Deep in the system of Correllia, lies the future of the system. Due to technological advancements in the construction arena, a new dawn of orbital space stations has been created. This is the Gateway station, or more commonly knows as The Gateway. A massive structure, the Gateway promises to be the next jem of Correllia and Concord Enterprises.

Built by Drake Vortex, the CEO and Founder of Concord Enterprises, the station is now ready for business. Among other things, this grand station includes:

Name: Gateway Station (The Gateway)

Description: A large grey circular space station. The hull gleams from it being new and the constant attention the crew gives it.

Defenses: Shields

900 Phlax Turrets

Facilities:

Crew Quarters

Guest Quarters - Typically Large

Various Malls, shops, ect.

Ship Facilities:

Large repair dock

Smaller Ship Docks

Special Facilities:

The Well - A deep structure running almost a kilometer down the core of the station. This structure is simply a large circular open pit with a number of casinos, hotels, malls, shops, and the likes surrounding it on each level.

Biodomes - Surrounding the main core of the station, these domes are located in several clusters, each one housing a different setting. Whether the terrian be forest, desert, mountain, beach, ect, these domes are uses as a large tourist attraction. As well, some domes are also used for growing plants and livestock for the station itself.

Pacalis and Calesco - Once located upon Munto Codru, the cities now have been taken away. Made possible by the latest in structural engineering, the two cities have now been taken into orbit. Made worthy for space flight, from Codru they were taken to the construction area of Gateway Station. From here, Pacalis City was attached to the very top of the station, while Calesco was placed at the bottom.

Pacalis City:

The city is shelled in by a massive glass dome. With 8 pylons outlining its shape between the glasses, the dome itself serves many purposes. One is the basic physical protection. Also however, a system of flare launchers is built into the pylons. Under the dome is the main city itself. 24 kilometers in diameter, the city has many high rises spanning a few kilometers into the air. The tallest of these skyscrapers is the Central Plaza.

Under the dome is the main city itself. 24 kilometers in diameter, the city has many high rises spanning a few kilometers into the air. The tallest of these skyscrapers is the Central Plaza.

Its tip almost touched the dome itself, while being positioned directly in the center of the city, the tower rises 5.5 kilometers into the air. In it, the ruling government works. At the base of the massive tower are tunnel connections to the Concourse.

The city is divided into several districts, in each one is a respective theme. The districts are as follows:

Business District: Shops, malls, and stores of all sizes are placed here. People come here to shop and work.

Medical District: An entire district incorporating advanced medical technologies. The district itself has many buildings, giving it the capabilities to handle everyday emergences, or mass emergences as well.

Entertainment District: The nightlife in Pacalis can often be compared to the nightlife of Coruscant itself. Bright lights, signs, and sounds give the district its differences from the rest.

Government District: A place where the government works.

Academy District: Spanning the outer ring of the city, facilities are located here that encourage a variety of training including force arts.

Living District: Homes, apartments, parts, ect are located in this area.

Underneath the city are the factory levels, and the concourse.

The code of the Gateway is simple:

The station itself recongizes the ruling government's authority, however promises to remain out of any galatic conflicts.

All are welcome.

The guard looked at the smuggler, trying to decide if she was joking or not on the harassment part. Before he could respond, the voice of a dear friend came out from behind him.

"Reagan! You survived!"

Running out, the brother of a jedi brought her into a large hug, "Bless the force, when I heard you had one of the largest bounties on your head in the galaxy, I thought the worst...."

The Fire's Passion docks with the station, and Induran steps out. She heads towards Pacalis City. Upon arriving, she stats to shop, picking up a few things here and there. Strange, she mused. I always wanted to come to this city while it was still on Munto Codru. I didn't expect to ever get there, but now with modern technology, I made it to the city if not the planet.

As she browsed through the stores, she laughed at the situation. You're shopping like some ultra-snobby rich person. Oh, well, at least they have stores here for Codru-Ji.

Drake sighed at the mention of Tares, "If he still is alive that is."

Monitoring public Imperial Channels, he had heard reports of a possible attack on the Jedi Temple. As far as he knew, his brother was there. He knew Tares could fend for himself, but that still made him worry.

Placing his fear on the sidelines for a few moments, Drake once again smiled and looked to Reagan, "What proposal might you have my dear?"

((OOC: I hope I'm posting this correctly...this time))

((IC)):

El-Matador stepped from the transport ship, into the hangar, along with dozens of other migrants and travelers from the parts of many star systems. Carrying all his galactic possessions, El slung his duffle bag over his shoulder, checked that his blaster was still on his hip, and took a long look around. He had some credits to get him by, but just a few.

He was told that he could join the Rebellion against the Empire here. His abilities and skills would be put to use for a good cause here. He was trained by the Empire. He was effective for them, but no longer believed. What would his family and old friends think of him, betraying the mighty Empire that made them all so prosperous?

El headed through the hanger area looking for signs of rebels that he might link up with.

To his surprise, the area appeared largely depleted of military personal and equipment.

He though to himself ”œHave I made a mistake coming here?”

"Well, you were always the one that was straight laced. And my ship would be perfect for protection for your little gateway here. Not to mention that I have the smuggler's small fleet. And quite a bit of backing from some other sources."

She smiled at Drake and waited a moment. "Well, you in or out?"

Kaleb sat in his office watching through a security monitor as the big man strolled from his ship with a duffle bag slung over his shoulder. He pressed a button on his desk. Immediately a female voice answered.

Yes Admiral?

Kaleb smiled at his secretary's efficiency.

Send the man that just arrived in Docking Bay Four into my office. Make sure he knows he is not being arrested.

At once Admiral.

He leaned back and reviewed flight records while waiting for the man to be brought in.

A screen on the dear admiral's monitor came online with the message, Rent not paid, evacuate now.

With the message flashing, the doors of the office shut closed, creating an air tight seal. From there, a large scraping noise could be heard as the entire office was ejected out into space. Luckily for the rebels, the air tight box they now lived in had a few days rations and air.

Looking to Reagan, Drake smiled, "Where do we begin?"

El looked around the docking bay for a few minutes. After half an hour, he observed out of the corner of his eye a slender young functionary coming his way.

As she approached he turned to her direction.

”œSir, I believe that my boss has business with you. He would like to meet with you if you would just follow me.”

(OOC: Tarrian: I know that I said I wasn't going to RP...BUT I JUST CAN'T RESIST!)

Sitting in the far edge of a Cantina, a green Twi'lek enjoyed his solitude. As he sipped his alcoholic beverage, he thought about his life...the past, the present, and the future...

Kamino wasn't exactually sure how he ended up here, but whatever the case, he knew it had been a long journey. So long....he couldn't even remember. The last memory that he could recall was standing in the Black Sun office of the great Piccolo. But that was so long ago?

There was no time to dwell on the past. Kamino knew he had to reform his life, and that is why he came here...wherever "here" was. The Gateway was huge, and Kamino had given up trying to find his way around a long time ago. All that the Twi'lek focused on now, was where he shall go to next.

Yes, that is what he pondered...where will my life lead me from here?. He realized he could always go back to the Citadel, but somehow, that didn't seem like a good option. Kamino loved the Black Sun, but office duty called more of his attention than he could give. In some wierd way, Kamino knew that he wasn't going to be able to make up his mind...that is why he had contacted Piccolo and told him that if the Black Sun needed him, he would be ready to serve. Until that time came, Kamino would journey the Galaxy, searching for the true meaning of life.

Presently, that journey had brought him here...a rather impressive Cantina in an equally impressive space station.

Taking an evening stroll across the station, Drake ended up in his favorite cantina. As he entered, the crowd of locals and spacers alike mixed together socially. He smiled at the thought of his creation.

Noticing a fellow on the far edge of the cantina, Drake decided to be alittle social himself. After a short trip to the bar for a couple drinks, he made his way over to Kamino, "Mind if I join you?"

The X-wing fighter piloted by Ben'a winks into existance in the Corellian system in close proximity to The Gateway, the new and massive, orbital city and center for intersteller commerce. Guiding the ship into a series of docking platforms, Ben'a sends a hail to the securtiy controllers.

"This is Ben'a Solo, Tares Vortex sends his compliments to his brother, Drake..."

Recieving clearence to land, Ben'a docked the ship and waited for his comm to be answered before proceeding.

The Twi'lek smiled at the newcomer...He seemed framiliar, but Kamino wasn't sure if he knew him or not.

"Not at all! Please take a seat."

One of Kamino's green hands gestured, implying that his guest should site opposite of hem at the booth. Kamino waited for the man to sit down, and then took a sip of his drink.

"Sir, perhaps you would like to re-acquaint yourself with me...I'm afraid I have an aweful bad memory."

The green Twi'lek's statement did hold some truth: He wasn't sure if he had previously been involved with this man or not.

However, it mattered little to Kamino. He could care less who the guest was...all that he was concerned about was what his agenda was...

Never the less, Kamino kept smiling and did his best to seem socialable.

He was -to say the least- a diplomat through and through. However conceided that statement might be, it was true.

_____________________________________________________________

Even as the newcomer approached, security alarms went of inside the Twi'lek's head. As one of Kamino's hands gestured for the man to sit, the other moved delicately, secretly, and discreatly into the inner mesh of his robe's thick sleeves. By the time that the newcomer had taken the first sip of his drink, Kamino had his hand on the butt of the blaster. The second drink? Well by then, the blaster was in the green Twi'lek's grasp, pointing at the unknowing guest.

Kamino neither liked or disliked the man. Wether he would become a friend or ally was still to be seen...but for now, Kamino would keep his wits about him -ever defensive and always vigilant!-

As Ben'a waited for a response to his message, he tuned into the Holonet, to get a brush-up on current events. An organization styling themselves the "Viet-Ewok" was planning a takeover of the galaxy...that might bear investigation at some point. The Rebel Alliance was announcing their comeback, which was predictably followed by the Imperial "security is better then liberty" response.

This made Ben'a think once again about his mission. Certainly, the Rebels would be trying to contact the Jedi as well, and probably by better means then having him sitting here, waiting to talk to one who had, in esence, left to pursue his own business; as if he desired money more then freedom. But even as he had made that judgement, he swept it away. He didn't know Drake Vortex, and it was unfair to assume this about him. It briefly occured to Ben'a that he should leave and go back to Manaan, trusting that Keiran would manage to complete the mission of contacting the Rebellion. He had the repulsorlifts halfway through the activation sequence before an odd feeling came over him that made him stop mid-step.

It was a feeling unlike any he had felt before, it was like a conflict between light and shadow, all bottled up in one being -- and the light was winning. Recognizing that this could only be a feeling sent to him through the Force, Ben'a powered down his snubfighter, and waited for the object of this sensation to come, if it would...

"Gateway, this is Nahstaa, requesting docking permission."

"Nahstaa, you have permission to land in docking bay 8."

Slowly nahstaa's "borrowed" vessel moved into bay 8, and he set it down gently... Leaving the whole thing open, he walked slowly out into the main

bio dome, and looked around, not knowing where to go...

That feeling that Ben'a had felt earlier -- that feeling of a being emerging from the darkness -- grabbed once again at the Knight as he lingured about his starfighter. At once, Ben'a knew what it was, and was grateful for the strength of the presence. It was nearby.

"So he came," he whispered to himself as he activated the lift that would extract Ayevit from the X-wing's socket.

Making his way as fast as he dared to prevent drawing attention to himself, Ben'a, with Ayevit in tow, headed off to where he sensed the Force-connection of the being in question. He still didn't know for whom exactly it was that he was looking for, but as a Jedi, he had sworn to always do what he could for anyone in need. And this person, whomever he or she was, definately needed it.

About half an hour later, after winding through several cantinas and public markets, Ben'a had found him -- it was definately a man -- and followed him, unnoticed, until the man had made his way to a semi-secluded area. With a gentle tap on the shoulder, the Jedi drew the man's attention, looking him over with a compassionate eye.

"You look like you need some guidence, young one..." he said gently.

Feeling lost and confused, and still very afraid of the sith that had to be following, his first reaction was to draw back, but after a moment, he could feel the warmth he had felt earlier radiating from this man, pushing away the cold...

"Who... Who are you?" That was not what Nahstaa had intended to say, but he seemed to have very little control over his body at the moment...

Now that he was in close proximity, Ben'a could clearly see the tumalt of thoughts and feelings that flowed through the man before him. He did his best to let the Force flow through him and into the stranger, allowing him to calm himself.

"I feel it is you, young man, who needs to answer that question," Ben'a said soothingly. "You come here, and you don't quite know why. But I do...I feel the conflict within you."

With a calm hand around his shoulder, Ben'a guided the man to a bench and sat him down. At Ben'a's command, Ayevit went off to fetch a pair of warm, nurishing drinks for them.

"I am Ben'a Solo, a Jedi. Who, may I ask, are you?"

Nahstaa stared at Ben'a in amasement...

"A... a jedi..." Slowly, nahstaa calmed down, and decided that if he wanted a chance, he needed the help of this jedi...

"I am Nahstaa" he said, strength returning to his voice as he found direction... "I... I was being trained as... sith..." The last word, he spat out, with disgust... "Please help me..."

The last word out of Nahstaa's mouth -- which was litterally spat onto the floor -- told Ben'a all he needed to know. The reason this man was so emotionally traumatized was simple; he had thought the darkness was his lot, but he chose to rise out of it and make his way here. Ben'a looked Nahstaa up and down, peering into his mind with the Force. He spoke the truth...

"You have accomplished much by simply being here, Nahstaa. And I will do whatever it takes to help you."

Just then, Ayevit arrives, carrying the drinks in two clawed appendages. Ben'a takes the cups, offering one to Nahstaa, and they both take deep draughts of what turned out to be warm nerf milk. With a chuckle, Ben'a noted that Ayevit always seemed to know what to get...

"Do you have a ship?" Ben'a asked quickly. Nahstaa nodded. "We'll have to have Ayevit scan it for homing beacons...then we can leave here. I know a place you might be safer, while we sort things out."[/i]

"Thankyou..." as he said this, he filled with warmth... Any one of the sith would have laughed, but ben'a was like his father... kind and caring... Nahstaa had definately made the right choice

"I do not intend to ever use that ship... It was a slave ship, that brought many slaves to their deaths... i dont care if you get it compacted, or donate it, i just dont want to go anywhere near it..."
