Lermos Karik

Lermos Karik sits on the floor of his compartment overlooking his three custom-made rifles. He retrieved three long pieces of cloth and drapped one over each rifle and then put them into a large bag. He stood up, swept dust off his ragged clothes, turned, and walked away.

In the darkness of space surrounding the planet of Tatooine, a small frigate begins to travel to it's destination. As the ship lands on barren land, a man walks out carrying a long, concealing bag across his shoulder. He heads out and walks towards the illuminating lights of Mos Eisley.

Lermos sits on the floor with the three sniper rifles in front of him. Each were designed differently, but all had the same purpose. Each rifle were approximately 1.5 meters in length, that fire high power magnum rounds. The rifles were also capable of handling microscopic fletchette ammunition. Slowly, Lermos rose, and walks away.

Lermos Karik slowly awakens as he felt immediate pain coursing through his body. His memory flickered and his eyes grew blurry. Then, he suddenly remembered what had happened. The Jedi... With difficulty, he got to his feet and headed towards Vladimir Faust. "We must finish the job, it isn't done.[/i] With that, Lermos walks away to his own ship, followed my Vladimir.

Oh.......shit. Lermos quickly jumped from his concealment and let his body fall into the bushes, but it was too late. Two bullets from the KiLLeRs tore into his chest and thigh. Searing pain ran through Lermos' mind, but it was soon gone, replaced by emptiness.

OOC: I pressed the trigger before you took my rifle, Raven. IC: Lermos Karik growled at himself in contempt. From his speeder, he retrieved another sniper rifle, though entirely different from his original and not nearly as powerful. Once again he brought the scope to his eyes and noticed the constant movement of Raven. Once he turned around and faced Lermos, the bullet was released from the rifle's recoil before the Jedi had a chance to react.

The vornskrs quickly join up with the KiLLeRs to form a circle surrounding Raven. Lermos Karik's speeder came up from behind, unnoticed by Raven. While still on the speeder, Lermos retrieved his rifle. He pulled the scope up and aimed at the junction between Raven's head and shoulders, his neck. Without taking another second, he pressed the trigger, releasing the ultra-magnum bullet from the rifle's nozzle.

Upon its call, a pack of Vornskrs crawl out hungrily and soon begins the hunt for the prey. Deep into the green forest, Lermos was on his own search. He traced foot prints from where he last saw Raven and begins to trail at top speed.

Lermos Karik heads back to his ship and signaled his speeder. It automatically raced down from the ramp and made its way to Lermos. He quickly boarded it and zoomed across into the Naboo forest.

Lermos heard the message from his comm and stopped his stalk. He soon headed back.

Lermos Karik stopped and heard a ruffling in the ground. He ran up the length of a tree and lay on one of the thick branches. The human features that was visible was soon replaced by the rugged appearance of a Clawdite. His sniper rifle was immediately in his hands as he zoomed in with the scope. A blur of shadow appeared ahead of him, but Lermos could not identify the being. Slowly, he climbed down from the tree and began to follow.

The human continue to walk through the vast forest, crouched, looking around him every few seconds. From any viewer's standpoint, he was definitely one who knew what he was doing. His movements were precise and silent. His senses attuned to any disturbance, any movement. His facial expression showed no emotion, no exitement, not anything but indifference itself. It was clear to anyone that this being was definitely a bounty hunter.

A frigate, stolen perhaps, began to make its descent towards the pastoral surroundings of Naboo. A human male strode out of the ship with a long length of fabric hung from his shoulder. He took a look across the expanse of the forest and continued walking.

Lermos Karik sat in the cockpit of his ship as he was preparing to return to Outer Heaven. As he was about to land, a comm was sent from a person of anonymous identity. Immediately, his ship swerved in the opposite direction and flew away.

Lermos Karik stood up and prepared for his leave. He strode into Fenix Ortius' compartment and gestured to join him. "Fenix Ortius, we must journey to Curst."
