*DMD stood immobolized by a sudden feeling that had crept into his soul. He temporarily lost touch with reality and slipped into a dream like state. Something was wrong in the galaxy. Something that he couldn't quite interpret but a feeling of dread accompanied it. DMD remained in that state for a period of time unknown to him. When he came back to his senses, The young Sith whom he held with his powers, words echoed in and out of his ears. The trance like state weakened his force hold over Exar Palpatine, whom saw his for escape and disappeared into a chamber beneath his city-fortress. DMD followed him but was too late because the Sith had sealed himself in a cloning chamber. DMD's anger was rising, though he constantly pleaded with the Exar Palpatine to open the chamber. After his final plea, DMD summoned his powers of the force and began to squeeze the chamber with invisble hands. The pressure began to crack the walls and rupture the floors. The chamber started to leak the ice cold waters of the sea that surrounded his city-fortress. When the chamber was filled, DMD had two of his Sith War droids use their lightsabers to melt the rock around the edges to stop the leaking of water in the lower regions of his palace. DMD left a final momento. He carved a message using ancient Sith glyphs on the boulder. When deciphered it said, "Beware my wrath".*

OOC: Xodius, you can't post my actions.

IC: A question crossed Torment's mind.

What did he possibly think he could gain by attacking me?

This time, he sent a stream of yellow Sith lightning at his apprentice. He held his right arm in the air, with Darth Anguish suspended helplessly above him. The air was cackling and Torment looked straight into his apprentice's eyes. The same cries of agony were audible again.

"What do you think you are doing?! You are my apprentice, but that does not mean you are not expendable.

Know this - if you try that again, I will kill you in a heartbeat."

By that time, Anguish was on the verge of unconciousness. With a snap of his wrist, Lord Torment sent his apprentice hammered into the cave wall. Torment walked away soon after.

X just laughed hysterically as he caughed, and cleared his throat, finally saying "....I am sorry master....you should realize that i'm new to this for one thing, and clinically insane for another. I will try to not let this happen again...but i want to duel you. Fighting you is invigerating. It's the greatest honor, let alone challenge, that i've had in the longest time. I promise master, that i will respect you. I do wish to battle you once-in-a-while though...if you do not wish for this to happen....just tell me. I am, again, sorry master. thank you for your patience and understanding." With this, X rose, feeling more powerful than before. And thought to himself ....surely this man is grand. After only one battle with him, one, i am feeling more powerful than ever. I wonder what he has for me next...

A Sith War Droid appears at the mouth of the cave. It's silhouette marked its dark outline in the moonlight. It made its way to Darth Anguish as he slowly woke from the hard floor. Darth Torment's voice was suddenly echoed across the large cave, but he was no where to be seen. A crude lightsaber was thrown at Anguish.

"My apprentice, the droid before you is designed to kill. You must destroy it to avoid death. The droid is equipped with state of the art armor, twin blaster cannons, and its own custom-made lightsaber. It had been programmed with the skills of a dozen martial arts masters, and their reflexes are calibrated just a hair faster than human optimum. A mistake will be fatal."

Torment's voice suddenly evaporated and Anguish is left to fend for himself. The droid recieving the signal, advances, and unleashes its blaster cannons.

Anguish looked up quickly, to barely dodge the blasters. He runs around the bot, and up the wall of the cave, making a dive for the lightsaber. He then quickly switched to form III, to perform defensive manuevers. Lashing out, and pulling the darkness from within, Anguish deflected every single blaster. The canon's ammo struck near him, and was powerful enough to send him roaring across the room, but he landed on his feet. His hair flung infront of him, and a blaster zipped by singeing it and part of his forehead. Anguish just took a hard breath, and absorbed the pain. He picked up, slowly, and many other blaster shots were fired at him, and he deflected them back at the bot...

Anguish tripped from running, and fell in pain. He rolled twice, as the blasters were fired at him, one by one. He then ran up the cave wall, and began to drop down. In slow motion, he was flipping backwards. He then planted his fet directly onto the bots head. In the process, the bot caught his left arm. This just enraged him more, so he quickly flipped again before hitting the ground, and extended his light saber into the torso of the bot, making most of the weapons non-functional. The bot turned fast, to catch its fist into Anguish's temple, and pressing a button, egniting a bright red light from it's body.

OOC: SoP is my alias, you are meant to leave him alone for a reason. I did that because i'm no longer going to RP. I did that so he wasn't just standing around or something. So leave him alone, for i will not post a reply to your actions, and you can attack him as much as you like, and he won't respond, or will you cause any damage to him. This goes to everyone, i have officially left the RP.

In a scream of pain Anguish yelled "This ends now!!!" He let the blad slice through his shoulder, and he dropped to the floor. In the flash and spark of the light sabers, an explosion occurred. Both of the life-forms flew to the other sides of the cave. The bot rose first, and then Anguish. The bot then fell, smoke lifting from several parts of its body. Anguish turned off his saber in pride. He then threw it down, and said "There! i have passed your test....now what?!"

This echoed throughout the cave. Then, from an unknown part of the cave, came the voice of his master...

Exar uses the Force to remove the enormous amount of rock out of the way of the chamber. He had finished his refinement of his Sith skills, and was ready to kill. He made his way back to the planet's surface to find that it was dark out. He smiled, he pushed some buttons on his Sith wrist device, and the Deviant IV came into view. He activated his Jetpack, then turned it back off. He instead jumped to the ship, and walked up the ramp. The ship then turns around and goes into space. Then into hyperspace, leaving the planet of Byss, and his backup clones, behind.

Lord Torment I..............

*DMD was cut off by the reemergance of SOP from the sealed and flooded chamber underneath his palace. At first he considered trying to be civil about allowing a Sith of his caliber on his world, but now he had not only insulted his home, he had insulted the ruler of Byss. DMD called for a squadron of HLAF 500's to chase him down and destroy him if possible. He also sends a platoon of War droids to destroy all traces of his clones and/or existance from his palace.*

Torment, if he ever returns to my world, I want him executed with extreme prejudice. That is if I don't find him first? I am going to Coruscant. I sense that Khaos is there somewhere and I am curious to know why he hasn't contacted me upon his return from where ever he has been. I am taking the fleet with me.

*As they speak in the city/fortress below, the giant hangar doors concealed inside a stone cliff begin to open. The first ships out are the Strike class Cruisers. Then the Interdictors, followed by the Destoyers. Each ship that exits the hangar leaves with a fighter sqaudron escort into orbit above Byss. The hangar doors close. In the not to distance horizon, a large ship rises from the the dark waters that make up the oceans of Byss. This ship is by far the largest and most powerful. The Sovereign class command ship slowly rises into low orbit, eclipsing the sun for a period of time. A sentinel class shuttle lands on the landing outside of his city-fortress, waiting for DMD.*

To much uncertainty in the galaxy for me right now. Better safe than sorry. What are your plans, Lord Torment?

"I see. I will stay here and continue to train my apprentice. If the Sith needs us, we shall offer them support."

Torment sent a Force message to Anguish. My apprentice, you are trapped in the cave and I will not be able to find you.

Darth Torment soon boards his ship and flies away.

*War.........or so it shall be called by all those who witnessed the events that took place on and above the Sith home world. To DMD, it was simply a slaughter. The Jedi had came strong. Stronger than he had ever seen any force that opposed the Sith and they achieved their objective. As far as he knew the Sith were all but annihalated during the battle. In the process, he lost his entire fleet save for the small shuttle he managed to escape in. He had recieved second and third degree burns on various parts of his body while escaping from the Fallen Angel before it went into orbital decay, then exploded in the atmosphere above the Sith temple.

Now that he had made it back to Byss, he felt at ease. It was not yet dawn on Byss and he desperately wanted to see the morning sun shine upon his city-fortress, as it rose from the depths of the sea. His shuttle however, had sustained damage far greater than the Sith Lord was aware of. During his approach to his palace, his stabilizers went out, causing the shuttle to go into a spin. Warning lights and sirens sounded as the shuttle spun blindly toward the dark waters on Byss. The impact on the water caused a hull breach. The shuttle was taking on water slowly. The impact of the crash landing had thrown DMD hard onto the flight controls. Something had snapped, He feared it was his wrist from trying to brace for the impact. Throught the viewport he watched the sun rise, while his hsip sank ino thte unknown darkness below of the planet he called home. His mask had been burned off in places, showing the harsh burns on his face. One of his eyes seemed to be burned shut.

When the water rose above the viewport, making his city-fortress a blurry visage, he found an image recorder he kept in a pouch on his belt. When he activated it, the image of Jgod appeared. He had felt her death in space, above the Sith temple. She was many things to him. She was his former master, his forbidden love, and his enemy at times. But that never changed the deep rooted emotions that dwelled within him for her. He looked back at the submerged veiwport and saw a reflection of himself.*

Look at how pitiful you have become, Lord Diabolus. Do you think Brook would want to remember you this way?

He switched off the image of Jgod and watched the darkness engulf the viewport. The pressure from the ocean was begining to squeeze the hull, ever tightly. He took his Sith sword in his hand. The sounds of his heavy breathing echoed through the shuttle, followed by the sounds of the water trying so desperately to get in. DMD through out both of his arms and released mulptiple streams of Sith lightening from his fingertips. He shouted with force and power as the hull ruptured, causing the shuttle to implode on itself. Death for DMD was sudden and painful, the way he would have wanted it to be. If someone would have been traveling above the spot where he sank, they would have seen the bright glow that was once a Dark Lord of Sith known as DMD, fade into the darkness that he embraced in his life and in his death.........*

Torment's ship touches down on the planet of Byss. He walks into the massive fortress that used to be the great Darth Mortis Diabolus' castle. It was now his. He walks through a series of mazes that no one would know and ends up in a secret compartment. He settles down onto the floor and works on binding his wounds. His ribs were broken and fractured, and the hole in his abdomen still hadn't healed. When he was done, he sat down and started into a meditation.

A single speck of black marred the otherwise perfect horizon over Byss' ocean. The speck grew, as an infection might as it festers, until it was quite able to be recognized as a lone TIE defender. Or it would have been recognized as such, if any had been there to see it. The Tie's engines cut and were replaced by repulsors as the pilot gently landed it on the brink of a white-rock cliff that overlooked the sea. The hatch then popped open, and the defender's occupant slid out, his boots crunching upon the planet's soil.

Khaos Anarch shivered slightly at the breeze brought in from the water, as he gazed out over the lapping green waves. Gazed out wondering if these were the same waves that Darth Mortis Diabolus, his former Master, may have seen before his death. He narrowed his eyes. He had felt his master's, no, former master's, death all the way back on Corucsant's sub-leveels and came as quickly as he could. He didn't know quite why... it wasn't as if there was anything to do, and even if there was, would he do it?

Khaos shook his head in self-digust. He had worked so hard to earn the right to call himself a sith knight, and now what? He was a Sith, and one of the few remaining if the rumors he heard was correct. He wasn't even a part of the real order. A single, lone sith whose only... aquaintance... had just perished. His fingers rose to toy with the amulet he had rightfully won n the tombs of Korriban, that he now wore around his neck. He was weak. No matter how much power he had, he could never weild it. He would always be the silent follower, the tool. And when the tool was no more of use, or if its use became irrelevant, he would be abandoned and left to rust. His hand balled into a fist aroundd the amulet and he felt the sharp metall edges digging into the flesh of his palm...

He was a tool. He had been carefully crafted to a purpose, and now that it had been completed, he was alone. He could never make anything of his life.

Another, more minute presence entered his consciousness. he focused on it and sensed a small beetle crawling across the pebble-strewn clifftop. He raised his boot, them stomped down upon it, shattering its small caarcass and grinding it into the dirt with hsi heel. He then bent down and grabbed aa thick handful of Byss's rich, dark soil. Focusing hard on the soil's composition, he reached out into the force....

...The soil now slipped from between his fingers as dust. Oh yes, he could destroy as much as he wanted, but no matter how much he destroyed, he could never create anything. And now he had been abanoned and had no purpose; left to wander as an emptey shell. Khaos felt an odd mix of rage and despair fill up inside of him. On impulse, he threw his head back and yelled. He yelled and yelled, driving air from his lungs, purging his soul, and stripping his throat raw.

When he was finally too hoarse to yell anymore, he sat back on his haunches and listened to the windd carry away the echoes. He was tired now, and his throat hurt, but all the anger in him was now replaced with empteyness. Khaos liked that. Emotions got in the way of logic, and without logic, he wouldn't get himself anywhere. He bit his lip. The most logical course of action would be to go to DMD's old fortress. There, he could get food, drink, and meditate. Then perhaps, he could form a plan. He sighed and clambered back into his TIE fighter, fired up the thrusters, and sent the small craft in the direction of the fortress....

In silent solitude in the dark cave, Darth Torment began to construct his lightsaber. From an invisible patch in his cloak, he retrieved four crystals that glistened in the darkness. The parts needed for his creation were all layed out in perfect formation.

Slowly, Torment began to abandon himself to the Dark Side. Before him, a spark suddenly burst into flame, the fire lighting the entire cave. He reached for a crystal and began to shape it into the synthetic crystals needed for his lightsaber. He remained near the blazing embers and concentrated on the metamorphosing gems, using the Force to purify and refine the lattice of the molecular matrices.

Torment sat by the raging fire, focusing his hatred to a fiery peak and expanding his control of the Force, using it to manipulate the molecular structures of the four crystals deep in the embers that rose above.

Not even the compressed walls of the cave could entirely contain the intense temperature required to form the crystals. Hour after hour passed, the searing heat washing over the Dark Lord. But his control had not wavered; the pain had no swayed his focus. Layer after countless layer of the original four crystals had been laid down, aligned, and perfected. Finally, he had sensed their readiness. He extinguished the fire and before him, was his four perfect crystals.

He began into the next stage of the development. Two, identical handles had been built, two crystals obscured deep into the curved cylinders. Both handles looked menacing, wicked. They were curved into a long arc, resembling an asterisk. The final stage of his construction awaited him, it was time to adjoin the two handles.

The power of the Dark Side flourished in Torment, coursing through every molecule of his body. He took a handle in each hand and with grace, slowly began to join the two edges. A spark of blinding light flashed before him, causing instant pain into his eyes. But the process was done, his new lightsaber was formed. The handle was curved, looking somewhat like an elongated U. Sith drawings and images of the dark arts were visible on the surface of the long handle.

The power of the Dark Side continued to rage on in the crystals of the interior of the long handle, not even a lightsaber itself can damage it. He took the lightsaber into his hands and activated his new weapon. The handle of the lightsaber suddenly straightened as twin beams of stark, beautiful crimson light speared into the darkness.

It is done.

Khaos Anarch landed his TIE defender outside in the central courtyard, then climbed out and inspected his surroundings. The courtyard was paved with stone and had walls lines with niches that held various peces of sculpture from across the galaxy. To his right was a door that led into the fortress. He walked over to it and was somewhat surprised to find it unlocked. Shrugging it off, he entered the fortress...
