  1. Ichigo awaited his friend's response, but it seemed that to no avail he would receive any from the man who had saved his life, who had thrust him into a world of prospect, and who, it seemed, would give his own life for the young man who stood at the threshold of being a Jedi. He had dreamt of going to this path for years, it was his purpose in life, to serve justice in his mother's sake. She had died at the hands of the dark, of the evil, of men like the Emperor. It would be a great injustice and would pester the boy for the rest of his days had he not done something, had he not joined the Jedi, and created peace where the murderers of his departed mother only ensured chaos and hopelessness. He could not allow himself to return to Myrkr, to waste in the deserted planet, while his true future awaited him mere meters below where he was standing now. As much as he desired to help his friend complete his task, this was a fork in the road, and the decision was made well before Ichigo had arrived at it. Ichigo listened carefully to the response of the Zabrak, taking it in only skin deep, not only was the context of such a thing not the words of the man he had grown to know and trust, but his tone was one of shattered hope, and shielding. Ichigo knew it all too well, he had done it for many years, to his family to hide the sickness of his torment upon his mother's death. He looked to An-dur and could not speak, for the man was already moving before him, not desiring to be spoken to, Ichigo understood the conflict of desire and duty, it was the reason he was standing on this planet, rather than overlooking construction on Myrkr. Ichigo allowed him to pass and wander the halls of emptiness and keep to himself for a bit, Ichigo knew how it felt to feel as if the world could not understand your torment; to be truly alone in the sense of emotion. Ichigo wished he could reach out and tell his friend all the words he wished to hear during all his depressing moments, but then again, he knew better, it had to be solved by yourself not others. Ichigo began to follow An-dur again, as not to lose track of him, but still kept a distance so that he could have his peace with himself. Ichigo was unsure of how An-dur would deal with the struggle, would he let it get to him as Ichigo had done for years, to the point where he willingly bashed his own fingers into the pavement? Or would he be able to find companions to whom he could trust entirely as Ichigo had found in him? Only time would tell, and hopefully Ichigo would be there to save him in either choice. Eventually the two began to go around a corner and An-dur stopped and began to breathe deeply, Ichigo was unsure of his intention, perhaps it was something taught to him by his adoptive father, Either way it had seemed to have done its job, for An-dur's eyes flickered in an instant and he guided the two down a path which led into a room filled to the brim with robed men and women. A room filled with Jedi. Ichigo looked to his own demeanor, his jacket, shirt, scarf and sunglasses and thought he was a bit out of place next to all these people. At least he was fashionable on his own planet in his own way. But here, he felt completely stuck to his clothes, and felt like a beacon in a sea of tans, browns, whites and blacks. Yet Ichigo soon forgot of all this and could feel a rush of air fill his lungs, it was the freshest air he ever had in his life, and just having it be a part of him seemed to calm his senses, and cure him of all his insecurities at that moment. It was a brilliant feeling to have, to be uplifted beyond that of the normal beings of this world until the point where you yourself ascend to a plane on equal with something bigger than yourself. It had to be the Jedi, and this feeling must be the work of the force. Ichigo's elation was soon brought to an end as he was reminded by An-dur of how little he knew of the man who had sent him the comm. Who was Aryian Darkfire? What did he look like? Was he even a he? Ichigo's eyes went blank for a moment, and then he realized how easily solveable the problem was. ”œI have no clue,”
  2. Ichigo took his way out of the ship and had a look about the planet of Manaan and flickered to the nearby Eternal Vigilance. The tranquility of the place was amazing, and to be surrounded by as many Jedi as they were felt calming, peaceful, on the throes of such tenacity and greatness. He could only hope he would become as great as these Jedi, it was his destiny, and his way of making up for lost time, for his mother, for the tragic fate of his family. He would return to them a new man in time. "I have no idea where he would be, what he would look like, or even his lightsaber's color. a complete mystery An-dur, but thats what's going to make it fun, besides, his comm made him sound quite important, and he is a Jedi Master, he shouldn't be too hard to find. Aryian Darkfire. He'll probably be doing something fun or waiting for me, perhaps even with other pupils who admire him. Ya never know." Ichigo swayed off the ship, not realizing how much of a ride An-dur had given them both and smiled as he regained his balance and kept forward moving to the Submarine, and seeing the bustle of many Jedi below. "I'm sure he is in here, even if he isn't other Jedi are, and I will ask one of them. Who knows perhaps we can find you a master too An-dur, unless you want to go back to Myrkr?"
  3. ((I was said to come here by Aryian Darkfire)) "I had such an amazing dream, I can't really remember a lot of it, but I feel really prepared for this whole Jedi thing. This is an opportunity so many dream of, and of all people I was selected." Ichigo looked to his friend and smiled appropriately. He was happy that An-dur was there, that the two of them would be allowed to be in the presence of those they wished to become. "This is going to be great, who knows, maybe you will find a master while we are down there."
  4. Ichigo didn't have much to do during the trip to Manaan, and after a short while of staring out into the blueness of hyperspace he gave his friend a pat on the shoulder and got up from his seat making his way to his cabin so that he could get some shut eye before he arrived for training with his master. It was still hard to believe a Jedi had sent word for him to be trained, how he had known of Ichigo's existence was odd enough, it must have been the moment he had been isolated from the rest of his populous that he was found and thus this master sent him a message as soon as his tremor was felt. Ichigo was happy to be found trainable by the Jedi, but alas, he was unsure it was his path to choose. He felt that something elsewhere was lurking, awaiting Ichigo to find it and become one with it. However, all this philosophy amongst other things was beginning to make Ichigo's headache and he finally laid down on his bed, allowing the stress of all the forecoming, and what he was leaving behind to roll over him and leave him with nothing but the placidness of a comfortable mattress and a pillow. He began to drift into a sleep, allowing his body to regenerate the energy he would undoubtedly need in the time ahead of him. Ichigo was walking amongst the surface of a planet with rolling hills and valley, with meadows and plains as far as the eye could see. Such wonderful scenery gave him a feel of the serenity of life, and he stood there and embraced it in full. He began to allow the warm sunset take his body, and give it new light and allowed himself to just stand and enjoy this rarely enjoyed feeling. The wind began to chill just softly, rustling through his orange hair and giving him a slight cool off int he heat of the dramatic sun. However, he was not alone, the footsteps of another soon came forward to him and he looked up to see another man standing beside him. This one was dressed in all white, with a black undershirt beneath his jacket. His hair was lank and dark, and he just stood there as well taking in the same thing Ichigo had been. He looked model, someone anyone could envy, someone anyone could see as a hero. "This is pleasant isn't it Ichigo. It has been sometime since I saw you last, only then you were not able to see me or hear the words I spoke, you were not ready for my wisdom then, but now it appears you are able to comprehend everything I have said, and thus it may be time for me to reveal myself, and guide you to your path." Ichigo just stared blankly at this man. He was kind-faced, with his long hair wept back with but a few strands remaining in front of his face giving him a face of power, but also one of charm and trust. Ichigo was unsure of his words, but he did feel familiar, his presence made him feel more at home with himself. Who was this man, and when did he last meet him. "My name is Rivan. I am the one who will guide you to a path only you out of so many have been selected for. This honor has only been given to a select few over hundreds of years, I was awaiting you to come of age Ichigo. You have a power to become more than anyone before you, but to do this you must recognize the force as it is. This is why you will train to become a Jedi. "Some see the Jedi as weak honor-bound selfless hero-driven fools. I however do not. The Jedi have a power no other could ever understand, the power of righteousness the power of determination at any cost. To protect what you hold dear, not for the sake for fighting spirit, but for those who may be just strangers to you. Such a trait is admirable, and it is my desire that you become a great Jedi Knight Ichigo. Can you do that for me?" Ichigo could not help but be swayed by the man's words. His voice was soothing and he seemed to be so calm and serene about all of his points that it would be hard not to be persuaded to do what his will was. Ichigo, was no fool however, and he saw reason in the words of Rivan. He looked to the man and nodded. "I will be a Jedi Knight, not only for your Rivan, but for me." Rivan smiled, "Good. Now wake up Ichigo Kurosaki, your journey is about to begin." Ichigo woke up more calm and more invigorated than he was before he slept, all his doubts were cleared, all his thoughts were at ease, and he was now ready to begin the training many wished for. He got up and went to the cockpit to see An-dur already waiting for him. "Did you get some rest too?"
  5. Ichigo looked over the locker seeing the assortment of weaponry only making him wonder where the hell An-dur got it all. He did not need weaponry, if An-dur thought that Ichigo was only handling himself with a katana, the Zabrak was sorely mistaken, and would be shown the beautiful sleek, durasteel weapon remaining in the holster built into his jacket. Ichigo shut the doors to the locker, allowing his mind to settle one last time on the blasters, and allowed a smile to go over his face. "Blaster as too unreliable, too inaccurate for my taste An-dur, I use a more archaic weapon to dispose of my opponents from a range." Ichigo reached within his jacket and grabbed the cold steel of his weapon, and could feel its power flow into him, it was such a magnificent piece of art, as well as a weapon, it felt like a piece of Ichigo himself was in that weapon, and indeed it did serve him well at times. He pulled it out and flashed it in front of his friend. "This weapon, has three separate barrels, all stacked atop of one another. Its silver look to it allows it to remain the looker of a justice maker, instead of the grungy weaponry one sees on the street. This gun, was fashioned by a man on the planet of Kasai, and was brought to me through random trades made in the streets of Fondor. It is older than this ship most likely, and the bullets within it are as old as I am. I have yet to need replacement bullets, though I do always have a few extra clips of ammunition. Much more accurate than blasters this little guy, I wouldn't trade it in for anything." Ichigo listened to his friend explain the situation, and he jumped down as soon as he could his gun at the ready and he stood by his friend and the two began to move along the perimeter of where the building would be before them.
  6. Ichigo looked to the new place An-dur seemed so enthused about and Ichigo could see why he would think such a place supreme. It not only had the availability for them to set up there, but it also had the look of a Smuggler's Den. Ichigo could do nothing but smile when he saw it realizing in full that the path he had chosen alongside An-dur would be one of infinite possibility and perhaps even be a bunch of fun for him. The place looked historical, but that was the glory of being there anyhow. Ichigo was surprised to heat An-dur mention something about price, and when his tone had changed from the lack-luster one he knew, to one of business and appropriation, Ichigo could not help but laugh, the first time he had shown such as human trait in front of An-dur. "Cost?! We are smugglers now! If there is no one there how could they possible think of charging us for it? We are above some laws now, and this place looks as if the last 50 years have gone by without inhabitance. Its ours now, no one will contest that." Ichigo continued to laugh and got up from his seat on the ship and began to go toward the back when he stopped at the cockpits doorway. "I'm going to begin unloading our supplies we have here onboard, which isn't much honestly, so if you and I get in here and finish it up, we could be done in a matter of moments. What do ya say?"
  7. Ichigo did not reply to his friend, the time for words on his account had ended in this conversation, though there were many words Ichigo would have liked to have noted, yet as in all things, he must accept the way things are, and move past them otherwise he would find himself wallowing in the sea of despair once more, a fate he does not wish to surround himself with ever again. He would have to stand strong and accept the status quo at times, or his constant struggle for justice will only cause injustice. To learn of the man's Jedi ambitions was something new to Ichigo, as it was the ambition of his own heart. His heart had settled on that the moment the Sith had tore his mother to pieces and henceforth he had trained himself. Though he didn't look it, Ichigo was a strong individual. He was fit, and could easily hurtle many things others would consider impossible. His abilities to fight by hand gained him notoriety on Fondor as a troublemaker, and it caused a few lapses of turmoil for him with the authorities. Yet he has never achieved his maximum potential, his heart, as well as his mind, have never both found it in their all to be used, and thus they have been wasted on attacks which never wield their users full power. This is why Ichigo is still considered weak, and it would be one of the many things in his future to which he would need changed. As for his strength and skill with the blade he owned and held so dear, it was an admirable thought for him to believe himself proficient, but nonetheless, a boy of but sixteen has little experience in the matter and overestimates his own abilities. He could hold his own to protect his life, he could hold his own to protect his friends. But he could never win. Not yet, his strength has not compiled to such a thing, he has yet to realize this strife in his own abilities, but he will soon. "I believe that if you and I should spar, I would at least survive."
  8. Ichigo was surprised to hear of such darkness within not only An-dur's past, but in An-dur himself. Ichigo could do nothing more than just sit and listen to his friend closely. Though the act An-dur did was one that was despicable, for anyone could have bought that ship from the Empire and usually it is the poor who do because the Empire sells them cheaply to make space on their fleet, Ichigo could not feel any sort of hate for what he did, only sympathy. Perhaps it was their friendship that made such possible, made it so Ichigo could forgive him for such crimes, but in those few moments of silence Ichigo just said nothing but tried to empathize with An-dur. And at last he raised his eyes to meet the Zabrak's. "Aside from your orphaned childhood I guess we are a lot alike. We have both been witness to slaughter and turmoil, primarily by the hands of the Sith and their Empire. I really am not sure what I would have done in your position An-dur, but if it helped you find the solace you so desired that is good." Ichigo paused for a moment and looked over the landscape again allowing it to calm his senses. This place would be good for now, but Ichigo didn't like it here, just the gut feeling, that missing piece of himself made him feel uncomfortable here, other than that the place was superb and he hoped that sometime that feeling would fade, or he would understand it. "So should we begin to set up camp, because I want to get this ship sailing. Sitting around here will get boring eventually."
  9. "Yeah, well I had parents, but now it is just my father," Ichigo said looking into the horizon again at the blank sky. Somehow its cloudless appearance made everything easy to take, it was calming, and warming to Ichigo's soul, or perhaps that was the fact they were in a desert and he was still wearing a scarf, either way he felt nicer when trying to pass the pain of his own past even when he could feel in the air that An-dur was also trying to do the same. "My father and my two younger sisters both live on Fondor, they were all happy, and it seemed that they tried their best to move on with life after the incident. My father was a Doctor, he managed a small clinic on the planet and gave aid to anyone who ventured in need. He is a good man, one many would be happy to have for a father, my two younger sisters, Karin and Yuzu, both are still in their primary school years and continue their lives. I had a good life there, but for me I could not move past, my heart still ached, perhaps it was because I was 5 years older than my siblings and I remembered it more, but I could never subdue my feelings of vengeance. "My mother was murdered by the Sith. I was 11 years old, and I saw it fully. They had no reason, my mother was carrying home some fruits that had just come in from the Corellian Exotics Corporation, and they just stabbed her, and removed her limb from limb. It was a bloody carnage, and I could always see it in my mind. None of the rest of my family saw this happen, none of them saw her killed but me. Therefore it is my responsibility to enact justice upon them." Ichigo looked onward, allowing An-dur to digest all of this, so he knew his friends plight, before asking him a question, though may cause similar discussion, had to be done. "What happened to you?"
  10. "Firstly, only my mother and sisters called me Ichi. I would prefer it if it would stay in the female gender, unless you're one of those...kind." Ichigo said flicking his wrist in a way to regard homosexuality, "From the way you acted toward Aayla in the cantina, I doubt you are, but if you are...I guess you can." Ichigo winked and stared out the window at the barren sky, only on the horizon could a forest be seen, but beyond that there was nothing. It was a barren wasteland this planet, perfect for smuggling of course, but there was an eerie sense about it nonetheless. "Why pick this place for our base of operations? Don't you feel odd here, kind of sickly, like something you had all you life had vanished? I don't understand it but this place makes me feel as if part of me died."
  11. Ichigo awoke from the bed feeling a bit nauseous from the whole ordeal of being moved around so much in the past few days. He could not see why An-dur saw him as such an asset, perhaps it was both of their desires to become part of the Jedi, or perhaps it was the inner desire to good for one another. Ichigo wasn't sure what it was, and the more he thought on it, the more he doubted the good solutions, and wallowing on ones which torment the mind and cause him to lament his decision to be at An-dur's side. And what of the Jedi? Did they not usually seek out new more powerful beings nearly the moment they enter the Outer Core? Why had they not come for him? And how about Mara? She was turned and taken by the Sith? Are all the Jedi so weak? If so why would Ichigo wish himself to be one with them? Ichigo threw his hands into his orange hair and allowed the spiky texture of it to flow between his fingertips as he tried to think of something more logical, something that would solve this conflict of the brain and of the heart. He knew he could not join the Sith, they were the enemy, they were who Ichigo had plotted vengeance against long ago. He would not accept them, he would not become one of them, he would fight them till the day he died. There was no question on his resolve of that, it was already decided. But in his mind, the Jedi were not as logical as they once were. IF not them and not the Sith, then who? His mind was a pestering thing. Thus, he shut it off for a bit and ventured to the cockpit and saw An-dur there, looking to be in great concentration. Ichigo did not say anything but sat beside him and awaited him to be done. "Sorry for not being more of a help. Lots of things on the mind, but I am prepared to commit myself to this crew."
