Background:

 

Leena Kil, a rather unfortunate last name for someone in her standing, is on the verge of being promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight and assigned to the Circle of Jedi Healers. She is anxiously awaiting her first assignment in this war torn galaxy so as to undergo her trials and attain the rank of Knight

 

Much of Leena’s training took place under a variety of Jedi healers, her affinity to the force being found early in her life and her skills with healing being found not terribly long after that. Sheltered away from the galaxy at large, Leena devoted herself to studying the healing arts on both physical and mental levels, with the force and by hand. Often enough she was called upon to assist the healers as they treated wounded Jedi and outsiders who arrived on their steps. They did not turn anyone away. It was a good way to see the galaxy without seeing much of it all. Leena knee the dangers that lurked out in the wilds beyond the temples’ walls, even though she rarely got to experience any of them first hand - sage for a foray or two to lend aid to some overworked and understaffed aid center on Coruscant or Kashyyk or Corellia under the tutelage of a master healer. 

 

Leena’s earliest memories were of the Jedi and the temples are her home. The rare Mon Cal that she has seen has been something of a wonder and a testament to biology leading psychology as the girl never passed up a chance to talk to someone that looked like her. She always walked away fascinated by how similar and different their outlooks on life and habits were.

Leena was present on Mon Cal for the outbreak of a mysterious malady and the ensuing Sith attack and takeover. During that time, she was in a hospital when it was errantry destroyed, present when Quarren government forces bombed the offworlder / refugee warehouses, and then in the sewers and flooded tunnels where the darkness hungered. She escaped in the flooding if the tunnels. Here she struggled against Sith troopers.

 

Leena went to Scarifnwith Tali’au and Sandy Sarna to deal with a leaking reactor from a crashed Star Destroyer. They were all exposed to high levels of radiation.  She performed Jedi Healing on the ravaged Sandy Sarna and got them out of the underwater crashed ship and to safety. For this, Leena was granted the rank of Jedi Knight.

Background: 
The Imperial Momship Formally Known as Admital Sairdonga, officially known as the Admiral Sairdonga, is an Anaxes war college training vessel that has been placed on loan to a band of Squib spacers under the command of  Jolementine-ynn-traiiling aka Reaper Joe after the Squibs arrived en masse insistent on repaying a life debt of which the details still remain vague; but include the saving of several Squibian lives by the actions of a collection of Jedi. The vessel, usually manned by recruits, but setting in drydock was loaned to the Squib spacers under very specific contract so as to assist in the fight against the “Bad big guy nasty nasty stinky Sith lords of darkest dark” and to return it unscathed. The ship was designated to act as a command ship from which the Squib could operate the remainder of their ragtag fleet.

The largest of the self-designed and constructed Squib Needle Ships rival standard class corvettes in size and ability. While not equipped with cannons or missile banks, the ships boast numerous high powered tractor beams that are useful for salvaging. Having turned their outlooks to war the tractor beams are not large enough to prevent enemy vessels from getting away, but are accurate enough so as to be used for pinpoint destructive activities. Each ship is uniquely constructed from salvaged bits and baubles; and as such, no two vessels appear alike.  The Squib Needle Ships are assigned to the Rebellion under the same brokered deal as the Admiral Sairdonga.

History

 

Background:

Reaper Joe is a Squib leader of a large band of  salvaging experts. He came into the title due to a series of orchestrated trades and accidents. For the last half decade he has led his faithful band scavenging and salvaging the remains of ‘accidents’ and space battles; sometimes before they are quite finished. It was on one of these occasions that The Squibs came under fire from an unidentified force that left their ragtag band devastated and for dead in the void of space. Dead, that is, if not rescued by a certain young Jedi, Leena Kil and company. From then on, the Squibs and Leena developed a strange friendship; a friendship resulting in the Squibs coming to the aid of the Jedi and the fledgling Rebel Alliance.
