  1. His master told him to sit, however it wouldn't end like last time. If Kadaj was going to survive, he would have to replace his new habits, with old ones. His mind would have to be reshaped to withstand the training that lurked in his future. "Yes master..." He replied as his silver hair waved in front of his eyes. He sat down in the middle of the room, with no support and a blank face.
  2. Everything had happened to quickly. In a flicker of psuedomotion, both crates were destroyed in a matter of moments. Kadaj then was met with a blast of lightning sending high powered volts all throughout his body. He completely lost control of all his motor functions and his body dropped to the ground like a flying ragdoll. He twitched for a few moments, paralyzed on the ground. Smoke erupted from his skin as his body soon regained it's composure. He stood up, holding his ribs and breathing heavily. He had never seen such power before, and despite the fact that he was in immense pain, he craved it. Yet, good things happen to those who wait. His next task was to report to the medical facility strangely enough. He was grateful for the break, yet he was expecting non-stop torture. He reached the medical bay only mometns later, and the droids immediatly began their daily routine. He was layed on a bed, and his shirt was removed. The next thing he knew, it was lights out. A flickering light stood over his eyes as he opened them. It had seemed like only a few moments, but in reality it was a few hours. He sat up, feeling a slight pain on his side. There was a large patch where his ribs were cracked, and his skin no longer had any burn stains. All his cuts and bruises were patched up nicely, and the droids were no working on another patient. He put his shirt back on, and continued down the hall where his master was awaiting. As he opened the door, he prepared himself for the next task...
  3. Kadaj had experienced something he had never experienced before. The Force. And now the Sith was telling him that he could manipulate the force to move objects and such. However, Kadaj was now a believer. If he could do what he just did, he could pick up objects. He used the same rage he used on his last attack on the Sith. This time, he channeled that hatred and anger towards one object. There was a smaller crate on the other side of the room. He focused on it for several seconds, and raised his hand. The crate moved, but did not lift off the ground. He exhaled, and attempted again. His failure made him now even more angrier, and with the fear of the Sith's punishment, it drove him to complete determination. He lifted his hand again, this time letting his mind go freely as though the force was now second nature. He closed his eyes, and when his hand was raised completely, he opened them. He found the crate in the air, levitating above both of them, nearly touching the cieling. He had completed the task with amazement, ye the had another plan. He threw his hand down towards the Sith and the crate followed. It soared towards the man with immense speed. Before it hit, he quickly picked up another and hurled it in the same direction, sending now two metallic crates towards the Sith..
  4. The recoil of Kadaj's knee impaling into the Sith's chest caused him to stumble backwards, nearling hitting the wall behind him. Unfortunetly, the sacrifice of recieving pain was in vain for physical attacks did nothing to the man. Kadaj kept his distance, watching as the man called upon an entity that Kadaj never believed in until now. You want hate?!....I'll give you hate! Kadaj let free his emotions. He let the rage that was kept inside of him for so long, flow freely among him. He could feel it. His body began to heat up. He felt stronger, faster, more keen by the second. He had never felt this way in his life. His anger and hatred for the man was englufing him. Soon, he had no control. Silver strands of hair started to wave, as though there was a breeze. Yet there were no windows. He could could feel the tremble of power within him; a raging river of anger rushing through his body. He began to feel it; Exactly what the man was speaking of. A power not commonly attained. Yet he felt it, from head to toe. Lets try this now.. With all his hatred, strength, will, and determination, he pushed forwards. His eyes were closed, but he could feel the power rush through his hands and out his body. A wave of force glided across the room towards the Sith. Whether it would do any damage or not, he still accomplished what he thought he could never do.
  5. Excruciating That was how immense the pain was. The fist impaling Kadaj's gut was as though a metal ball was being hurled into his mid-section. On impact, Kadaj's eyes went wide, and his body hurled over the fist. He lost breathe almost immediatly, and was gasping for air when his back hit the ground. He rolled away from the man, avoiding any more attacks. He held his gut tightly, slowly catching his breathe. He put one knee up on the ground, holding the rest of his body up. He pushed off the ground with his right hand, setting him straight. His gut was throbbing with pain, like a knife was poking inside. He tried to put the pain aside, and focus ahead of him. Now, he was mad. He had never gotten this way before, but he could feel his blood start to boil. His breathing became frantic in a matter of seconds. Within a few moments, he found himself rushing towards the man with ferocity. This time however, he didn't lunge himself at the man. He played it smart. He threw a fist forward, but kept his guard up with the other. He missed completely, but hitting him wasn't his goal. When the man dodged his fist, Kadaj sent a knee towards his gut. He felt the armor smack against his knee cap as he impaled it into the man's chest. He knew it was weak, but from the force of the hit, it had to have done something. He backed off almost immediatly, putting some space in between him and Haphaestus.
  6. It hit Kadaj before he could even react. He was only sitting there, listening to Sith before the unthinkable happened. He got to not only see the force in action, but experience it. His body was flung helplessly across the room into a group of metallic crates. He had managed to put his arm up just before the impact, saving some of his ribs. He bounced off, sending a shock of pain through his ribcage. He held them tightly, but showed no emotion whatsoever. He only stood up, still shaken on what just happened. However, before he could recollect himself, he was thrown across the room yet again. Sweeped right off his feet. His body was flung into the air, and into a second stack of crates nearby. This time, head first, with no shock resistance. All he felt was a piercing pain on the top of his head, and then the pounding of his back hitting the floor. After that, everything was blurry. He couldn't see anything. All he could hear, was the figure in the background yelling at him. "Hate me!...Hate me!" Was all he heard. Kadaj wasn't one to get angry, but he felt something strange inside of him as he got up. Anger. It was burrowing from inside him. He could feel his body start to heat up. His hands began to twitch. It was sudden. A burst of anger erupted from within him; One that he couldn't control. With blazing anger, he rushed at the figure, sending his fist with full force at the man's face, unsure where it was going to hit, or if it was going to hit at all.
  7. (Short post. Low on time. Did it to keep it moving. If you leave Haphaestus, just post taking Kadaj with you. I give you permission.) Kadaj was a little dissapointed with himself. He knew he was stronger then that, but his mind must of blanked. The Sith looked down upon him, and told him what he must do. Kadaj knew his decision even before he asked.. "I stay..."
  8. Finally, they were being sent out of the double-gravity chamber. Nearly his entire body was drenched in sweat, and his muscles ached from what seemed beyond redemption. Yet he still stood strong, ready for the next task. After all the recruits picked themselves up from their backs, the commanding officer sent them to do a different kind of work. He, and the rest of the imperial recruits exited the room and took a walk down the hallway. It was odd though. Kadaj still felt that strange feeling as he passed the mysterious figure that was standing alongside his commanding officer. He could feel him; It wasn't strong, but he felt that no matter where he went within the vicinity, he knew exactly where the figure was. He didn't say anything to him though. He didn't want him to mistaken it as disrespect. He didn't care about it that much anyway. However, something strange hit Kadaj just as he was heading down the hall. A strange feeling engulfed his body. It felt as though he was being pulled, and only a few moments later, he was. His entire body jerked back, and he nearly fell onto his back. When he regained his balance, he looked forward, and the same figure was standing there. Kadaj didn't know what to think. Was he in trouble? Has he done something wrong? He had no clue. However what he did know now was the figure was surely a Sith, or some type of force-user in that matter. Kadaj did not show any fear however, despite the fact that the figure was extremely intimidating. A sigh of relief exited through Kadaj's mouth as he told him he was relieving him of his current tasks, and ordered him to follow. So, Kadaj did without question. He followed the mysterious figure down a seperate hall and into a room that appeared to be some type of weapons cache. He told Kadaj to sit down, yet when he peered around, there was nothing to sit upon. Strange, but he would follow orders. Kadaj took a seet upon the ground, his back slightly against the wall. He wanted to speak up, but couldn't muster enough curiosity or will to do it. He only awaited patiently.
  9. Once Kadaj heard the call for pushups, he immediatly responded. Without hesitation, he dropped to his hands. His heart was pumping so hard, it almost felt as though it was hitting his chest. He could see the sweat form a puddle in front of his face, draining from his body. He hit ten in less then 20 seconds, 30 in the next minute. Yet he began to slow down. He could feel the chamber's pull start to take it's toll on him. It was as though he was doing push-ups with an 80 pound weight strapped to his back. Yet despite the pain, and fatigue, he pushed on, knowing that the commanding officer was watching. After all, the first impression is the most important one. He could see the other recruits start to wine down, deteriate before him, slowly yet gradually collapsing. Their bodies began to fail, give out. But not his, Oh, not his. Kadaj was too determined to let his body give up on him. Nothing would stop him from obtaining what he wanted. From his perspective, pain was weakness leaving the body; And if that's the case, he must of been carrying around alot of weakness. Eventually, his arms really couldn't push up any longer. Frankly, he didn't know how he was still going, or even breathing for that matter. But he did; He refused to stop, even though he had well enough passed the limit, he continued.
  10. Kadaj, along with the rest of the recruits, continued their march around the double-gravity chamber. At this point, he and most of the other imperial recruits could barely feel their legs. Kadaj remained in front however, pushing through the pain that struck his body like a plague. Nothing could ease it either, as there was barely any feeling left. He had trained no where near this intensity before; It was taking it's toll. His main goal was to seperate himself from the rest of the group. To be among the best; The most elite. To get there, he had to take the pain, the agony, and sometimes even defeat. Thats what the Empire was about. It had taken him a long time to get this point, and he wouldn't let a couple of training drills stop him from his goal. From the corner of his eye, he could see a figure walk in. Upon his entrance, Kadaj felt a strage feeling rush through him. A good feeling. Almost like he was sensing something. Without even looking at the man, he knew he had entered, or he knew he was even on his way. Although it was slight, it was quite potent. He had been told before that he could be force-senstive. But...could it be true? He thought to himself. He shook his head, and remained his course. He didn't pay much attention to the figure who seemed to be of high rank. Probably a Sith as they call them. That wasn't his goal at the moment. His true motive was holding that sniper rifle in battle, taking aim...and taking glory.
  11. (OOC: The original copy of this post was accidently deleted, therefore this copy was done with half the effort. I apologize.) The commanding officer had done her check of the simulators thoroughly. She calculated the scores, and was probably sending them up the chain of command. Kadaj wasn't worried at all. His score was great, and he could tell from the look upon the other recruit's faces that they had screwed up. Their next orders were to hurry to their rooms, change into their PT uniforms and meet back in the double-gravity chamber. The double-gravity chamber is a room where the gravity inside is multiplied. It makes it extremely hard to train in, but an excellent training method nonetheless. Quickly, Kadaj exited the simulator room and down the hall. He entered his room, threw off his clothes, and dressed into his PT uniform in a matter of minutes. He rushed down towards the gravity-chamber by following the signs down the hall. Him, and a few other recruits showed up with haste, yet the commanding officer didn't wait for the others to arrive. She quickly ordered them to commense their jog until new orders. Kadaj was the first one to begin. He started out at a slow pace, and picked it up along the way. It was almost as though he was running in deep water. It took immense force to move his legs in an even pace to keep his body from shutting down over time. Yet, even though it was hard, he kept pumping his legs and remaining ahead of the other recruits. He wanted to put himself out there; to seperate himself from the group. He didn't want to be placed in a squad, or some place where he couldn't show his full potential out on the field. He wanted to be placed among the best, if not the best. After a certain amount of laps, he lost count of how many he had ran. He only focused on staying ahead, or staying mobile in that matter. It wasn't long after before his legs began to undergo agonizing pain as though they were gradually falling off. His lungs felt as though they were going to collapse within him. His heart beated as though trying to pound it's way out of his chest. Luckily, the running stopped only moments after he had started to become extremely fatigued. He tried extremely hard not to just collapse onto the ground as some of the other recruits did. He kept his body straight up, and his breathing slow. Yet, that wasn't the end. The commanding officer immediatly set them back into their drills. Their next task was to march their usual pace.
  12. Both targets were set up perfectly. Each of them stood beside eachother, awaiting their ultimate demise. Kadaj still hesitated. His finger twitched upon the trigger, nearly pulling it through a few times. His breathing was preventing him from taking the shot, as he couldn't concentrate. He took a deep breathe, stuck his head up, and collected himself. He peeked his eye through the looking glass. Both rebel officers remained in the same position. One even looked up towards the window. This time around, Kadaj held his breathe. He rested his finger upon the trigger, and set up his shot. His crosshair moved up towards the man's torso, to his neck, and finally to his temple. Kadaj set the crosshair there for a few moments, before his eyes widened. He pulled the trigger tight. The gun recoiled slightly, bringing his shoulder back a few steps. The scope rattled, making it uncertain on whether he hit both targets or not. He quickly put his eye through the scope, and searched the room. One of the targets head exploded on impact as his body remained lifeless on the floor. Bloody remains were all over the shattered window pieces. However, he was unfortunate. The other rebel officer must of accidently moved just in the nick of time before the shot struck. He was lying on the floor. The bullet passed through his fellow comrade's head and into the other's shoulder. Immediatly, Kadaj reloaded his weapon. He set his eye back on the scope, and rested his crosshair on the target. Now, he was frantic. He didn't want the officer to escape, so he pulled the trigger fast. The bullet passed through the shards of glass still remaining on the window, and into the man's heart. Only moments later, he laid lifeless, a large seared hole in his chest. Kadaj looked up, and just as he did so, the simulation ended. His score was above average, however he was docked points from missing both targets with one shot. He took the helmet off and rested it upon the simulator. He was still breathing heavy, and silver streaks of hair rested in front of his eyes. He awaited his commandin officer to give the next orders.
  13. (OOC: Alright, I'll do it in 2 posts. I'm low on time tonight.) The recruits gathered around their commanding officer as she spoke aloud their orders for the day, or rather, for the week. He wasn't too worried about it. Three hots and a cot. Nothin' wrong with that. He was by far the best sniper here; He knew that for sure. He could tell the other recruits were here for the wrong reasons. They each grabbed a sniper rifle. It was standard, but not too shabby. He held it tightly, looking in the scope as he imagined his target in front of him. The commanding officer then ordered them to commense the simulation. It was a machine which each recruit stood in front of. They put on some sort of simulation helmet on their head. When all was ready, they were activated. Immediatly, Kadaj was thrown into a blazing battlefield. It was a rocky terrain, and he was somewhere up high. He loaded his sniper rifle, and set it up, looking inside the glass. Moments later, a voice came on inside the simulation helmet. Your orders are simple. Take out the two rebel leaders within the vicinity below you. You should be able to get a clear shot within the room. Good luck. Kadaj smiled. He could already see one inside the building, and right there, he had a clear shot. However he wanted to get both. Maybe even with one shot. He scanned the area. The bullet's only entry point was through the window. He would have to make both shots precise in order to complete his mission. It wasn't long before the other officer walked into the room, handing his fellow comrade a holopad. Kadaj readjusted the scope and looked inside. He laid there for minutes, keeping his crosshairs on the officer to the left. His breathing became heavier as he could feel the pressure push down on him. His finger started to shake, and he could feel the sweat drip down the side of his face. The shot was clear. Both of them were directly aside eachother. He started to panic. His eyes went wide, and his breathing became frantic. He moved his finger to the trigger and prepared to pull..
  14. Kadaj received an immediate wake up call as a knock could be heard on his door. Opening it, an officer yelled into his face, telling him to get dressed and meet at the parade ground. He didn't bother giving any facial expression. Just a simple nod. He dressed into his uniform quicklyy, moved out, and found himself on the parade ground only moments later. He then awaited for the next screaming officer to come around.
  15. Kadaj stood straight, listening to the two commanding officers speak to him as though he was a dog. He didn't mind however. It was nothing new. To be honest, Kadaj only joined because he was bored and he was a damn good sniper. His silver hair fell into his eyes, only leaving a slit open to see the Admiral. He wasn't very hungry, but he decided to grab a bite to eat before he went into his quarters. After the speech was done, he moved into the cafeteria, and grabbed a tray. Immediatly, a slob of what looked like vomit was slapped onto his tray carelessly. He sat way in the back, isolated from most of the other recruits who seemed to bond rather quickly. He wasn't very social, and he wouldn't bother even trying. Only moments later, he finished his disgusting food and stood up, where he walked from the cafeteria and into the base. He was given his room number almost immediatly after he was finished with his food. He followed the halls, and his room was only a couple of minutes down. He opened the door, and threw himself onto the cot. He stared at the cieling for what seemed to be hours, but really, it was less. He awaited the next orders from one of the commanding officers.
  16. The world was still blurry to me. I was seeing everything in double-vision. I could barely walk; It was only aided by the constant shoving of the other recruits behind me. I couldn't feel my arms. All I know, is they were out in front of me, reaching for something to hold on to as the air hit my face. I shut my eyes hard, and then reopened them. My vision had cleared slightly, yet faces were still a mystery to me. I could hear someone yell from behind. "Can we keep the line moving? Whats the hold up down there!" I wanted to turn around and bash his head in, but I knew there were armed guards around. Whatever they shot me with at the cantina, was strong. Really strong. I was still in a haze. Odd though; All they had to do was ask. Over the loud speaker, I could hear a stern voice telling all new recruits to await the Admiral's induction speech. Who knew how long that could take. So, I stood there, wobbling...awaiting the next step.
  17. Vash's ship sprung from the atmosphere as he quickly landed it within minutes just outside the bar. As he climbed out, he swayed his silver hair to the side, opening the bar doors. He sat at the stool. The bartender approached him, offered him a drink, yet he refused. "I don't need a drink...I need to know who I need to talk to about joining the Empire.."

Vash nodded, with a smile on his face. He ran back inside and grabbed an assorted array of things. There were some clothes, some medical equipment, some tools, and of course his weapon that he kept hidden. When his bag was full, he carried it out the door and to the landing pad. He saw the Jedi standing in front of her ship as he approached it. "I'm ready.."

Vash nodded, hoping that the hopsital would remain under control while he was gone. He was lucky, to be approached by a Jedi. He must have some unique talent. He wanted to learn to use the force to heal, but also to protect as well. "Yes...I want to become a full-fledged Jedi.."
  20. Kadaj

    Corellia

Even though Vash had never really thought about becoming a Jedi, there was always that option in the back of his mind. An option he never really set forth to look into. He wanted to help patients in a better way; on a large scale. This would be his ticket into a better way of helping people. "Alright...I am interested. I will go with you. However, Would it be wise for me to leave the hospital right now?"
  21. Kadaj

    Corellia

As he was about to head back into the medical bay and continue helping patients, he was stopped by what looked like a Jedi. "Why yes...I do...but how do you know th--" He stopped mid-sentence. "Who are you?"

The hospital became extremely busy in the last hour. Vash couldn't keep his attention on one patient, for another would approach him soon after. It was hectic; The busiest time the hospital has ever been through. The empire was the one to blame. After the invasion escalated, more and more patients rushed through like an army of ants. Vash, while mocing quickly, bumped into may doctors, nurses and Jedi. It was so bad that they were calling Jedi Healers to the hospital to help aid. He had thought of moving down the path of the Jedi, but never really took any steps in that direction. To be honest, he didn't really know who to talk to about it. When the rush soon died down, he decided to take a break. He stood in the medical facility, overlooking the patients as he relaxed before going back to work.
