An RSS Corvette Marauder exited hyperspace and entered Artus's atmosphere. Aboard this ship stood one of the last true Mandalorians, Canderous Bralor. Canderous landed his ship next to Delta's and disembarked his ship. Looking around at the base and the mines that stood before him, he questioned Delta. "So, this is it, huh?" Canderous looked on, figuring they could add on, but it might be best to destroy the current base and start from scratch. Though, Canderous also wondered if the empire would mind them destroying the base since it was on their planet. "It might be best just to add on", Canderous said to himself as he stood there. He awaited Delta's reply, and assessment of the base.

"Yes sir!", Canderous said as he left Mindan's office. He made his way to the Operatives hanger, sending a comm ahead to have his RSS Corvette Marauder ready for lift off. When he arrived, it was done just like he asked, and within moments' he lifted off and entered hyperspace headed for Artus. By the time he returned to Dubrillion, he would have the plans for the Krayiss II base just like he promised.

Canderous watched closely at the hologrid as Mindan showed him the planet. Thinking back on it, Canderous offered a few suggestions. "Well, sir, i would suggest the following. 1. The shipyard should be placed on the dead moon with a space station like enviroment. Our enemies wouldn't expect that. 2. Our main base of operations on the planet should be placed within one of the polar ice caps at the north axis of the planet. 3. And our research and development facilities should be placed near the sith library giving us access to it's knowledge. 4. And the low atmospheric moon, we could use for an ideal of mine. Given recent news of the Republic starting special ops squads, i feel we should start our own. We could call them "The Black Comets", and i also have an ideal for their armor. When i was on Necropolis way back in my younger days, the same place i aquired this cursed strength, i came across a fairly simple armor design which came in handy. It's equivolent to the mandalorian armor i now wear." Turning to Mindan, Canderous smiled. "But that is entirely up to you sir. While i am away helping Delta finish up on Artus, i will have a better construction plan to give you. Until then, please, think about the special ops squad, and when i return, you can give me an answer. Is there anything else you need of me sir?" Mandalore, although straight foreward about the ideal, meant no disrespect if any was taken. He stepped back, and awaited Mindan's reply. ((Sorry, i had 4 aliases to take care of, and by the time i got to this one, i was completely drained. I'll have better details when i return from Artus.))

((Sorry, Delta, i'm going to have to go with the chain of command IC for now. If i have to, i will assit you through comms or PMs until i can get to Artus.)) Just as they were about to leave, a comm came in from Mindan. Turning toward Delta, Canderous sighed. "I'll join up with you on Artus as soon as i can. Until then, feel free to comm me if you need anything". With that, Canderous turned and walked toward Mindan's office, while Delta jumped in his ship and hyperjumped to Artus. It was a bit of a ride back to the new base, and Canderous observed what he had designed. It was indeed a marvelous base, and well defended. Canderous felt the old leader, Piccolo, would indeed be proud of it. Shortly after, Canderous arrived at Mindan's office. Entering he removed his helmet letting the silver hair and his black lidless miraluka eyes show. He saluted Mindan, and spoke. "You wished to see me sir?"

While Delta landed in the operative's hanger, Canderous stood back, his hands behind his back in a soldier's stance, wondering what the man was wanting. When he jumped out, Canderous met him half way and shook his hand. "Hello Ner vod, I was wondering if you could join me with an inspection of the Artus base." Mandalore listen to the man speak, and knowing he didn't have too much to do until Mindan called for him, replied. "Yes, i can go with you to inspect the base. I really don't have much to do here until Mindan gets back anyways." Ready whenever Delta was, Canderous drew his hand toward the ARC as if saying "after you".

Awaking to the announcement of a comm, Canderous answer it and quickly replied. Comm to Delta ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is Canderous, i will be awaiting you at the Operative Hanger of the new base. See you there. -Canderous Out ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End Comm With that Canderous threw on his Mandalorian Armor, grabbed his helmet and made his way to the Operative's lift of the new base. When Canderous exited the Operative's Quarters, he was surprised to see most of Black Sun's forces already patroling and going about there work. It was as if the base had been open for a good while now. He headed toward the command building where the lift was located. When he arrived there, he got into the lift, hit the 2nd level button and went down into the Hanger's tunnel. There he placed on his helmet, jumped in the speeder and went toward the Operative's Hanger. Finally he arrived in the Operative's hanger, and pleased that his ship was already transported here, awaited Delta's arrival.

Recieving his leave from Mindan, Mandalore grabbed his gear from the ship and made his way to facilty's cafeteria. He fixed a quick plate to eat, and sat down to eat it. Shortly after, he had licked the plate clean, and proceeded toward the newly installed living quarters. When he arrived, he found the listing for his room, 7A. He entered the room, throwing his gear to the side, and started to remove his gear. It had been awhile since Canderous had removed his helmet, to be precice, it had been when he was placed in the brig. The cold breeze from within the room felt good on his face,his silver hair wet from sweat, and Canderous felt comfortable. Before he removed his armor, he made his way to the comm located within the room, and sent a comm to Kal, letting him know the new base was ready for all Black Sun members. After he sent the comm, Canderous removed his armor and placing it over by the helmet, laid down and the bed and drifted off into a dream state. If anyone needed Canderous, all they had to do was comm him.

With in a few hours, the planetary defense contruction crew had arrived and landed. Mandalore had over looked their plans, and gave them the run down of what he wanted installed throughout the base. Without a word, the crews went to work and Mandalore stepped back over looking the new base's final preperations. The out of no where, a droid appeared before him, and activated an holo of Kal. Hello Mandalore. I have been reading over your upgrades and general construction plans. I would like your report on your progess and what you have done in general. As well as what your future plans are for the upgrades? "Well, we're at 78% operational with only defenses left to install. I've installed a main base of operations, three training grounds, an operative hangar, a public hanger, an escape hanger for the CEO, tunnels, and shield barriers." said Canderous to Kal. "As for future upgrades, i can't really say until the current defenses are tested." Canderous stood there, hoping tha Kal was pleased with the report. While waiting on Kal's response, he went back to overlooking the project, but keeping a close eye and ear on Kal's holo awaiting an response. ********************** Meanwhile, the defense crews went to work on the Main Base of Operation's defenses. First to be installed was the bubble shield dish emitter that was placed atop the command building. To the north, three V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannons and two Hypervelocity Guns were installed. To the west, three more Hypervelocity Guns, a V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannon and a W-165 Turbolaser were installed. To the east, three more Hypervelocity Guns, a W-165 Turbrolaser, and a V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannon were intalled here., And finally to the south, two more Velocity Guns, three more W-165 Turbolasers, and two more V-150 Planet Defender Ion cannons were installed. ((Weapons Located here: 1. 10 Hypervelocity Guns 2. 5 W-165 Turbolasers 3. 7 V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannons Defenses here are: 1. Shield Barrier at every door 2. Twin Shield Barriers stack ontop of each other in the security elevator shaft 3. Bubble Shield around compound)) ************************* While the Main Base Of Operations were being built, the exterior defenses crew went to work. First to be installed here was the 360 degree turn radius turrets were placed every ten miles along the coastline. Fighter hangers containing 30 fighters a piece were also installed every 10 miles in between each installed defense turret. Constant ground patrols and three warships would patrol the grounds outside the main base of operations. Three Hypervelocity Guns were installed near the coastlines to the west, the southeast, and the north east, over looking the main base of operations. Two W-165 Turbolasers were installed to the northwest and southeast areas of the sloping plains just outside the main base of operations. Three V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannons were placed to the north, east, and west of the main base of operations on the sloping plains of the island. Seven Missile systems were also installed here, three to the center of the island, north, south, and west of the main base of operations, and four were near the coastline, southwest, southeast, North east, and North of the main base of operations. ((Weapons here are: 1. 360 degree turn radius turrets every 10 miles along the coast line; 10 turrets in between the coastline and Main base. 2. Fighter Hangers every 10 miles along the coastline containing 30 fighters each; 1 Main Base Hanger containing 50 fighters. 3. Constant ground patrols near the main base. 4. 3 warships constantly patrolling between the coastline and the main base. 5. 3 Hypervelocity Guns - each located near the coastline, with an open view of the main base. 6. 2 W-165 Turbolasers - located on the sloping plains near the main base. 7. 3 V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannons - Located near the base. 8. 7 Missle Systems - 3 located in the plains, 4 located near the coastline.)) ************************ While both the other buildings were being built, The Special Tatics Training Ground defense crew went to work. Two Hypervelocity Guns were placed east and west of the training ground. A W-165 Turbolaser was built to the south of the traing grounds. Two V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannons were placed southeast and southwest of the training grounds. And three missile systems were installed south, southeast, and southwest of the training grounds. ((Weapoins here are: 1. 2 Hypervelocity Guns 2.1 W-165 TurboLaser 3. 2 V-150 Planetary Defender Ion Cannons 4. 3 Missle Systems Defenses here are: 1. 1 Sheild Barrier at the entrance)) ***************************** The Ground Force Training Grounds were also being built. There were two sites for this crew, the wilderness which was located within the coastline to the south, and the urban site which was located east, just shy of the main base of operations on the sloping plains. The defenses were the same for each site, just mirroring each other. In the Urban Battle Grounds site, a W-165 Turbolaser was built to the south of the site. Two V-150 Planet Defender Ion cannons wer placed to the east and west of the site. Three Hypervelocity Guns were placed to the north, northwest, and northeast of the site. And five Missile systems were installed here as well. They were placed Northeast, Northwest, east, west, and southeast of the site. In the Wilderness Battle Grounds site, a W-165 Turbolaser was built the north of the site. Two V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannons were placed to the northeast and northwest of the site. Three Hypervelocity Guns were placed north and northeast of the site. And five Missile systems were also built Northeast, east, west, northwest, and south west of the site. ((Weapons for each site here are: 1. 3 Hypervelocity Guns 2.1 W-165 TurboLaser 3. 2 V-150 Planetary Defender Ion Cannons 4. 5 Missle Systems)) ************************ The Operative's Hanger defenses were also being built. At the top of the peak above the Operative's hanger, a Super Turret was built. Also a deflector shield was built to surround the hanger during an attack. To the north of the site, a W-165 Turbolaser, a V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannon, and a Hypervelocity Gun were installed. To the South of the site, a V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannon, a W-165 Turbolaser, a Hypervelocity Gun, and three Missile Systems wers installed. To the east of the Operative Hanger, three Hypervelocity Guns, and two Missile Systems were installed. ((Weapons here are: 1. 1 Super turret 2. 5 Hypervelocity Guns 3. 2 W-165 TurboLaser 4. 2 V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannons 5. 5 Missle Systems Defenses here are: 1. 2 Shield Barrier - 1 at Entrance; 1 at tunnel exit. 2. 1 Deflector Shield)) ******************** And Finally, the last crew had started on the Public Hanger. Two Super Turrets were installed to the north and south of the public hanger. Four Turrets were also being built, two the east, and two to the west of the site. Five Hypervelocity Guns were installed, two to the north & north east, two to the south and southeast. and one to the west of the site. Three W-165 Turbolasers were also installed to the northwest, west, and southwest of the site. Three V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannons were installed to the northeast, southeast, and southwest of the compound. Also, five Missile Systems were install here as well. They were located, three to the, northwest, west, and southwest of the site, and two to the south, and northeast. And finally, the Deflector shield was installed. ((Weapons here are: 1. 2 Super Turrets 2. 4 Turrets 3. 5 Hypervelocity Guns 4. 3 W-165 Turbolasers 5. 3 V-150 Planet Defender Ion Cannons 6. 5 Missle Systems Defenses here are: 1. 1 Shield Barrier at the entrance 2. 1 Deflector Shield)) ********************* Within a few hours, Kal hadn't replied, so Canderous looked over to check on the building process to discovered everything was finished. Canderous looked over toward the droid, looking at Kal's holo, and spoke. "Tell Mindan that the base is at 100% complete. It is ready for inspection." With that, Canderous paid the crews and sent them on there way. He then stepped back and awaited Kal reply. ((The before listed Shield Barriers were installed within my last post. Sorry if the posts makes no sense as i have a serious headache, but had promised to post the final installations.))

Canderous was overlooking some details when Mindan's comm came in. He handed one of the foremans of the contruction crew the list, and nodded his head as in "good" and quietly slipped away from civilian ears. He sent out a comm back to Mindan. Comm to Mindan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Great to see your back sir. We're almost at 45% completed, including three of the site's up and running. We should be at 100% completed within a few weeks, maybe sooner. - Mandalore Out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ End Comm With that mindan walked over to company's command station to finish overlooking the project. The base was coming together nicely, and this pleased Mandalore. ************** By the time Mandalore had recieved Mindan's comm, the three ground forces training grounds had been completed. The urban battle grounds, near the main base of operations, was of simple urban design. There was an entrance point, which was followed by twist and turns of street conrers and back alleys. Straight down the middle of the battle ground was a lone street headed straight for a command tower with a simulated turret atop it, and smaller compact simulation turrets throughout the entire grounds. These turrets could not be set above stun, and were for training only. The Wilderness Training Grounds were a bit different, located to the south within the mountainous coastline. Here was a natural maze of trails that all lead to a Command tower located within the sorrounding wilderness. All throughout the trails are bogs and quicksand traps, along with small compact defense turrets that can only be set to stun. Also here, atop the command tower, a turret can be found, that can only set to stun as well. Located to the north of the island,near the foothills of the mountainous coastline, but still located on the sloping plains, a Special Tatics Training Ground could be found. Here was two Starfighter/ boarding simulation starship looking computers. Both the ground forces, and space forces uses this training grounds. The boarding simulation part of the ship allows for low oxygen and normal boarding simulations. The starfighter simlation allows for normal starfighter and elite starfighter simulations. The building itself was just your basic hangar bays with a shield barrier that could be activated during an invasion. ************* Meanwhile, back at the company's command station, Mandalore was closely watching the construction of the rest of the base. The Main Base Of Operation's Foundations and second level completed, including the twin shield barriers stacked ontop of each other in the security life which could activated via the seond level's command post. It was time to start on the ground level of the base. The command building, located in the south of the main base of operations, would hold three office rooms, a Command room, a CEO office room, and a conferance room. All rooms connect to each other, and the conferance room, which hold the main door of the building. Also, here in the conferance room a new view globe would be installed, along with shield barriers put up at every door. Also here in the main base of operations, four other buildings would be built. A medical building holding standard medical equipment and droids, along with standard medical room accommodations as well. Also here would be an armory building houseing all portable Black Sun weapons. And a Communication building as well, holding your standard communcation equipment. All three of the buildings are to be built on the west end of the compound. To the east is the Operative's Living Quarters building, each living quarters having their own door, with a bed, a lamp post and lamp, a black sun rule book laying by the bed on the lamp post, and a small seperate room with a refresher in it. One room down at the end housed the small cafeteria. Over to the west end of the island, built inside one of the mountains on the mountainous coastline, a operative's hanger would be built. It would have the capacity to house fifteen warships. Also, the tunnel connecting the to the main base of operations would be finished, and would have three speeder, each holding six operatives. They would carry the operatives to the main base of operations lift at the end of the tunnel. Also installed here was a shield barrier at the hanger's entrance that could be activated during an attack Just South of the main base of operations, an underground escape hangar would be built, housing a TIE Avenger, that only the CEO can access during an invasion, so that he could escape if need be. Also here, two tunnels would be built, one leading to the CEO's office on the second level of the main base of operations, and one leading to the south end of the island. This is the escape tunnel in which allows the CEO to escape the planet in TIE avenger. And Finally, to the west a bit of the Main Base of Operations, on the sloping plains, a Public Hanger will be built. This hanger is open to all the public, and where new recruits land. People entering the atmosphere must stop and wait to be escorted into the base. Any violators will be shot down. The public base will be able to house 20 ships of any size at one time. Also here, a shield barrier would be built at the entrance of the hanger. All shield barriers were turned automated, and the activation mechanism installed in the command building in the main base of operations, with it's override system installed in the command room of the second level. ************** With in a few days, everything was almost finished, and Mandalore was very pleased with the progress. Now, all they had left to do was install the base's defenses. Mandalore paid the contruction crew just before they left, and arranged for a planetary weapon construction crew to come in their stead to install the ground defenses. They would arrive shortly.

When Canderous recieved his orders from Mindan, he went straight to the view glode and started searching for a new site for a new base. As he searched through the computer's archives, he found what appeared to be a good spot, for it was surrounded by water, with limited space, only big enough for the base, so no one could sneak up from the sides. And with enough weaponary could easy defend from the skies, so it seemed almsot perfect. Only one thing was left to do, and that was to inspect it himself. Canderous quickly searched the base, found a small ship, and started toward the island. When Canderous came across the island in the Dubrillion Ocean, he was amazed at it's beauty. The coastline was mountainous terrain, while toward the center of the island it turned to sloping plains. Getting on the comm, he got ahold of some construction crews and had them fly out to the site and begin it's construction. When he landed , touching down toward the center of the island just shy of where the main base of operations would be built, The Constuction company's crew entered Dubrillion atmosphere and proceeded to the site. Now the island itself ran three hundred miles north to south, and four hundred miles east to west. The coastline was about 50 miles thick all the way around, so they had plenty of room for the base. Canderous ordered to crew to start to the foundations and the went to work. The crew went to work on the Main Base of operations, first digging down three hundred feet for the second level, where they installed seven rooms. The three interrogation rooms, the power generator room, the CEO's Office room, the armory room, and the communication room. Also on the 2nd level they used the remaining room that connected the lift with the main level for a conferance room with a brand new view globe. Then they went to work setting up the self destruct mechanism, and after that, finished it up by installing the lift and filling in the soil. They then ordered six more crews from the company and started work on the main level's foundation. With in a few hours, the other crews had arrived and started on the other buildings foundations. One crew started on the Public Hanger's foundations to the north, while another started digging and setting up the CEO's hidden hanger to the south which connected to Main Base Of operation's second level. Another started on the Operative's hanger on the west coastwhich connected to the main base of operation's main level, while two other crews started the foundations of the urban battle traing grounds and the special tatics training grounds. The two remaining crews went to work on the tunnels connecting the operative's hanger and the CEO's hidden hanger to the main base of operations. "I've got a feeling this base will last awhile." said Canderous to himself as he overlooked the base's progression. He was pleased with the way things were going.

Mandalore stepped forward, bowing as he accepted his ranking, but spoke as well on some of the things mentioned. "The allignment with The Link would be a good ideal Sir. No matter the dark past, a bright future awaits. As for the previous comment about the back stabbing, i say let them try. If it's one thing i believe in the most, it is that two foes should always meet face to face on the battle field. If they attack from the back, you have my word that they would pay." Mandalore stepped back, calming himself at the thought of cowardness, and clearing his throat began to speak again. "Now as for the force users mentioned earlier, i, as a force user myself, wouldn't say an army, for it would attract the Jedi and Sith both quicker. Maybe a small force weilding squadron would work, special ops style. But as for anything more, it simply would attract unwanted attention at the moment." Mandalore stood there, feeling all eyes on him, but didn't slow down one bit on his speech as he stood there strong. "As for spreading out our army departments and bases, i feel it is a good ideal as well. If we were together, it would make us easier targets. The Jedi have been proof of this for years. Through the thinness in being together in one spot, they have evaded extermination many times. Only when you attacked, did they come together and showed their full force." Mandalore finished his small speech, bowed to Mindan again, and stepped back. He hoped he hadn't offend anyone with his outburst, but felt he should include his thoughts. He patiently awaited a reply to his thoughts.

Canderous awoke to the sounds of a comm stating his release, and his orders to head for the conferance room. He sat up, placed his helmet back on, and walked out the small cell when they unlocked it. He headed straight for the conferance room, only stopping to ask for directions from some soldiers on his way there. When he finally arrived at the conference room, he stepped in, stopping just a few feet from the door, removed his helmet and nodded toward Mindan, letting him know he had indeed arrived as ordered. Just as he nodded, Mindan let everyone know that the current leader of the Black Dawn had died, and the crusade against force users with him. This troubled Canderous a bit. Canderous thought to himself.... "Their crusade seems to be over, and that is a shame. But i have nothing to do, so i think i will stay on just a bit. Maybe they will continue to fight the Jedi and Sith, and our fight will remain the same." Canderous stood back, waiting for Mindan to finish his previous conversation with the Black Dawn operatives, watching, listening, learning.

"Your apology is accepted. However punishment is still required. Twenty-four hours in the brig and a badge of honour is sufficient." Mandalore bowed and headed toward the Brig. His punsihment was indeed sufficient, and Mandalore knew he had overreacted back there with the soldier. As Canderous reached the Brig, he was lost on the though of the past. He knew the venom that ran through his veins, the one that gives him the strength of a wookie, and enhances his speed, also often took control over him, making him blood thirsty. When he entered the cell, he took off his Mandalore helmet, and sat down on the bench, placing the helmet beside him. This was the first time in almost 7 years had he taken off the hemlet and revealed his face, other than to use the refresher. Little scars lined his face and neck, from previous battles he had been in, and there had been many. He sat back, letting the moon light hit his silver hair, and show the outline of his black lideless eyes. Shortly after the first hour had passed, Canderous laid down, rolled over on his back, laid down his weapons, and slipped off into the land of dreams. He thought to himself as he drifted off to sleep.... "I will always make up for my mistakes, and my biggest, happened on Necropolis."

((Sorry....I misread the post. )) Canderous stood there, looking at Mindan through the t- shaped viewplate, his featureless miraluka eyes stareing at the man's force outlined body as he spoke..... "You may be a Mandalorian and hold to their creed and beliefs and honour system. I can respect that. I cannot respect someone who kills needlessly. That is wasteful. I do not like waste. That is your only warning." Then as the man turned and walked off, Canderous though to himself.... "This man is right. I should not have killed the young soldier just to prove my killing capabilites. I should do something......" With that Canderous ran after Mindan and reached him just before he entered the conferance room. Speaking to Mindan, the Miraluka kindness shown through.... "I am sorry sir. I was just showing my worthiness. If you will, please send the man's family a badge of honor, and i will work off the debt for it." With that, Canderous darted back off toward the commander to recieve his orders.

"I will deal with you shortly. No man kills others under my command without reason and without my knowledge. We may take you still, but you wronged this man and me." Mandalore chuckled a bit, and went to do what he was told. But before he walked off, he bowed to Mindan and spoke.... "Such is the way of the Mandalorians. This man was no soldier, if i could kill him in just a few moments. As allies, i will do what i am told, but don't expect any remorse from me." With that, Mandalore walked over, threw the body over his shoulder, and walked off to set up a soldier's funeral. He burnt the body, and walked over to his ship, sent the 30,000 credits to the man's family, and started making his way to the bridge. Once there he let Mindan know he was there, and stepped back, waited to see what the man wanted with him.

"What have you to offer?" As Mandalore stood there, his skills were questioned, causing him to chuckle. With his right arm, he reached out quickly, gripping the young soldier that led him to Mindan's throat, and after extending him as high as he could, squeezed until the soldier's until his throat collapsed. He then dropped the lifeless body and spoke..... "I am a sufficent killer." "What can you give as proof of Loyalty?" Mandalore checkled again, shaking his head this time, and spoke again.... "I can give nothing, but only because i can not make the promise to be loyal to the Black Dawn forever. But i can promise to remain loyal for a time, as well as a promise to not leave under betrayel. My life and my alliegiance are mine, and my alone, and my allies for a time. But in time i will move on, and thus beginning anew. The only promise of loyalty i can give is this: As long as our fight is the same fight, my alliance with you will continue." With that, Mandalore stepped back, and awaited the Commander's(Black Sun Armada) reply.

Canderous recieved a comm telling him where to land. He followed some air defenders into the landing platform, where he disembarked his ship. Canderous stood at the bottem of his onramp, his feet touching the soil ever so lightly. As he walked toward the compound, each step was light, barely making a noice. He walked up to a guard, stationed by the landing platform, and spoke..... "Take me to the man in charge." The soldier spoke in a fearful voice, and replied....... "Yes Sir." The man turned around and headed to the command center, where he approached a man(Mindan). The soldier then spoke to him..... "Sir, this is....uh sorry, what's your name Sir? "Canderous Bralor, but i'm also known as Mandalore the Wise." "Yes, this is Canderous Bralor sir. He's a new recruit." Canderous then spoke up for himself........... "As you know, i am Canderous Bralor, also known by Mandalore the Wise. I have recently heard of the Black Sun's crusade against force users.
