The taxi lifted off, flew off the building, aimed at the sidewalk and accelerated to top speed. It hit the ground with a resounding KABOOM! Rinnian ran down the hallway and opend a door at random. Inside was a large room filled with communications gear and officer. Lots and lots of unarmored officers. For a moment, no one did anything. Then Rinnian rolled sideways and ducked behind a console. He pulled out both of his blasters and popped up and turned around. He fired shot after shot at the officers, who were thrown into confusion and had no idea what was going on. He burned down three of them before they even figured out what the hell was going on. He spun them on his fingers and then poped out to shoot at some storm troopers. A door opened on the side of Rinnain with an officer ready to shoot. Jouste aimed.* " Rinnain!!" * Jouste fired two shots. Slicing noises were heard and shouts of pain were silenced as abruptly as they started. Suddenly all noise ceased. Rinnian had a hunch who he would find out there. He walked out into the hall and saw a massive, seven foot Togorian licking fresh innards off his claws. Juurgh! Thank the Force! It didn't look too good for a minute there. Jouste, meet Juurgh. Flash Taxso Posted March 29, 2004 Share Posted March 29, 2004 *Flash ducked behind a piece of ferrocrete at the entrance and rested his E-Web cannon on it as he kept up his suppression fire. Shot after shot was fired by Flash's trusty cannon, keeping the imperial commandos at bay. Suddenly, Flash saw a TIE fighter come laterally directly at him. Flash began to run backwards into the building, firing his E-Web at the fighter to no avail. Once Flash was deep enough inside the building to be safe from the TIE fighter he had realized what the imperials had done. They herded him deeper into the building with the TIE so that the commandos could advance... Flash activated his comm.* "Rinnian! I was pushed back by a TIE! We have imperial commandos loose in the building and these guys aren't nerf herders either! They're the best of the best!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *The imperial commandos spread out through the complex in groups of 5. As another shuttle had landed, giving them reinforcements. Multiple teams set up in the hallways, creating chokepoints. As groups set up, a large group of 20 or so elite commandos had one objective in mind. The computer center with the access computer inside. These troopers advanced quickly and quietly through the building, chasing a rebel trooper with an E-Web cannon. When the group reached the computer room they found 3 people inside already who had just been joined by the rebel with the E-Web. The group set up just outside of the door, they planted detonation charges around the doorframe and programmed them to detonate upon remote. Since the rebels inside couldn't see the bombs, part of the group had their backs against the wall and peeked inside and began firing as the rebels attempted to access the computer.* ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Flash kicked over a table and created a barricade, he rested his E-Web on the edge of the table and yelled back at the other 3.* "Guys! I was pushed back! They have around 15 troops outside and other groups of commandos set up some chokepoints throughout the building! We're trapped!" He breaks through one regiment and appears in front of Flash. "Not trapped anymore. Lets go before they get smart and bring in AT-ATs. We would probably beat them anyway, but lets not test the theory. Lets go, come on move it." He sees more troopers fill in the place that he just blasted out of the way. "Shit. Now we are trapped again. Well at least we are together. Kodak moment." When a man's heart is full of deceit it burns up, dies, and a dark shadow falls over his soul. Heput slices in to the computer drive and hacked into the main data frame. He had many options. He scrolled down and found the link to open couresuants planetary shileds.* " And bingo was his name o." * Jouste took the old slice out and put in a new one. The detonator exploded, causing a chain reaction with the explosives that they had placed along the door frame. The resulting explosion annihilated the 15 troopers around the door and knocked all 4 rebels to the ground. The access computer caught on fire and exploded. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Daaaaaaaamnnnnn................ I feel................... naked..................." *Flash looked down and saw that the explosion had burned away all his hair and clothes. Flash grabbed a piece of sheet metal and covered himself up. Flash looked around and saw the other 3 rebels making similar actions. He disrobed the man and donned his uniform, Now that he was feeling decent, he looked at the other three men. Either cover yourselves or come with me and to get rid of the choke point groups. He donned the imperial uniform which was badly burned in the first place. He then went to Rinnian* "I'm ready" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Elsewhere in the building, the choke point groups heard the explosion and knew something was up. One of the troopers commed up to Imancipator* "Commander, the rebels may have a chance of escaping. I suggest you find a way to back us up" *The commander of the Imancipator turned to his weapons officer.* "Liutenant, calibrate the bombardment aiming software. I want to annihilate that building. No rebels will escape today." ((OOC: Gotta get out in 3 Rinnian posts before that weapons officer calibrates the software this IS OOC knowledge, so your character doesnt don't know that.)) Both snipers found a new target and unloaded again. Flash nodded and snuck up on the group. When he got about four feet fromtheir backs, he opened fire. He sprayed lethal bolts of light back and forth over and over till nothing else moved. All clear commander. Let's get the hell out of here! Rinnian waved them all forward. They ran like hell across the courtyard, spraying fire all around and dodging blasters. Flashed sighed with relief and turned to the 3.* "Good job guys, that was our first ground mission of any kind. I'm proud of you all. Especially you Rinnian, you lead us well. That was a very tough mission and I'm glad we made it out ok, sure we came out bald and hairless, but it was only a sim right? Now If you'll excuse me, I have a message to send out." *Flash left the 3 in "the cube" and went to his office.
