  1. Xyn Ossek

    Roon

As Xyn felt all the creatures of the Force within the planet, the familiar signature grew ever-too-familiar. Xyn didn't know what to expect at this point. As the pilot left the ship, Xyn suddenly felt lost - he had no direction, no path, and was told to wait. Something that he hates doing. Xyn exited the ship in a cautious manner, paying very close attention to his surroundings, and was eager to find someone to help him find his way. As Xyn turned to admire the sky, a man came up to him and told him that if he wanted to get in some combat training, to go into a certain building on the other side of the area. As Xyn walked through, his pensive thought brought him into deep theories as to why he was here, where he was going, and what he was going to do. Time is only a curse to the mind. Xyn finally arrived at the training building and walked inside for a nice little combat drill. The droid in front of him had vulnerable-to-saber parts, so Xyn himself used a stick as to not make quick dust of everything too easily. As the drill started, the droid automatically adapted to the first smack Xyn gave it right in the middle of its sensory - boosting the speed of the droid's difficulty level. As the droid went in to try and sting Xyn with an electrical current, Xyn whipped his stick upwards and into a sweet spot of the droid, below the neck, and watched as the droid flew back and crashed into the wall. Success, as usual. Then Xyn noticed he had the dial way down on the droid. He was fighting it on easy-easy-super-easy-mode. Suddenly, he collapsed onto the ground bursting out with laughter. He just couldn't stop.
  2. Xyn almost responded to the pilot's question, but then decided against doing so, as to further the man's distrust and perhaps make him more nervous than necessary. All Xyn wanted to do at this point was follow the path of the Force, which pointed in all directions towards the pilot and the pilot's destination. But as Xyn stepped into the ship, he felt a disconnection towards the planet itself and a disconnection from his past. Xyn had been in a trance so long; all those who had once been with him in the rank as an Apprentice, all those who he had been in a race with to achieve the rank of a Sith Lord, all those who he had conquered to become the apprentice of the Dark Lord - Ryu... That's what had made him feel so disconnected. The ties that bond were broken between him and his former Master. Xyn had a new path, a new destiny, and all was independent of he who had introduced Xyn to what he truly was: a very highly sadistic and deadly Sith. As Xyn passed into the halls of the ship and took a seat in the co-pilot's chair, he could see the pilot's distaste with his choice of position. And off they went...
  3. Xyn stared at the first soldier, the one who had spoken to him, and then stared at the next. The second was more nervous, more vulnerable, and standing there, Xyn could sense the slight shakiness in every step... He was unsure who Xyn was, why his employer wanted this strange figure, and what Xyn was going to do next. He brought his chin up towards the first character, and, using the Force, his lightsaber hilt flew into his hands, and the next thing the pilot knew, Xyn had gotten next to him and swung his head off with his saber, and as the man dropped with a *thud*, the other pilot semi-raised his blaster, but decided against it. "Take me to your leader."
  4. ((mini-post, sorry)) As Xyn heard an echo of his name in the forest, the Force trailed a path to its source, and Xyn was drawn to it... "... who is this!?" He shouted aloud as loud a voice he could, his words echoing among the forest... He felt his answer, his place, and his next adventure within those words, and within the Force.
  5. "... master... master.. master... my task..." "... it's done..." "... done... done... done..." ... waking up in a pool of sweat and grass, Xyn wiped the grogginess from his eyes... "... Master?" The Force was not quite where it used to be with Xyn... Everything felt off... Everything felt different... As he realized where he was, deep in the forest of Borleais, he realized he had been in an intimate trance within the Force... So much time had past, so much had changed, and his old Master was nowhere to be sensed within the Force. "... help..."
  6. [[Another very fudgey post...]] The secondary crystal. It would be easy to find in this very room. And he was right. There was a small bag to one corner, a red color, tied with gold string. It was large, as if four large stones could be inside. And there were four crystals inside. Small crystals, and Xyn picked up the plain white one to use as his secondary. Perfect. He was almost done with the saber. With the next three crystals, he would form his primary focus crystal. Xyn found a hammer and two small metal blocks that he would use to hold the crystals on ends. Using the Force to strengthen his arms and his aim, he smashed down on the first crystal, a blue one, and it shattered into several pieces. He did the same to the next two crystals, another blue and a green. With these several shattered pieces in his hand, he squeezed them tight and turned on the burner to its full setting. And thrust his hand straight into the flames. He didn't shout, he didn't cry, he ignored all the pain and let himself fill the crystal using the Force. It became an essence of him, and as his hand burned, and as the small crystal pieces molded into each other, he kept his burned hand there, and as his skin started to peel off, he didn't recoil. Using his anger, his hatred, and even his affection, he stuffed it all into the now one crystal. His skin no longer existed, it was burnt into ashes, and all that remained was his bone, which started to burn as well. He kept his hand in there, and the strong flames molded the crystals still. With his hatred, his anger, and the Force, the crystal turned a bright red color within his palm. Xyn's focus crystal was formed, out of his own skin, blood, and emotions. As he turned the burner off, and let go of the crystal with his destructed left hand (as to not damage his right hand, which was his main one) the crystal dropped to the floor with a thud. Now to place the crystals and the wiring in the saber, and complete his task. How to put the wiring in was the question to Xyn, with no Master to help him and no schematic. But this was a saber building room, there had to be a schematic, besides the one inside the destroyed terminal that was in the wall. He searched around the entire room, under and over, left and right, and finally found it, a schematic for a lightsaber, as well as instructions on how to place the wiring. The wiring was in, the button was in, and most importantly, the crystals were in. It was complete. With the hilt in his hand, Xyn stood up and readied himself for his own product to ignite itself with the press of a button. And so he pressed the green button. His hatred, anger, and Xyn himself ignited in a red form. His finished lightsaber. Master, my task is done”¦
  7. [[since I'm in Iran, I have no idea when I'm going to have internet access and when I'm not, so I'm going to post my lightsaber building in two or three posts, and they'll be real fudgey. Deal with it, it was all I could manage. ]] Build a lightsaber”¦ Xyn thought to himself. How was he to do that here on Borleias? He had no tools at his disposal. Maybe this is why his Master requested it of him now. He had to be resourceful. In front of the ruined temple, Xyn reached out with the Force. Maybe something would call to him, maybe the Force would guide him to materials for a lightsaber. And something did catch his reach. An underground part of the dojo, still intact. Perhaps it had things he could use for his building of a lightsaber. Xyn moved forward to the ruins and found a small little hole of an entrance to go into. As he sneaked in, he saw the damage the dojo had taken internally. As he worked his way through the cracked walls and doors, he finally reached the room that called to him through the Force. He looked around himself and saw what was probably a lightsaber maintenance room, with lots of materials to use, and the perfect place to build his own saber. It was in fairly good condition, all the buckets and tools intact, although a wall had caved in. It didn't seem to be of any problem for Xyn. As he started to look around, materials caught his eyes in which he used to come to an understanding of how to build a lightsaber. The first thing Xyn looked at was a bucket of what seemed to be replacement tubes for lightsabers, in all sorts of shapes. He found the most sleek one in the bucket and placed it on the workbench in the room. He also found the wiring necessary for the saber and placed it next to the tubing. Some gold lining was also available to him, and it would suit him well. This would all be the casing of the saber, he'd deal with the rest, such as the crystals he'd need, later. The sleek tube was not exactly the shape he had been hoping for, so he turned on the burner in the room and used the Force, his hands, and fire to shape the tube into a sleek, smooth shape. Next was the gold lining, and again, using the burner, his hands, and the Force, he shaped it to his liking, and placed it on the saber. Taking a drill, he made a hole where the activation button would be. All these figures in place, he found a green button to use as his activation button, and placed it in his pocket for when the wiring was in place. The wiring would be the hard part, to figure out how it would be positioned, where the crystals would go, but first he needed his crystals. The focus crystal, and the secondary crystal.
  8. Xyn bent over in pain from the cuts Jarlaxle had made on his back and arm as the Jedi backed away. Xyn immediately fed off this pain and turned it into hate and anger. He stood up and lunged himself at Jarlaxle, slamming his saber into one of Jarlaxle's, then into the other of Jarlaxle's sabers, hitting back and forth, wearing out Jarlaxle by the second. Xyn fed off his rage and hate for this Jedi infront of him - and fed off the cuts on his back to fuel the anger in him. He slammed his saber into the Jedi's right saber, then quickly spun around and made an undercut, taking the arm off from the elbow down. Jarlaxle stared in silence, but in so much pain. Using this pause, Xyn quickly made another cut, taking off yet another of Jarlaxle's arms. The Jedi went to his knees, unable to hold himself any longer. Xyn pulled one of Jarlaxle's sabers from the ground into his hand with the Force, and ignited the grey blade. With his red and grey blades so close to burning Jarlaxle's skin and neck, Silla's voice echoed in his mind... There is no honor in killing when a life can be spared... the voice echoed in his mind. It wasn't Silla actually speaking to him, but the memory rechanting itself in his mind. But another voice intruded in his head as Jarlaxle looked up at him with pleading eyes for mercy. Kill him. came his Master's, Kakuto, voice in his head. Do it. And with that, Xyn had no choice. He lashed the sabers in opposite directions, cleanly beheading the Jedi, as the head rolled to the ground with still pleading eyes. Xyn sighed and reflected on the moment - and decided he had done the right thing. His goal was to become the most powerful being he could be - and only by doing dark deeds would he achieve this power. It was that simple. He took the Jedi's lightsabers and hooked them onto his belt. Trophies. He also picked up the head of the Jedi, as if it were a game ball, and decided to give it to his Master as a gift... Trophies and a gift...
  9. Xyn tumbled backwards from the kick, but managed to roll himself onto his feet. Using the Force, he built up all the rage inside him and sent it out in a burst of the air. Jarlaxle flew backwards, the Jedi's back slamming into a tree, rather harshly. Xyn stepped forward, his lightsaber always in a stance ahead of him, ready to attack or block at any moment. As Jarlaxle stood back and stayed in a defensive position, Xyn used the Force to strengthen his muscles and took two strong swings to disorient his opponent, then took another, right down at the Jedi's legs. The Jedi leaped up into the air and landed on the other side of Xyn, trying for a swing at the Sith, who blocked the swipe while facing his opponent backwards. As Xyn spun around, his lightsaber spun with him, and he stretched his arm out as far as he could, hoping to catch Jarlaxle in the stomach with the tip of his red blade.
  10. OOC : No intervening, 1on1, 2 posts each duel with Jarlaxle, outcome to be decided by Lionchilde. IC: Xyn walked towards the battles, seeing many aggressive ones erupting into their climaxes. Xyn looked around, trying to find where he could help - and then something caught his eye. An odd shadow in the trees. Xyn reached out with the Force and identified the being making the shadow - a Jedi! Xyn creeped quietly into the trees, blending in with his surroundings. As he moved up the rows of trees, he was finally in leaping range of his target. He gathered the living Force all around him, feeding on it's power, and building his rage, hate, and anger. Xyn leaped towards his target, at the same time igniting his saber, which turned out to be red, and swung it infront of himself, hoping to catch his opponent unaware and make this as quick as possible...
  11. "Well then..." Xyn said, as a tear rolled down his cheek. He quickly wiped it away, thinking that although Silla wouldn't be able to see it, she might have felt it. "So be it, Jedi." he spoke in a cold voice. Silla's face moved up to stare at him - and even though he knew she was blind - her stare shot him harder than any seeing stare could. Xyn leaned forward and gave her the most passionate kiss in their time together. His hand came to the back of her neck and hers came around his own neck. They didn't let go of each other for a very long time... And finally, when they did, Xyn took her hands into his own, and gave them a gentle squeeze. "I love you, Silla..." He knew Silla would not leave the planet volunteerily. He reached out into her with the Force, and spoke softly, "Until we meet again, my love..." Xyn used the Force to calm her brain down, to soften it to his will, and quickly pinched down an artery in her brain, causing her to pass out, totally unconscious. He gently placed her head onto the floor of where they were seated, and moved on to the droid, who had been watching the entire time. Xyn took a small data recorder from his utility belt and stuck it into a socket on the droid. "Get all information you can on here. Planets Silla has been, ways to contact her, places she'll possibly be going," The droid seemed to hesitate at first, but eventually complied. The data recorder ejected out of its socket and Xyn put it back onto his belt. "Speck, can you pilot this ship?" Xyn asked the astromech droid, and heard a series of acknowledging beeps and blurps. "Good, I don't care where you take them - get them to safety, OK?" He heard more acknowledgement from the droid and watched as the purple and black machine rolled into the cockpit. Xyn took one last look at Silla. His heart was already aching for the time when he would see her again. He quickly opened the hatch and jumped out of the ship. As he closed the hatch, he could hear the engines roar. As dust kicked up all around him, his hands laid on the bulk of the ship, and he wished he could be in there, with her. The ship moved into the air, and Xyn stepped back, out of the cloud of dust. As it zipped away, Xyn felt her presence flush into space, and another tear rolled down his cheek. It is for the best... He turned back towards the battle, and grabbed a lightsaber that was just laying on the ground outside the ship. As he attached the saber hilt to his belt and walked forward, part of him wanted to be with Silla, but the other part knew he had a responsibility to the Sith...
  12. Xyn gave a slight nod of understanding, and a small smile. "So, what're we to do now, a battle raging on outside, and still waiting on your verdict to our whole... trouble..." Xyn gave a sigh of confusion and frustration. If only Silla would turn... But he knew that the odds of that were the same as Xyn becoming a Jedi. "What are we to do now?" Xyn wished he could come up with some solution to this whole thing, wished he could take away the pain they would have when they were to be seperated...
  13. "I... I don't know. It's like a problem that cannot be solved... But I can't let go!" Xyn let their lips gently touch, and then withdrew for a moment. "I can't take my love back - with you is where it belongs. And with you it will stay," Xyn leaned a bit forward and they were one again. As they tore apart once again, he finished his sentence, "Forever." "Our ideals are totally different. Our purpose is different. Our goals are different. But I can't help but be attracted to you more and more with each passing moment," Xyn rambled on. "and I can't stop myself, not even for the good of my own goals." Outside, a battle was raging. But Xyn and Silla were totally unaware of it, deep into each other's emotions.
  14. [[OOC: Ignoring that, Karma. You are totally out of control. 1) The ship isn't even near you and 2) Stop with those dets - they don't give you the power to do whatever you want.]] Xyn layed his land upon Silla's and dug deep into their conversation. "We aren't your grandparents. We can make things different between us." "We don't have to let our words hurt eachother - we can put them aside - I don't want to be in constant combat with you... We can just share our love with eachother - nothing else." Xyn gave a very awkward smile, hoping he had reached Silla.
  15. "Embracing what you call the Light is limiting your power. Why embrance the light when you can embrace the dark and be so much more? Embracing the Dark Side may be easy - but being easy to follow doesn't mean the journey there after is easy," Xyn gave a little laugh of amusement of his own speech. "I don't underestimate the Jedi. I don't underestimate the light. I know its limits, though." "And what of the Jedi's success - never have the Jedi achieved total peace and justice. Only domination and control, even if it involves fear, can achieve a perfect state of balance between people. The Jedi stand in the way of my Master's ideals - and therefore - the Jedi are our rivals." Xyn could see Silla tearing up, and wiped her eyes of the moisture. "I don't deny that the Jedi are courageous. But I don't deny that they are limiting their power - their discipline - it is useless." He saw a tear roll down her soft cheek. Her lips were about to move to speak again, but he put his fingers on her mouth. His hands cupped her face and held it in the air as he leaned forward, his lips collapsing over hers. This time, there was no resistance. There was just Silla and Xyn, together, no barriers, no war, no labels of Jedi and Sith... As they ripped themselves apart from eachother once again, Xyn smiled. "Do the labels matter when there is true love on the line? Where does the line end when being a Jedi or being a Sith can break our lives? Break our love?"
