Posting the "concept"
I formally request that I, Raven Nyquist, will take on the role of the Non-Player Character (NPC) in the Star Wars Role Playing forums on Jedi.net.
What the NPC will do is provide a Wild Card to the RP and make things much more interesting. I could be a terrorist, a ship, a Jedi Master, a bounty hunter, a wizard, a bartender, even a bunch of Ewoks.
What this Wild Card will do is make a change in a thread, possibly to level the playing field for weaker opponents or even tip the scales to one person's side for the time being. I will be fair, and I will not pick on one group over another for that is not the nature of the way I RP.
As the NPC, I will not be subject to one-post kills and will follow the rules of posting as per a normal character. Essentially, one warning post before something happens. However, I will be vague and you will not know what is coming. The RP mods will know about what I'm doing by way of a PM to all of them.
I cannot be killed (meaning: username), but the NPC's I create can be killed in normal RP style.
Also, as the NPC I will not take on another RP character. I am simply here to spice things up.

Believe me, these interactions will not hurt storylines too much - unless we deem it necessary to do so. What this character will do, in short, is enhance your story. If you've thought of a well-conceived trap, why does it have to be revealed? Guaranteed you can use it again.
I will read far back into the goings-on of threads to ensure you won't be disappointed... however complaints are everyday here... and I expect them. The biggest reason why I want to have your approval is that you know I'll be around instead of coming in and destroying whole lines of thought with a character. Besides, nothing will happen without me at least consulting the moderators once or twice.
The BEST RP's have a wild card in them, a person who can make your character go through a story with a surprising twist, and find your way out of it. Adjusting to the storyline is what a character's supposed to do - the storyline isn't supposed to adjust to a character! This is why I propose NPC's - to add the spice into this RP so you have to navigate instead of character-building.
And you'll never see it coming.
