For his diminutive size the Sithspawn can be seen as powerful, though along the lines of the galactic standard he would be above-average. His power isn't generally displayed in great feats of strength such as the ability to lift excessive weight, though he is capable of doing so. Instead, he showcases his considerable strength in the ease that his claws can rip through flesh.

Fluid, graceful, yet savage. Utilizing his small stature to his advantage, Abalam exhibits the talents of an accomplished acrobat and free-runner. The speed in which he is capable of moving is part of the main reason that he earned his nickname.

A creature of habit. Abalam must feast upon the flesh of his victims in order to sustain himself. A meal once a week would be enough to keep him off of deaths door, though the hunger would still remain. He prefers eating a meal every other day so that he feels properly nourished and healthy.

His creator didn’t augment the Sithspawns intelligence during the process. He was made to take orders and follow them without question. Without having that guidance for quite sometime, Abalam has been in constant search of a new master to direct him. He has a basic understanding of the universe and of the things in which inhabit it.

Without the desire to learn how can one obtain wisdom? That is the case with Abalam. His singular focus upon the hunt for a new master and the need to survive have kept him from learning about the galaxy in which he inhabits. The potential is there, if his Master so chose to request it of him.

Abalam is capable of instilling fear into the hearts of men, women, and children everywhere. A being of few words, most of them are of subservient nature and generally spoken to his master alone. All others are generally met by a savage display of teeth, claws, and tongue.

A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil people can be made to work together only by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him.

 

Strengths and Weaknesses:

 

- Claws: His claws could be compared in strength to durasteel and he uses them as his natural weapons. Both his feet and hands are found to have these weapons instead of fingers. Though, they are fully functional and only hinder his ability to manipulate small items, so don't expect him to do anything mechanically.

 

- Keen Senses: As a being that was created to hunt and kill with ease, Abalam has a superior sense of smell, sight, and hearing than an average human. Though the downside of these enhanced senses are expected, flashes of light will temporarily blind him and loud noises will distort him. Overly powerful fragrances will bother him, whether pleasant or putrid.

 

- Master Dependent: Without someone to guide him, Abalam becomes a creature of necessity and will do what it takes to survive. Regardless of the situation, he will become the monster that he has been made out to be by the general public if he doesn't have direction or a purpose. Though, once a link with a Master is formed he is capable of holding the beast at bay. If that link were to be broken he would return to his animalistic nature.

 

- Flesh Dependent: Abalam's only form of sustenance is through the consumption of flesh, whether it be of an sentient or semi-sentient being it does not matter. He is not biased towards any certain species and is hoping to try them all at some point.

 

- Host Dependent: The common misconception that a symbiote is capable of transferring from host to host, this is Not the case regarding Abalam. If the boy whom he manipulates were to perish, then so would he. Though, the reverse cannot be said... if the symbiote were to die then the boy within would finally be freed from his cursed life.

 

Appearance:

 

Standing at only 5'1" and weighing in just under one-hundred pounds Abalam is not the most imposing figure in terms of size, though he more than makes up for his stature with his menacing appearance. With a form of Sith Alchemy living upon his flesh, Abalam is inhabited by a being that has manifested itself in the form that is the Nightmare. A mouthful of razor-sharp teeth line a mouth that seems to large for the skull that holds it. The coating sometimes coalescing into worm-like forms that emerge from his general frame, their purpose is believed to be related to his enhanced senses. Large claws have replaced his fingers and toes.

HISTORY

 

The Creation:

 

The tales have been whispered around campfires and bedrooms of children. The Boogeyman. A creature bred from your own nightmares that would serve as the thing that you feared the most. Abalam had been created in that image, to be said beast and invoke fear into the heart and mind of the masses. The symbiotic-like substance that covers the entirety of his being seems to be alive based upon the erratic movements that it often performs. This is the true entity, that is Nightmare and the reason behind the monstrosity that Abalam has become. The eleven year-old boy that has been held captive by the Sithspawn is an unknown factor, records state that the presence does relinquish some of its hold over it's host once under the control of a Master.
