  1. Sirvani rolled her eyes. "Right." Just then, out of nowhere, chunks of flaming debris shot up from the ground north of the temple, causing a curious 'fireworks' display. Unbeknownst to either of the Sith Masters, at the site of the launching, a funny little man with purple hair ran out of the woods, spun around in a circle until he fell down, yelled "YOIYUE!!", then disappeared. Meanwhile, Sirvani had been digging around in the handy-dandy miscellaneous stuff drawer that every house comes complete with, and had found a hardened gummy ring. She shrugged and handed it over to her former master to investigate. OOC:...I'm bored stiff...so sue me...
  2. "Indeed," Sirvani replied. "I could see problems arising if it belonged to...say Lord Ryu....or even Lord Montar." She smiled at that. Montar and John had always been friendly rivals, and it had been too long since she had seen him. He definately merited an invitation...
  3. Sirvani shook her head. She picked up Emily, who settled down rather quickly after that, and rolled her eyes. "Being a parent certainly keeps you on your toes..." she muttered. "Anything destroyed from that missile, John? That is, anything we'd lament being rid of?"
  4. Sirvani was just about to make a smart comment about the ewoks when Emily bit down on her lekku. "Ouch!!" she cried, although more from startlement. She quickly stepped back, removing the appendage from her daughters' hands. She wrapped the lek around her neck, and put on a scolding face. "Emily, be nice. Don't hit people, and don't bite them, either." She looked wryly up at John. "Well, it seems that she's beginning to get some teeth."
  5. She listened carefully, then nodded. "Alright...it's good to know. Thanks." She put a hand on his arm. "And it is good to be prepared...especially considering there will be Jedi and Sith alike here in a few weeks."
  6. Half an hour later, she had come up with a few more names, and had begun the process of sending out invitations. It was time-consuming work, but the Twi'lek didn't mind it that much. She sat back in her seat and stretched. It was interesting to her to see how many people they had come across in what seemed to her like only a few short years. She wasnt inviting anyone from her past life...before she found the Sith, she didn't belong anywhere, didn't have a home, and definately didn't have friends. She had been very hard, callous, and cutthroat back then, she remembered. But then, she had had to be. It was necessary for survival in Coruscant's underlevels. She had worked at various clubs and bars, trying to save up enough money to get transport off of the city-planet. It hadn't been horrible work, but at the same time, she had hated it. The jeers, the flinches...She had yearned for something more. And then came that fateful day when she discovered she was Force-sensitive. And everything had changed. She remembered being whisked away to the Sith Academy, meeting Tarrian, and being assigned to John as his apprentice. She remembered how frightened but resolute she had been when she first met him, and smiled at the memory. She had been determined to make him proud of her...and saw through him a way to change everything around her to fit her desires and passions. So long ago, yet it seemed like yesterday to her. Back then, she was a lonely Givin, unsure of her newfound power and eager, yet cautious of her new master, with no idea of what lied ahead, but with a mind full of visions of power. Now, here she was, a Sith Master, fiancée, Twi'lek, and mother. Her previous dreams were gone, shaped and matured by time and events, and replaced by new, deeper ones. She had met many people, and many of them she considered friends or at least allies. She had mastered her own apprentices, and seen them take on apprentices of their own, carrying on the tradition handed down through millenia. It was strange, Sirvani mused, at where the twisted path of life lead you.
  7. Sirvani shook her head, amused at the girl's happy-go-lucky disposition. She nodded to John. "I'm going to get some work done," she said, and made a graceful exit from the room. She took a few minutes extra to take the long way around to the office, just relaxing, and enjoying her home. It had so many memories for her, and was the only place in the galaxy she felt she could just relax. She eventually arrived at the office, and sat down in the chair. She took out a datapad and began making a list of people to send invitations to. Gavin, Orik, Mayy and their apprentices. Tethyn, Horus, Black and their apprentices. Kakuto Ryu Jareth Tarrian Darla Alora Kheldar Andon Colos Jaina-Jade Skywalker Ronin Wartide Zara Nargal Talon Flick... The list went on, Sirvani thinking back on all of the people she had met and trained and learned from...and the ones that John had.
  8. Sirvani tried to hide her laughter with a cough, and was just barely successful. She picked Emily up. "We don't hit people, Emily," she told the girl. "It's not nice." Setting her down again, Sirvani turned to John. "I suppose we ought to teach her manners at least." She examined the small gash on his head. "You'd better get that patched up," she said. Part of her found this whole parenthood thing extremely amusing. She knew she was failing miserably at it. Here she was, a Sith Master, telling a little human girl that it "wasn't nice" to hit people. It certainly was a far cry from how she had spent the rest of her life.
  9. OOC: It went great, thanks for asking. I had a blast...and now I'm suffering from a sort of withdrawl.... Yeah, we should take this to PMs....*shrugs* IC: The twi'lek smiled. "I'm curious to see how fast she picks it up as well. She is so strong with the Force...it should come fairly naturally, I'd think." She joined the two of them on the floor. "Yeah, we probably should ask Kheldar first. You can take care of that...and I'll try to brainstorm a written list of who merits a direct invitation." She was looking at Emily the whole time, and watched to see her reaction to the floating block.
  10. Sirvani laughed at that. "If she takes after you at all, she will have the room on fire. We'd better watch her more carefully from now on." She picked Emily up, then wrinkled her nose. "But for now, someone needs a changing..." She took her daughter over to the changing table, and after a few tries, managed to get the messy diaper off of Emily and a fresh one securly in place. That job completed, she let Emily play on the floor with some blocks. "We should send out invitations," she said, glancing at her fiancé. "When should we tell them to come here?"
  11. Sirvani smirked as John's fingers were smashed into the side. "Apparently, the former." She reached down and hoisted the girl up and out of the crib. Placing her on the ground, she grabbed Emily's hands and held her up. "Wanna try to stand on the ground?" she asked her. Emily pushed up with her legs, and with Sirvani to help her balance, stood fairly easily.
  12. Sirvani twitched her eyebrow as she, too, listened. "I...it certainly sounds like it," she replied. "I didn't think humans learned to stand that fast. She's only a few months old." She picked herself up off of her fiancé and brushed the dust off of her now somewhat tattered clothes. Shrugging, she headed inside, knowing John would follow. She made her way up to Emily's room and slowly peeked in. Emily cooed at the sight of her 'mother' and chuckled to see her surprised expression. She was indeed standing up in her crib, and Sirvani moved over to her. "Emily, you're getting big." The girl chuckled and cooed again.
  13. She smiled at him. "I agree. Nevertheless, there are several people that merit direct invitations into the wedding party." She pulled him close to her once more and kissed him gently. "I'm sure Kheldar could do the ceremony. He seems to be certified in everything in the galaxy." Sirvani paused, her lek twitching in thought. "Is there anything special you want to do with decorations? This place really makes a statement of it's own without them, but a few here and there might be nice." OOC: Thanks...I will pretty much be taking the next week off, so I'll talk to you again when my life is 'normal' again.
  14. Sirvani nodded. "We can send out invitations. Brainstorm a list of people you want to invite, and I can comm them and the ones I come up with an invitation. As for the wedding party...what do you think?" She paused. "To tell the truth, I only know two or three people I would feel comfortable asking to be bridesmaids." She smiled down at him. "As to who would perform the ceremony, I don't think I know anyone who is certified to be able to do it. Do you?"
  15. Sirvani nodded. "I'd like to have it here. It would be nice. Besides, this place needs some life to liven it up a bit." She hunched her back, bringing her face near his. "There are several people we need to invite...then on top of that a bunch of people that could merit an invitation. I also think we should allow the guests to bring whoever they like with them. That'll make it a nice, big, crazy wedding." She grinned. "As long as we can keep them all from killing each other for a few hours." Her mind flipped to another idea. "We could have the reception at the Golden Link Casino, if you want, and the ceremony here. Although that might be difficult to arrange the transportation. Maybe they could just cater the food or something."
  16. She lay there for a moment in that position, her passions roaring. In that moment, she got a flashback from a long time ago that took place right where they were now... "Personally, I think that's good," she said, echoing something he had once said to her. A quick move flipped her up to a sitting position on his chest, and she gave his mind a gentle nudge of affection. "When is the wedding, my love?" Her tone was much more serious, and he could tell that she was ready to talk about it and make some real plans. We've waited too long...so much has happened and changed since we met, and it's time to make this official, she thought. Aloud, she added, "And I really want to belong to you."
  17. Her own eyebrows raised, and Sirvani bit her lip flirtatiously as she rose from the ground, rubbing her behind. She reached over and brushed the dust off of John, then just as quickly turned the touch into a shove. Using the Force to enhance her speed, she pun around and placed herself right in the middle of his stumble, catching him. "Beat up enough yet? Do you surrender?" she asked, knowing that his very large ego would be...offended by the remark. She held him there for a moment as he leaned heavily into her arms, her lek twitching.
  18. She stood, the peices of cloth fluttering to the ground. She glanced down at herself. "Ah, returning the favor, eh?" She grinned almost wickedly at him. "You always did have a flair for exaggeration..." She leaped forward, alternating between raining blows on him with her fists and blocking those he returned with. She had heard it said once that battle was the truest form of expression, and had never until now really believed it. But the quirky comments, and even the 'style' of the fight not only reminded her of the earlier days of knowing him, but of how much she loved him now. Her heart beat rapidly in her chest as she fought, letting everything else slip from her mind but the here and now, and the physical, mental, and emotional intensity of the battle. She slipped close to him, her body pressing against his, and gave him a quick kiss before unceremoniously dumping him to his feet once more with a quick kick.
  19. Sirvani smirked outwardly, but inwardly stored up the comment. Sometimes a woman just needed to be told again that the man she loves loves her back, and Sirvani had felt that way recently. So she took the compliment and stored it until a better time came to fully appreciate it. She bent low to the ground and swung her leg out for a sidesweep. When John leaped over it, she turned and brought her fist into his stomach. With a few quick flurries, she backed him up into a rock. The Force called her sword to her, and a quick careful slash later, the part of his robes that were covered in spit-up fluttered to the ground. She tossed the sword to the side again, admiring the muscular arm that protruded from the torn shirt. "Now I can fight you properly..."
  20. She flipped back out of his scissor-hold, and rolled, taking her off to the side. As he stepped towards her, the twi'lek opted for a simple, palm-up jab to his nose, although she stopped short of breaking it. She then followed him back, reaching out and tripping him once again while he was reeling from the jab. This time, however, as he rose again, she tackled him, grabbing his arms and holding them down, then shoving him out from under her and to the side. Sweat trickled down her face, which was held in the expression of half-determined and half-amused.
  21. OOC: Trying to break your leg IC as well as OOC, eh? Those meds must be something. IC: She laughed aloud at his choice of weapon. "Warrior monk John Skywalker? Somehow I can't see it." She tossed her blade aside. "It's really not a fair fight, at least to me." Sirvani took the offensive, charging at him, intent on knocking him over. She knew he was a lot stronger physically than her, but looked forward to the challenge. She bent her shoulder, sending him flying back with an 'oof'. She then rolled and hooked a leg under him when he stood again, sending him to the ground again.
  22. OOC: No worries. That is totally understandable. I hope your leg heals well. IC: Sirvani raised an eyebrow mischieviously. "Maybe that is what I was implying..." She turned away before she could see his expression and took out an older traditional Sith sword. She enjoyed blades, and when the blade was metal rather than energy, it was a special treat to use. The two made their way outside to the cleared dueling area in front of the Temple, leaving the baby monitor on in case Emily woke up. The weather was warm, and the almost-hot air carried with it wafts of something rotting in the forest. The Twi'lek Sith Master turned, and brought her blade into a guard postion, letting John make the first move.
  23. She laughed at his statement about being normal people with superpowers. Then the Twi'lek only laughed harder when Emily threw up on her father. The Sith Master picked up her daughter. "Now, now, Emily, there must be an easier way to tell him that you don't like his outfit." The baby cooed at her mother's laughter, then yawned widely. "All right, I get the hint. You didn't get your nap because your daddy so rudely interrupted you." Sirvani laid the girl down on the bed. Surprisingly, the child quickly slipped off to sleep in a matter of minutes, displaying a maturity beyond her age. Sirvani raised her eyebrows and motioned for John to follow her out of the room. "That was surprisingly easy. I have the feeling she will be a very good baby." Sirvani changed her mood. "Since you need a change of clothes anyway, how about a little duel before you change? No sense in getting two outfits dirty." She asked it in an innocent, sincere tone, that she couldn't hide the twinkle in her eye. "I'm getting out of practice."
  24. Sirvani smiled at his joke. "I've been waiting for this for a long time..." She didn't need to say she was excited and, if the word could be used appropriately for a Sith Master, almost giddy. "Let's have it here at home," she said. "The ceremony at least. And we have to invite everyone...everyone I know, everyone that you know, and all of those people's friends. This will be one crazy, massive wedding." She grinned. "Of course, we'll be there, so that's a given no matter how many people we invite."
  25. Sirvani stepped back, her hand staying in his. "Really?" Her tone was disbelieving, like she couldn't believe that they were finally going to go through with this. "Really?" she said again, her eyes shining with cautious, but deep joy. "We've been talking about it for so long....and so much has happened...I..." She was about to say she didn't think they were ever going to get married, but stopped, realizing she wouldn't have meant it. She had known, all along, that someday, she would be his wife. But just hearing him say it...made it almost too good to believe.
