Eyes: Yellow Sex: Chess isn’t telling. Distinguishing marks: A scar through the eyebrow; the fur never grew completely back. Clothing: Black, often some sort of leather and/or a hood, heavy combat boots, lots of pockets, fingerless gloves. Weapon: Two blaster pistols, flash-bang grenades, a vibro-dagger, and claws. Inventory: Ion Grenades, an assortment of poisons, a modified multitool, a datapad/commlink duo, small medpak, whipcord. Possessions: One PLNK-series Power Droid BNU-937(nicknamed Binoo) and one purple astromech droid BB-05 (aka “Oz”). A recent acquisition is an MSE-6 droid, simply called "Mouse". Non-Force User Alignment: Neutral (but a little more prone to doing ‘clean’ work as there is less bloodshed involved) Known Skills: Slicing, smuggling, lock-picking, eavesdropping, bartering, machine repair, thieving, occasional mercenary skills. Chess is a little big of a rogue with no one job description. Skills such as lock picking, smuggling, minimal bounty hunting, slicing, and the mercantile arts fall within this one’s repertoire. Chess is also an excellent liar, adept strategy gamer, and suave smooth-talker. However, Chess despises gambling, swimming, and hot climates, so trips to hot planets or ecosystems consisting of mainly water are not at the top of this one’s list. Chess also hates fighting anyone who is stronger and faster; not being a very large Cathar, if one can’t out-speed their enemy, there is little chance of success. Chess knows that a life of a rapscallion is bound to attract some enemies, so this Cathar goes nowhere without at least one blaster pistol, a multitool, and small sacks of poison sewn strategically into pieces of clothing where a simple, small puncture coats the claws. You never know if those claws will kill you, paralyze you, or simply put you to sleep. Chess has a thousand stories about their life from before. A child in a family of hundreds, or a a lonely orphan of one; a dashing escape from the death threats of some important official, or a small, simple wish to see the Galaxy beyond. There’s some pretty significant signs that Chess has been in some kind of penitentiary at some point, but good luck trying to get any information about that. Ship Name: The Minx Class: Fighter Model: Modified CloakShape (CS) Manufacturer: Kuat Systems Engineering; Curich Engineering Length: 15 meters Armaments: 2 Laser cannons, 2 Concussion missile launchers, 16 medium concussion missiles, Proton Torpedo Launchers. Amour: Deflector Shields, patches of Armored Plating Anti-Personnel Defenses: Security cameras, alarm system complete with booby traps. Appearance: All black, except for three ash-grey claw marks across the starboard wing. Modifications: Self-powered hyperdrive sled, maneuvering fin, stabilizer conversion kit, smuggling compartments and one escape pod. *My reasoning for the extensive modifications is that CloakShapes are never sold as originals; they’ve always been modified by Curich Engineering with parts such as a hyperdrive, stabilizer conversion kits, and escape pods. The ships are relatively inexpensive to buy, even after they’ve been modified, because they are a tad slow.
