  1. Julio walked back into the cantina. Somehow, destroying something always seemed to calm him. She wasn't at the table. He didn't see her leave so she either dodged out the back or was still in here. He gave a scan of the cantina, spotting her at the entrance to the refresher. The bartender seemed to be striking up some conversation, and since most bartenders were cred-grubbing schuttas, he figured it was probably over their meal. He reached into his pockets only to find nothing more than a little lint. She came to the same conclusion when she spotted him across the room. She's out of creds too. God-damn it. Alright. He looked at the guy beside him. A devaronian just having a drink. "What the hell did you say to me?" He was staring straight at the devaronian, eyes wide and fist clenched. "What?! I didn't say anything to you!" "Now you're calling me deaf? What the hell did I do to you?" He was right in the man's face now. "You didn't do a god-damn thing! I was just having a drink when you..." Julio didn't give him a chance to finish. Straight to the face. His fist had found it's mark. The devaronian fell out of his seat, clutching his nose. "You mother...."
  2. His anger flared. What the hell is her problem. First she's angry for ordering for her, then she mocks me for apologizing. I will never understand women. He just sneered. He got up, walking toward the front door. He passed his waiter on the way. He stopped to give Julio his drink. Julio paused, look back at Rose, trying to suppress yet another giggle. He swung upward at the waiter's hand, knocking the drink away, and continued toward the door. Outside, he leaned against the wall and lit up a cigarette. I am so glad I got the blacks. The smoke burned down his throat. It crackled as he took another hit. Why are you getting so worked up about a girl? He shook off the question and took another hit. He was feeling destructive. Reminiscing about the rather uncomfortable ride here, he remembered that his ship was still on Roon. He took another hit and closed his eyes, accessing the commands for his ship in his implant. Access: Hyperdrive Access: Temperature Control Password: retribution Turn Off Temerature Control Bypass Security Code: Shadowstep Code Confirmed. Shutting Down Temperature Control There. The ship is all yours. He laughed at the though of his ship eventually exploding from hyperdrive overheat. Teach them to take his ship. He hit the cigarette for a final time before throwing it down. Now, where was I?
  3. He saw her distain. She clearly was pissed. F***. I'm not apologizing. His food arrived, and suddenly he wasn't hungry. God dammit, now I can't even eat. No, i'm not apologizing for a simple mistake. She should realize it was just a mistake. She didn't touch her food either. He couldn't take it. "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to order for you. It was a reflexive action. I don't normally eat with someone, I was just trying to simplify things. I didn't mean to offend you or anything. If you want, I can have it taken back, get you something else to drink. God, i'm an ass." He took a long needed breath and looked away. His second Juma juice had arrived like clockwork and he downed it like the first. Before the waiter had a chance to turn away he caught him. "Can i have a double Kashyyykan whiskey?" The waiter nodded and strode off.
  4. Ah yes, food. Forgot I was hungry. Eh, I've gone without before. But it would be good to get something in me. He followed her to a booth. He sat down and scanned the room, looking for the exits and familiar faces, as usual. He thought he saw a Duros he recognized, but they all just looked kinda the same to him. The waiter came to their table. He just stood there, waiting for the order, not really giving off the "happy to see you here" face. "We'll have two specials, and two Juma juice to go with that." The waiter walked away, probably forgetting the order as fast as he heard it. He looked over at Rose, seeing a rather annoyed look on her face. Damn, I must look like an ass. Who the hell am I to say what she wants? God. She doesn't deserve this. If I didn't think she couldn't make it here on her own, I would just leave her be. Their drinks arrived before the food. He downed his and avoided her look. "We can probably get jobs bounty hunting together. We shouldn't shoot for the large ones because the professionals around here are rather territorial. We'll be safe if we stick to the small jobs."
  5. "OH THANK GOD!" Julio didn't even take the time to lower himself down from the cockpit of the Mech, rather he jumped out, to be greeted by the steel floor of the landing pad she had chosen. With a slight lean forward, he turned the inevitable broken leg into an elegant roll. "Mental note, never go into hyperspace with a quiet sixteen year old girl, with no room to move. Took years off me." She lowered herself, not dignifying his comment with any retort. They got paid the docking fees, rather, he paid the docking fees with what little money he had left, and they made their way toward the middle of the sector. "Well, I'm almost bust. We gotta get a place to crash and some work." He took an involuntary stretch. He had been to Nar Shaddaa before, and for similar reasons, but this time it was different. It's not only my skin I have to watch out for this time. "So, what are you good at? Ignoring the fact that you have the body of a dancer, what career choice suits you best?" There was nothing else he could really do. He had some skills at slicing and repair, but not enough to get him hired. He either had to be a muscle or get bounties. Eitherway, he needed another gun.

Julio put his foot in the loop of the cord, rising to the cockpit. It was....roomy to say the most. It would have been comfortable should there be only one. Rose was already in the pilot seat. "Great...." the sarcasm practically drenched the air. It felt like a cage. He hated cages. No one deserved a cage. Death was better. But it wasn't a cage, it was a ship. He took his seat behind her. "Do you know the co-ords?" She simply nodded, already prepping the mech for takeoff. The door shut, buttons were pushed, and they were off. So much i've put in the hands of this little fox. And there is something about this ship, this planet that's special to her. She was searching for something here and didn't find it. Her journey won't stop here. But for now we must hide, from whatever enemies she, and by extention myself, have made here. Damn you, Rose. Why can't I just throw you out of this cockpit and go to Nar Shadda? I've abandoned before, left others to die. What makes you so special?

"You should have killed him. He'll tell others which way we went." She gave him a glance. A small look of anger and little shame. It made an impression on him. Along with the small shockwave that went through the cavern. She grabbed his hand and started to lead him down a foreign tunnel. He noticed she was in pain. "Are you okay?" She continued down the tunnel, running through the pain. He could see light at the end of the tunnel. How many will be at the end of this tunnel? A sly smile came across his face. "Before we go through here...I need you to tell me where we are going as I am sure you can tell we aren't staying here." He thought for a moment. Where would we go? We could go to Tatooine. No, she obviously detests the place. Not back to Coruscant. Naboo, there is a place. Or Manaan. Onderon. It really doesn't make a difference. If we need to escape, we need to go to "Nar Shadda. Best place to hide. We could even get a little work there."

A sly smile graced Julio's face. He could ignore the spider for now. He had a new enemy. Rose's shots hit there mark and disarmed one of the three. Damn. Shoot them in the face. They can't shoot you if they have hole in their face. With a thought, the blaster extended from his right hand. He didn't even way the consequences of the battle. He just rushed. The time for subtlety was over. Just time too kill. And he had plenty of reason to kill. He fired at the one in the middle, hitting him dead in the chest. He started to charge, readying his left hand on the hilt of his sword. Why the f*** did you take us to this planet A second shot hit the chest again. The man fell. The uninjured one started to fire. A shot grazed Julio's shoulder, making him flinch. He didn't stop charging. You have been nothing but a burden on me. He reached his assailant, drawing the blade into him. The force from the charge ripped the man in two. Instead of attacking the final injured one, he continued to charge behind him. Focusing on his injured hand, he didn't turn to shoot Julio. Julio gave him a kick to his back, forcing him toward Rose. Make yourself useful. "Kill him." He said it in the most casual way possible, making the act sound as simple as any menial task. He continued toward where the three came from, leaving Rose to her own. She needs to finish what she started. She'll be stronger.

Julio didn't really get what was going on. He got the fact that the humans in the compound had found the tunnel he and Rose had been taken from, and that they were killing the spider like things. But what he didn't get, was the spider's hold on Rose. Something was said without words, if that was possible. He believed that Mortati might have killed them if they stayed there too long. Something about the man radiated death. These spiders didn't seem nearly as hostile as the pale old man in the office. Rose had asked him to ease off his weapon. And he complied, somewhat. He double checked the systems for his blaster, making sure nothing was damaged in his kidnapping. Without moving a muscle, he made his diagnostics, and found the blaster to be fully functional. Shouting came from the tunnels. The beasts were dying. More screams, now humans joined the ranks of the dead. Oh goody, we get to have some fun. Rose took his hand and began running deeper into the caverns. They ran through the room filled with ambient light, lead by one of the more soldier like creatures into the dark tunnels. Rose's eyes adjusted quickly, while Julio's took a moment. Her superior ability to see in the dark helped him navigate in the tunnels, as long as they remained holding hands. Occationaly, one would loose grip, and it would take a second to find each other and continue. "We need to get out of here. They're just going to sweep the whole cavern. If you're spidy friend was right, they may be looking for you." Rose continued to run, following their guide to who knows where. All Julio could here now was feet running and heavy breathing. She was thinking. "Rose! We need to get back off this ship and get the I am Groot off this rock! We can't hide in these caverns for long. Before long, they are going to get smart and seize my ship, if they haven't already. Not to mention we have the hanger guards to get past, and those really friendly Mechs. You remember those, don't you? Sweet guys really." He was trying to lighten the mood while keeping it to the level they needed to not die, but he felt his sarcasm wasn't having it's desired effect. "Look, ask this thing if there is a tunnel leading to the hanger."

He heard her scream. Reflexively he turned and placed his left hand on the hilt of his sword. He heard them surround him. Must have been about a dozen of them by the sound of the scurrying. He stood there, hand still on hilt, waiting for any sign from Rose to make an escape. The creature that had crept up on her apparently didn't find him as a threat, because it continued to face Rose. It stared at Rose for a second. Rose shot Julio a look. A look he felt had his life in it. He didn't here the creature sa a word. How did she communicate with Rose? It clearly did. That was no random look she made toward him. Somewhere in her mind she was weighing options. Oh great. This is just great. F***ing great. Now I'm stuck between god knows how many crazy ass spiders with the speed of nothing i've ever seen and look like the night, and this little desert fox who, contrary to her title, is cold as Hoth when it comes to my well being. Should have left her ass in the cantina. I could be working on a bounty or something now. Well, i'm here, let's just pray to Khorne she finds use of me. He refused to take his hand off his sword. He wasn't going to start anything, but he sure as hell wasn't going to let himself get cut down with out a fight. He waited on the next move. Staring into Roses eyes, he new she was still making a big decision. What the decision was, he didn't know, but it involved him. This he was sure of. "Rose?....."

The tunnel was dark, but he had an innate comfort in the dark. Even though the creature threatened his life with the blade to his neck, he was at peace in the shadows, where he belonged. He spotted N'vy, slightly, his eyes rapidly adjusting to the light. It was still obscenely dark, but he could make out silhouettes now. Seeing that they hadn't immediately killed her gave him a sort of twisted hope. They had grabbed her first, and he felt it wasn't a random kidnapping. No, this was planned, to some extent. he just happened to wonder into it. Why did I come here. I know nothing about this planet. I know nothing about this....girl. What hold does she have on me. I should have left her. At the cantina, at the office, anywhere. This ins't like you Julio. You're better than this. You're slipping. You should have never left the village. He felt himself getting angry, starting to boil. He kept himself in check. Whatever these creatures were, they were faster than him. And they saw much better than him in the dark. For him, it wasn't as much about seeing as knowing. Knowing where the target was and knowing when and how to strike. But seeing helped. He saw that N'vy wasn't as tense as she should be. You get good at reading faces hunting slavers for eight years. "What do you make of this?" Her voice was a paradox to him. On one hand it held the weight of their lives. A sense of panic that would be expected in this situation. On the other, it was calming, smooth. He thought for a second, observing all he saw. He decided to avoid basic, since it seemed these creatures were semi-capable of understanding it. "Well, they haven't killed us yet, that's a good sign." He spoke in Twe'lik. "And, I don't think they really plan to. Well, at least not you. They missed you. Me, they may not find a use for. Hate to have to make my last stand here." He gave her a sly smile. Then looked back into the cavern, quiet contemplation coming over him.

Julio had managed to get to the weapon shop in good time. A half hour early. To his surprise, the owner of the small shop gave him a small smile. "Ah, yes, I was just about to send for you. The modification was simpler than I had originally though. Here you go." Such arrogance, like the last. Is this place filled with stupid schutta like them? He took the weapon in his hand and examined it. It wasn't much heavier, and the barrel hardly showed signs of modification. It would pass any cursory inspection, should the occasion arise. He was quite happy with the job. "Excellent. And how much would I owe you for effort?" "It's on the house. It's not often I get to perform such modifications on weapons, and it was a rather pleasant change for me." On that note, Julio just nodded his head and started to say something when something came across his mind. Not really his mind, but his feelings. Something's not right. "Thank you for the escort, gentlemen, but I would like to return to Mr. Mortati and...erm..." He struggled to remember the name the old man had called her. "....Rose. As soon as possible, if you don't mind." "We have been instructed to keep away from Mr. Mortati's office until his business with Ms. Rose is completed." "Ah, I see, well, If you point me to the cantina, I'll just wait there until they are finish." The guards escorted him to the cantina and followed him inside. "Can I buy you gents a drink?" The guards were taken by surprise with the sudden generosity of this stranger. They debated on weather or not they should have a drink on duty or not. "Come on, guys, one drink isn't going to kill you. I'm sure you don't get a lot of down time with the kind of job you have." They looked at each other and shrugged. Yeah, one drink wouldn't hurt. Julio ordered three Kashyyykan whiskeys, his favorite and rather potent drink. When he reached for the drinks, he popped open two capsules of a sleeping drug and tipped them into two of the drinks. He dropped the empty capsules on the ground with a fluid motion as he passed them to his proverbial jailers. They took a sip of it, the overbearing strength of the drink masked the taste of the drug, and within minutes, they began feeling drowsy. "Oh, I just forgot, I wanted to pick up some candy." The guards just sat there, all their will used to keep their heads up. "Don't bother yourself. I'll find it. You just chill out here." He payed his tab and left the cantina. Now, where is N'vy? Something was wrong. He knew. From time to time, he would get these feelings that normally said "Get the hell out", and this is one of those times. Something wasn't right. Nothing felt right ever since he picked her up at the bar. He started wondering the market square, being careful to avoid any authority looking figures. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he saw here. She looked disturbed and was backing toward the wall. He started to make his way toward her, when he saw a false door open up behind her and a hand pull her backwards. He started to walk over to the wall. Don't attract attention. He reached the wall and felt around for a way to open it. Nothing. He spotted a small little grove in the left side. He felt around to see if he could pry it open. His fingers wouldn't fit. He extended his sleeved vibroblade to try to pry it open. The blade snapped in half in the middle of applying pressure. Well, the hell with this. He got out his blaster and gave it a few good shots. The silent shots grabbed no attention. I love this modification The door gave a small sigh and gave way a little. Now he could just barely see a crack, big enough for his fingers to fit through. He would get through that door. No door will stand in my way.

He was escorted through the compound. The inner part looked much more like a small town than a large military compound. They arrived at their destination and were escorted to an office where a rather pale man was awaiting them. He was listening to some rather slow music. Damn, I hate this music. No beat. I can't feel this music. There were two glasses on the table. Are they for us? Where is his drink? "Come, sit, I was wondering if you would ever return...Rose." The man gestured toward the seats setting in front of his desk. "Actually, I think I'll give you two a moment. I'm going to go check out this compound, if that's fine with you Mr..." "Mortati, and by all means, make yourself at home." Julio left the room and was greeted by the two guards that had escorted him earlier. He got into the little speeder, heading toward the market square. He got out of the speeder, and to his surprise the guards got out and lined up beside him. Oh goody, I get guards to keep me from being stupid. He made his way to the weapon shop, passing several little clothing and food shops until he got to the weapon shop. He strolled into the weapon shop, guards hot on his tail. "Greetings sir, and how may I help you?" "How good at you are making modifications?" "Well, that entirely depends on the modifications you require." "I had two jobs for you. One, I need you t equip my blaster with a silencer. If at all possible, I would like that to be inside the blaster itself, so it can remain small in stature." "Uh...sure, I suppose I could do that. And the second?" "Well, I need you to connect these riggings to my neural implant to extend at a thought." "That is....a bit beyond my expertise. You may want to talk to Mr. Tenki. I believe the fine gentlemen escorting you know where he is." "Okay, I'll leave the blaster with you then?" "Sure, I'll have it done in an hour or so." "Thank you, i'll be back in an hour then." He left the shop and the guards shuttled him to an area outside of the merchant square. This area looked more like the hanger bay, but had more of a science lab feeling to it. When the shuttle stopped, he was lead through some doors, some security clearances were checked, and they were taken to a man in a long white coat. "Ah, yes, I was expecting your arrival. Joran told me of you had a small project for me." "Erm...hello. Yes, my name is Julio, and I would like you to take a look at my weapon riggings for me." Julio lifted up his sleeves and removed the riggings on both arms, being careful to remove the vibroblade still attached to the left one. "Hmm...nice design. I haven't seen anyone use these in a while." He inspected them thoroughly, checking the cylinders and bolts, making sure everything was as it should be. They were rather simple, really. Small sensors located near the elbow for the release, and a small noon-combustible gas cylinders to project the item attached to the rail. "And what was it that you wanted me to help you with Mr. Julio?" "Well, I was hoping that you could replace the sensors with a link to my neural implant. As they are now, they are effective, but a bit too slow for my taste. I was hoping that connecting them to my implant, they would go faster." "Well, that seems simple enough." His arrogance filled the words so that they stung Julio's ears. Easy, I'll show you easy. Cutting you down would be easy. Disposing of these two dim witted guards would be easy. If it weren't for that sly little fox in there..... Julio just gave a grateful smile. Causing violence here would be a mistake. He knew that the guards were more than proficient with their rifles. Julio was saddened by the thought of not getting to test the riggings full functionality to their full extent for a while. There didn't seem anyone on Roon to stir up any trouble. Tenki had the project finished in a few minutes. "There you are." he said with a smug sense of pride. He clearly showed his happiness at completing this job. As if he had achieved some great goal. "Thanks a lot." Julio reattached the vibroblade to the one on his left and strapped both back on. He closed his eyes and found the commands loaded into his implants. The blade came out as fast as he thought about it. Not a split second between thought and action. "Nice." Julio couldn't help a small smile reach his lips. On that note, Julio turned and headed back to the speeder. By the time he got back, the blaster should be done. I wonder what that little minks is up to. And what is up with that man. He looks like he's about to fall over. He clearly hasn't seen the light of day in some time.

For a second he didn't the doors wouldn't open, letting his heart race with the prospect of death. Landing, he calmed himself. "Yeah....great place." They left the ship. He looked around the for some clue about the place. Metal walls. Metal ceiling. Metal floor. I hate places like this. Being enclosed. Barton, who the hell. He stood there, waiting for the apparent host of this compound. Something was unsettling to him. Something felt unnatural. The planet suited N'vy well. Some men showed up to escort them somewhere to wait for the host. As he was leaving the hanger, something flashed across his mind. A dark place. Something like a cave. He heard some sort of movement. Like skittering. He turned around and saw a set of red eyes coming from the darkness. He heard some sort hissing. As he turned around, he came back to the hanger. He stood for a second, trying to figure out what happened. He stared blankly into the hanger. N'vy looked at him, giving a confused look.

Julio sat in the seat, watching the mechs float there, pointing the rather large weapons at his ship. This was a lot of effort to get to a planet. Roon. What was it i had heard about this planet? Hmmm...I'll remember it sooner or later. He wasn't too worried about the mechs. If she knew how to get around the giant asteroid field and knew that the fleet was harmless, then she probably knew a way around the mechs. He sat in his seat uncomfortably nonetheless. He gave here a sideways glance. "You know, i haven't asked you a whole lot about your choice in planets to hide at, but, this one does seem a bit ominous. Is there someone specific you're meeting on the planet, or are we just gonna chill out for a while?"

The blades were made of phrik and coated in Sith poison. One standard Ryyk style and one Kerarthorr style. (standard ryyk blade stolen by HunterofShadows.) Arca Made by Dagon, this Sith alchemic crushgaunt was crafted to fit Julio specifically. As with normal crushgaunts, it drastically increases Julio's strength in his right arm and is virtually indestructible. Arca also has a few modifications. A short lightsaber was built into the upper forearm and a fibercord garrote built into the outer wrist. ((Mod Approved)) Rose Great lengths have been gone through to make this lightsaber the perfect tool specifically for Julio. The crystal was formed from several different components to make it notably stronger than standard crystals. A Sith holocron was added during the forging process to add its own dark energies to the material. Julio's family ring was added as well. Long used as a focal point for his years of hatred, reminding him of his loss and struggle growing up. This made the crystals significantly responsive to him and him alone. The focusing lens was made of condensed and purified volcanic glass from Mustafar. Though it added no real effect to the blade, he felt it added symbolism to it. The glass had housed the constant flux of the planet, resembling the constant struggle of man to understand its true feelings. The hilt was made of the forgotten Hijarna Stone, which had the special the special property of absorbing and dissipating energy, even being resistant to lightsabers. On the ebony stone, carved ancient Sith runes formed a ring around the top and bottom of the hilt. Very few in the galaxy knew the secrets the runes held, and even fewer truly understood them. Along the hilt ran pale-rose veins connected to Julio's specific force signature. Should someone other than Julio touch the hilt, or connect to it via the force, the tainted energies within the veins would open up a window to their mind, making them vastly more susceptible to Julio's mental assaults.
