Micheals emerald eyes scan the Holonet as news articles od death, birth, and murder flyby. hispatience was wearing thin just sitting on his arse waiting. He decidesto go get some training the old fashion way. He pulls on a black trenchcioat over his new armor and he dones his black helmet. He buttons up the coat and ties a sash around the wait. He looked like a monster of pure darkness ready to pounce on an innocent victim.

His footsteps echoed death as he walked downthe halls the city. He knew every inhabitants eyes were watching him like a hawk, hoping and praying to whatever diety they worshiped, that he did not look their way. As if his very gaze would condem them to death and eternal damnation. They all breathed a sigh of relief when he passed their door and into the rain. It was as if time stood still as raindrops landed on his visor and slowly ran down. His right arm inchedover to his left to open the doors of his FireSpray. Micheal had yet to find a suitable namefor his ship, no doubt one would come with the passing of time.

As he started up the engines of his ship, he began to wonder if he was doing thr right thing, putting a bounty on Jaina's head. But he would also figure that out at a later date. All he knew now was, he needed practice. His fingers seemed to dance across the controls as he plugged in coordinates for his destination. A place only the crazy deemed suitable. A place where only the insane deemed livable. A place only the demented went to. The perfect place for Micheal.

His engines roar to life and fire burns the landing bay as the FireSpray lifts off the platform and heads into the rainy abyss. Soon the red and blue ship is nothing more than a memory.

(If you are sending me a com about the bounty, send it to me personal comlink on my wrist. I will be on Myrkr. Thank you.)

Khorne's form lapsed in and out of consciousness, if the vast emptiness of his mind could be considered that. Without the amulet, he was not a person but a vessel without a purpose. He existed and did not, the body functioned as the pariah form that it was, but its effect was minimized, while the amulet and the axe held the being.

In an apparent demonstration of tremendous effort, enough of his will lingered in the body to perform a single act for his revival...

A bellowing scream at all who were near and within the scope of reach...

"AMULET!"

Then the body collapsed onto the hard metal floor of the caged environment returning to its catatonic state.

The majority of people can be manipulated by inspiring dread, and unlike a direct mind rape, they won't realize that any foul play has occurred. Furthermore, since the effect is not focused, it is harder to counter.

Standing calmly, Faust listens, pursing his lips in thought.

"Interesting," he murmers, staying focused. He keeps a cool demeanor, but underneath he keeps his anger clenched, flexing it with his will.

Breathing normally, his chest rises and falls faster that normal, keeping the manipulation at a steady level. The crux is to keep it constant, a permanent effect.

For a first time effort, he has had easier ones.

The uses for this trick, and it really was a trick- mean, small, but useful and subtile, were myriad. Intimidation and negotiation, setting enemies off balance in battle, and dulling the senses of others. In theory though, Faust realized a with a concetrated strike he could have people's hearts burst in their chest- dead of fright. His lips curl into a smile. While not subtile, it might prove to be a life saver.

Though he could not see his effort effect his fellow Sith,

Fear may lead to anger, but a Sith has no fear. Fear is the mind killer they say... And now I am Sith, or on the path to being one rather... Curious.

he knew that at the level he worked at now, if it was any other ordinary person, or if he was walking down a dusty street in Tatooine, he would see dull orange lights start marking his passing behind him without breaking a sweat. He breathes out slowly, relaxing and turning it off.

"What's next?"

In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, bloodshed - but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

Your thoughts mislead you, Sith have fear, for fear is a powerful motivator. Fear of failure drives one to excel, fear of loss drives one to protect that which they value with inhuman ferocity. It is an overabundance of fear that must be avoided, for then the fear will control you. But when you are in control, fear can be used to drive yourself to levels well beyond your normal capibilities.

The exception to this is when you are using your precognitive skills, then fear clouds your intuitive ability and sends false warnings, which brings us to our next exercise, sensing attacks. The standard way that both Sith and Jedi detect attacks is by creating something akin to a sphere of awareness, of which they are capable of sensing everything within. While it may be suitable in melee combat to focus on such a tight sphere of awareness, the reality is that many of your enemies will not engage you in close combat, especially regarding snipers.

Therefore, the old way leaves you vulnerable to your most insidious threat. But we are not here to blindly follow old traditions and immitate ancient techniques. We are here to adapt and evolve.

Every time a warrior forms the desire to strike an enemy, he imparts the attack with some of himself. This imbuement surrounds the attack, saturates it, follows it and precedes it. Therefore, by focusing on those who desire to strike us, we can be aware of all threats to us, rather than just those in the immediate area.

Now, tell me what events led to where you are now, so that I can tell you where your future lies.

Snipers indeed... You have no idea...

Sniping, he remembered, proved by and far the most effecient way to deal with meddlesome force users, just like Adi Wan and Taren the Terror had found out. Dimly he wondered what Lermos was up to and where his travels may have taken him.

"Hmm," Faust muses, "I cannot say I'm an expert on this subject, but from what I've picked up in my travels, most dark side and Sith theorists regard implimenting fear into others as a manner of seduction into the dark side- a means, but not an end. The desire for victory should be driven not by fear of failure, which is a negative, but a hunger, a need for success. That want and want itself is all thr drive a person should ever need. However," he adds cautiously, "that as, as I said, one theory."

Faust crosses his arms, leaving back against the wall of the ship. "As for my past, it's not too long of a story. My parents were Jedi refugees apparently, or so the rumors say. The order fell, they fell in love, and they ended up fleeing to some blasted hell hole of a world to go into hiding. It was a small planet just on the edge of civilized space, a man made desert and full of warring bands who fought for control of that worthless rock. My family hooked up with one of the local warlords, gained some projection and we faught for him. My parents and a younger sister died in his service. I survived, though I lost an arm."

Faust's blue eyes harden and the tempeture in the room seems to drop two degrees. "It turns out the planet was a kind of testing ground for his Imperial majesty. They kept the fighting going, helping keep the warlords constantly off balance and at each others throats. Every decade they'd hand pick several of the best fighters, take them for training into his majesty's service at Arc-Class storm troopers and even Royal Guardsmen. I ended up as neither."

Faust draws in a breath and continues. "My parents knew this would happen I think and I don't know how they did it, but they got ahold of a merchantman traveling in exotics and obtained a ysalmari. When my arm was blown off and I got a replacement, it was put in there, hiding me from Imperial detection. It was ironic I ended up as an executioner on a Lictor Class Dungeon ship, used for transporting and disposing of force users. Somehow I was able to obtain a very rare, very unique weapon on one of those- a vibroblade forged by some ancient Sith remenants- half cortosis and half Sith Steel- far superior to any lightsaber in combat I would find out. Only recently was I able to get a suit of body armor of the same make. Anyhow, after a year or so of that I grew sickened of that life and decided to rebel. I slew my crewmates in cold blood. The prisioners rioted and we got blasted apart from with in. Only a handful of us survived, but we were marooned in deep space."

"Thankfully some smugglers came by. These Corellian's made a profit in dealing with black market Imperial goods- salvaging ship parts and reselling them to the rebels, crime bosses, and even back to the Empire. I hooked up with their leader for some time and made a comfortable living, doing some odd jobs on the side as a hunter and hired merc. We parted ways and I went into business for myself, doing high class banditry and assassination- taking out casinos and lieutenants of crime bosses and doing quite well on my own."

Faust's tale started to draw to a close. "Finally, about two years ago, I received word one of my old smuggler friends went into business on his own. I showed up to help him manage his affairs while he dealt with some legal troubles. Eventually he reconsilidated and I took my cut of the profits, then left to go full time into hunting. Ah, then I felt truly alive again. The hunt, the chase, the conquest. Beautiful and fulfilling. I made my share of hits and catastrophies, a wedding or two here, a funeral there, and I earned a name for myself."

"Finally after a bounty where I had to stop some madman from nuking the galaxy, I ended up falling in love. Then came a disasterous hit on Bespin against the "rogue" Hutts, though I have some suspicions on that. I ended up needing to make a break after it for her protection and found myself drawn here."

"It seems like a journey in progress," he entones, his voice hollow, "I know somehow my dark side talents were meant to be developed. I wish to be the greatest hunter that ever lived, and may have at one point come close, holding a galaxy in my hands. Still, I seek the power to comfirm that, to set it in absolute certainty, that I, Vladimir Faust, am the premire hunter in this galaxy, that nothing will stand in my way and that all life, if I chose, could be mine for the taking."

As he finishes, his voice grows deeper, more powerful, and his blue eyes blaze with cold fire and fury.

Kamino. The small planet that started the big war. Kamino was known as the planet that created the clones that eventually became the Stormtroopers used within the Galactic Empire. So in that regard, most people hate these graceful and slender creatures. But some people absolutely love them, as does Pvt. Evan Kerry.

Which is who sent the dozens of shuttles beasring the insignia of the Cerberus. They speed toward the roush seas of Kamino with a devious plan. Six Lambda Class Shuttles carrying techniccians to assits the Kaminoans in their new project. Six Senintal Class Shuttles bring the Hell Hounds and other Stormtroopers toward Kamino. they were to provide protection.

Colonel Manarse strides from a Lambda shuttles and greets a tall Kaminoan.

"Hello, my name is Grima Tsu. I have been sent to escort you and your men to the barracks, armory, and cloning facilities. Please follow me."

With a nod, the troops and technicians from the shuttle follow Grima through the city. they each stop at their appropriated spots. At the end of the tour, only the technicians and the Colonel remain.

"Here is the cloning facility. I hope our technicians will be sufficient for what you request."

The technicians enter the facility and begin working. They had brought the DNA of Pvt. Evan Kerry, and combined it with Jango Fetts. They were hoping to create the perfect soldiers. Soon the old cloning machines of Tipoca City are up and running.

Colonel Manarse smiles. Everything was going as planned.

We are the Body.

The large Revelation came roaring through the clouds and into the rain. Below the vessel, the oceans raged in the storm. Just above the water, a grey kamino structure stood.

The vessel slowly landed on the landing pad. From the underbelly a platform slid down with the three jedi on it. As it touched down, Tares walked off and looked back, "Many people have questioned why I would buy a vacation home on Kamino, something I never understood myself. Anyway, you are welcome to stay in my home for as long as you wish...."

Indeed, 2,000 units are ready with 10,000 more well on their way. Your master will be proud of the army we have constructed for him, it is perhaps one of the finest we've ever built, but I'm sure you're anxious to inspect the units for yourself.

”˜My master? Well she can't mean Tares because they would have seen me arrive with him”¦ She must mean Chen.'

A slightly puzzled look appeared briefly in Skye's eyes before she again schooled her expression. The comet on her bare back pulsed like a living entity and she shivered slightly before replacing her cloak.

”œThat's what I'm here for”¦”

As Raziel is following Tares through the halls he is admiring the buildings and the plant itself.

I would pay a house it is so nice. How could someone not like it here.

As the are walking down the hall he notices Skye falling behind them. I wonder why she was called here. I guess we will find out soon enough.

Skye was very impressed as she was led through the complex. She couldn't not be. Every angle had been covered and all the training had been detailed.

"You must be proud of your work. The clones are very impressive. I'll be sure to send a favourable report to Ch... "

Skye caught her breath as she realised what the ambassador had said. Now she was utterly confused. Her mind raced in circles and a puzzled expression crossed her face, who was Tzeentch? 'Tzeentch? How? Who? No... she had to mean Chen... didn't she?'

"When did... my master... first get in contact with you over the army?"

She kept her voice neutral and calm as she now wanted as much information as she could possibly get. She needed to know. She had many questions going through her mind and could feel the tattoo rippling across her back with a life of it's own.

Back at Tares' home, the relaxed Jedi led Rizzy into the main area where a fire began to burn for warmth. Moving into the kitchen he fixed some drinks, then motioned for the young padawan to join him for a drink.

Settling down on one of the giant leather seats, he rested for a moment, then waited....

”˜That's strange”¦ I was there when the Dark Lord fell”¦ not that I was aware of much of what was going on then”¦ I wonder who she means... ' Skye took the information in, not that it told her that much but if she found enough out it might all add up later.

”œI will let Admiral Black of the Rebellion know that the first detachments are ready for deployment then. Thankyou. If you don't mind my asking, who were the clones based on? There was another thing I was wondering as well. I would like to leave a DNA sample here on Kamino. You never can tell what the future holds. ”

Your master referred to the clones as being Massassi, however we are not aware of any species called the Massassi. He used genetic data that he himself aquired, we know not of its origin.

"It's actually a mix of the local Kamino water and a fruit found on Naboo. Personally I find it does well to keep the body energized, gives you that long lasting boost all Jedi need from time to time."

Letting the time past, Tares could finally sense Skye approaching once again. "So what brought you to the Jedi Order, Rizzy?"

Skye stopped outside Master Tares' door for a moment, leaning with her back against the wall beside it. Her thoughts were still focused on Chen... or rather how the Kaminoan referred to him as Tzeentch. She was puzzled how the request for the army had come in before the fall of the Dark Lord of the Sith which had happened on the last mission she had been on.

How could ”˜Tzeentch' have known to have an army created for the Rebellion? ”˜Chen did say that he was a God though”¦ maybe he does have some way of knowing'. She really wanted to speak with Chen, to clear a lot of confusion up as well as to see the man she loved again.

She mentally shrugged as she shifted her weight away from the wall, and entered her old master's home in time to hear Master Tares asking Rizzy about what brought him to the Jedi Order. She remained silent as she waited to see how he would answer.

As Rizzy contemplated his answer he took a sip of his drink.

"Well I had nothing left in my life. No family, no friends. It was me, my ship and my weapon. Everything I knew was gone. So I left in search of a better life.

I left my former life behind in search of a better one. That is how I met Kat. She and I traveled together for a while. But then..."

As he is saying this he looks at the floor... "then a few months ago she disappeared. I was in the process of trying to find her on Coruscant when I met Skye. I was in a bit of a depression and drinking way too much. I am hoping that once my training is done that I can continue my search. Of course, that is if it is ok."

Taking another sip of his drink he sits back. I wonder if I will ever see her again. I will find her, I must find her. I can't believe I am even talking to them about this.

"All I have now is my ship and the order.

This drink.. it is really good. Can I get some more of it please?"

"Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter."

Moving forward from where she had been standing, Skye placed a comforting hand onto Rizzy's shoulder.

"The Jedi are your family now. You will find that you'll come to share a special relationship with other's of the Order. And you never know, one day you might find your friend."

Removing her hand, she moved over to Master Tares.

"Now, where were we Master Tares? I've completed what I had to come here for although it did leave me with more questions to which I would love to find answers for. Have you heard the name Tzeentch before Master?"

Rizzy looked up at Skye "Thank you for you support. I just...need some time to think about some things over. Well we be here much longer? If so may I have a room I need to clean up and get a bit of sleep."

((ok coz of what the hacker did with losing all the posts, I luckily had them saved. I have permission to repost Tares posts.))

Tares:

As Tares fetched Rizzy an other drink from the kitchen, he ran the name Skye had mentioned through his mind. Once he returned he handed the drink over to the young padawan, then looked to Skye, "I'm afraid that name doesn't strike any memories of mine."

Taking a seat, Tares let out a deep breath, "You two are welcome to stay here for as long as you want. There are rooms just past the kitchen for both of you. As far as your test goes Skye, there are only a couple more stages of it....

Skye:

”œI'm ready to continue when you are and thankyou for the offer.”
