Clothing and Appearance: Cynn is a striking image of his father, Xyn Ossek. He has fair skin and a slightly square jaw. He is tall, with slightly broad shoulders, also from his father.

 

His childhood was spent aiding a man in his criminal job. In the gang that the criminal was a part of, clothing told your tale. As such the young boy spent all of his earnings on his clothing, which turned into a rather intimidating display. A very high collared closefitting shirt made from dull black leather forms his base layer with full sleeves.

 

A pair of skin-close leather gloves covers his hands and entire lower arms, overlapping his shirtsleeves. They are adorned with simplistic thin silver rings on each finger and tight silver bands of the same width as his rings around each wrist. Fine silver chains connect each ring to a drilled hole in the bands. On the inside of the gloves a long slit runs down their length, bordered by closely spaced silver eyelets. A thin black leather cord treads through these holes, tied tightly in a large knot near his elbows.

 

His pants, made from a thick black canvas material, are closely held in place by a thin black leather belt that ties in the front by use of leather strings. A small computer next to an equally small leather pouch hangs from the back of the belt. The pants tuck into a pair of thin knee high black leather boots.

 

The boots are exceptionally thin and flexible, designed to not hinder movement instead of being sturdy. A thick Black cord laces the boots in the back, threading through polished steel hooks.

 

Over all his clothes rests a black hooded black cape with pinned shoulders and extra folds of fabric sown down the length of the cape. The cape is designed to completely surround and cover Cynn when his arms are to his sides. The hood comes to a point in the back, level with the top of his head. In the front the edges also form a point, weighted down by a pendent that hangs from the tip by a single silver link. The black glass pendent is shaped like a smooth, pointed leaf. It is only the size of a pea.

History: Cynn's father was a Sith and his mother a Jedi. Xyn killed the mother in a sacrifice to the Sith, and left him in the care of a man by the name of Jall. In return Jall was given barely money to take care of the boy, and permission to use the boy as he saw fit. Jall tried using the boy as soon as he could. A muscle for a local crime lord, Jall's tasks he gave to Cynn ranged from simplicity, such as watching a back door, to intimidation, when Jall wanted to have a bit of fun. Cynn began practicing using throwing razors as a weapon, as instructed by Jall. Jall thought that a small boy killing your friend by use of such a weapon would leave a mark. He was right. In his off time Cynn dreamed of who his father was, and studied. Jall didn't care if Cynn had an education, making Cynn study every chance he got, his enthusiasm shaped by his hatred for the man. His education was short of par, despite the hours he put in, because he lacked a teacher. Later, he did find a man who was willing to teach him. Cynn began doing extra jobs for the crime boss in exchange for a few credits, which he used to pay his new teacher. His teacher was a Lorrdian, who taught Cynn everything he knew.

Personality and other stuff, for reference: Laentas is slightly insane, enough to get people questioning his ideals. He was a rice farmer for a long time, or tried to be. This involved flooring his family's garden with a hose and planting rice, and keeping it flooded. It wasn't too effective. When he grew up, he finally was smart enough to leave Myrkr and start a proper rice farm. He's the type to strike someone as a wizard, though he's not Force sensitive. Very effective at slight-of-hand, and smacking people with large sticks, he doesn't let his mental condition interfere... much... with reality. (coughs) Bar the fact that he'll talk in split person. But, yes. He's also reasonably emotional when he's not talking about himself as two people.

 

Currently he's looking to make a fortune by selling rice cakes. But he might also take up smuggling if he gets bored enough.
