  1. Dominique watched the others file out of the room, glad for them to be gone. She disliked discussing sensitive matters in front of those who had no reason to even be present. Why he had brought them out of the hanger in the first place was beyond her.

”œThe Alliance and Jedi have been silent, only crawling out of their holes when someone threatens the Galaxies pseudo-peace. It's been some time since the Sith and Empire have worked together, but I wish to change that. You see, the Empire could use some new holdings and the Sith need military aid for my plans to work. Without us, the Empire would fall before the combined might of the Jedi and Alliance and without the Empire”¦The Sith would fall against them as well.”

  2. Dominique felt the arrival of several new Imperials. The lead man was sensitive to the force, but not yet trained in it. It seemed that every other person these days was sensitive to the mystical energy field that accounted for much of Dominique's power and abilities. She stood suddenly and left the room, leaving her apprentice to continue his meditations. As she made her way to the secondary bridge, she noticed that her feet felt uneven. It was as if the floor would give way at any second and swallow her up; a result of her meditation for sure.

She arrived on the secondary bridge. She looked at the various men in the room, picking out the Admiral and crossing the room towards him. Dominique was a full foot shorter then him, but that didn't bother her in the least. The impression she left the soldiers receive was that of if their eyes wondered for even a second too long she'd fry them out of their skull. The large sword that glowed with a deep blow aura, which was quite visible even to those that weren't attuned to the force, didn't help the men feel anymore comfortable around her.

”œWhat a coincidence, Admiral, I was just about to drop in and pay you a visit. To what do I owe the pleasure?”

  3. As a suggestion, I've seen some people that copy and paste the story to each post, so if someone wants to read up on it they can just read the latest post instead of the entire thread. I really like that idea, think we could do it here?

    It'd look like...'

In dreams we enter a strange world. A world filled with forgotten hopes and hidden perils, a place where nothing is as it seems, and the "good guys" don't always win. It is a place where our darker nature is revealed to us, a nature we aren't always ready to accept.

  4. Dominique drummed her fingers on the side of the Throne. She was annoyed that the Empire would respond in such a way. This”¦Admiral Macleod would have to be dealt with if he was foolish enough to think that hiding would be better for the Empire then taking a stand and taking back Cardia. He hadn't even given a reason for his refusal; he just flat out refused which lead her to believe there was some outside influence working on him.

”˜Trace the comm., see if this man was at least smart enough to proper conceal their location.'

The voice rang out in only one man's head and he sat to work, finding the origins of the comm. they had received. It as a basic comm that could have been picked up by anyone with the urge to listen it seemed. After several minutes of work she was given a slip of paper with the location on it. She could go there herself and force the Empire back here, but that'd hardly go over well and she wanted them to continue their alliance with the Sith. She would have to send someone to speak with them, someone with Imperial Ties”¦Faust

A comm is prepared and sent to the Hunter, telling him of her intentions and her problems with the Empire. She lifted her hand, fanning her fingers and called to her one of the weapon's that had been on Montar's hip. It was a single bladed lightsaber that held a special darkness, one that surpassed the darkness of many Sith. It was a relic of time past. She clipped it to her ”˜belt,' planning to store it away some place safe later on.

    ”œYou there!”

  5. A comm arrives from the Dark Lord of the Sith, calling the Empire back to Cardia. It notifies the Empire that the Sith will soon be returning to Cardia and will help solidify their position on the planet once again.

  6. Dominique pulled her attention from her thoughts and looked to Kakuto. She knew this had once been his ship when he was the Dark Lord and it had always been the ship of the Dark Lord and the head of the Warrior sect, but she was only one of those. She would need someone powerful to head up the section and his claiming of this ship merely told her that he was the one to use. The order was seriously lacking Warriors, so she didn't have much of a choice anyway.

”œThis ship here, the ship that belongs to the leader of the Warrior sect? Yes, it is yours Kakuto. I can hardly claim to be a Warrior and the ship comes along with your position.”

  7. Dominique followed Kakuto to the bridge, trying to keep pace with the tall warrior. Montar was much taller then she would have guessed, abnormally so. Perhaps so much that he would be considered a freak. She giggled at the thought of a sadistic freak. It wasn't a wonder how he had come to be a Sith with such qualities.

Kakuto wasted no time in ridding the ship of Montar in a bloody spectacular display of violence and gore”¦and all without her having to lift a single finger or ruin her complexion with a drop of the foul blood that was no sprayed all over the area that had been in front of him. She glanced around, looking at the faces of the crewmen before setting her gaze upon the throne. She raised her left hand to her mouth, letting the knuckle of her index finger touch her soft, pink lips.

    ”œLovely job, Kakuto.”

  8. A ship arrived in the system, the pilot sending a set of codes to the Imperial ship in the system and requesting permission to board. Receiving permission, the ship touched down in the docking bay. Dominique motioned for her two apprentices to follow her through the hallways. She felt the presence of two other Sith, one of them familiar, in the docking bay but paid them no mind.

She found a ranking officer trying to make his way to the bridge of the ship. She spoke to him for several minutes, finding out what had been happening on the ship for the past few weeks. Apparently even with the new Dark Lord nothing had happened save for the collection of a few meaningless animals. She was hardly amused with the way things had been going since Kakuto had left the Galaxy proper, but with a quick scan of the force she felt him on this very ship.

She made her way to him, finding him speaking with one of the crew it appeared; probably trying to seduce the poor man. The order was, after all, full of queers. She approached him, gaining his attention and speaking.

”œThat boy Montar is doing a horrible job, you know. I don't think you'd be interested in retaking the Mantel so I ask you support me taking it and actually doing something with it.”

  9. Dominique spent much of the night working at the dagger, imbuing it with the power she desired. The weapon was extremely potent and as such was a last resort in a tight spot. Using it anymore then that would risk ruining it and possible side effects that she didn't wish to explore. She put the weapon away and moved to the turbolift. The woman could detect the traces of emotions before she say the colors swirling vibrantly down the hallway, leading her towards the rooms of her apprentices.

Satisfaction pulled her towards Viktor, confusion and restlessness towards Atia. It appeared that each of them had made it out in decent shape, but Viktor had succeeded in keeping her mind distracted after the fight. What he had said or done, she didn't know, but it was amusing that he seemed to get to the girl. Dominique knocked on Viktor's door, touching his mind with the force and alerting him that it was time to get up and get ready. Knowing he would know just what to do, she moved to Atia's room and opened the door.

Standing in the doorway, leaning against the right side of it, she touched the girl's mind as she spoke.

”œGet up. It's time we leave this place.”

  10. Viktor gritted his teeth. He didn't let the pain show, but he felt it. His eyes were blurred and he had a headache from hell, but neither would stop him from finishing the fight-despite knowing that fighting in such conditions with a weapon as dangerous as a lightsaber could prove fatal. His saber had escaped his grip during the fall, but a quick extension of the force called it back to his left hand as he pushed himself up with his right.

”œFrom the sound of it, you've had enough.”

  11. He smirked as she took the bait. He could smell the singed top as it was split up the middle to reveal his abs as droplets of sweat rolled down them. He rolled his left shoulder, removing one side as his weapon switched hands and he removed the other side. The outer wear was merely a hindrance, so in reality she had merely helped him.

”œI suppose it's always good to seek release sometimes, but you might be careful to do it in such a manner.”

  12. Viktor crashed into the wall, his saber deactivated before he could slam into it. The instant his back met the thick, unmovable wall it arched forward in pain as the nerves all up and down his spine were lit aflame with pain. He grunted an stood up, a smile still on his stern features. He held his lightsaber to his palm using only his thumb as he stretched and began walking forward. Three steps into his walk the vermillion blade was alive and glowing again.

”œIt must be, normally I'm much more graceful then this.”

  13. The girl was good with a saber, but he had spent long nights practicing his kata's and honing his body's natural strength and skill. She relied on the force, as he did, but in the end he would surpass her due to the tireless training he had already endured. He had only stumbled back, rather then falling onto his back so her statement was rather foolish”¦but rather then point it out; he'd try to capitalize on something else he felt would get to her.

He shook his head, offering her a wicked smile as he twirled his weapon and walked forward towards her. He obviously wasn't going to assault her just yet, but he kept his guard up in case she decided to attack him.

”œYou're much better then I thought you would be.”

  14. Viktor extended his hand, twisting his now activated weapon. The vermillion blade cast a faint glow onto his face in the dimly lit room. He enjoyed basking in its glow as he watched the female switch her weapon on. His hazel eyes stared into her milky white orbs, knowing that despite her obvious blindness she could see him as well, if not better, than any other person would be able too.

    ”œDon't you think it's obvious?”

  15. Viktor positioned his crystal, adjusting it several times before he felt that it was set properly. He took the time to make a few minor modifications to his weapon and adjust a few more things before clipping it to his belt and standing up. He looked at Atia and her ignited weapon before walking past her and into the turbolift.

When the turbolift door slid open, Dominique was standing there. Before he could say anything she had pulled his weapon off of his belt to inspect. She spent five minutes looking it over, testing its weight, and doing various other things before tossing it back to him and motioning for him to ignite it so she could see if it functioned properly rather then blow up in his face.

He held it out at arm's length, horizontally, and ignited it. A vermillion blade erupted into life with all the brilliance of any other lightsaber. It's low hum sounded just right and it didn't explode in his face; it would suit him fine. Dominique looked to Atia's already ignited blade noting that it hadn't blown up in her face either.

”œFind a room on the surface and learn to use those weapons.”

  16. With his crystal forged, Viktor set to work on working a sheet of phrik into a tube casing for his lightsaber. The crystal itself had taken at least four hours to rid it of all of its impurities and have something that would be useful. He hoped that the hilt wouldn't take as long, but knew it wouldn't matter. He'd work as long as it took to get a quality weapon out of his work.

  17. Dominique found a lavish room and claimed it as her own. She had no real personal effects or anything like that, but that didn't matter. There wasn't a soul on this planet that would dispute her claim to a room that had been empty for ages. The species that had lived here had been considerably intelligent and she was not sure why the Sith felt they should die. Such mindless violence was surely only brought into play to sate the blood lust of the heathens.

She found the bed and tossed herself onto it, curling up for a good nights sleep while her apprentices worked tirelessly.

    __

Viktor began work on his weapon, gathering the needed materials for his crystal first and beginning to forge it. The process would be long and tiring, but once it was done he had a lot more work ahead of him still. He was thankful that he had slept on the way here.

  18. The ride had been a quiet one, with Viktor retreating to his quarters and Dominique to hers. After having a bite to eat, she felt rest was in order. She hadn't slept since she had last been at Silence and without the force she would have already collapsed from exhaustion. When they finally arrived in system, it was Viktor that brought the ship into orbit and down onto a landing pad. He wasn't the best pilot and as such his landing wasn't exactly graceful thanks to the torrential rain obscuring his view and threatening to toss the ship around like a rag doll.

After the ship touched down, Dominique moved towards the exit. She nodded to both Viktor and Atia when she noticed they were waiting for her, and then moved out of the ship. The force surrounded her, keeping her dry. Viktor, while having the ability to do the same opted to just let the rain pelt his form. Both of them had cleaned up during the ride and were wearing new clothes now. Dominique's were still black and tight, but a cloak covered much of her body and hid the fact of how tight her clothes were.

Once inside, she found silence and stopped for a moment to enjoy it before she spoke.

”œYou've both come a long way in your training. It is here that you will construct your weapon.”

  19. Dominique's eyes focused on the woman who had the gull to invade her mind when she could have just spoken as others did. Perhaps she was the type that relied to heavily on the force, or perhaps she was just too lazy to use her mouth. Regardless, she didn't appreciate it. Her words told Dominique much about the woman and only made her a bit more eager to take her leave. Dagon hadn't given any objections, so she felt now would be the time to take her leave.

As she passed Kaylynn she spoke quietly to her, pausing only long enough to speak.

”œDarkness hasn't a need to state that it is darkness; it simply is.”

  20. Dominique's cold eyes took in the appearance of the new arrival. She seemed to know Dagon and have an innate connection to this planet, otherwise she'd have been dead before ever making it this far. Regardless, though, she was merely another person. Dominique wasn't a fan of being around men, but she enjoyed the company of women even less; back stabbing, clawing, and whiney little things. They were below her.

She watched as both Dagon and Kaylynn pulled a deep drink from the chalice. Their auras were drastically changed by the drink of the blood. Black lines criss-crossed the other colors she could perceive around them. The woman barely made use of her empathetic abilities as she had when she was younger, but they were always there showing her things that others wished to hide. Her lightly colored eyes turned to focus on Dagon as she spoke.

”œI have things I must tend to, will you be needing me further or shall I take my leave?”

  21. Dominique's eyes, once so full of life and energy but no cold and cruel, gazed upon the black chalice. The embodied entity spoke of a power that was quite appealing, but to drink of a chalice that she knew nothing of could be considered foolish. There was always the chance, however slight, that she had been led her with the intention of being murdered but as she dwelled for but a moment on the thought she found that she came up starkly indifferent on the subject.

The small framed woman took two steps forward and accepted the chalice with both hands. The force radiated off of the item in pulsing waves when she held it. The fluid inside was thick and merely a shade lighter then the chalice itself.

    Blood

She lifted it up slowly. The contrast between her colorless features, save the light pink shade of her lips, and the deep scarlet of the blood and the black chalice were immense. She tilted it, drinking in a gulp of the blood and letting the salty, metallic flavor of the fluid wash over her taste buds before turning and offer it to Dagon. Surprisingly, her face didn't have a drop of blood on it despite the angle she had tilted it too.

  22. Dominique raised an eyebrow, but the rest of her face remained expressionless. The female that stood before them had once been as they were? That meant there was a chance that one day she would end up just like this powerful entity. Such a prospect was both frightening and alluring at the same time.

”œHave you called us here to impart knowledge then?”

  23. The haunting, almost creepy eyes of the woman were the opposite of Dominique's brightly lit, lightly colored eyes. There clothes were not dissimilar though, as both were dark clothes that matched the darkness that was concealed within each of them. She stayed close to Dagon, not wishing to offend the figure that seemed to be an embodiment of the planet.

When Dagon and she came to a halt, she looked to him expecting him to speak with the woman as he seemed to know what he was doing.

  24. Dominique followed Dagon quietly, observing the city in all of its perverse glory. She could feel the arrival of Revan back on the planet as well as a second, unknown figure, but they were hardly interesting. The young woman was far more concerned with where she was being lead. Her steps were silent as she fought back her curiosity and kept her guard up. Her weapon sat on her back, it's aura a part of hers. Both were tiny blips on the radar compared the sheer power the planet itself possessed.

Could he be leading me to another power?

She rolled her shoulders and brushed a lock of her raven hair out of her face, quickening her pace at the same time. They had found something back on Mon Calimari, but had yet to ”˜open it up' so to speak. If her thoughts were correct, then soon she would have not one, but two skills to go along with her shadow craft.
