OOC: How'd you get to be the task master anyway? At least the three us us are all Jedi Knights you know... IC: *Concentrating on the boulder above him Bishop could feel Bluedust release his hold and felt the increased bruden as he began to hold it's weight. Bringing it down to a hover a few feet above his head he looked towards the small fire. Cocentrating with what energy he could spare he blocked part of the harsh wind off and gently fanned a small amount of air towards the fire to keep it well fed. Out of the corner of his eye he can see Bluedust walking towards the tent.* "Why don't you join us Bluedust? Training is training and I'm sure it would be good for you too. I see no reason why you should not test your endurance as well." *Smiling he went into his state of meditation that would allow him to maintain his control the easiest.*

*Deflecting the attacks and absorbing the kick he swung his baton around towards Bluedust, forcing him to step back to aviod the attack.* "Angellia, long time no see. Yes, well, Tarrian... she's not..." *Distracted by Angellia's sudden presence Bluedust stepped in and attacked, forcing Bishop's attention back towards him.* "Um, I'll tell you all about it some other time. If I'm not careful Bluedust here is going to take my head off." *Blocking and circling he jabbed in and then sliced around and towards Bluedust's head. After three successive strikes there he swung about towards the body and then took a step away.* "Perhaps you and Tares would like to train for a bit, get warmed up." *He could feel the sweat allready building beneath his layers and he quickly shucked off his heavy overcoat. The cold was biting, but felt good none the less. He took a defensive pose, but as Bluedust came in for the attack he quickly beat him to the punch. Attacking in a quick flurry he pushed his friend back through the snow, then jumped back and out of range.* "Come on Bluedust, is that all you got?"

*Catching the baton he faced off against Bluedust, but waved a friendly hello to Tares.* "Well, we were just about to begin practicing. Feel free to get yourself a baton and join in." *As Bluedust confimed his words he took his opportunity and lept in with his baton and brought it down diagonally towards his partner's body. Bluedust blocked the attack as his head snapped back around to watch him, and then blocked the second, third and forth slice aimed at his body. Stepping away Bishop smiled and twirled his baton loosly.* "This is going to be fun. I haven't done this in a long time."

*Tossing his extra stuff into the tent both to keep the tent down and to keep it dry and protected, Bishop stood and faced Bluedust.* "It has been a long time since we've trained together. Where would you like to begin?" *After a few breaths with his eyes closed he was able to mostly shut out the cold around him. He could feel the force energy running through the both of them. Farther off he could feel that of the Jedi Temple. And even beyond that he could slightly feel distance star systems. He opened his eyes and was ready.*

*Placing his few items and gear on the ground he turned back to Bluedust.* "Allright, let's get started." *Undoing a bag and began to put up the tent. The winds made it slightly more difficult, but he went through the steps easily enough. Despite the cold, it was nice to be outside of the Jedi Temple and away from everything.*
  6. *After several hours by himself in the cockpit, Bishop stood and wandered towards the bed room on the shuttle. He went through the various clothes that had been left on board and found something less flashy and more practical. He changed from his dinner garb into a sand colored tunic and pants, with long brown boots. Moving back to the cockpit he unclipped his lightsaber and twirled it delicatly between his fingers. Several minutes later an indicater went off letting him know he was above Ilum.*
  7. *The Final Hope blasts through hyperspace with Bishop on board. Alone, he waits for it to reach it's final destination at the new Jedi temple.*
  8. *Bishop steeled his face as he felt Tarrian's comments and emotions come rushing in. He barely heard Adi-Wan tell him he could take the Final Hope over the torrent. Soon it was done and he knew what was going on.* Tarrian, be strong, I will come for you when I am able. *He stood and turned to Adi-Wan.* "I thank you friend for helping me on Coruscant and letting me leave for the Jedi temple. If you are ever in need please contact me." *He turned and left the room, heading for the Final Hope. Aboard he quickly situated himself and started up the ship's engines. Finding the nav coordinates for 'Kessel Pod Race Information' the ship quickly headed into orbit and entered hyperspace, bound for the new Jedi temple.*
  9. *Bishop quickly made a grab at Tabala Rhal's hand as it dissappeared back into the smoke. He was distracted by Tarrian's connection through the force enough that he missed the limb. As the limb dissappeared again into the smoke, so dissappeared his leg of meat that the seer had at the last minute grabbed off of his plate.*
  10. *Bishop sat back in his chair and ate his food, though his thoughts were elsewhere. He could still feel Tarrian through the force, though as of late she seemed more and more distant. As though she were shutting herself off from him. He didn't like the feeling.* "Adi, where are we off to after these celebration? Are we heading back to the other Jedi or do you have some other errand you must run first?"
  11. *Bishop smiled as Adi stood to greet his master. Now two had pledged their aide in reclaiming Tarrian. He could only hope it would be enough. He reattached his lightsaber back to his belt and turned back as K'munee joined them at the table.* "Greetings Master K'munee, it has been a long time since you graced myself and my fellow classmates with a lesson in using force just before our knighting. How has the road treated you?"
  12. *Bishop sat back in his chair and applauded with the others as Sly made his speech about Master Ness and then as he joined them in knighthood. He reached down to his belt and unclipped his lightsaber and set it down on the table in front of Adi-Wan.* "You asked to see my lightsaber earlier, and here it is. It has a white blade."
  13. "I find I must agree with Master Ness and Adi-Wan. Whether or not the dark side is stronger or weaker, I am tired of sitting around and waiting for the next Sith attack. We need to expand beyond the Jedi code. If it will not let us do our job then it is out dated. Our enemies are constantly changing their tactics, and we must do likewise." *He continued on with the others in silence for a moment. His thoughts drifted back to whom he had lost to the Sith threat.* "To sit back and do nothing is an insult to all those who have suffered and been taken away by the Sith. Further reason why we should press them and bring peace to the galaxy again."
  14. OOC: Well, I'm on Naboo now, but I'll pretend I heard that anyway.
  15. *Bishop and Tares rejoined Ness, Adi, and Prophet where they stood talking. He felt Tarrian briefly touch with his mind but did not show it.* "A dinner eh, well I guess I better get changed. I've been wearing the same clothes for a couple weeks now. Maybe I could borrow some of your clothes Adi? We're about the same size." *Knowing that his friend would agree he set off to the ship and rooted through the clothes. After a brief clean up he left the ship fit comfortably into a loose pair of white pants and top. A thin red, almost ropelike, belt secured his newly constructed lightsaber at his waiste.*
  16. *Looking at his friend drained some of the tension from Bishop. He deactivated his lightsaber and clipped it to his belt. The weight felt good against his side.* "Friend, this is my struggle, not your own. I'm not asking you to put yourself in danger to save Tarrian. I was the one that fai... I was the one whom she saved. I know she is your friend too, but she would not want you to put yourself into danger to save her. But if you choose to go with me, then I guess I have little choice." *Inwardly Tares' commitment to helping him warmed his heart. He did not want to see his friend in any danger but at the same time he welcomed the help.* "I only wish I knew how long this path we begin to tread shall take. Though I do know there will be many rough spots ahead. Come, we have long been away from the others, let us rejoin them." *Bishop stood with Tares and guestured for him to lead the way back towards the others.*
  17. Whoops, double post. Sorry. What a way to end such a dramatic post as this one. Hehe.
  18. "She..." *Bishop set down the pieces of his lightsaber. Building it while talking was going to be tougher than he though. Taking a calming breath he started again at it.* "She gave herself to save me. Before Barohm Zar found us at Midsengard she'd been having visions of her family. Of her brother Thorn. She hadn't seen any of them for a long time. We went to the Sith temple with Zar and met Lord Ar-Pharazon... the Sith Emperor. He was... we found out..." *He was having trouble fitting in a piece of the emitter and concentrated for a moment. He pulled it out from where he had been trying to force it in and tried again, this time it slipped into place.* "Ar-Pharazon is her brother. He used me. He used me as a tool to get to Tarrian. He left me to Zar, letting him torture me and used my pain on Tarrian. He told her that if she did not train with him that I would be hurt more. He told her to give herself fully to the dark side or that I would be made to suffer. She should have said no. It would have been the better choice." *Memories of the torture that had been inflicted on him flashed into his mind, digging up old pains. He let his right hand move slightly away from his work as the memories came flooding back. He clenched it into a fist then slid the components of his lightsaber into the shaft of his handle and secured them in place.* "She made a bad choice. We were left together when the Sith left for Coruscant. Ar-Pharazon is getting married there. Suprising. I didn't know Sith were the type to marry. She cut through the door to the room we were in. Her brother had given her a Sith lightsaber and had not taken it from her before he left. I don't know if he thought she had turned entirely allready, or if he intentionally left us a way out. We escaped to the docking bay and found a shuttle. We took it, expecting an easy get-away. That was a bad assumption. The crafts were allready programmed to fly to Coruscant and dock at the palace. They were supply ships." *Working smoothly now he began to finish up his lightsaber. The pieces were beggining to slip into place more and more smoothly as he continued. Before long he would be done.* "We almost got out without being found. We were heading towards what was left of the tunnles of the old Jedi temple. I was in there and glancing ahead to make sure no Sith were there when Tarrian bumped into Barohm Zar. She wanted me to keep going while she distracted Zar. She was the grooms sister, he wouldn't hurt her. And he hasn't, but I shouldn't have left her there... I shouldn't have..." *The memories flooded back in a torent and he struggled with a few of the final controls on his lightsaber handle. Tears welled into his eyes as he continued, though he held them back. He gripped the shaft of his lightsaber in his hand.* "But I couldn't... I didn't even have my lightsaber... there was no way for me to fend off Zar... but I should have tried. He's a Sith lord... I couldn't have beaten him... but I... I failed her." *His head dropped lower as he forced his eyes to focus on the construction before him. His fingers finished fumbling with the controls and he checked it over for anything he had left to finish.* "I managed to make my way into the temple undergrounds and contacted Adi-Wan. He had his Z-95 in the hanger bay still, but I was unable to reach it, so I met him at the Last Call. He came there as a bounty hunter sent to apprehend me and I went with him. From there we came here." *His lightsaber was finished. He stood and gripped it in his hands. Pausing for an intake of breath he activated it and the beam of pure energy shot out. White and pure it hummed and glowed before him. It purred deeply as he gave it a few test swings. This blade would help him along his path to reclaiming Tarrian's soul from the darkness that now surrounded her. He just hoped her spirit would remain as bright and strong as his blade amongst the corruptive energies around her.*
  19. *Pulled out of his meditation Bishop opened his eyes and glanced towards Tares. He had been concentrating deeply on the construction of his lightsaber and had not even noticed the other Jedi joining him.* "Yes, I suppose it is a dangerous path to tread. But I would expect that most paths a Jedi might take would be dangerous these days." *He stood quickly and grabbed his coat and put it back on. He glanced down at the lightsaber, it was nearly completed. Completed enough that he could finish it without immersing himself too deeply in the force. He sat down in front of them again and worked some more while talking to Tares.* "Besides, I'm not truely alone. I still have the force, right? I'll need that to get Tarrian back... she doesn't know what she's gotten herself into."
  20. *For the first time in many days, Bishop smiled.* "Thank you Tares. It is good to be back. And thank you Adi-Wan, I will go build myself another one. Mine is unfortunatly locked in a box at the Sith Temple. Going back there anytime soon wouldn't be first on my list of things to do." *He made his way back onto the ship. After a brief search he was able to find the parts Adi-Wan had mentioned and sat down in front of the box. Having allready constructed one lightsaber made making a second one much easier. He selected his pieces reletively quickly. Within the hour he had what he needed and he stuck them all in a small bag and exited the craft. Rather than proceed inside of the shuttle, he decided to make use of the natural beauty around him. He found a quiet spot not too far away amongst some trees. He set the bag of parts onto the ground and took off the coat he had been wearing. It was a little warm there to be wearing such a coat, but he had kept it on to hide his prosthetic arm. He glanced down at the dull metal and he felt ashamed. Yet at the same time he knew he would not change it. The Sith constructed attachment would stay as a reminder to himself of what had happened. He pushed that thought towards the back of his mind. Crossing his legs before the lightsaber pieces he let his mind fall into it's customary mediative state and began the construction of his new lightsaber.*
  21. OOC: Sorry I've not been posting, issues with being allowed to under the new permissions thing. But that's all fixed now. IC: *Bishop exited the shuttle with Adi-Wan and approached the others. He still wore his stolen Imperial flight jacket and his right hand was stuck in his pocket. He was pretty sure Adi-Wan had noticed, but his friend had, as of yet, not asked about his metal prosthetic arm which had definatly not been there when Tarrian and he had left Midsengard.* "Again I thank you for coming for me Adi-Wan... it was not my intention to draw any other Jedi into the danger there but I didn't know what else to do." *He dropped his head slightly, glancing around at the others. He was glad to be once more among his fellow Jedi, it was a joy he had wondered but a short time ago if he would ever have again. But at the same time, surrounded by their presence, he felt alone. The lack of weight at his hip bothered him as well. He would have to build a new lightsaber since he doubted he would be getting his old one back any time soon.*
  22. OOC: I know what you meant. I'm such a pain. *Bishop watched Tarrian move towards the back. She touched briefly with him and then retreated into herself. He sighed, not sure how he should act and then looked towards the lightsaber she had left on the control panel. Seemingly as if being pushed by some dark and unseen hand it rolled off and fell towards him to land on the floor at his feet. Though it had only rolled he reacted as if it had jumped through the air to that point by it's own power. He leapt to his feet and back a few paces. After a moment he reached down and picked it up. It felt cold to his touch and he nearly dropped it right then. Gripping it gingerly he walked it back over to it's place on the control panel and placed it back.* "Sith weapons..." *The comment was almost a curse as he wandered towards the back where Tarrian was at. She had donned a jacket kept in a closet for the pilots. Though she had worn it for extra warmth, it struck him as a good idea for them to wear it as it might make them fit in better. He would have to remember to grab one before they landed. He leaned against the door frame and took a deep breath.* "Tarrian... I just wanted you to know..." *He stopped as her head nodding to the side. She was asleep. He thought about waking her up but decided against it. Instead he smiled down at her sleeping form. Quietly he crouched next to her and reached into his pocket. He pulled out the stone he had been molding from the Sith Temple. He had etched away it's mass through force control alone and had shaped it into a single rose bud with the begginings of a stem trailing away from it. It looked delicate in his hand despite it's tough material. He had poured his effort into it while Tarrian had been fighting with Lord Ar-Pharzon in the training room. He had thought of only her while he made it. He kissed it softly, infusing memories of the two of them into it in an instant as he placed it into Tarrian's coat pocket. He kissed her forhead and a smile crept into the corners of her lips as she slept. He stood and headed back into the cockpit.*
  23. *Bishop looked down at the Sith crafted weapon like it was a snake. He didn't reach out to touch it but simply shook his head.* "You keep it for now. If I really need it then I will get it then." *She connected with him briefly, letting him know she was exactly where she wanted to be. He wasn't sure why being on a stolen Imperial Shuttle, headed straight for the Sith conquered Coruscant was where she wanted to be, but he wasn't about to argue right then.*
  24. "You know I'd feel a lot better about this if I at least had my lightsaber, but it's still back there at the Sith temple in one of the guard's boxes. At least then I'd have a good way to protect us." *He sighed and glanced around the cockpit before his eyes settled back onto Tarrian.* "I guess I could try hacking it or hotwiring the thing." *The offer was a futile attempt and they both knew it. At best he would only be able to slow the inevitable. At worst he could damage the controls and leave them locked in hyperspace.* "From what we're carrying it's pretty much a garuntee that we'll end up landing amongst the Sith. We won't be able to hide in the undercity if we can't get there first."
  25. OOC: Well since this whole venture has been Mod disproved... IC: *Searcy's ship goes back to where their other ships are at. They pick up the other two, then all of them continue on back to the Jedi Temple.* ------------------ Geocities Site Angelfire Site [This message has been edited by Bishop Of Battle (edited August 25, 2002).]
