  1. The Exorcist stepped out into the humid, rank Falleen air, she could smell it all, and hear its echoes in the Force. There was corruption here, beyond the rot of foliage and the chittering of insects. A deeper reverberation, a seeping wound, infected and gangrenous that wept into the Force with a song of sadness. The Dark Side had latched hold of this planet like a parasite to suck it dry. She shook her head, the mess of braids falling about her slender shoulders. Just like your sister… She motioned for her apprentice to follow, remembering his training on their path here. He had passed a number of blade trials, but seemed to lack the natural flow of the Force, relying on Pride and instinct instead of more subtle beats of the song. He would hold his own against a few mangey cultists. The one you failed... Kyrie’s silent step quickened to match the Edsbryder Princeling’s pace. She had relatively little care for the conquests of noble houses, for Constipex or others, but she was more than eager to rid the world of its corruption. Her probiscis matched the pace of her song, flicking and tasting the air, leaving small white sparks in their trail.

  2. Tygo disembarked the landing craft with the troops, having left his X-wing in the hangar. It was a lot of things, but easy to disembark for an assault was not one of them. Haulanz of House Constipex flowed out of the craft alongside him, along with the grim masked Bekenden of his homeworld and a handful of Kraaienbladen. Constipex's soldiers were a disciplined and professional sort, conventional fighters trained to fight in grand armies, but his people were urban combat specialists, hardened killers who would find lofty perches and dismantle choke points from on high. Falleen would be liberated soon enough. Intel for the op suggested some sort of berserker pirate cult, an odd choice for the notably stoic and emotionless cold blooded Falleen. It was unlikely that there were many true believers here, the Sith's presence had been brief, too brief to raise children in indoctrinating cults, or for people to forget their old traditions and ways. It was peculiar that the cult hadn't fled to more remote regions to subsist on piracy now that the Sith had largely fled the galactic stage, now they were exposed and largely unsupported, easy prey for the triumphant rebellion. It was unusual for Tygo to be going into an operation with anything more than a squad, but he enjoyed the feeling of a larger force by his side. His work was often distasteful, even if it was necessary and for the good of all, so to be included in a nobler endeavor filled his heart with joy. Though the lion's share of the glory would go to Contispex today, Edsbryder would conduct itself with valor and determination.

  3. The craft hit the ground, and immediately Kadi could tell something was off. A dark miasma coated the spaceport, trying to envelope the Jedi that she could sense. She glanced at Kerriwar before speaking. "Something's wrong out there. I can feel it. Close your eyes- The Dark Side is like a disease, rooted deep in this world, and this spaceport is an infected wound. Whatever is happening here will only make the situation worse. Stay here if you'd like, I need to go see what's happening." The shuttle door hissed open, and she stepped out, her lightspear hanging loosely off of her back. She looked around, spotting a familiar Mon Cal healer and an unknown Twi'lek. She smiled for a moment at the sight of her friend before looking on. No physical weapons were drawn, but their wills fought in to Force in a conflict clear to see by anyone trained to sense such things. Was their cover blown? Were these people cultists of the Dark Side, looking to kill whoever it was Leena and her allies were protecting? She didn't know, but she wasn't about to stand by helplessly. She moved closer, careful not to reveal her location to the group, before adding her strength to the Jedi master's. She could only hope Leena would recognize her presence.
