The Noghri workers finished their habitat in very short time while Jareth worked on his control module. The devices were configured to allow Jareth maximum control of the beasts, and force them to preform several tasks.

All that was left now was for Salus to return with the specimens.

Looking at the time, Jareth let the darkside energy which was abundant here flow into his conciousness. His apprentice was still alive, and that was good. Jareth had high hopes for this one.

Jareth and his apprentice are the only Sith that should be here, Searcy, you and your apprentice need to edit your posts and find somewhere else to train. The next person to come uninvited will not get a warning.))

With a snap and a hiss, Salus Monn's lightsaber springs to life. As the male Rancor lets out a deafening roar and advances, the Sith apprentice reaches out with the Force and grabs a boulder. Eyes almost closed, Monn uses the Force to hurl the boulder at the Rancor - the boulder hit's the Rancor in the upper chest, knocking the huge beast back. The Rancor yelps in pain, and Monn leaps forward, lightsaber blazing. The Rancor swipes a clawed hand at Monn, so the Sith apprentice crouches low and slashes forward. - the lightsaber cuts through the Rancor's clawed hand, sending two huge fingers falling to the ground. The Rancor once again yelps, sending a few winged creatures flying from the trees behind the Sith apprentice and Rancor. With that, Monn leaps into the air and lands on top of the Rancor. With his own clawed feet digging into the Rancor's flesh, Monn buries his lightsaber in the Rancor's head.

A few moments later, Salus Monn makes his way toward the two female Rancors, and the group of hatchlings. The hatchlings appeared to be no bigger than a standard sized man, the female were not as big as the male Rancor Monn had killed, but would no doubt be a problem. As the Rancors pick up the Sith apprentice's scent, Monn barks. The two female Rancors roar angrily, and advance, putting themselves between Monn and the hatchlings. Sticking his right hand forward, Monn reaches out with the Force and attempts to connect his being with the minds of all the Rancors. The two female Rancors slow, and eventually come to a full stop, right in front of the Sith apprentice. Eyes locked with the eyes of the two female Rancors, Monn uses the Force to send soothing and calming thoughts to the creatures. Times passes, a lot of time passes. After a few long hours, the two female Rancors, and the hatchlings behind them, fall asleep. Moving quietly, Monn moves past the two female Rancors, and moves to the two closest hatchlings - a male and a female as it happened.

Now for the difficult part.

Eyes closed, Monn reaches out with the Force and attempts to lift the two hatchlings up into the air. Beads of sweat run down the Sith Apprentice's back, making his fur damp. Arms quivering and teeth clenched, Monn succeeds in raising the two hatchling a short distance off the ground - the two hatchlings remain asleep. One step at a time, Monn makes his way back to the camp.

As Jareth worked, he formed a force connection with the ecosystem of the planet. All living things could be felt deep inside the Sith lord, and he allowed himself to witness the goings on of the planet as a whole.

He was shocked to see his apprentice slaughtering a bull rancor, exactly as Jareth had instructed him not to. However, it was a minor detail in the greater plan, and Jareth did not expect Monn to complete the task without some improvisation. Adaptation was often a sith's greatest asset, and Jareth was not angry.

Slowly, Monn returned across the plain toward the lab. Once he was in sight, Jareth ordered a force of several dozen Noghri to go retrieve the rancor and take them to the holding facility which they had erected.

Once Jareth oversaw the securing of the beasts, he made his way back toward his apprentice.

"Kneel before me my young apprentice."

Monn obeyed, and Jareth placed a gloved hand on the back of his lowered head. Jareth then pulled his saber from his belt, and etched a small mark on the back of the wolfman's neck. The fur at the small mark singed, and the skin slightly blackened.

"Rise now, my brother and fellow lord of the Sith."

It was a proud day for Jareth. He had molded a fine warrior out of the once vicious and untamed beast which Salus formerly was.

"A new chapter of my life is about to begin, I feel - the chapter of Darth Havoc."

Monn had spent a few short hours rummaging through the archives at the old training facility on Byss - the Shistavanen Wolfman had come across a great deal of information that was of interest to him, such as information on the Sith Lords of old, including Darth Bane, Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, Darth Tyranus, and Darth Vader. Monn has also come across information on a powerful Sith Lord called Darth Heretic. After leaving Byss, Monn had thought about the Sith Lords of old, and what they had brought to the table. After killing several individuals at a club on Coruscant, Monn had chosen the name he would carry once his training had been completed...

"And so you shall be called." Jareth spoke, and his word was law.

The sith gave instructions for the care of the infant rancor to the chief Noghri, and then turned back to speak with Salus once more.

"It appears we have been summoned to Kakuto's side. He has requested all sith meet himon Selonia. I suggest we depart soon, as we are already most likely late. He is aware of the reason for our tardiness....It is rather hard to hide anything from the Dark Lord."

"Then I suppose it is only fitting that we take mine....that or we could walk?" Jareth ended with a rhetorical and sarcastic inquiry.

"Lets go." He suggested rather than ordered, as he boarded the TS2 and prepped it for take-off. Once everything was in order, the two sith lords blasted into the atmosphere and then vanished into hyperspace.

After a few minutes, Kat slid down to the small service hatch, that led into the ship. He had finished up outside, and was ready to get out of this hole.

((Just for you chad ))

"Zara, are you almost done, im going to go prep the ship for take off." Without waiting for a reply, kat strode into the cockpit, and started warming up the engines, getting all of the systems running.

"Well, i can drag you out of one if ya want sis..."

With that, he punched the chemical thrusters, and the ship took off, sliding through the atmosphere. Once they were clear, he typed in the co-ordinates for coruscant, and they jumped into hyperspace...

A spherical probe droid, measuring at about a foot in diameter, and bearing the symbol of the Elite Mercenary Unit, appears. As the droid's turbo-boosters die down, three small openings appear on the droid's top, and a couple of antennas and a wide-range scanner pop out. The droid then heads down to the surface of the planet.

  • 1 month later...

Jareth decided on a plan, and a location of attack while in hyperspace. He would need to prepare troops, and wanted to check the progress of his Rancor. If the Noghri had done as commanded, his 2 specimens should be fully grown and trained by now.

The TS2 landed gently in Jareth's private hangar within the underground lab, and he exited. He was met by his Chief assistant who informed him that everything was proceeding well.

Within minutes, the sith was lead to a much larger holding facility. He stood atop a large round pit and looked down on is two Rancor. They were fully grown and vicious as ever. At his entrance, however, they calmed and looked up to him as if seeing God.

"Very good work," He commented to his assistant. "Tell me, are they fully obedient?"

"They will serve only you my lord. We have also implanted the machinery you requested to make them resistant to mental manipulation through the force. They have been conditionally trained to serve only you. I can assure you that they will be most effective and loyal, they would gladly throw themselves off a cliff if you asked."

"Very well, leave us." Jareth said as he swept a hand to dismiss the Noghri chief.

Jareth then spent the next several hours training and drilling his new weapons, molding them into the battle machines that he wanted them to be.

Once he was pleased with their progress, and his own as they fought saber to claw, he went to rest.

-Jareth then sent several Comm's over a highly encrypted channel.-

The Appetite for Destruction emerges out of hyperspace. As the heavily modified Corellian corvette, the Sith Lord known as Darth Havoc closes his eyes and reaches out with the Force ”“ for the briefest of moments, Havoc allows the suppressed psyche of Salus Monn surface; it was all Havoc had to do to learn the location of the underground lab. Havoc opens his eyes, sends a message to the pilot of the Appetite for Destruction, and then attaches his lightsaber to his belt. Moments later, the Appetite for Destruction touches down, and Havoc departs...

A comm came into Jareth from a Noghri petty officer.

-Master, a ship just touched down on our surface, we have our defenses locked onto the passenger that exited it. Advise if you would like him eliminated.-

Jareth let his force conciousness seep through the lab to the man in question. Once he realized who it was he sent return comm.

-You would be wise to stand down officer. Let him in, and escort him to me.-

Jareth knew that the Noghri would meet a swift death if they engaged his former apprentice in combat. As tough as they were, this young sith was vicious and had been trained by Jareth himself to be ruthless.

The Noghri did as they were told and brought Havoc into their master.

-comm to Jareth-

What percentage of the Sith have loyalties tied to you? And what percentage would agree to be contracted by me for something? I wish to draw up a small elite army to rid of some pesky enemies. It would be mutually benefitial, economically and socially to rid of these pests. The Emperor is no longer in control and the Imperials must pay for the deaths of Hutt's on Naboo and my slave on Kashyyyk. Get back to me right away. Oh, and your ships will be ready in 1 week.

With a simple wave of his hand, Darth Havoc sends his Noghri guide away ”“ this Sith Lord needed no guide but the Force. Charging ahead, Havoc follows his instincts and very soon stands before the Sith Lord known simply as Jareth. After a few awkward seconds, Havoc throws back his hood, revealing the worn face of a very old man ”“ the face of the first Hale Akturus...

"The Force is strong with this place."

Jareth looked upon the man who stood before him. His appearance was much different than Jareth remembered....In fact..he was a different person all together. The sudden shock of this sent Jareth's hand to his lightsaber, but then, through the force, he saw the truth.

The man before him was indeed Salus Monn. In some form, anyway. The force did not lie.

"Tell me, young lord havoc...have you lost your fangs as well as your hair?"

Jareth began his statement with a half grin, and ended it with a sick laugh as he, through the force, bent his former apprentice down to one knee.

"You will bow before me Darth Havoc....for I am your superior once again."

Teeth clenched, Darth Havoc reaches out with the Force and pushes Jareth backwards. Havoc then stands, casually pulls back his black cloak, and rests a hand on the lightsaber at his side.

"You are gravely mistaken, I bow to know one. I do believe that you mistake me for that beast that you trained ”“ you must realize that this Salus Monn is essentially dead. I am the only Darth Havoc; a Sith Lord trained by none other than the legendary Darth Heretic ”“ accept this, or you will suffer the same fate as your apprentice."

At the insolence of the man before him, Jareth's rage grew.

"I'll kill you both...over and over again if need be." he spoke coldly.

This was Jareth's Planet....and HIS lab, and he would be damned if anyone would treat him this way...especially a mere Lord within the sith.

In a flash, a brilliantlly blue bolt of lightning leapt both from the sith master's fingertips and his bionic eye. The two sources amplified each other, and a burst of white-hot electricity seared it's way into Havoc's body causing him to twich and shake violently. Muscles that Havoc typically controlled voluntarily now jerked and clenched free from his control as the electric impulses were overridden by Jareth's attack.

His clothes began to smoke and his hair singed causing a foul stench to permeate the lab.

At the commotion, a squad of Noghri, armed to the teeth, came in to assist their master, and the Rancor could be heard below howling and clawing to get to Jareth's aid.

After a few seconds of this torture, Jareth released his icy, electrical grip over Havoc and spoke to him.

As he spoke, more guards filed in and surrounded the still smoldering sith.

"Now, You did not come here to disrespect me and be tortured into insanity....at least, I hope you didn't. What is your business here on my planet?"

"Your master should have taught you that the words of those who are higher rank than you within the order are always bold. His arrogance is a trait he should not have passed on. Unfortunately, we'll never know the answer to your question as that is not reality, and we ARE in the presence of my most loyal guard. Really, it makes no difference what I'd say without them here."

Jareth laughed in a tone that was full of mockery.

"Now, pick yourself up from the floor...Havoc...did you say it was? If you are quite finished with your silly display, and tell me why you have chosen me and my lab as the site for your re-introduction to the sith order? Also, what happened to my former apprentice?"

*Rhekath's ship emerged from space and descended upon the planet, He gathered his things and Left his ship. He Opened a unencoded frequncy.*

"If Anyone by the name of Jareth is within the sound of my voice, please respond. Official sith buisness."

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

Jareth sighed loudly, and then waved a hand to dismiss his guards.

"You may return to your posts, give me regular reports." He spoke as they filed out leaving the two sith in the lab by themselves.

Jareth then followed them out of the room, and turned back to Havoc as he reached the door.

"You may follow me if you wish."

He then disappeared out into the hallway and made his way toward the newcomer.

Once he reached the man, he spoke,

"What business do you have with me? Or rather, what business do the sith have with me that they would send an unknown messenger to my planet?"

His words were cold and unforgiving.

'You're certainly very popular today, Lord Jareth.'

Victus walks out of the shadows, arms rested across his chest, face obscured as ever.

'I wouldn't want to be on your bad side.'

"Then you should adress me as Master Jareth," The sith snarled in response to this tertiary newcomer.

The third arrival was correct though. Jareth did seem very popular.

"Now....If the two of you could explain to me why you are here."

'I'd watch your tone if I were you, Sith. You have no idea who you're dealing with.'

Victus' tone has changed, his voice cold.

'Now, as to the why of my being here; I have a proposition...'

Jareth turns and walks back into his facility. He advises, via comm for all defenses to target the disrespectful one, Victus.

The door begins to slam shut, but the sith master first uses the force to pull Rhekath into the building.

His body flings through the air into the main entryway of the lab just before the cold metal doors close and finish their locking protocols. All turrets and cannons then can be heard zero'ing in on Victus.

Jareth's Chief guard sends him a communication, "ready to fire on your order master."

The sith master replies, "Hold your fire for now. See what he does first. If you see an act of agression, destroy the target with extreme prejudice."

"Yes my lord." the Noghri's voice snarls back over the comm-waves.

Jareth pays no more mind to Victus, and instead focuses on Rhekath.

"Now. If you can speak to me in a more acceptable tone than our friend outside, then perhaps I will listen. What is it you need young one? I already know, but I want to hear you say it."
