Background: 

Born many years before the current conflict, Talyn Orin grew up a outcast. Rejected by his wealthy father at a young age he was thrown out for being a illegitimate child born out of a fling and was refused access to his mother as a result. Growing up on the streets of Coruscant, Talyn soon learnt the rules of the street and how to survive using his natural gifts. Stealing and pickpocketing to survive he soon learnt to fight and fend for himself before making a name for himself among the local gangs where he was taught by a professional mercenary how to shoot various rifles and blasters before his untimely death in a bar brawl. 

 

For several more years life was the same until a opportunity came knocking in the form of Nikolai Kolchak. Seizing a opportunity, still a child the young Talyn thought nothing of him as he proceeded to attempt to steal from the man. Running from the scene and putting up quite the challenge and chase he impressed the man enough to warrant interest when he was soon caught. Facing a potential sentence in a cell for many years he was offered a choice given his obvious potential. Come work for him in Imperial Intelligence or be locked up and never see the light of day again. He chose the latter. 

 

Soon he was inducted into Imperial Intelligence, receiving personal training from the man, who soon became the closest thing to a friend to him. As the years went on and his training advanced, Talyn soon proved himself a capable agent who was very resistant to Sith Mind probing and Torture technique, something which made him stand out as a asset for deep cover work. After many assignments, and rising through the ranks Kolchak soon sent Talyn on his most important mission. To infiltrate the ranks of the Sith Military Academy and see what he could learn all about their operations from the inside. He didn't hesitate to say yes, wanting vengeance for the destruction they wrought upon his homeworld and the galaxy. 

 

Successfully infiltrating, Talyn stayed undercover for years, passing many secrets and important intelligence to Imperial Intelligence. However recently his cover was blown after years being intact and he was forced to make a daring escape. Heading word of the battle of Nad Shadda, he knew he needed to get hold of his former comrade however he arrived only to find destruction and so left to search elsewhere. Soon enough and he got back in contact with Imperial Intelligence who sent him in the right direction, directing him towards Qessax Jal Todda who he was told would know what to do with him.
