Anakin T Skywalker
Title: Obsession Confession Rating: G Rated for: complete innocence, just a silly little poem Critique level: [CRITIQUE ENCOURAGED] Obsession Confession I saw the movie and liked it, But I wanted a closer look; So I was quite delighted when I learnt there was a book. I read the book and loved it! I had never seen its equal So I was overjoyed when I found out there was a sequel. I read the sequel too ”“ yes, I devoured every word, But I was just ecstatic To discover yet a third! And once I'd read them all My devastation was dramatic: There were no more to read, But they had left me a fanatic! For once I start to like something Obsession is in store. I guess I shouldn't read books Or watch movies any more! Thanks, Tiana!
Dartha Athanth
Lol real cute! I like the rhythm and stuff, it has a real nice skippy feel to it. Heh I guess this is about you and star wars? Darsha Assant turned dark at 2734 posts.
Anakin T Skywalker
Actually, this is about my recently-acquired secondary fandom. I have finally managed to obsess over two different fandoms at once! Thanks, Tiana!
Dartha Athanth
Uh oh, is this twilight? Or LOTR? Darsha Assant turned dark at 2734 posts.
NavyGal
Well there are four books in the Twilight series.... but she only mentions three. Now if it was LotR then you can't not know there is a book when you watch the movie. But if it is one of those two I would say Twilight. I liked it though. It had a fun feel to it and I think that's because you got the rhythm of it so well. looking forward to tit One flash of my perfect chest and he'll be knocked out in a happytime daydream. Myth Hunter
That was a great poem. It flowed really well, the beat was consistent and the topic was engaging. It's the sort of poem a lot of us could prolly relate to, sitting there and loving our first taste of it only to find out there is more and wanting more and more. But I'm out of cheesecake. Anakin T Skywalker
No, it isn't Twilight. I'm just not a Twilight sort of gal. ANd it isn't LOTR. That was even before Star Wars - which I am also still obsessed with. Thanks for all the great comments, guys. It was just a little thing I came up with yesterday and wrote in about fifteen minutes, but I did want to express, as you said, Myth Hunter, that feeling of wanting more and more. I'm glad you relate to it, that is exactly what I what I hoped for. Thanks, Tiana!
Amidala Skywalker
That is really good. I loved the feel, the flow, and the rhyme scheme. Plus, I could totally relate to it. I'm exactly the same way when I find something new that I really like. Reading that totally just made my day better. SHE MEANS TO END US ALL!!! DOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!!11eleventyone! There goes Ami's reputation of being a peaceful, nice person.

King Kheldar vos Correlli
Short, but an easy, fun read with good flow. Props on it, though I cannot help but speculate what this newest obsession is (My best guesses are His Dark Materials or Eragon). The monarch of madness has returned! Anakin T Skywalker
Thanks, but what's "props"? That's a new one on me. Also, wrong guess again! Perhaps in a few weeks I will have a fic on it ready to release, and then your curiosities all may be satisfied. I can't remember ever hearing it mentioned on this board, but I'm hoping at least some of you will have heard of it. Thanks, Tiana!
NavyGal
"Props" is another way of saying congrats, nice work, etc. I'm seriously gonna go out and try work out what this series is. Tell me is it a new or old movie? looking forward to tit One flash of my perfect chest and he'll be knocked out in a happytime daydream.
Anakin T Skywalker
The movie? I believe it's about three years old, at least in America. Thanks, Tiana!
NavyGal
Ok the only other film from books I can think of in the past few years is Alex Rider: Stormbreaker. That said there are about 6 or 7 Alex Rider books now so I don't think it can be that. I am still looking though! looking forward to tit One flash of my perfect chest and he'll be knocked out in a happytime daydream.
Anakin T Skywalker
Yeah, keep looking. I believe you may be looking in the wrong genre. Thanks, Tiana!
Lord Ar-Pharazon
I enjoyed your poem. Please don't tell me that you're into that evil athiest jumble of stolen fiction and godless sexuality, The Golden Compass. Dartha Athanth
(My best guesses are His Dark Materials or Eragon). Also, wrong guess again! at LAP. The Golden Compass is His Dark Materials. Darsha Assant turned dark at 2734 posts.
NavyGal
What genre? At least give us that much. And the Alex Rider books aren't the same genre as Eragon and His Dark Materials. looking forward to tit One flash of my perfect chest and he'll be knocked out in a happytime daydream. Anakin T Skywalker
I enjoyed your poem. Please don't tell me that you're into that evil athiest jumble of stolen fiction and godless sexuality, The Golden Compass. Let's see, how many different ways can I say "GOD FORBID!!!!" No, it's not The Golden Compass. No, I'm not telling you what genre it is. Actually, it wouldn't be quite fair to, because the movie is sort of in a separate genre from the books. Which, as is usually the case, are infinitely better than the movie. Thanks, Tiana!
NavyGal
That's alrite... I red alot of books so chances are I have read the books... at least tell me the books genre.... really there are so many books that it still won't be easy. looking forward to tit One flash of my perfect chest and he'll be knocked out in a happytime daydream. Lord Ar-Pharazon
at LAP. The Golden Compass is His Dark Materials. Yeah, I know they're the same thing, but the one thing I didn't know was if it's stolen or sexual. I just made that up. Maybe ATS's location is a clue. I seem to recall it being an anime reference. Oh well... Time will tell... [Associate of the Illinois Mafia since November 2002.] Member of the Four Horsemen
King Kheldar vos Correlli
If the location's the clue, then I have to say then, excellent choice. I liked the movie the books were adapted from (having never read the books, but only gotten a few highlights on differences after watching the movie), but there were quite a few plot elements that were glossed over and outright missing (such as the cause of the war and the news of Prince Justin). I'll need to give the books a serious read now I think. The monarch of madness has returned!
