  1. An alert had long informed the Black Sun of information having been gone through concerning a former asset and an investigation team had been sent. When they arrived at the origins of the search, they were met with a massacre. Tu'can'ra, or Tusker, was the lead agent, the Tusken draped in a black and white variant of her Tribe's garb and carrying a stun baton rather than the ancient weapon of her ancestors. And hanging from her back was a modernized slug rifle. Even before she dismounted the speeder, she could tell that it mimicked the actions of her people, but something was quite different this particular attack as she scanned the movements and directions from which it originated. It was too quick, too focused.

Reaching down her hip as the others dismounted, Tusker swung open the stun baton, its clanking surely signaling the one inside as the electrical currents sparked and hummed with activation. Slowly moving toward the farmhouse' entrance, her gloved hand opened the door.

  6. Dark Phoenix

Dark Phoenix is a modified hyperspace transmission relay commissioned by R3-M0 during his rise to leadership over the Black Sun, modified to contain his AI, and connected to real space via receiver mainframes based at each of his Vigo headquarters. A decommissioned R3 unit is stationed at each of these mainframes, preserved to serve as temporary hosts to his AI in the event of his actual presence being needed in real space.

Uploading and downloading the AI of R3-M0, like any computer, takes time to properly decompress and unload the vast amount of files that make up its memory, and as such takes sole priority during its transmission and is incapable of transmitting anything outside the AI its self. For this purpose, R3-M0 had black boxes installed into each R3 unit, operating separately from the unit with it's own backup power cell beneath a nearly indestructible casing as to ensure that his AI can properly stream its memory to Dark Phoenix without interference when the unit is destroyed or falls inactive.

As described above, due the sheer amount of time and functionality it takes to collect and process the data during uploading and downloading of the AI, R3-M0 rarely transmits himself, instead choosing to transmit his motives to his Vigos and work through them as the mind behind the scenes, remaining within Dark Phoenix.

  7. Summary

You want to know the secret to the Black Sun? It is a simple one really. With war, comes opportunity, and with opportunity comes wealth, with wealth comes influence, influence comes power, and with power comes infamy. Infamy is where most of the criminal underworld dies out. But for the Black Sun, the eternal eclipse, it remains in the dark, hidden amongst the shadows, unknown. Their power is in the everlasting tides of war, profiteering from the underworld and ensuring that the conflict never ends. They forego the need for power by using their influence to keep prying eyes away with conflict and their wealth flowing. Greed is a fickle thing, but rise above it, and you will see their path more clearly.

    Unknown Philosopher

    History

After the utter defeat at Dark Sun, Zalis and R3-M0 turned their attention toward their shared past with that of the Black Sun. For too long had it attempted to remain a militia capable of taking on the likes of the controlling governing bodies. This had not bolded well for their profits nor for their consumers. So instead, they chose to let it die and find its rebirth in the shadows. Disappearing from the Galactic front, Zalis and R3-M0 began to reestablish old contacts and allies. Through them, the networks began to slowly and silently realign. Smuggling, Slavery, Piracy, these were their greatest strengths and as such, would be their main focus.

But this wouldn't be their final act. Once the Operations were up and running amidst the Galactic Backdrop, they would turn their eyes to further the conflict between the Sith Empire and forming Rebel Alliance, playing one side against the other, ensuring the cash and supplies would keep flowing and their influence growing. They knew that as long as the conflict remained, they could capitalize on the need for supplies. And rather than portraying themselves as a military might, it would better serve them to simply remain profiteers. And this would open more doors for them in the future.

Hunters could be hired out for bounties or contract assassinations. Smugglers could be hired out for their ships or for acts of piracy. And with the Rebels and Sith Empires at each other's throats, crime could grow rampant and profitable. This would be the rebirth of the Black Sun, rising from the ashes like a phoenix from what once claimed it.

Kill - If the writer of the PC and/or NPC chooses death or refuses to cooperate OOCly, then a win reverts to a Kill Situation and the three day rule applies without question.

Ransom - If the writer of the PC and/or NPC chooses the Ransom option, the three day rule applies but death is overlooked and the Black Sun acquires a hefty sum for the return of the PC and/or NPC.

Capture/Interrogation - If the writer of the PC and/or NPC chooses the Capture/Interrogation option, the three day rule applies, death is overlooked, and OOCly information is exchanged ICly before release at the end of the three days unless otherwise pre-plotted for additional interaction before release.

No-Matter Release/Informat Release - If the writer of the PC and/or NPC chooses either the No-Matter Release or Informant Release, the three day rule will apply depending on the OOCly agreement. If the No-Matter Release (also known as a walk away ending) is chosen, the PC and/or PC is instantly released via either pod or walking away, leaving the opponent severely wounded. If the Informant Release is chosen, then the three day rule is applied ICly to implement the cover of the capture before being released in semi-healthy form. This way the informant is released without suspicion, and able to continue on with their usual duties.

  8. The Setting

All across the Galaxy, war is raging on. The Galactic Alliance has all but tumbled after the fall of Coruscant. The Zinthos Empire and fabled Imperial Knights felt the Sith Imperial might at Kuat. And the Jedi self righteousness has face scrutiny after the slaughter of the Dark Sun Station and dealt the Black Sun a devastating blow. Only the Sith Empire remains strong amidst the crumbling backdrop that has became the Galaxy we live in, even as the Jedi, Zinthos Empire, and Galactic Alliance attempt to join forces and reclaim their stance.

Yet, there is still a spark of life left in the criminal underworld, whispers in the shadows echoing a rebirth of the Black Sun, forged from the flames of chaos and etched in the minds of the diabolical. Old Alliances became renewed, transgressions of the former war drawn era corrected, and the criminal underworld began to flourish once again even as the war between the Sith Empire and Rebel Alliance waged on.

Distracted, the underworldly economy was ripe for the taking. Career Smugglers, Slavers, Hunters, Pirates… all found a new freedom outside the Galactic war. Opportunities were abound. And this where the Black Sun reclaimed their ancestral rights as Kings. With such opportunities ripe for the picking, they struck, claiming all in one fell swoop.

Former Operatives and Agents from around the Galaxy would amass under the Black Sun banner once again, claiming territories and Markets as the flames swept across its map. Nothing was sacred and all was for the taking. With war, there was profit. And in the current Galaxy, it was abundant, lest someone grow too hungry for power.

    The Rise

After the fall at Dark Sun Station, the Black Sun fell into disarray. Its military was absorbed into the Sith Empire under its former Commander, Delta, leaving Zalis Krales to pick up what remained. It was during this time that she met R3-M0, and together, began putting the pieces back together. She had the knowledge of old contacts, and R3-M0, more commonly known as Remo, had the workings of a calculated droid and a personality to match. Together they sought out not to just rebuild the Black Sun, but to ensure its existence for another ten thousand years. So began their journey together.

Zalis was a woman of wonder, seductive and cruel, capable of getting what she wanted with little effort. But she was made for the more luxurious life, not as the head of a Crime Syndicate. So as R3-M0 and her travels to rebuild carried on, she began to see the prospect of legitimizing herself and serving as a Corporate Face and someone with cold and calculated thoughts like R3-M0 being more fitted to better serve as leader. A win/win for the two, if you will, and consummating a symbiotic relationship between them. Through her ways of getting what she wants, and Remo's artificial nature, the Black Sun could truly rise from it's former ashes and return to the top of its purpose.

Are you ready to follow in their steps?

  9. The Agent laughed loudly and slammed the drink down upon the bar. Fegelein had to give the furry girl some points, but this was definitely not the agreement. But she had gotten the point of the adventure, and the meeting between Black Sun and the Gangaglow conglomerate could be brokered through this third party.

“Be careful girl, lest you tread where you are not wanted. We do not care for gels applied to alien behinds, but a proper arrangement between them and the Black Sun to the benefit of all of us can be made. We want his expertise in medical and biological matters for a future expansion into Bacta production.”

She slapped a large denomination credit chip down on the table again.

“Make it so then hunter. But be careful in the trails you walk lest your fur gets burned off in the blaze. Have him and him alone meet us here.”

  10. Black Sun Agent Cathryne Fegelein walked slowly through the musky bar, when her eyes caught her target, the black furred Chess, she grabbed a glass of blue milk from the bar and a heavy expensive whiskey for herself. The band played an obnoxious tune when she slid across the table from Chess, her Twi'lek teeth flashing sharpened points of silver.

"So Bounty Hunter, did you hunt go well?"

She fingered a high denomination credit chip under the table.

  11. Merit? He scratched his chin for a moment and took another long drink of his ale,

“Well he and his boss are wanted by the Black Sun for cutting into our profits in the toiletries business. Which believe it or not we are very profitable from, and we want him alive so we can join our companies together. Plus…”

He laughed softly as he looked towards the cathar woman drinking milk,

“We like to give easy and high priced contracts out to newer bounty hunters that fit our diversity standards. As we in the Black Sun would like to invest in you and your future endeavors.”

He slapped a large denomination credit chip of 10,000 credits worth onto the counter between them.

"There is the first part of the payment to get you going, if you aren't interested simply leave the chip here. If you are, well best of luck, the Black Sun supports its bounty hunters."

  12. The bright blond haired Agent Liam Corlai pushed his way through the throngs of human onlookers at the appearance of the mercenary and bounty hunter that the Black Sun had summoned. He adjusted his bright red collar and waved at the feline, showing his badge of the Black Sun sponsored Mercenary/Hunter league. He shoved a datacard into her paw as he walked her through the crowd of onlookers into the shade of the outdoor cantina and appetizer place Mujabee’s which had half off their appetizers at this hour. He ordered a very expensive top shelf whiskey and a side of nef sticks and informed Chess that he would be paying for the meal and whatever she would like to drink.

“As we eat, please feel free to tell me if you need any help in finding this bounty, this is the first of many that the black sun offers. Think of this one as a test. See how you do.”

    The card Contained:

    Name: Booster Rann
    Description: UNK
    Wanted: Alive
    Bounty: 200,000 Credits
    Return: Onderon

  13. A message from Black Sun Agent Anna Corun came into Jefsa's comm offering a contact on the world of Tattooine, if he was interested in furthering his business opportunities beyond simple powders and fragrances for the asses of the galaxy.

"You are invited to meet with the Black Sun in the Cantina on Tattooine. Send whoever you can, we are interested in expanding your opportunities."

  14. A job opportunity came screaming into Chess Ro's datapad like a divorced mother shrieking for child support from a rich if aloof father.

"Bounty Hunting Opportunities available courtesy of the Black Sun, if interested please report tot he Onderon system for assignment."

  15. A soft chime of an incoming message arrives for Ajani Lainthok, the name displayed was from Technician Nath Corun. When answered, the small holographic figure bowed deeply.

“Hello ma’am I see that you are looking for assistance in the technical department. I offer my services and the services of the Black Sun Organization to assist you should you require it if you sign a contract to work with us as a bounty hunter. We offer full retirement packages, ships for use or lease, ground support, 401ks, 403bs, and general terrorism coverage. Please respond if you are interested in this offer. Thank you,

    Nath Corun, BSA, Dubrillion."

The holographic display cut out and was replaced with a large insignia of the Black Sun.

  16. Gabby rolled over to her side and looked down at the strange new friend of hers. She cocked her head to the side, “Yesh I'm here, are we theres yet?” She had taken the opportunity to raid the food locker that was next to their berth. She was currently snacking on a large helping of Biserandi Pudding, which unknown to her contained at least 12 percent alcohol per volume. As this was a Black Sun shuttle, most of the foodstuffs were filled with inebriants or drugs. Luckily she had not tried the soda bread. But she happily scooped another bite of pudding into her mouth and reached down to ruffle the hair on Kar’s head like she used to with the family Nek. She swallowed and took another large bite.

The other passengers were mostly distracted by their other goings on, but she kept her attention split between Kar and the delicious food. She scooped him a bowl of it and placed it down in front of him, patting his head absentmindedly. She was almost done with half the 40oz tub. Delicious. And as a kid she didn’t have to worry about it going to her hips, like her mother always complained about.

The headlines screamed over the holonet of the brutal and unjustified attack on the peaceful and not-at-all-criminal Cloud City. Endless holoreels of the crying, sobbing, murdered, dead, headless, missing, penniless orphans of cloud city played at the conscience of the morally shattered Galactic Alliance. HolonetNews anchors bickered back and forth about the threat of the Imperial Remnant. Morning Jose, a coruscanti based holonews programme, devolved into a screaming match between the imperial and GA anchors that ended strangely in a makeout session. Some anchors chalked it up to a moral crisis in today's youth, but most blamed imperial supporters and called them xenophobes which would surely bring them over to the GA side. One or two anchors blamed Black Sun for provoking the attack with terrorist actions across that galaxy, but chastened the remnant in regards to the mass slaughter of civilians.

Overall it was a PR disaster for the Remnant.

    Just like the attack.

  18. ((Nothing personal meant by this, I really do have to move on. Learned my lesson last time. Three Day of the imperial forces and Beck))

In the skies above Bespin, the defeated Clout Lord hung suspended over the burning city of bespin. The thousands of tractor beams that normally controlled the inflow of gas and ships had caught the massive ship in their clutches, with most of the high level officers having jumped to the surface, the remaining staff quickly accepted the offers of surrender from the City defensive garrison, the 40 remaining crew were given quarter when the ship was brought slowly and gently onto a industrial landing bay. The ship would be repaired over the coming weeks. The crew were treated gently and were held for ransom, along with the 400 odd remaining troopers that were not special operation commandos. Though reprisals for lost family members and buildings stacked to the gills with children were relatively common, only a couple dozen stormtroopers were summarily executed by the mobs of wing guard and armed civilians. The rest were rounded up and placed in the central holding facility for processing and ransom.

The Imperial Commando Teams and their leader (Beck) did not take up the offer of surrender and fought a long and exhaustive battle that claimed the lives of several hundred Wing Guard before a mix of thermal detonators and pure man power brought them down. They never were able to breach the control generator, though they made a valiant attempt. An hour later, Cathryne, the provisional governor made an announcement of the Imperial Defeat, and dispatched a report to the Vigos about the expensive victory. It would take many millions of credits to repair the beautiful cityscape. Almost a quarter million civilians would be counted as casualties at the end of the day, their homes in lofty towers felled like trees by the imperial remnant. It was over, for now.

  19. The city in the clouds was always considered a hazardous place to live, originally a mining colony and eventually a tourist destination, the city itself was located in the sparse habitable zone of the Gas Giant. A slight variation of just a couple hundred meters could mean the death of a great many foreign visitors. As such, the 36,000 repulsorlift engines that kept the city afloat were not reliant on a single power source. They had their own reactors and generators. That would be suicide for ten million innocents if a single person hit a wrong switch or if the main reactor core needed maintenance. As such the repulsorlifts that kept the city afloat had multiple well tuned backup systems. Even though handheld grenade sized EMPs tossed outside of a complex hundreds of meters wide were hardly enough to knock down a reactor, if they did, the backup systems would come online and keep the city afloat without a drop in altitude. Backup systems would not wait for twenty seconds of freefall and kill an entire city. The agents kept in place though many of their weapon systems were knocked out by the handheld EMP blasts, they fought on. The Wing Guard assaulting Beck’s position continued to fire as did the couple hundred agents attacking the other imperial units. If somehow the city did come down, the Imperial stormtroopers would have to go down another couple hundred levels to attack the repulsorlift engines. Inside the reactor/administration facility, Cathryne and Elizabeth hunkered down with a dozen men and prepared for a final fight if they got through the many locked doors.

    <>

  20. As the battle raged all over cloud city, the battle in the main computer control room continued as well. With the imperials already cut off from all computer and wall port access, the bug continuing to put up a fight, the Black Sun officer Elizabeth Tarnassin, simply cut power to all levels the imperials were on. Drenching Beck and his men in darkness. Repulsorlift generators on those levels had backup power banks, and while it might put the facility at risk if somehow the Imperials below the surface broke out of their containment, for now they were safe. Elizabeth, made sure that firewalls were erected around the bug again to stop its growth. With no power, and a hundred layers of security, agents, duracrete, durasteel, and naturally built defenses that came with modern reactors. Elizabeth and Cathryne were not overly concerned as the imperial forces on the surface were mopped up. They had caused immeasurable damage to civilians on the surface. The Galaxy would know about it. Quarter was given to the Imperials who surrendered. With their corvette/air support taken out, they were heavily outgunned. Hopefully some would surrender.

Outside the main reactor/control/computer facility, the several hundred Black sun agents of the Wing Guard engaged Black Star unit. Some agents were fooled by tossed cylinders and dove for cover, but when they didn’t explode, they continued their attack on the imperial infiltration units. Rancor and Nexu squads were heavily engaged by the men guarding the single entrance to the reactor/control/computer complex. Black sun was on the defense, but they were heavily armed with 8 pre set up E-Web emplacements. Twenty black sunners died behind their barricades, but they were replaced.

Nervously, Cathryne watched her holodisplay with a growing sense of fear. With no power to the levels the imperial commander was on, she couldn’t watch the engagement through cameras. This made her nervous and anxious. She had no clue how the assault on the entrenched Imperial was going.

The Wing Guard began their assault against the main door of Becks hallway. Thermal Detonator breaching charges were prepared and the first assault squad took their position. A five count began and then the final push.

  21. Cities were dangerous places, now even the most pristine city in the clouds of Bespin was suffering the fate of many beautiful cities when touched by the black gloves of the Imperial Stormtrooper corps. Destruction. As buildings fell, the locations of the Stormtroopers were tracked by a mix of civilians, agents, and the ever present air cover. It was this air superiority that allowed the Black Sun to fiercely engage the imperials as they went from city block to city block. A joint group of 5000 heavily armed Wing Guard with air support began to engage the outnumbered imperial troops on the surface. With their corvette neutralized they would not stand much of a chance.

As the Rancor, Nexu, and Black Star teams began to make their moves, the control rooms in the command tower tracked them through the CCTV systems in cloud city. Or at least tried to as cameras were damaged or destroyed. A control officer named Elizabeth Tarnassin, A young human female from Bespin, watched Beck and his troops mow down a group of children through the holocomeras and brought her gloved hand to her mouth to muffle a cry of terror. She marked the threat a main priority and tracked them to the turbolift. Her screen flickered as she watched and she locked the turbolift down. Bulkhead doors out of the main passageways and the four stairwells shut and locked. The only way to get there would be through the stairways. She placed a call and provisional governor Cathryne dispatched a group of six hundred men from the Wing Guard through the four main stairways to converge on the lower level where Beck and his men were identified. They carried a mix of heavy and light weapons. There would be no escape for Beck, he would have to fight his way back out of the self made trap.

The remaining mobile 2000 men on the control level took cover and prepared for the Imperial Commando units. The Wing Guard of the 25th level was ready for action against the tracked Rancor, Nexu, and Black Star units. Several large units of several hundred were dispatched to find and destroy the imperial units while the rest bunkered down. In the command center alongside the provisional governor, Elizabeth began the process of counter hacking. With a few keystrokes, all consoles and wall access below the main control room were locked down and disabled. The bug was isolated and counter hacking began. If the Imperials wanted out of their trap, they would have to blast their way out.

Elsewhere three wing guard began to approach the building where Khargav talked to a young girl. Their intent was hostile. Working as a team they approached rapidly, their weapons set to kill and their black plastoid armour glistening against the distant bespin sky.

  22. Provisional Governor Cathryne Atali smiled grimly as she watched the live holo reports from cameras and her ground commanders. The Corvette, heavily damaged as it was continued to shoot not military structures but civilian buildings, all the while getting pounded to hell by the cannon fire of the heavy turbolasers. The first contact reports came back about Imperial jump troops and Cathryne knew that the invasion had truly begun. As the last ball cockpit was ripped apart by point defense towers, spilling its life into the void of atmosphere, the towers began to traverse and engage the jump troops. When they did land, the Imperials began in earnest to cause havoc. Estimated to be multiple hundreds of troops, Cathryne was non disturbed. She had almost ten thousand troops in just the wing guard itself. As the explosions resounded from the imperial ground troops she ordered the men at fixed E web positions to maintain their positions and dispatched 3,000 wing guards to defend the main entrances to the Command tower and generator/reactors. The five thousand she sent on a patrol to eliminate the imperial troops with cloud car cover. There would be no easy fight for the reactors. Hell she was right here alongside the main computer. The Imperial troops as soon as they entered buildings would be fought by the occupants of every room and hotel. A single tower would cost them dozens of men, and Cathryne knew they had few to spare. She had a population of five million card carrying black sunners, from the elderly grandmas and their five year old grandchildren. Still, holonews caught the first butchery caused by the imperials.

Three buildings went down over the next few minutes, but Cathryne knew that her men would be swiftly mopping up the remnants of the Remnant soon enough. The remaining two thousand Wing Guard went stationed themselves at the entrances to the lower levels. There would be no getting through. For now the main fight was in the city. Five hundred wing guard opened fire on a half a dozen stormtroopers foolishly attacking a building with missiles. It was pathetic, the governor thought.

The ornate single entrance to the Generators/Computer complex deep inside cloud city was covered by eight E-Web positions behind barricades, with a hundred wing guard behind cover, ready to fire at anything that got close enough from the tunnels. Two hundred wing guard stood ready to reinforce the main gate if it came under attack and two Seraph-class urban landspeeders sat in the open gateway with their heavy blaster cannons charged. Behind the main gate was the sprawling Reactor complex. Where the main central computer lay alongside the antimatter reactor. In the streets many levels above, the Black Sun began their heavy push towards identified imperial positions where the imperials would be no doubt bogged down. The loudspeakers of the Cloud City called out that Quarter would be given to those who surrendered, and that they would be treated fairly.

As the Imperial Corvette began its fast approach on the huge sprawling city the eleven operational turbolasers splattered it with fire. Even if its crew were suicidal enough to crash it into the city, it would cause very little damage. The heavy Tractor beams began to attempt to latch onto the the Imperial frigate, though a likely futile gesture, it was an attempt.

  23. Little did the Imperial self styled warlord above Cloud City know that to eradicate Black Sun from the planet, they would need to kill every single civilian to the last child. Provisional Governor Cathryne Atali believed this new Imperial Remnant to be at best incapable of such a heinous act. As such her, and nearly every person on the Cloud City prepared for an Imperial Invasion. As the TIE fighters went down for an assault on the city they would run straight into a well set up and coordinated mix of Point Defense Cannons and atmosphere capable well armed cloud cars. The Black Sun was well prepared for any strafing runs. As the TIE fighters began their strafing runs point defense cannons and cloud cars targeted and began to shoot at each one of them. Counting on the lack of maneuverability that a TIE had in thick atmosphere as well as complex targeting patterns and gunner experience.

As reports came flooding in about a possible cat like intruder, more and more men (and women) began to position themselves on the streets and rooftops of the city in an effort to kill him. All the while the turbolaser towers continued to fire away at the Imperial vessel. Causing a horrendous son to overcome the normally peaceful city.

  24. ((Thank you for the ruling, great posts guys!))

At the first long green bolt that stretched out towards the upper atmosphere that appeared out of the Northern Turbolaser tower, a place where children had long held birthday parties, the normal citizenry of Black Sun’s Cloud City knew that the place was under siege. Flashing lights went off all across the city and alerted all the inhabitants of the coming imperial invasion. A few of the several million inhabitants went to hide with their families, and all the others armed themselves in local militias that would easily repel any invaders like on any Military society world like mandalore. The ten thousand man Black Sun elite security wing ‘The Wing Guard’ in their black plastoid armour and heavy weaponry cleared the streets of screaming civilians and set up series of fallback points and security checks, erecting Ewebs, traps, and turrets on every corner. In the skies above the city, the Point defense cannons tracked everything in grids that moved in the skies, searching in vain for any non allied craft. The Wing Guard Cloud cars patrolled the skies under the point defense guns, their pilots scared and their gunners only slightly more so. If the Imperial Remnant wanted to rid themselves of Black Sun on Bespin, they would have to bring a hell of a lot more than one Corvette.

In the main Reactor, the provisional governor stood holding her Plex launcher and surrounded by guards watching anxiously as the turbolasers two dozen levels above still fired away at the Imperial Ship.

  25. As a single agent blasted through a faction's defenses like a hot knife through butter, the lack of communication from Imperial agents got the Cloud city’s defenders on edge. Cathryne Atali, sat in the central computer and generator room of the city alongside her bodyguards and waited for a response. Instead what she got was a report of attempted hostile takeover of turbolaser eleven. The bloody imperials were of course trying something fishy while they were flying a holding pattern. She cursed and screamed into the comm link, “Fire all!” This of course was all that the many jumpy gunners needed before lacing the air of Bespin with hundreds of blasts from Turbolasers and point defense cannons. One over eager point defense cannon commander managed to shoot down a civilian tug barge and left a dozen children without a father. But the rest were relatively on point. Eleven Turbolaser towers and two dozen point defense cannons churned away at the Clout Lord with reckless abandon for innocent life and the environment. They had one objective, to destroy the corvette and anything that came from it. The Wing Guard cloud cars setting up a defensive perimeter over the city, the laser canons on board the twin podded speeders charging up.

Cathryne Atali sat holding a Plex Missile launcher in the main generator/computer room alongside her heavily armed guard. If there was to be a fight, she had several options. And as technicians sat, quickly and efficiently transferring great gobs of cash from casino servers to the black sun main accounts, she readied her mind and soul for what was to come.
