. "NO! I do not have to do anything for anyone. Perhaps had you not told me that you were using me I could have helped. You were the first person in my life to actually do something nice." At this point her hands went to her throat and she turned darker, as if her air was cut off. "But no, you had to say something stupid. Why can't people ever do something nice for someone out of pure kindness. That would be way to simple. There always has to be Quid Pro Quo. Well...i'm done being used and I will be the one using people from this point on." At this point she went limp and he realized what he did. Her body lay on the floor, slumped over after falling down. With a tear running down his cheek, he walked out into the morning light and took a long walk. (sorry for how long it was since my last post. I'm finally out of training now and am at my unit. I work normal hours and will be able to make real posts for anyone interested in joining in a story line. Message me and once again sorry.)

Talrin greeted the next day with a smile and a stretch. He was roused from bed by a smell of something odd...a home cooked meal. He was in the middle of a dream that he had forgotton now, and the fumes opend his eyes. Two minutes later he was dressed and walking out to find the source of the wonderful smell. He was happy to see two large plates on the table. One end held Jeera and the other end was empty. "Sit down and eat before it gets cold. I figured you havn't eaten in a while so I guessed I could help you out." The smile that accompied the voice was a pleasent way to start the day also. Without hesitation he sat down and started eating, keeping it slow as to not seem rude. When he had cleared his plate he looked up for the first time. She was sitting there, moving the food around with her fork. "Is something wrong?" Talrin looked at her with curiosity. "If I didn't know better i'd say you want to tell me something that i'm not going to like." She noded slowly "You're right, cause...i've been kinda sucking up to you." Talrins mouth hit the floor. "Huh?" "I need someone who can protect me. I have some people I owe and they wont give me more time." About this time she breaks down in tears, Talrin sits there and just listens due to shock. "So...I figured if I was nice to someone they'd help me out...Please..." The look in her eyes was pathetic but he wasn't sure if he liked the idea or hated it. "I dont know what to say." he ponderd her question for a while in silence.

The speeder finally came to a halt outside a raggity looking cottage. Very slowly the bike came to a halt, trying to land inbetween some crates and other various forms of trash. About this time Talrin awoke and saw the above sourroundings. "Where are we?" The words drug out of his mouth slowly, still very groggy from the heat and being so physically tired. The cheerful smile from her face was an odd sight just as she turned to talk to him. "This is where you'll be ok for now. You obviously are not from around here. You're not prepared at all. So...I've got an extra cot for you to sleep on." With a quick hop and a smile she was off the vehicle and opening the door to her "place" Talrin felt kinda shocked about her response. Why was she being so nice to him? Was she going to rob him in his sleep or something. What is with all these people offering me a place to stay? Is it that bad around here or something? The force adept made his way off the speeder and followed suit, turning over everything in his mind. Once inside he realized that looks were very much true misleading. Inside was a elegant house. This had everything you could want. He even saw...a water fall. It was very small, but still. He could tell this Twi'lek had an absorbant amount of money. "How the hell can you afford this?" Yet again she flashed a smile "I manage." and gave a small little laugh. "Please, follow me." After a long and exciting tour of the place, she showed him a place to sleep. It was an extra bedroom with exotic fabrics on the four post bed. "Good night...by the way...the name is Jarra." Just after this she shut the door before he could respond. On the way to the bed, thinking hard, and still confused, Maeltalrin noticed the metal balls on the desk next to the pitcher of water. He examined them and found them all to be pure titanium and each had an element repersented on them. He levitated all four around him in an orbit and smiled silently. Laying down he let his force power fly, sending them around the room in amazing patterns and extremly high speed. It took all his agility, mental and physical, to make sure nothing broke or collided. After a while, he let them rest on the table next to the bed and fell asleep once again. Tomorrow he wouldn't sleep so much.

The heat of the day awoke Talrin from his dreamless slumber. When he slightly cracked one eye he saw a trace amount of light from a gap in between two of the rocks. It was day, very likely noon or so. "So...another person lead to another dissapointment...." The phrase was said with a frown on his face. But none the less he had to head back to town, he was almost out of supplies. Using his slowly building force powers, he moved the rocks and hurled them into the horizion as far as he could. When he looked around he realized he forgot about his speeder bike. How could something so crucial have slipped his mind? "Always a good time to practice survival skills...I suppose." after gathering his clothes, and doning what he needed to stop the sun from cooking him alive, he set off towards town. Every step brought more thirst and even more fatigue. He hoped and hoped that the dust could in the distance was a speeder or something comming his way. Be it by kindness or by his weapon, he would get back to town through that mode of transportation. He walked and walked, into the night when he finally caught some luck. A speeder slowed next to him. "What in the heck are you doing out here?" The Twi'liks words were caring in a odd way with a mothers scold to them as well. "Well...you know...takin a ride to meet a stranger who didn't show. And then loosing my speeder to the storm last night." He was trying to look at the female with more effort, but due to the sand in his eyes, all he could make out was her general outline. "Well...I normally dont make it a habbit to pick up strange men but...get on rest, i'll take you to town." Without a moments waste or time or more effort then needed, he was on the back, holding onto his savior. Just as quickly as she had showed up they were leaving. The female twi'lik and the asleep sith.

((OOC: Sorry about the length of my posting. I'm in the army and in school. My schedule is kinda messed up but i'm trying to hammer it down. Please bear with me. It'll be fixed soon as i'm getting a laptop and not relying on an internet cafe. Thanks for the patience.)) Talrin entered the arranged meeting area exactly when he was supposed to. The heat bearing down on him but his mind was way to curious as to what was going to happen. Once he entered he looked around, looking for the person. He spent at least two hours, finishing almost all his water in that time, even the extra, and then found shade under an overhang. "What the hell...why would someone lead me out here and then not show..." As he said this he saw a massive sand storm in the distance and figured he needed shelter. Using all of himself to move the rocks with the force, and draining what little energy he had left, shelter was made. He crafted a little rock hut. Talrin only left the smalest opening to get in and out and used all his clothes minus his pants to block the cracks and what not. He then waited for the storm to pass or his stranger to appear. In the mean time he began trying to experiment with force powers. He was especially curious about Phasing and teleportation. Even though the was force was boundless, this seemed way out of his reach, or anyone elses for all he knew. About Three or four hours after failing miserably and only managing to crack one of the rocks somehow, he realized that his sabre was pretty much useless right now. With a chuckle he layed it down next to him, wondering if he would ever be trained in it. While meditating and other things to try to help his force abilities, he slipped off to sleep.

The shake that awoke Talrin was quite an excited one. He opened his eyes to see a young lady, a very attractive one at that, holding something out for him to take. So he did with cautious hands he took the package and he opend it, eyes on her. After reading the message, he ponderd. "Who could possibly know that he was associated with her? This letter seems to be from someone who knows I have a connection to her. Luckily it's not that strong of a one....but on the other hand, I would like to continue my training. What can it hurt?" After putting the package in his robe pocket he turned to the female. "Where did you get this?" The questioning went on for several minuets before he realized he wasn't going to get anything. After a quick thank you and what little money he had left to spare, after planning his way out to this canyon, he gave her the excess. A quick drink of water later he was asleep again, forming a plan in his mind. The next morning he set out to rent a speeder, buy supplies for two days for two people. He felt he should bring a little something for the person inviting him. Once he ploted his course and E.T.A. he set off so he would arrive with 10 minuets to spare. Along the way he focused on mental training, gaining discipline. It was a long ride and much would be learned by the end.

No telling how much time had passed, but it had indeed been a bit. Waking up slowly, the boy found himself laying on a makeshift cot, laying in only his pants. The leg was ripped off of the one with the wound and coverd with a wrap and something that smelled like fruit. After looking around the hut, he saw an older lady walk in. She was hunched over but showed no signs of being burdend from the large bowl of water she was toting around. She placed it softly on the table next to him and revealed a sweet smile. "Good to see you awake little one. How are we feeling now?" As she said this, the matriarch took a wet rag to his face. "I'm...fine...." That was all the words he could muster considering the circumstances. How the hell did he end up here? The last thing he rememberd was a fight, a shot and running. Some stranger took pitty on him...but why? "How did I get here?" She smiled and shook her head. "I had you brought here by my son. He noticed you saving his sister from those two. You had just finished when he was comming out of a house. He chased after you, almost didn't keep up though. You've got quite a pair of legs." A few more moments of silence passed till he swung his legs off the cot and put them on the floor. He realized his leg was almost unnoticible. "Thank you, though I dont deserve it. But I must be off, I have things I must attend to." Talrin almost made it to his feet when a burly man pushed him back down and laughed slightly. "You saved Tessa's life, you must have dinner." A series of arguments later and much water, Talrin was sitting at the table, eating a meager meal. Although poor and almost homeless, these people extended everything they could to him. All because he felt a pang of guilt in the misconduct of someone else and had fun solving it. Perhaps There was more then Light and Dark side. Perhaps he could balance both. This was saved for later thought. His night was filled with laughter and good stories untill his lids became way to heavy to hold. The food nurished him greatly as he slept, not knowing what the next day would hold.

After a while of sitting in the place, the young boy was bored. He slowly stood up and made his way to the door where he gave the room one last look over and thenheaded out into the streets. Taking a nice walk was always fun, using the force in small ways to help out the gamblers that appealed to him for one reason or the other. After a while, the sith saw something that disturbed him greatly. Two men were snatching up a female and her child, from the looks of the age of the boy. Without a second thought Talrin pulled out his sabre, ignited and walked over to the crowd, using the force to push them off of her. "Why not pick on me? I'm a little tougher and have something more useful then a two second rush." He held up his cred chip. "So...why not dance with me and whoever wins gets a prize?" Talrin, finally realizing his weapon was lit, took a stance and readied for the attack. The first of the two men, meaty and very dull, charged him. Talrin made an easy flip over and attempted to take off the ankle. He realized it was only on a training mode and quickly changed it. "I should really pay attention to detail." With a quick turn and flick the other ankle that he intended was severd. The second, skinny and just as stupid from the looks, pulled out a blaster. "He he, hope you can dodge." Four shots were fired at him. The first was a miss, hitting a building next to him. The next one came straight at him but a lucky duck let it pass by and only hit a food cart on the other side of the street. The third one hit him righ in the left thigh and everyone could tell from the scream he let loose. "You filthy exucuse of living tissue!" And with so much anger he hurled his lit weapon at the chest of the attacker. The emotion that caused the action also brought the force up to guide it. The blade sunk right into the chest all the way up to the hilt. A small thud, a female running and screaming and the sound of a wounded person making a quick pace from the scene were all that were heard. The two bodys laying there, one dead and one passed out. The sith ran as best he could through alleys and around cornors looking for somewhere to rest and hide. Everyturn brought more people and more pain to his leg. Finally after running for what seemed ever, he fell face first at the feet of someone he couldn't make out. "Please...." and his eyes shut and he entered a world of darkend slumber.

The suprise that hit Talrin when the stranger sat down quickly subsided when the drinks arrived. He took it with a smile and a nod. "Thankyou, but why the drink?" After hearing what the person had to say the boy cocked his head. He shot a look of quizzical nature to the person in his company. "What do you mean confront the jedi? I didn't even know one was here....and before I go anywhere lets get to know eachother and your master...a little better. The names Maeltalrin, or talrin if it rolls off your tounge easier. It's odd how you just picked me out of the crowd and offer me a job to attack a jedi...what makes you think I even know the first thing about them other then common knowledge?" The rest of the drink went running down the throat after it was done being used to talk. Feeling extremly happy but trying to hide it, he orderd three drinks. After that Talrin sat back comfortably and put on his game face, keeping as plain as he could considering all the alchol in his system at the moment.

Talrins head spun around, looking for the person who must have been next to him talking. The voice came out so clear but no one was close enough to have said anything. "Secrecy is only needed if you have something to fear though. I have nothing to worry about I dont think. But thank you my friend...if you are indeed that. Please come out, I could use a friend right about now." The words were said outloud but in a manner that wasn't to noticible. The alchol had surely done the trick to make this experience much easier. The...for lack of a better term at the moment...force adept slowly made his way to his old chair and sat there, hoping to have the stranger show from the light. All the while, sitting there fiddiling with the glass with one hand and his cred chip in his other.

Talrin felt something odd...someone was looking at him. The eyes of the young one looked over the room quickly and almost fearfully. No one could have known him. He came here looking for something but not someone to spy on him. What was he worried about...this is what he was looking for...someone to look for him. Talrin slowly stood up and flashed a smile to anyone who might be watching and headed to the bar. After ordering what he wanted to drink he turned and faced the room, tapping his finger on his glass while the other fiddleed with a throwing knife in his other. Feeling the drink affecting him so soon after drinking it, he made a move that was kinda stupid "Hello everyone! How's everyone doin? I'm lookin for something to do...any ideas?" Only when he was done did he feel it was bold...but terribly stupid. Rolling with the problem was now his decision and he stuck to it.
