Absurd Apprentices??? Strange Students Bizarre Beginners That's if we're going with the matching sounds Impractical Trainees Screwy Pupils Batty Beginners Give me time (and a Thesaurus) I might come up with something better. Been out of it a little bit, kinda rusty.
  5. *Takes a bow* Thankyou, Thankyou. I love you all, JNet's great. Try the veal.
  6. Yes, I was messaged and reminded of my duty. And yeah, the Easter Long Weekend played a bit of havoc with us at work. We all wanted a 4 day long weekend and didn't want to come in on a holiday. So we had to make sure that all of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and most of Tuesdays work was done and sent to the papers. Overtime galore. xmas is the same. Anyway, as you all keep pestering... here's MORE!!!!!!!!!! ____ Travelling with Mel was quite an experience. Hearing old tales of the Flirt Queens. The fun that they had. Ami was actually starting to enjoy the old Queens company when they came across a disastrous scene. A Farley transport stopped in the middle of nowhere. The Farley's spread out around the vehicle. Mel, Ami, Rijos and Keerow got out of their small transport and looked around. "I can't believe it. I only saw this bunch yesterday when I bought the two new slaves." "And why do you think they targeted this group??" Ami looked at Mel. "Easy. Someone who thought some non official website had better information than the real official website." Mel shook her head. "If Navygal wants her way, she'll be looking for the trail of cushions." Ami stared at Mel, a stray memory flickered to her mind. Keerow, sitting in the back of the transport, throwing cushions out behind them, explaining to Rijos she wanted to see them fly. "All cushion trails come from Keerow. If they follow the trail that will lead Navygal back”¦ Home." "Ami." Mel called after the girl as she raced towards her transport. "You can't do anything." Ami arrived back home only to find the burnt and bloodied remains of stormtroopers. "Unlce Adi!!! Aunt Kiara???" "Over here sweety." Came Kiara's voice. Rounding a corner of the house, she came onto a scene of strangeness. There was her Uncle Adi, cushion in hand, hitting an imperial. "So far," Adi said. "We know his name's Kheldar and he works for Navygal." "Is there anything else you know??" Aunt Kiara shrugged. "We'd have to take the tape off his mouth for that." Ami nodded. "umm, well”¦ I found Othee Wan Mellina." Adi stopped hitting Kheldar with the cushion. "Oh. Well then. I spose she's told you abut your mother then too." Ami nodded. Adi and Kiara exchanged looks. "We'll see you later then." Kiara said. "We know we can't stop fate. Besides”¦ if you stayed”¦ we'd have to share the cushion with you, and there's only one cushion to hit this guy with." With a heavy heart, Ami headed back to the others. When she got there, she told of what had happened with her Aunt and Uncle. "There was nothing you could have done." Mel said comfortingly. "Had you of been there, they wouldn't have given you a go with the cushion anyway." "I want to go with you to Planet Sillyness. There's nothing for me here." Mel nodded and they all piled back into the speeder and headed for Modhead. *** Commander Nahstaa stormed from the cell. "She is impossible. She is too strong." NavyGal tapped her foot. "So you lost as well did you??" Nahstaa nodded. "Perhaps a game of Monopoly???" Mike shook his head. "Who made this deal with her?? Who is the idiot who made a deal that if she won, she can keep the secret, and if she lost she would tell??" A small squeak from the back was made. "You're fired." Mike boomed. *** The land speeder glided into Modhead. Ami piloted with such skill around the pedestrians and large animals roaming the spaceport. As she neared the central parking lot she was stopped by some troopers. "Mel, what'll we do?? We'll be caught." "Calm, patience. Watch." The speeder came to a halt and one of the troopers came to stand next to them. "Are these your slaves???" "Yes." Ami replied. "How long have you had them??" "About three or four seasons." "Let's see some identification." Mel, sitting next to Ami, leant across to the trooper. With a quick wink to Ami she gave the man a smile”¦ and some”¦ err”¦ chest. "You don't need to see her identification." The trooper was mesmirised by the flirt queens”¦ err”¦ smile. "I don't need to see her identification." "But you can have my number." The trooper wordlessly took the flimsiplast that Mel had held out to him. He stared at it for a few moments, his expression hidden by his mask. "Can we move along now??" The trooper gulped. "You can move along. Move along." With one last smile, Mel sat back and Ami guided their speeder into the nearest free parking bay. "Wow, I thought we were toast for a moment then. I'm surprised Keerow didn't spill anything and give us away." Mel smiled. "There is much for you to learn my young apprentice. Such as, the power of the flirt can have a strong influence on the weak minded." "Weak minded???" Ami asked. "Yes. They call themselves Men. Strange species Men are. And another thing you must learn." Ami listened carefully. "You can control a psycho, if you know how." Ami looked back at Keerow. Come to think of it, she had been quiet for quite a while now. "How did you do it???" "I took her Corranypoo doll and held him for ransom." ***
  7. Hey, I'm building up to something. But I do try to put some fun in each piece.
  8. Yeah, but if everyone here had everyone's phone number... I WOULD NEVER GET ANY PEACE!!! Plus I would have a really big phone bill. But emails are nothing. I love getting emails... I get bored when Im at work (well, on the not so busy days) and then I send people emails and catch up on gossip. Makes me feel loved. ____ They all arrived back at Mel's place, and took seats on the small chairs that inhabited the room. Rijos looked awkward with his knees around his ears. "So... nice place you got here. May I ask who furnished it???" "Oh, an old friend of mine. She used to teach all the little kiddies in the Old Republic Flirt Academy. And this was the only furniture left for me." Mel said seating herself down on her own chair. "So, you were the one looking for me?? Why may I ask??" "I have a message for you. And... this." Rijos pulled out the datachip. "The message comes from a lady on our ship. She was coming here to come and see you, she needs help. But we were taken by NavyGal. She wants you to go to the planet Sillyness. Meet her Father." Mel sat there in thought for a moment. The Planet Sillyness. There was only one person there that could possibly be asking for her... SullyStyle. Big-Sully-Style. Then she looked at Ami. "You must come with me... if you are to learn about the power you hold." Ami stood up. "Go with you?? I can't. I'm late home as it is, Uncle Adi will be panicked about me." "But you must." Mel insisted. "You need to harness your power. I'm getting too old to take on life, you must help me." "Look, I wish I could help you. But if I don't get these two back I'm going to be in for it." Mel sighed. "So be it. Your mother was just like that as well, to start with. But she came around and followed our ways." Ami stopped. She turned and glared at Mel. "My mother??? No. My mother was nothing like you. She wasn't into this solitude and drab clothing. She was a beauty queen. Stunning and had all the boys following her. And then she ran off with some new guy leaving me with Adi. I don't like my mother. I wish she was like you." "You Uncle Adi hasn't been telling you the whole truth then..." Mel took a deep breath... it will be hard for the child. "You're mother”¦ Was a flirt Queen." Ami stopped. Her heart thudded in her ears. "A Flirt Queen??? No way." Mel nodded. "I'm afraid so. She was a great fighter during the wars. Tactical when using the Flirt. I taught her all I could. But, I could not control her. She went and flirted with danger”¦ that's when she”¦ passed on." Ami could not hear this. "No." it was all too much. The Flirt Queens were powerful women who used their power to gain control. They were used to get top secret information. The mere presence of a flirt Queen calmed disputes. And at other times started fights. But that was the power of the Queens. "Speaking of your mother." Mel said interrupting Ami's flash of thoughts. "I have something for you. It was your mothers. She wanted you to have it when you were old enough." Opening up a nearby wooden chest, Mel rummaged through till she found what she was after. Pulling it out she held it up for Ami to see. "Wow." Ami whispered. "It was your mothers ball dress. She wore this to party's when she was working as a Flirt Queen." Mel handed the dress over to Ami. Ami held it delicatley out in front of her. Then, with giddy excitement, held it up against herself. "How do I look??" Mel looked at the young lady. Tears welled up in her eyes. "like your mother”¦ WAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ami smiled. All girls dreamed of the old days when Flirt Queens were everywhere. To meet one and become one”¦ that was the stuff of fantasy. Mel, finally getting herself under control looked at Ami. "You should come with me. If you are to learn the ways of the Flirt." Ami's heart jumped at the thought. But another part of her stopped. It was getting late in the afternoon now. And her Uncle Adi would be worried about her. "I should be getting home now." "Nonsense. You got plenty of time. It's barely even mid-morning." Ami only sent a glance towards Mel. She needed to get home. But still, spending time with Mel”¦ learning about her mother”¦ "I can take you as far as Modhead. But then you have to find your own passage home." Mel nodded. "You must do what you think is best, of course." The two stood up and motioned to Rijos. "Come on, we're leaving now. Get keerow and let's go." Rijos nodded. "Keerow, come on”¦ Keerow??" "Mum, I don't want to go to any academy. I'm not a Jedi." Rijos found, under a pile of cushions, a sleeping Keerow. "Keerow, we're going." "Force sensitive?? No. Find LukiepukiebucketoflovehandsomerthanhisdaddyAnakin." "KEEROW!!!" *** "This is a dangerous position we have ourselves in." Darsha Assant said from across the table. A meeting had been called by the Big Moff. All the commanders had been gathered in this room, and now they were awaiting the Moff's presence to begin this meeting. "Dangerous for you, Commander Assant. Not for this battle station." Commander Vipersecythe replied. Assant scowled across the table. "We shall see. Roll the dice and we shall see." Vipersecythe grabbed the dice and with an evil smile, rolled it down the table. "What is it??" Commander Skye Organa crawled onto the expansive table to see the dice clearly. "A six. And that would put you”¦ HAHA! In the Imperial Senate!!!!" Assant Smiled. "I believe that's my game, Commander." Vipersecythe slammed her fist into the table”¦ hurting only herself. "The Imperial Senate Game sux!" "The Imperial Senate," Said a new voice. "Will no longer be of any concern to any of you. I have just received word from the Emperor that you lot spend too much time playing that rediculous game. And from now on, it is to be disbanded." Moff Bounty Hunter Mike walked into the room, followed by a bouncing NavyGal. "But, how are we meant to keep ourselves entertained without Imperial Senate??" "The regional governors will have direct control over the cable networks. You can keep entertained that way." Darsha scoffed. "And what of the battle plans we use for the game??? What if the rebels have managed to gain a copy of them??? Then the intergalactic Imperial Senate Championships will be thwarted. The Rebels could find a weakness through our defence and win the holiday to Naboo." Vipersecythe smiled at Assant. "There is no way they can find a weakness. Our defence is too extensive. Our players are the top of the Imperial Academy. They have been in training for the past 6 years. There is no way we can lose this championship. I assure you, Commander, we will get that Naboo holiday. Nothing is more persuasive than our players." "Don't be so self assured, Commander." Navygal growled from behind Moff Mike's chair. "No amount of persuading you're trainees do can even come cloe to the power of persuasion of the Flirt." "Don't try to frighten with your old outdated flirtatious ways Navygal. They won't work on me." DV said. Navygal took a step back. She held her hand up to her heart in an imitation of being hurt. "I'm hurt." She squeaked. "Stop it, both of you. This bickering and carrying on is pointless. Now, we have the rebel Princess. I suggest we try and get some information from her." "But sir, Moff Mike." Skye Organa spoke up. "We have all tried to get information from her. None of it works. Even when we tried tickling her. That did not work.”
  9. I got really lost in my own stories. Towards the end there I had 6 on the go at once. I know people loved reading (and I certainly loved writing) all about the Death Strikers, and Aranshe, and Maaerah on top of the Gathering series and A New Rope. But I don't have the time enough to be writing in all of them. I want to get these ones done and finished and then I will be posting Maaerah and As Our Paths Cross. I want to get them all finished this time around. And I will take in to account the number of characters in a single scene. I've actually been reading through it and even I've been lost and seen that I lose characters and add others to the group twice. I do need to make some changes to it, and I will do that as I am writing the new Gathering War. Thankyou. I've followed the same format in Gathering War. It may not be as big an impact as in Gathering, but I still want new readers to see they are connected in ways. And I do agree with Ami, there are some good stories coming through. But admittedly, they do have this tendency to be serious. Interesting, but serious.
  10. I am planning on starting up one of the Gathering stories... OR - BRAINWAVE!!! I'll post both, but as a double story thing. Like, if you go through Buffy and Angel they kind of match up in some episodes, that's what I will do with the Gathering series!!! Coz The Gathering War didn't really get very far, so I might start that one again and then run it alongside Gathering and have them intertwine, say we meet someone who is suspicious in Gathering, and at the same time we are meeting them fore the first time in Gathering War... I could do them together, but some of the story lines will go off on tangents, and besides, some poeple may enjoy the more lightheartedness of Gathering, and some might like the dark, wartime epic of GW. OOOHHHH!!! Plans... Bugger, now I've just committed myself to this. More will posted... later. And It's nice to hear that happiness comes in the form of an update. LOL.
  11. I love the sig it looks awesome. And I don't mind looking like a noob, it makes all the actual noobs wonder who the hell I am with 70 posts and a heap of oldbie respect. MWAHAHAHAHA!!!! I love to spin them out . Anyway... HOLLY!! So nice to know you are still around, and I will be sending you pm's, maybe not for hassling to post, but perhaps the occassional hello. And I haven't minded coming back. It is strange coming back and trying to see the site as I used to, mainly these days I post just to keep in touch with old friends... as long as they too are still posting. But things have really changed. I mean, there is supposed to bo some sort of Aussie Invasion, but there are so few threads in Community that I can really relate to. So I've given up on any major legal post inflation weekends. But I still love coming to Fanfic and adding to my stories and getting them finally completed. And it's nice to see so many people are coming back here to read some fun stuff. Maybe we will start seeing some other fun stories. *hint hint* And there is more... you only have to keep reading. _____ ”œAmi? AMI!”
  12. It all depends on where I am posting from, I have all my fics on one computer and when I am posting from either work (like then) or from Bunbury (like now) I cannot post any story coz I just don't have it. But I will post some story when I am on the comp this week... Somtime.
  13. It's potter vs Vader isn't it... tell me I'm right, PLEASE!! However it goes, it sounds great. A very catchy beginning and a kinda mystery in it. Looking forward to more.
  14. Well then tell Holly we need the old FanFic crewers back and working. If I had to come back and post again, then so can she. And tell her how much we miss her and need her... maybe (MAYBE) that might work. And I know Nat, you did very well in hassling me... I even think at one stage you got Aubz to give me a message from you. It was funny, no one else knew what we were on about.
  15. De-Psychofication is possible, but it leaves the psycho with extreme scarring, mentally and physically. YAY!!! Someone remembered Corranypoo!!!!
  16. RYOO!!!!!! Yes I remember you, of course I remember you. You're one of the crew, the posse, one of my mates, why would I not remember you. Anyway, I'm doing well, I got a new job and have moved to Perth (Western Australia's State Capital) into the big smoke. And I'm doing well. Less stress, more time to myself. I'm happy. Still playing floorball and skating (with a new coach) too, so that's all a bonus. Now... I do have you in the New Rope Series, but it was a section I haven't written yet, I have a character list with who from JNet will be what SW character. I was going to have you play Lobot... but a bigger part than what's in the movie. And I may even get around to posting the Gathering series to sort out what happens. But I gotta write some more on it first, I got a bit of writer's block in one section so I may just backtrack and move on again with some fresh stuff. LMAO! I was just reading parts of Gathering, I miss that story it was so much fun. I might start writing and posting it sooner than I planned. I think there are people here who miss those types of stories. And yes, I need to be kept inline and online. So when Nat is slacking off, she can rest easily knowing there will always be others to hassle me for more... Speaking of which, a small piece for you all. ********** Ami made her way to the dining room. Kiara was just setting down the last of the dishes for them. "You know," She said as she sat and began helping herself to some food. "I think those new helpers you bought today might be Psycho's. Well, one of them at least." Adi glanced acorss the table at Kiara. "Well, it doesn't matter now. They belong to us. Tommorrow, I want you to take them both and get de-psychofied." "Yeah." replied Ami. "I was also thinking about our agreement. About me staying on another season. If these new helpers do work out then I'd like to submit my application to the academy this year." "What, you mean this semester before the harvest??? Ami, you know I need you most then. All the noobs come and begin posting, and LAP gets specially bored then. I need you here." "But, Uncle Adi. You said I could go." "And you know EIII is about to be released. There will be a lot more people surfing the prequal forums." Ami stood up and walked off. "Where are you going???" Kiara asked. "Looks like I'm going nowhere. I'm off to settle the new helpers." When Ami had gone, Kiara shook her head. "You know you can't keep her here forever Adi. She will learn how to use her power no matter what. She is like her mother in that way." "Yeah," Adi nodded. "That's what I'm afraid of." *** Back in the baths, Ami found that neither helper were visible. "Hello?" She asked the silence. *sniffle* "hello." Came a miserable response. From underneath a pile of clothes, Ami could see Keerow. "What are you doing under there???" "He ran off. He said he'd be back by the time I counted to twenty. I counted to twenty seventeen times and he's still not back." Ami was struck with horror. "Where did he go??" "I don't know. He muttered something about Othee Wan Mellina and destiny and something else about freedom and sanity." Keerow sobbed. "What does sanity mean???" ”œOh no.”
  17. I think it's an interesting idea, I like it. Perhaps we could stretch it to include not only the award winners, but those stories that are completed. Show some of the old standards that we used to see in here.
  18. *Eyes the Drop Bear Warily as it heads back to it's mistress* I remember really enjoying getting into this part because it was just so easy to add things in and spin it all around, I just had the major creative juices flowing when I was writing this bit. And I always laughed as I was writing it so to me it's GREAT that people can laugh at this as well... otherwise I'd feel real weird. And I will try to post more often. It's just a matter of where I am posting from because I have all my fanfic stuff on one computer and can only post stories from there. But as long as I have people sending me PM's (glares at Nat), emails (glares at Nat), text messages (glares at Nat), or telling me to post while in other forums and threads (glares at Ami), I will remember to post and endeavour to get here.
  19. OMG, that's great, I love it. Just the sort of thing everyone wishes to do to cats. LMAO, great one.
  20. Rijos was awoken from his sleep by a sudden jolt. He sat up and stared around him, blinking the sleep from his eyes. Next to him, Keerow murmured something in her sleep and rolled over back into her dreams. Rijos nudged her. Nothing happened. "Keerow. I think we've stopped." "Obicutie." Was the only reply he got. Rijos stared as a wall rumbled out and opened into the desert. Something was happening, and he didn't like it one bit. With one deep breath he turned back to his sleeping friend. "KEEROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!" Keerow sat bolt upright looking about her. "Hey, I was just dreaming about this. But..." She said as she pointed to another of the passengers. "you weren't in it." "Keerow," Rijos grabbed her sleeve. "We have to move." Keerow stood with him, but she looked up at him with puppydog eyes and a quivering lip. With a sigh, Rijos ventured into a place he didn't really want to go. "What." He said with tentative, care. "What about Breakfast???" Outside the Farley vehicle, two people were looking along the line of people. "No. No. No. No. No." The man said as he looked down the line. "That one yes. No. No. No. YOU!" Keerow jumped as the man gestured towards her. "What. Me?" "Do you have the courage and fortitude to follow orders and stay true in the face of danger and almost certain death???" The man asked her. "Huh!?" "Just go over there." Pointing towards an area free of the Farley's vehicle. While the man went down the rest of the line looking at everyone. He pointed at a couple of others and they obediently joined Keerow. But Rijos wasn't one of them. **** When the man had gone down the line he turned the other person with him. "Amidala! Get them cleaned up and ready for dinner." "But, Uncle Adi, I was gonna go over to Sith Survey 19 and pick up some flower converters." Ami whined. "You can waste time with your friends later." Adi Wan told her sternly. With a sigh, Ami gave in. "Come on." She told the new helpers. She walked off and they followed. But she heard them behind her, talking. "You will die, if it's the last thing I do." One said. "Ha, as if, H.J. You're just saying that cause you've had it in for me ever since I began making moves on the girls." H.J. pointed to himself. "My girls. They were mine before you came along." Raynuk snorted. "They were never your girls." "I warned you." And with that, the two boys reached for their weapons. Keerow ducked where she was as blaster shots rang over her head. But it was over just after it had begun. Keerow looked up when the boys stopped firing, just in time to see the two of them collapse either side of her. "Uncle Adi. These two just killed each other, look." Ami yelled out. Adi turned to the Farley he was dealing with. "Hey, what are you tying to sell us??? Duds??" "Didn't know they were enemies. Thought they were friends, always hanging with each other." "Well," Adi looked down the line. "I'll take that one." he said pointing to Rijos. ********* Keerow and Rijos followed Ami into the small dwelling that was her home. She lived there with her Uncle Adi and Aunt Kiara. She had lived there all her life. Leading the two to the baths, she instructed them in the dry wash cycle... being a desert and all, they had to use water sparringly. "So, where are you two from anyway???" She asked as she set out some fresh clothes for the two. "Um, there was a ship... and some people... and then... lots and lots of black water with all shiny little fish that sparkled." Keerow chirped. Rijos shook his head as he washed dirt from his hair. "We were on a small transport ship. It got overtaken by the Empire." "The Empire??? You part of the Rebellion???" Ami said sounding a little too eager. A stifled giggle sounded from Keerow's cubicle. "Yeah, we were with the rebellion." Rijos said ignoring the noises from Keerow. "We were on a mission when NavyGal appeared at the door." "NavyGal???" Ami felt a shiver go down her back. The horror stories about NavyGal were well known, and to meet someone who had gone through an encounter with her and survived was... incredible. Rijos poked his head around the door of the cubicle. "Ah, you have any... um... clothes???" Ami nodded and handed him a pile. He disapeared again into the cubicle to get changed. "So, any idea what NavyGal was after???" "Not a clue." Rijos finished buttoning up his shirt and grabbed his old clothes pile. *Ting... ting t-ting* Something fell to the floor and rolled underneath the door. Rijos threw the door open and dove for the datachip. But Ami had already picked it up. "Oh, you dropped this." She said as she looked it over. "'Property of the Lady Myth.'... Lady Myth??" "Ah, no one. I can't really remember." Rijos shrugged his shoulders as he took the datachip back. From the second cubicle, Keerow's stifled giggles became a full blown fit of laughter. "Keerow! What's so funny??!" Rijos yelled. He opened the cubicle door, and Keerow, who had been sitting down leaning against it, fell across his feet. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHAAAAAAA AAAHHHHHAA AAAAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "KEEROW!!!!!!!!!!" "Please!" Ami yelled at Rijos. "Keep her quiet!!!!" "I just got it." Keerow wheezed. "The five of spades. She was the five of spades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And again she lost herself in manic laughing. "AMI!!!!!!!!!" Came a booming voice from outside. "Coming Uncle Adi. Look," Turning to Rijos she grabbed his shoulders and pleaded. "Do something with her, shut her up. Just... see what you can do." And with that she ran off. Leaving Rijos with the hysterical Keerow. "Keerow, calm down please. What is the five of spades?" "The Joke, the joke you told me. I just got it." Rijos frowned. He hadn't told her any jokes recently... Or perhaps”¦ "When did I tell you this joke??" "When we were working for Captain Tycho." "That was before the rebellion." Muttered Rijos. "You only just got a joke that I told you back before the rebellion???" "Yeah, it's a good one." ***
  21. Yeah, I can't be bothered to find the old threads to add to them. Plus everyone would have to read through it all to remember what was happening. **************************** Rijos, meanwhile, had found himself in a rocky canyon. Strange sounds emenated out from the crevasse's. Whisperings of a strange language. Something ahead of him caught his attention. The whisperings came more louder and closer. A small rockslide appeared as if dislodged suddenly. Rijos was now wishing he had of gone with Keerow. His thoughts turned to her and her fate in the lost desert of EpisodeI while he was being watched here in the Canyon of Midichlorians Ruined the Mythology. In the middle of this thoughts, a small being jumped out in front of him and sent a shot of stun towards him. Rijos was out cold. **** Back at the escape pod, troopers were scouring the area for any trace of the lost occupants. "There was someone in the escpae pod, their tracks lead of in different directions." One of the troopers nearby bent down and uncovered something from the sand. "Look, Sir." He said holding it up. "Psycho's." Commander Kheldar looked at the trooper... he was holding up a cushion. A knot formed in his stomach. "Cease the search!!! No one would entrust secret plans to a psycho padawan." Kheldar went to send off a report to Lady NavyGal. But just as he got back to the ship, NavyGal called. "Have you found anything yet, Commander???" "Yes, we found a cushion." Kheldar told her. "Oooh, is it pretty?? Don't forget to bring it back." "Yes, m'lady. And one other thing..." NavyGal frowned in the screen. Kheldar swallowed. "I believe the occupants were Psycho Padawans. We have ceased the search." "Whatever for??!!!!!" NavyGal screeched. Kheldar felt stupid pointing out the obvious. "They are Psycho Padawans. No one in their right mind would entrust a Psycho with a secret, let alone information as important as this." NavyGal inclined her head, but her eyes remained fixed with Kheldar's. "The Princess Hunter IS one of the Psycho padawans. She wouldn't know any better not to trust another one of her kind!!!!!!!!" Now, Kheldar felt really stupid. "We'll track both of them down immediately. They can't be too hard to manage. They are after all un-intelligent." "You had better bring them in, Commander. Consider yourself lucky that my nails have just been painted and I don't want to ruin them by strangling you from here. Is that clear??" Kheldar gulped. "Yes, Ma'am." Stepping outside of the ship he yelled instructions to his troopers. "GET BACK TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have psycho's to track!!!!!!" **** Rijos opened his eyes to darkness. His head hurt and was he beginning to feel sea-sick. Slowly, his sight adjusted to the dimness. He found himself in a hold of some sort. The place was filled with all sorts of things, people, droids, and parts of things. He knew then that he had been captured by the Farley's. Altho, which clan it was, he was unsure. He would not be able to tell until he was able to meet one of them. The Farley's were a short species. Wise in their own way, trading and swapping things all round the Movie Forums. And there were three clans, the Boba's, the Soba's and the reclusive Santa's. Rijos knew it would be sometime before they stopped and he was able to find out. Till then, he was looking for a decent place to get some rest. He stood up and wandered through the mess's strewn across the floor. People and droids seemed to have the choicest spots leaning against each other and the walls. But then he noticed something over in one of the corners. An entire pile of plush looking cushions. Rijos shook his head. Cushions??? "Keerow??? Is that you???" A young lady lying amongst the cushions sat bolt upright. "Rijos??" Keerow asked sleepily. "Rijos!!!!! It is you, it is you!!!!!!!" She cried as she ran up and hugged her friend. Crawling in amongst the cushions with Keerow, Rijos settled himself down, and fell asleep. *** NavyGal walked down the corridor between the detention cells. Troopers followed close behind. They stopped at cell number 589. The cell of the Senator Myth. One of the guards pressed the release button and the detention door whooshed up. Inside, Myth sat awaiting them. NavyGal sneered at her from beneath her tinsel halo. "Now, Mythie, you will tell us the whereabouts of your rebel friends." "I'll not tell you anything." Navygal stamped her foot. "DON'T UPSET ME!!!!!!!! I'm already in a bad mood cause someone stole my Lukiecutiebucketoflove doll." "Awwww, poor bubby." "Tell me what I want to know or I'll chuck a big tantrum." Myth looked at the ceiling as if thinking. "Mmmm, ok." NavyGal paused staring at Myth, poised for a tantrum. "You'll tell me???" Myth nodded. "Well, tell me then." "It's fallen between your bed and bedstand. The one with the nightlight on it." "What??" "Your Lukiecutiebucketoflove doll. that's where it's fallen." "That's not what I wanted from you!!!!!!!!" "But it's what you wanted to know." "Yeah... but-that's not what I wanted from you." Navygal stood staring at Myth for a few moments. Suddenly, she gestured and behind her, a figure entered the cell. Dressed all in shiny black black, sithdog came in. "Make her tell me where the rebels are!!!!" Navygal ordered. Sithdog bowed and cracked his knuckles. "MEEEEE AAAAAAHHHHHH. Ordi bulnar fortreyyyyyyyyyy. Ushnelis ijaob-" Myth screamed at the horrible singing. "NOOOOO, stop, please stop." "Tell me where the base is!!!!" Navygal yelled above sithdog's singing. Myth thought for a moment. "No! I can't betray the Alliance. I won't." Navygal nodded. "So be it." "-rinnnnn aourn fatrol onyiIIIIII carps..." ******
  22. I was always told I did very well with characterisation. I think doing the Gathering series helped with that. And Sorry Ami, I know it's short. I'll post longer ones from now on. I'm glad everyone has as much fun reading this as I have writing it.
  23. MMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ___________ Back on the captured ship, the woman who had given Rijos the message was being led by guards to face NavyGal. "NavyGal," The woman said with scorn. "Only you could be so bold. The Rp Senate will not sit still for this. When they hear you've arrested a former FanFic Mod they'll-" "Oh for crying out loud!!!!!!!!! SHUTUP!!!!!!!" NavyGal wailed. "You shouldn't be acting this surprised. I've been dropping hints in the Aus/NZ thread all month." Myth Hunter frowned. "what hints??" "What hints!?" NavyGal repeated. "What Hints she asks!!!! THESE hints!!!!" "Oh." Myth said. "Those hints. I thought you were talking about Valeran and his crew." NavyGal shook her head in disgust. A lady such as this lowering herself to such low levels as the rebels. "You are a disgrace and a traitor. Take her away!!!!!" Myth was led away into the custody of the Imperials. NavyGal stalked across the ship. "M'ladie." One of NG's advisors sped up his pace to keep up with her. "It's dangerous holding her. If word reaches the Admin that we have one of the oldbies under arrest-" "That is of no concern to you. I have assurances from the Emperess herself that the Admin will soon no longer be in control." The advisor stopped as Commander Kheldar came forth to give his report. "There were a few smartasses who tried to escape, but they were destroyed. There was one pod however that had no sign of intelligence on it." "Oh Goody!!!!" NavyGal said jumping up and down. "Some good news. Go and retrieve them Commander." "Yes M'am." **** Down on the planet, the pod had landed and it's two occupants had stepped into the lands of Episode I. The barren landscape was stifling, a permanent haze surrounded them, making everything seem unclear. Rijos started walking off in one direction along the ridgeline of the dune. "Where are you going??" Keerow asked. "I'm going this way. I'm gonna see if there's any settlements." "Why would people settle over there??" Rijos stopped and turned around. "Because when we were coming down I saw some sort of settlement in this direction." "hmmph!" Keerow made a face. "I wish you would stop being so damned technical." Rolling his eyes, Rijos continued walking a few more steps before turning around again to Keerow. "Are you coming??" She shook her head. "I don't want to follow you. I'm following Mr. Squiggle." And with that she set off in a different direction. Rijos shook his head to clear it. Mr. Squiggle??? A few hours later Keerow was still following Mr. Squiggle. "Ummmm, it looks like a... horse??? Oh no wait!!! Upside down, Upside down, Upside down. It's a Boat. No, it has a flashing light. A lighthouse then. No???" Keerow stopped dead in her tacks and squinted. Her vision had begun to blur with the dust and sand. But she could defntly see something moving and flashing up ahead. "A Farley transport vehicle???" She asked Mr. Squiggle. Mr. Squiggle nodded. ****
  24. Once you've hooked you're readers, you gotta reel them in. Rulz is Rulz, Macca. Although, a good plan is to always be 2 steps ahead of you're posts. Have something written in advance, then when you come to post it, you can proof read it beforehand and make changes before getting it Critted here. It's always a good idea to proof read you're story a day or two (or more) later, when you have a clear head and can just sit there and read it as if you were one of your readers. WARNING: this process can incur heavy editing. I'm having that problem with A New Rope and As Our Paths Cross at the moment, I'm reading them a couple of years after I've written them and OMG!!!! are there some major errors in them.
  25. nitpick - critique, it's all the same in my language. so when do we get the next update?? You already got a few readers hooked, that's a good start.
