Tiana Calthye
Right now my favorite word is Wicked. It's a blunt, straight forward description for the nasties, and that devious little smile on the villain's face as he knows he's won. But oh, what a range it can cover! The word can be both teasing and nasty, cruel and scheming... wicked smiles and wicked laughter... so many characters it can describe. It's a very useful evil word that just has a bit more oomph to it than evil. What's your current favorite word? Just when I thought it was over, I watched Tiana kick Almira in the head, effectively putting her out of her misery. I did not expect that. Jidai Geki
I like "studiedly". Also, "ersatz" is always a good one. http://www.themire.co.uk-- being a veracious and lurid account of the goings-on in the savage Mire and the sootblown alleys of Portstown's Rookery! King Kheldar vos Correlli
Defenestrate has been a favorite for ages and remains as such, though it still pales before the beauty of schadenfreude- it seems fitting that the Germans would have a word for what it represents. The monarch of madness has returned! Jidai Geki
"Defenestrate" is a word with a broad variety of applications. I try to get it in at least once per chapter. http://www.themire.co.uk-- being a veracious and lurid account of the goings-on in the savage Mire and the sootblown alleys of Portstown's Rookery!
