  1. The halls of the Hapes palace were elegantly designed, Ravyn noted as he walked through the halls. It was a shame that the Empire felt the desire to take over this world and bring to it nothing but their cheap laborers and mechanics. As he reached an open window, Ravyn turned his eyes to see the Darkwatch ships moving away from the system. "Soldiers, make your way back to the ship, and have the pilot fly to the 43 level of the palace, southwest quadrant." With that order, Ravyn ran towards the window and leapt out. He could feel the wind rushing against his scales as he fell. Most people would have thought him crazy, but to him this was merely a quick way to make it to his ship. Billowing out his cloak, felt his descent slow down and heard the whine of his transports engine. Angling his fall so he felt into the open cargo bay door, he tucked his body into a ball and rolled through the room. And within moments the ship was mere dust, vanishing into the vastness that was hyperspace.
  2. Kneeling down next to a wounded Imperial trooper, Ravyn slid the blood stained helmet from the head of the trooper only to see blood flowing from the corners of his mouth. Wiping the blood away, the Kaleesh Leautenant spoke gently to the young soldier. As he spoke he could see tears welling up in the Stormtroopers eyes. "Do not diminish your death with tears. While you have fallen in combat, your death was not in vain. Perhaps by easily allowing the fall of Hapes, your Empire will improve its forces. Train its soldiers better, learn to improve exisiting defenses. And if it is any consolation, you did manage to kill one of my men." "Sir, the bunker has fallen. We are now in control of the defenses. We are pushing back the remaining Imperial forces. And commander Dagon has requested you join him in the palace." "Right." Taking one last look at the dying trooper, Ravyn plunged his Lig sword into his chest, removing the last spark of life. Rising to his feet, the Kaleesh Lt found a small elevator, and took it the armory within the palace. Sliding his blades into their sheaths, the Black Legion soldier made his way towards his new superior.
  3. Blood sprayed across his Battle Mask, and a small smile flashed beneath it. It had been far too long since blood had stained the bone mask of the mammuu. It had been too long since he had spilt blood onto the ground, only to splash through it to spill the blood of another. All around him, he could smell the mist of blood, as he watched crimson rivers flow through the grass. Glancing to his left, Ravyn noticed a small door, that no doubt led to the bunker he was meant to infiltrate. "Black Steel, Squads 1 & 2, I want that door open in 2 minutes. 3 & 4, I want a defensive perimeter consisting of E-Webs, and rigged thermal detonators. If the perimeter starts being overrun, I want the bunker door locked down. Now get to it." As he planted his foot on the chest of a dead trooper, the Kaleesh Lieutenant, slid his rifle into a sling on his back and gripped the hilts of his Lig swords in both hands. In one fluid motion, he drew both blades and quickly plunged them into the chest of an oncoming solder. Blood sprayed across Ravyns chest, and crimson mist floated into the air as the blades were withdrawn from sheath of flesh. Spinning to his right, he flashed a blade through the leg of a trooper, only to plunge the second between the helmet and chest armor. Stalking towards the bunker, he did not even flinsh as an explosion rocked the battlefield. Ducking beneath the top of the door, the reptilian warrior smiled as all 180 Venom Trooper followed him into the bunker.
  4. Life was a funny thing. In every way, it treated everyone differently. Some people were meant to lead normal lives filled with mere work, play, and a simple life. But others were meant to be thrown into continuous action, their lives being threatened by their very existence. Ravyn was one of the people. Almost since his birth, combat had been something he was thrown into. Whether simple schoolyard fight, or giants wars meant to destroy whole planets, he was always on the front lines. And now he had been given command of the most elite of Imperial Troopers, only to throw them down the throats of the Empire. Ravyn opened his eyes as he felt the shudder that indicated they had landed. His pod had landed him at the exact point he had specified to launch control. He wanted to be as close to his destination as possible. While this would more than likely bring them into enemy fire earlier than he would have liked, landing farther away would give up the element of surprise and leave his soldiers in the open for attacks by artillery or any other weapons their opponents wilded. Turning to his troops, the Kaleesh soldier eyeing each one before removing his Battle Mask. Only before men who would die in his command would he reveal his true face. For they deserved to truly know the man they were serving. Scars ran the length of his face, from eye to chin, and from ear to ear. Before he had even launched, he had decided that these men needed to hear a speech from him. They were going up against the government they had sworn to protect, they needed to know this was for real. "I know some of you look down on me because of my species. I know some of you look down on all people that are not human. But I do not blame you for this. It is what has been drilled into your minds since your beginning days at the Imperial Academy. But there is now one problem with your ideology. You are no longer soldiers of the Empire. You are are no longer the elite of the Empire. You no longer hold the authority of the Empire. You have become something more." Glancing at the back rows of men, he saw some of the Black Steel officers exchanging fearful glances. Narrowing his eyes at them, he continued his speech. "These men are no longer your brothers. They are the enemy. They will not give you the courtesy of holding their fire should you be down. They will execute you in a style that I only find as repulsive, but it is their style so we will hand it back to them. If I see any of you men, attempting merely to wound these men instead of taking their lives, I will end your existence myself. But believe me, I do not wish to kill my brothers. For as of this moment, we are now brothers. We are now knights on a quest. We are now soldiers of the Black Legion." Behind the doors hissed open, releasing into the air the cheers emanating from within. Ravyn knew their war cry would soon find the ears of the Imperial Stormtroopers and he relished in their fear. He knew the cry of death would slow their movement, give them pause before firing each blast. Raising his rifle, Ravyn fired a slug into the chest of a Stormtrooper and charged forward. Without even turning, he knew his soldiers were performing their jobs. He could hear their blasters discharging bolts of crimson energy through the air, meeting only the resistance of Stormtrooper armor, before burning the skin of the man inside. The Empire would rue to the day Ravyn stepped foot upon their soil.
  5. Taking in the appearance of the young hunter sent to find him, Ravyn narrows his eyes. This man obviously held no respect for his elders, nor his superiors in combat. Perhaps he saw Ravyn as an inferior because of his species, but sooner or later, he would learn his place. "Yes I am Ravyn. I am the one you have been sent to collect."
  6. The darkness of the home was nothing to Ravyn. It was merely an asset to his hunt. As he heard the stairs above beginning to creak, a flash of light burst through the house. Turning his attention back to his prey, he heard the familiar sound of a slugthrower being loaded. Anger flashed trough his mind, and the young Kaleesh decided to quit this mission. Leaping through the still open window, he turned his attention to the ship that had landed. He decided to check it out. As he reached the top of mesa, the young Kaleesh emerged into the light and spoke in a hushed voice. "Who are you?"
  7. The darkness held no secrets for the young warrior. Early in life he had mastered the use of his thermal abilities. Each Kaleesh was born with thermal pockets next to their eyes, giving them the unique skills of seeing into the inferred portion of the world. As well as giving them an edge in survival, this trait also made them deadly assassins and hunters. Although the thermal sight was useful in finding ones prey in the cool forests of Kalee, and even in the duracrete homes of the cities, it could be fooled by a well prepared foe. But Ravyn was no amateur hunter. He relied on more than just his eyesight to hunt. He used all his senses to track, capture, and kill his prey. And now he had been hired to bring about the death of a single solitary man. Emerging from the underbrush, the reptilian warrior made his way towards the luxurious home and uses his thermal imaging to detect the signs of any laser beams that may make his entrance to the house difficult. Seeing a single solitary crossbeam protecting the window, he smiles beneath his battle mask. It had been far too long since the bone mask had felt the spray of blood across it. Entering the Serenno home, Ravyn darted into a dark corner and awaited the arrival of his prey.

His father was the most decorated warrior amongst his tribe, and his mother had long been known as the most caring Kaleesh among the tribes. Often when mothers died during childbirth, their young were sent to the tribe to be taken care of, mostly by her. Because of this, Ravyn was pushed harder than any other Kaleesh in the tribe to become a warrior. But there was one thing that kept him from being accepted amongst the other warriors-in-training: his scales. While most Kaleesh wore bright orange scales, Ravyn was born with a mutation. Black scales adorned his body, making him deadlier than most at night, often more sadistic looking during the day. At the outbreak of the Clone Wars, his father went missing. His mother told him, that his grief had taken over his heart and he had left to fight for the honor of Kalee. Not quite understanding what she meant, Ravyn reasoned his father had grown scared and fled the planet. For following two years, the young Kaleesh was forced to accept the beatings of other Kaleesh whose fathers joined the fight against the Republic. One night, his mother came to his room, and told him they were leaving. Grabbing only his fathers Hereditary Battle Mask, they made their way onto a small shuttle. That is the last thing Ravyn remembers before waking up in a cryotube. As he shook away the last effects of the cryosleep, he saw a dark shadowy figure passing from the room before a doctor moved in his line of sight and helped him fully awaken.
  9. The blow was not unexpected, but the power behind it was. She had grown stronger during their time apart. A strength that would be useful once he put her into a fighter. "I can not give you a reason to let me live. But I can put you back intothe cockpit of a star fighter again."
  10. "Hey Raj. Its been a long time." Hans gravely voice echod throughthe halls as he made his way toward Rajah.
  11. The sun began to fade as a small ARC-170 starfighter lands on a platform on Cloud City. Hazel eyes watched as the floating city slowly moved across his viewport. Cloud City's large engines had been activated and were pushing the beautiful city toward him. As Draco lands his ship on a small landing platform, he pushes forward on the glass shield and it slides forward, allowing him to breath in the air. Slowly amking his way toward the doorway leading inside, he stopsd to look around. This was the first time since his ascension to Captain he had actually stopped to look at the beautiful scenery Cloud City offered. Before he could reach the door, it burst open and the 12 other members of the Dragons stormed him, offering him drinks and congratul;ations. He could see in their eyes, the joy they felt at having completed another mission."So Cap, did they try and mess with your tattool ike the last ones?" "No, but who is to say they would not have tried if you wonderful hooligans had not showed up." "So where did you go after we freed oyour sorry butt." "I went to Naboo, as usual. To appreciate the beauty there once more. And then I sent her a message." "O." All the men slowly began to drift, knowing who he meant. They knew he meant Rajah, the one true love in his life. It was because of her he had become the stone-cold killer he was. He felt no emotion for the dead, because his spirit was there with them. When she had walked out on him, his soul had died. But it was in no small part thanks to him, she walked out. The former Captain had died on a mission, and a series of tests were being administered to find his replacement. In the end only two had remained, the lovers Han and Rajah. Han truly loved Rajah and wanted nothing more than to be with her forever. But he knew in order to keep her alive, he needed to control where she went witht he Dragons. And the only way to do that, was to become Captain. So the night before the final sim, he had rigged her simulator, to reduce her kills by half. After being named Captain, Han revealed this to Rajah, and she had walked out. Never speaking to him since. when he was the last outside the base, he sat down on a crate and looked out into the red-gold sky. In his mind he began to replay all the times he had Rajah had spent together. But that was in the past. He had hardened his emotions to the point where the only feelings he had were for death. He almost yearned for it. Sitting amongst the falling sky, he waited for her return.
  12. A small com unit activates and a holorecording begins donwloading onto Rajahs com unit. Rajah, this is Han. I know it has been awhile since our last meeting. If you still remember the last place we saw each other, head there. Draco out.

    Naboo

The sun had begun to set on the lonesome planet of Naboo as Han made his way to the ship. The grass crunched as his boots pressed against the frozen blades. Winter had arived on Naboo, and all those who could not find shelter would die from the cold. But due to the giving nature of the Naboo, most beings would find shelter amongst the city-dwellers. Upon reaching his ship, Han turns to the guards accompanying him. Using one of the cheesiest grins he could bring forth, he speaks once more before boarding his ship. "Wel lit is good to know when you're wanted. Let this be a lesson to you fellow heros, never try to help the damsel in distress. You always end up on the ground." Pulling the cockpit of his ship forward, he ignites the engines. He watches as the guards scamper back away from the white fire, fearing its searing heat. Angling his ship toward the heavens, Han pushes the throttle forward and his ship rockets toward the sky. When out of sight of the Gungan guards, Han fires a shot from his tail gun at the guards, which ignites both reptilian men on fire. Dialing the coordiantes, Draco enters hyperspace.

    Naboo

Han had always loved being on Naboo. While he had come from a planet full of pain, suffering, and slavery, Naboo had always been prosperous. Even intimes of war, the lovely planet had had remained stable. Only during a small invasion had the planets existence become questionable. Landing his small starfighter in a secluded spot, Han disengaged the engines and slid the cockpit shield forward. Breathing in the clean air, the warrior brought himself down to the ground and stretched. Although he was an exceptional pilot, and often felt more at home in a starfighter, than on the ground, he hated being in the cockpit. It always had the same effect on him, it took him back to his childhood in the mines of Kessel. A childhood filled with death and pain. As he closed his eyes to enjoy the feeling of the sun on his skin, he heard shouting coming from a large home. As he took a step toward the home he heard a womans voice echo through the hills. Releasing the strap on his holsters Draco slowly made his way to the home. As hje reached the doorway, he heard the woman exclaim that she was a creature ruled by her passions and apologizing for screaming. As he looked inside he saw a dangerous looking man towering above a beautiful woman. Leaning against the doorframe, King waited to be noticed by either occupant.
  15. The winter winds swept across the frozen desert of the planet Hoth. Screeching blizzards brought forth a deadly storm of ice and hail crashing down upon the Drowning Plains. This 500 kilometer stretch of ice was the master dangerous trek on the planet Hoth. Buried trenches, Wampa lairs, and other dangers awaited all but the most experienced survivalists. And very few of them made it even halfway across the frozen lake. Before the time of the Rebellion and the rise of the Empire, a small base had been constructed beneath the surface of Hoth. Its original purpose was to provide a refueling point for fighter squadrons as they made their way across the galaxy during the Clone Wars. But after several years, all the fighting moved away from Hoth and the base became a prison for those who had turned against the Republic. Now only 6 ARC-170 fighters remained, and 25 personel. All the prisoners of war had been released or had died serving their sentence. After waiting twelve years the prison finally received a new inmate, a lone fighter pilot by the name of Han Y'bal King. As they did to all their prisoners, the guards tok a liking to beating Han for information on any friends they could collect for their cells. Deep within the base, his grunts of pain could be heard as another session of beating occured. "Where is the rest of your little group? We know there are more than one of you, King." As the words left his lips, the lead guard threw a jab towards Hans gut which connected perfectly, bringing King to his knees. "Ok, fine, I'll tell you. They are in Uranus. Its a very big system, full of large brown asteroids. I am pretty sure they are there." A swift kick silenced the young pilot who fell to the floor bleeding from his lips. Licking the blood from his teeth, Han spit the contents opf his mouth on the shoe of the guard. Smiling with blood-stained teeth, Han turns tro him. "Resembles your mother don't it." Although he had been hit many times by thugs and other criminals, King had always been able to brace himself for the attack, but this time he was merely being slapped around, and by the good guys.Looking at his reflection in a piece of broken glass, he blinked when he saw his appearance. His hair had been tusseled to the point of wildness. Hisd body had almost taken the appearance of his soul. Wild and untamed. His normally smooth asnd clean skin was covered in bruises and scars. He knew these scars would take time to fade away, but he was sure they would. His only hope was that they had not attacked the tattoo on his back. "You are not funny King." "Not yet but it will be shortly. As a matter of fact it is funny now. See while you pieces of bantha fodder were attacking me, you were not paying attention to my vest. When that green light started blinking, that meant my crew had entered the same system as me. That means the cavalry should be coming right about now." At that moment the alarm sirens began to echo into the cell, and red lights began to flicker casting a bloody shadow over all occupants in the room. A smile graced Hans face as he threw his head back laughing. "Finally I can get out of here. I've been waiting a long time to do this to you guys. Watch closely." Jerking his arms to the side, the chains holding King to the floor snapped and pieces of metal slowly fell to the floor. Rising to his feet, Han began to swiftly dispatch the guards. Seconds later they had fallen to the ground and King was wiping his hands on his pants. Han knelt next to their leader and patted him on his back before leaving. "And yes your mom was very helpful last night. She eased many of my pains." Quickly taking his exit from the room, King stopped for a mere moment to assess the situation. Quickly realizing he would need his weapons the young warrior slid into the armory, and slid two DL-44 pistols into his holsters. Strapped his staff launcher to his arm, he grabbed his flechette launcher and began to leave before turning around. A shiny new weapon had caught his eye and he stareed at it. Reaching for the weapon as a child would a piece of candy he spoke silently. "Daddy must have." The energy bow had been developed two weeks before his capture, and Han had been waiting to test out its capablities. Although he knew he could have escaped from the facility at any point in time, he wanted to give his friends a piece of the action, and he knew they needed some new stories to tell. As the young pilot rounded a corner, his eyes widened as he saw two guards barreling downthe hallway toward him. His eyes turned to the rifles they were carrying and he backstepped into the previous hallways to await their execution. Drawing back the string on the bow, he listened to the sound of their feet drawing closer, and finally released the string, and felt a rush of energy as a emerald bolt of energy ripped through the air and slammed into the first guard, only to exit the back of the second. "WOW." "Hey Draco, you there." Tapping the flashing dragon symbol on his vest, Han spoke to his Lt. The vest had been designed by their tech monkey, Ace to alert each other when other Dragons were there. "Sea Dragon, I'm all ears." "Head to the hangar and grab the Midnight, we need to scram." "See you in hyperspace." Releasing the com unit, Draco began to run to the hangar. His muscles began to burn due to lack of exercise over the last few weeks, but the squadron leader knew it was good for him. Whenever he was not sleeping or flying, he was exercising, just in case he ever needed to pummel some creep for berating him. As he arrived in the hangar, several curses flew from his mouth. A large rafter had fallen on top of the Midnight Dragon and smashed the cockpit to pieces. "Now what could go wrong. O well, I guess I need to turn a from upside down." Making his way to the nearest ARC-170, Han saw that it had been modified to give the pilot more room. Instead of a second pilot seat, an astromech droid now was positioned behind the pilot to resemble an X-Wing, the descendant of this ship. Pushing forward on the throttle, King watched as the hangar became a distant memory. A treasured memory he would long keep as his own. He had always enjoyed running from the law, and escaping made it particularly sweet. Especially when you were down a hundred to one. aiming his ship away from Hoth, he sent a com to his second in command, before blasting into hyperspace.
