Background: An unknown Anomid baby was found as a baby on board a pirate ship captured by several Jedi saving hostages, amongst the salvaged treasures the pirates had acquired. It was quickly discovered that  the child was force sensitive, and none of the hostages claimed the child as their own. Even the pirates were unaware the child was in the ship. With no idea on how to trace the child’s parents, the child was taken in by the academy, and trained almost exclusively on Coruscant and Felucia. 

 

Named Blest Fate, as a wink to the fact of the child’s luck in being found, the child was trained in the Jedi arts and progressed adequately. Her teachers commented that while she didn’t fall behind like some Jedi initiates, she didn’t exactly stand out either. Aware of how this could mean getting no master after her trials, Fate dedicated himself to proving herself with her lightsaber combat, and hoped that her skill with a blade would be enough to get a potential master’s attention. 

 

Sadly, she still did not gain a master, and was planned to be sent to assist security on some far-flung outpost. However, when the war broke out, Fate instead was enlisted to help lightsaber training at the temple on Felucia for the young initiates, in case of attack. While unorthodox, Fate hoped this would be another route to becoming a Jedi Knight, and dedicated herself to learning the Jedi code in any way possible, as well as expanding her insticual skillset with the mechanical systems. 

 

Finally, Fate was picked out to help the defense on Nar Shaddaa with Jedi Master Sinf Slyites. Sensing a turn in the Force for herself, Fate hoped that this battle would prove helpful and she would show Master Slyites to put in a good word for Fate to officially become a knight. However, during the battle, Slyites died, and Fate, as well as Slyites’s apprentice, was presumed dead.
