The city that Dominique found herself in was astounding. She could feel the darkness of the world with every fiber of her being as it pulsated. It was as if the planet itself was alive and as far as she knew it just might be. She had never been anywhere that had left such a profound impact on her as the rivers of blood and intimidating labyrinths of this place and she had only just arrived. The petite framed women hadn't a clue what to expect on this trip, but she knew she wouldn't let her guard down.

”œAtia, did you learn anything from your studies?”

A subtle surface scan of the girls mind was simple enough and since Atia hadn't been with Dominique for too long, she felt it was required. She had told her she hadn't finished studying, but what she hadn't said was far more interesting then any of the dribble she spoke. She seemed to be proud about all the studying she had done, when she had merely been learning what others came to the Sith already knowing. Like a slow child playing catch up in school.

Dominique glanced over to make sure that the girl's hood was up enough to reveal her eyes. Atia was six inches taller then her, but if she was as good a judge of weight as she felt she was the girl didn't weigh more then ten pounds then her. For her size, such a weight was near sickening. She was surely little more then a skeleton under her clothes. The thought amused the small lady as she recalled her former apprentice's arm and what she had done to it.

A tendril of the force slithered out from her form, seeking out the light presence that Revan had mentioned. It wasn't hard to find figure's force signature; it was a blazing beacon of light in a unforgiving sea of darkness. Why the person had ever come here, and lived this long, was a mystery to her but then she felt that they would soon find out.

Dominique watched Revan kick the Jedi with a look of mild indifference. She didn't much care for his act of violence against the man, but it made little difference. The Jedi was doomed from the instant he sat foot on this planet. She looked over and noticed that Atia wasn't watching the violence. She clicked her tongue, but didn't move to make Atia look as Revan beat up a defenseless Jedi.

She focused on Revan's words before Atia's, since at the moment he held importance over her young apprentice. A minor prove of the force told here there wasn't another living soul on the ship, but it would be smart to search it regardless.

”œThere aren't any others inside, and most supplies a Jedi would carry would prove useless to us”¦but it'd be wise to search it regardless.”

”œHmm, I would have guessed you to be wiser then that. You know of Kakuto, don't you Revan? Even if he was done, disabled, unable to use the force, with every bone in his body broken”¦would you walk up to him with as you did this Jedi? I certainly wouldn't and I'd wager if you did, you'd end up dead.”

Dominique kept a neutral expression as the man made his assumptions about her alignment. He spoke without any knowledge about her other then which aspect of the force she drew upon the most. Apparently the man felt that he was in a position to insult and challenge; perhaps she had been wrong about speaking of how Jedi could be cunning even when down and out.

Her fingers wrapped around his throat, heating up and searing the flesh there until her hand print was burned into his skin. It was a superficial wound that would be agonizing, but leave no true damage.

”œMy name is Dominique. If you ever call me a Sith again, you'll soon realize why some say that death is an escape. No ones fighting you here and no one is using cheap tactics and dirty tricks, so why don't you shut your mouth until you have an answer for me. Understand?”

”œHe is a wounded animal and I assure you there isn't a single conventional Jedi left these days. Many of them skirt the Dark Side, but won't ever admit it. They play with it as if it is a toy that won't have any ill effects on them, yet they don't realize it is slowly corrupting them. Poisoning them. It might only take days before they fall, weeks”¦even years, but it will happen. It always does.”

Dominique's face remained neutral as Dagon referred to her apprentice as a meatsack. She didn't particularly care, as they were only words but she found it amusing that a male would call anything else a meat sack. After all, in the end even Dagon was a male though sometimes she questioned if he could even be defined with such terms. He was always business as far as she had seen, as if that part of his brain had been cut off completely.

Her curiosity had been set off and she was left wondering if it would be possible to do such a thing and rid herself of any remaining thoughts that weren't needed. With a final nod to Atia and Revan she followed Dagon deeper into the city of horrors unspeakable. If the place wasn't so hostile towards everyone, it would be a nice place to find solitude and further her studies and training.

Dominique followed Dagon quietly, observing the city in all of its perverse glory. She could feel the arrival of Revan back on the planet as well as a second, unknown figure, but they were hardly interesting. The young woman was far more concerned with where she was being lead. Her steps were silent as she fought back her curiosity and kept her guard up. Her weapon sat on her back, it's aura a part of hers. Both were tiny blips on the radar compared the sheer power the planet itself possessed.

Could he be leading me to another power?

She rolled her shoulders and brushed a lock of her raven hair out of her face, quickening her pace at the same time. They had found something back on Mon Calimari, but had yet to ”˜open it up' so to speak. If her thoughts were correct, then soon she would have not one, but two skills to go along with her shadow craft.

The haunting, almost creepy eyes of the woman were the opposite of Dominique's brightly lit, lightly colored eyes. There clothes were not dissimilar though, as both were dark clothes that matched the darkness that was concealed within each of them. She stayed close to Dagon, not wishing to offend the figure that seemed to be an embodiment of the planet.

When Dagon and she came to a halt, she looked to him expecting him to speak with the woman as he seemed to know what he was doing.

Dominique raised an eyebrow, but the rest of her face remained expressionless. The female that stood before them had once been as they were? That meant there was a chance that one day she would end up just like this powerful entity. Such a prospect was both frightening and alluring at the same time.

”œHave you called us here to impart knowledge then?”

Dominique's eyes, once so full of life and energy but no cold and cruel, gazed upon the black chalice. The embodied entity spoke of a power that was quite appealing, but to drink of a chalice that she knew nothing of could be considered foolish. There was always the chance, however slight, that she had been led her with the intention of being murdered but as she dwelled for but a moment on the thought she found that she came up starkly indifferent on the subject.

The small framed woman took two steps forward and accepted the chalice with both hands. The force radiated off of the item in pulsing waves when she held it. The fluid inside was thick and merely a shade lighter then the chalice itself.

Blood

She lifted it up slowly. The contrast between her colorless features, save the light pink shade of her lips, and the deep scarlet of the blood and the black chalice were immense. She tilted it, drinking in a gulp of the blood and letting the salty, metallic flavor of the fluid wash over her taste buds before turning and offer it to Dagon. Surprisingly, her face didn't have a drop of blood on it despite the angle she had tilted it too.

Dominique's cold eyes took in the appearance of the new arrival. She seemed to know Dagon and have an innate connection to this planet, otherwise she'd have been dead before ever making it this far. Regardless, though, she was merely another person. Dominique wasn't a fan of being around men, but she enjoyed the company of women even less; back stabbing, clawing, and whiney little things. They were below her.

She watched as both Dagon and Kaylynn pulled a deep drink from the chalice. Their auras were drastically changed by the drink of the blood. Black lines criss-crossed the other colors she could perceive around them. The woman barely made use of her empathetic abilities as she had when she was younger, but they were always there showing her things that others wished to hide. Her lightly colored eyes turned to focus on Dagon as she spoke.

”œI have things I must tend to, will you be needing me further or shall I take my leave?”

Dominique's eyes focused on the woman who had the gull to invade her mind when she could have just spoken as others did. Perhaps she was the type that relied to heavily on the force, or perhaps she was just too lazy to use her mouth. Regardless, she didn't appreciate it. Her words told Dominique much about the woman and only made her a bit more eager to take her leave. Dagon hadn't given any objections, so she felt now would be the time to take her leave.

As she passed Kaylynn she spoke quietly to her, pausing only long enough to speak.

”œDarkness hasn't a need to state that it is darkness; it simply is.”
