Hair Style: Her hair is kept in a long single braid that starts from the bottom of her head and goes the length of her back until it stops right above her buttocks; tied in a white ribbon.

Eyes: Glowing White; they shine like the gems that illuminate the night sky.

Tattoo: Lux has an array of small silver tattoos scattered across her back and shoulders that glitter in the light as she moves.

Clothing or Armor:

 

Casual Clothing: As Echani and Thyrsians share a love of battle, all clothing is modified to serve a dual purpose. Her casual clothes second as a set of cloth armor, defying the natural heavy armor choice of her male counterparts.

Shirt – She wears a thick, but breathable, white silk tunic. The long sleeves hug her arms and end at each wrist. The bottom half of her tunic is divided to allow freedom of movement with very little risk to her lower body.

Belt – She wears a small, leather charcoal grey belt that accents her hair.

Pants – She wears simple, black silk leggings.

Armor Patches – She wears hardened dark silk bracers on her wrists. She also wears pads of hardened dark silk on her knees and thigh of her non-dominant leg.

Shoes – She wears a pair of dark grey, leather, combat boots that were woven with care and artistry. They aren’t specialized, but they provide plenty of mobility and look stylish.

Jewelry – She wears two simple silver earrings handed down to her by her mother.

 

Armor: Her armor is much the same as her casual clothing because both were composed with mobility in mind. But, her armor is made of a thicker leather instead of silk. And there are more black and greys than white.

Chest – Her leather tunic is longer and covers more of her legs, but it still parts in the center at five inches below her belly button.

Belt – She wears a leather combat belt in battle that carries a small number of pouches to carry things like ammo, grenades, shield generators or other things that could conceivably fit in a pouch.

Pants – Her cloth leggings are thicker and are covered with leather padding. They are spaced to provide decent mobility but are large enough to provide limited protection as well.

Shoes – She wears the same shoes.

Jewelry – In combat, she takes off her earrings.

 

Weapon:

One handed vibro-longsword (preferred weapon) – She owns and wields a basic vibro-longsword. The pommel has an average round shape; the grip is made of soft, dark brown leather, and the guard is a straight and simple piece of steel.

 

Taught by her mother and the others in her village, Lux learned to wield the longsword like it was an extension of her arm. Following the teachings that were given to her, she learned to use the sword as a companion in battle and work with it to execute deadly and graceful attacks. It was this realization that led to her pursuit of artistic methods and avenues regarding the longsword.

Despite the trouble plaguing her life, she would give nothing more than to show her art to anyone that would watch. But she was a novice and wanted to train to be the best there was.

 

[Moderate] Echani Martial Arts: Trained by Echani men and some Echani women, Lux learned the ways of Echani hand to hand fighting. She is not as skilled as Echani adepts, but she can hold her own.

The procedure was experimental, but the proposed purpose of the experiment was to ensure a safe and easy pregnancy. Her mother's family had a history of miscarriages and premature births, so she wanted the best for her baby and her husband agreed. The true purpose of the experiment, however, was to investigate how different genetic manipulations would react with fetuses while they were still being carried. This experiment led to Lux's abnormal glowing eyes, the streak in her hair, and an unusual mutation that allows her to see all of the electromagnetic spectrum; not all at the same time. But, with time and practice, she will be able to trigger the different lenses at will and shift from one part of the spectrum to the other. (Each transition takes a moment or two to do and then another moment to adjust. It takes time and can't really be used for duel related purposes unless previously set up or established.)

 

Backstory:

Lux’s parents were inseparable. They loved each other very much and shared everything with one another. But, when the time came for Lux’s birth, a tiny defect would be the tear that pulled them apart. Lux’s glowing white eyes and the silver streak running through her otherwise charcoal grey hair, gave her father the wrong impression. He thought that his sweetheart, the love of his life, had been disloyal to him. It was a harsh truth that he couldn’t accept. But as the years waned onward, his suspicions grew, and the two of them split apart.

 

Now facing the world alone, save her mother, Lux was hit with harsh truths of her own. Her mother was distraught. She couldn’t bear the thought of living without her other half but hardened herself when she saw the reality of her daughter’s situation. This child needed to live. And she needed to take care of her.

 

The next few years were a blurry mess of hard-won progress. But through fierce determination and a lot of patience, Lux rose from the ashes of a dead relationship and was prepared to rise to life’s mighty challenges.
