The Hapes Cluster

Raven lent a hesitant hand on Kirlocca’s back as he pulled himself to a sitting position. It was good to have that presence back in her head. She was glad for it and she nodded, her face breaking out into a grin that pulled the corners of her lips up and crinkling the edges of her eyes.

“I am glad my friend. Though the order is in much need of your assistance. But take you time in that.”

How many had they just lost at Corellia? How many Jedi at Serrenno? She had heard that Adenna had fallen there, and the thought of it made her shudder.

“Are you well enough to travel? My compatriots…” She gestured to the two stoic faced imperial knights. “Were in the process of setting up a base here in the Mists. If you needed a place to rest.”

Otherwise it was about time to return to Nar Shaddaa.

Kirlocca looked at her and then towards the Imperial Knights and then back at her again. He had forgotten that Kyrie had left the Order to setup a more devoted group of followers to Raven and her vision. He was suddenly very concerned that something may have happened to her that she was not present with them at the moment, but he didn't let the idea fill his mind too much. Instead, he shook his head and swung his body to sit on the edge of the table/bed he was upon.

<< If you have a need to travel, I will travel with you. >>

The Wookiee stood up now, taking a slow moment to make sure his footing was secure and then took a look around.

<< We may wish to gather some clothes and supplies for myself before we head out though... >>

There was of course, truth in Kirlocca’s suspicions. The hardness around her eyes even when filled with tears, spoke to the last two years of conflict. The torture at Dark Sun, the death of dozens of friends, and the loss of not only power but an entire way of life. The Imperial Remnant had died the whimpering death of compromise. The Moff Council had been traded for a group of failed senators from the Galactic Alliance. And though the Moffs still maintained their power on Nar Shaddaa, and the addition of the Galactic Alliance fleet had bolstered the military, had the addition of those failures to the command of the Rebel Alliance helped at all? Now Imperial citizens were dying over Corellia, a planet whose senators had railed for years in the senate against the Imperial war against the Sith.

A hundred ignored petitions. And now trillions were dead and the heart of the galaxy had been seized by the Dark Lords of the Sith. And what was there to do? They had fought the Sith to a standstill over the Corellian homeworlds, but for what? They would next strike into the heart of the old Remnant and in all likelihood destroy what little remained.

“Gather your strength Kirlocca, we have a long journey to Nar Shaddaa.”

She looked up to the Hapans who bowed graciously and left the room. She extended a black gloved hand.

“Then let us depart.”

And her soft smile returned, but her eyes did not change.

Kirlocca could read Raven, almost as if no time had passed between them and they were as connected as that faithful trip to Carida. She had been worn and hardened during his time with the Force. Because of that, he knew she didn't need to be pressed, so he moved to gather some clothing that was available to him within the room, but quickly decided that he didn't need much. He grabbed a few things, but quickly made it known to Raven that he was ready for her and that they could travel now.

Raven nodded to the Hapan Commander who bowed low before turning and waving off her attendants. The sign was clear. A deal had been struck with the Hapans, or at least a faction within their esteemed empire, and now the Rebels would leave taking with them a remnant of warlike Hapes.

And so the Rebel Alliance left the Mists and made for Nar Shaddaa
