Ronin sniffed the air, watching Tekkan stroll into the room it was pretty obvious what 'business' was.

"Yeah, I love that business. Probably why you reek of Sex. I imagine I do too though..."

Ronin dug into his steak, curiously watching as Zara went to get something else. His tasted fine.

"Pull up a chair, have some food. Zara doesn't seem to want the steak, so she wouldn't be offended if you were to take it, I would think. If not you can order something else..."

Ronin grinned, scooting to the front of his chair.

"How've you been?"

"Business has its rewards, though identifiable odors can be a set back."

Hands still in his pockets, Tekkan casually walked over to the table the two were dining at and took a seat across from Ronin. Glancing at the steak his female companion wouldn't eat, the Hunter shrugged and slid her plate to the spot on the table in front of him.

"Well, if the lady doesn't mind..."

Grabbing another knife and fork, Raas took a bite of the steak and noted its exceptional taste as he took another bite. Quietly he thought to himself, wondering why she was repulsed by the taste of it and a few conclusions popped into his mind. Feintly he tried to attempt a connection with the Force around him, and as he took another bite the answer he was looking for found him.

"Don't know why Zara turned down the steak, there's nothing wrong with it. Though they say unusual repulsions to food are a side effect of pregnancy...."

Before the thought could linger any longer, he spoke again.

"As for me, the same stuff as always. Kill people. Get paid. Kill whoever doesn't pay me. Just things that refinforce a statement I've always lived by..."

He paused as he lit a cigarette and took a drag.

"If somebody tries to kill you...you try and kill 'em right back."

"Or a stomach virus..."

Ronin thought the idea was a bit drastic, and as such he dismissed it. It was hightly improbable by his estimation.

"It's been a while. I've gotten a sugar momma now, as you can see. She's sexy and she's got a lot of money. That's love."

Ronin pulled a cigarette out of his coat, following suit with Tekkan.

"There are some hits I've been dreaming about for a while... I think with you on my side I might be able to accomplish a number of them."

"No I don't mind, you can have it Tekkan,"

Zara answered him as she prepared something else for herself. She turned her nose up at several other options before settling for something that didn't turn her stomach. She looked up sharply as some of his words stood out among others. Pregnancy? No... hasn't happen before... I can't... Her mind went over the last time she had her "friends visit" I'm late! Oh no!

She fell silent, figuring that she would have a trip to the medical centre and speak to the doctor. Maybe it was just a false alarm, she wasn't that late with them... She took her plate with a peanut butter sandwich on it back to the table, sitting back with the men but staying quiet as thoughts ran through her mind.

Taking silent note of the internal crisis Zara was experiencing, Tekkan kept his thoughts focused on what Ronin was saying.

"It appears we've both lucked out. I met a Sith seductress who kicks lots of ass and knows the business well. Who knew scoundrels like us would ever settle down?"

Putting another bite in his mouth, Tekkan pondered the pirate's last phrase as he tried to imagination what kind of stunts he had in mind to pull. Realizing who he was talking to, a world of endless possibilities concerning uncivilized conduct flooded his mind.

"Guys like us are always on the same side, Ronin, it's just we never aspire for the same goal. That's beside the point, you've got my attention. So tell me, what kind of hits does a Pirate King dream about?"

Ronin looked at Zara out of the corner of his eye, noting that she was acting rather oddly. He took a long drag on his cigarette, then went back on subject.

"There are quite a few. Kheldar vos Correlli, owner of the Last Call and a number of other large things, has long since taken a wife. Being as he is possibly the richest man in the Galaxy, it's not hard to imagine what the jewelry he lavishes his spouse with is worse. I'd like to snake that from her, though that's pretty easy.

I've also taken note of a Kid I'd like to hit up. It's the son of a former Naboo Senator turned Sith Lord. His name is Trowa Barton, and not much is known about him. I'd like to see about what he has. Surely he has some kind of memento of the time he was a senator, if not heaps of cash.

Recently there was a heavy combat assassin droid created by some private investors. It's been roaming around on an autonomous mode, and I'd be quite interested to capture it, perhaps to reprogram it to our ends.

Lastly there are a number of Jedi who carry with them very great and expensive items. I'd like to hit them. The Jedi. Right at the temple. Storm in guns blazing and just sack the place!

There are a few other potential targets, but those are the main ones. So..."

Ronin paused, tapping the ash into a the gradually growing pile in glass tray in the middle of the table.

"You in?"

Zara sat quietly, not even listening to what Ronin was saying. If she had of been paying attention she would have said something about him leaving KvC alone, being that he was their silent partner with the Link, as it was her mind was focused elsewhere. She hardly touched her sandwich, not feeling hungry now. Excusing herself, she got up and cleaned her plate, mind still miles away. She didn't even notice the look that Ronin gave her she was so far away.

"I'm just going to duck out for a bit Ronin, you two can catch up while I'm out."

She left the penthouse, along with a puzzled lover and headed down to the shopping mall. Wandering around there for a while she found herself infront of the medical center. She was hesitant to enter, fearing what the outcome might be but wanting to know for sure that it was a false alarm... begging for it to be a false alarm. She had no idea how Ronin would feel about it if it were true. These thoughts plagued her as she spoke to the nurse and was shown in to see the Doctor, not having to wait long at all. Zara told him what she feared and was given some tests, waiting there for the results and finding out that it was positive. She was pregnant. The doctor congratulated her, thinking she was just in shock but that she had wanted to hear that she was.

Zara was in shock alright. How am I going to tell him? She walked back around the mall, getting used to the idea that she was going to become a mother. She didn't know how to feel. She wanted to laugh, she wanted to cry. Stopping infront of a shop she found herself looking at baby things, there were little sets of clothes in both pink and blue. What am I having? A boy or a girl? Oh how am I going to tell Ronin?

Resolving that she would not go through this alone, she headed back up to the penthouse, finding the men still talking several hours later. She was pale as a ghost as she looked from Ronin to Tekkan and back again.

"Tekkan was right."

Ronin's cigarette slowly went to the ashtray, the end tapping lightly against glass.

"Damnit. Tekkan, you jinxed us."

The Pirate bitterly threw a fork at Tekkan's head, shaking his head in disapproval. Inside he was highly distressed, but outwardly he was calm as cool as ever. As much as he was displeased to hear the news, having never been fond of children and being less fond of the idea of raising them, he didn't want to scare her. Ronin could easily tell by her disshoveled appearance and almost mournful expression that she was frightened, and he knew better than to make it worse.

"Hell. Come 'ere. Sit on my lap, let me take a look."

At first hesitant, Zara stepped slowly over towards Ronin, slipping onto his knee and burying her head against his shoulder, her arms going around his neck.

She didn't know what he was thinking, nor how Tekkan could have guessed so accurately that she had been expecting.

"What are we going to do?"

Ronin's arms went around her waist, one of his hands consolingly working up her back.

"Well, honestly, I don't think it's that hard a question..."

He looked at the ground, his mind filled a bitter disdain. His hand stealthily slipped into his coat pocket, which hung loosely off the side of his chair. His fingers clasped the brushed steel flask that he had come to know so well. A quick jerk of his thumb and the cap span off, hitting the floor. The cold metal reached his lips quickly, followed by the bite of it's contents as they traveled down Ronin's throat. He put the flask down on the floor, freeing his hand to rest on her stomach.

"I guess we'll just have a child..."

She had been half fearing that he might have told her to get rid of it, not that she would of, but hearing that she had his support brought a slight smile to her face. She was still fearful of what the future held for them but as long as she had Ronin's love she didn't care.

"You don't mind?"

She had also been thinking that he might have run a mile. She was also wondering how her brother would take the news. Her twin would be there for her no matter what she knew but he would probably scold her for not being careful.

Ronin's palm firmly pressed against her soft belly, his fingers sliding between the buttons on her shirt to touch on her soft flesh directly.

"Never look back. Never regret. What's in the past is in the past, and getting pissed about it is futile and pointless. Focus on the future. Focus on what's gotta be done. You've always got to look forward. Expect nine months of easy going. I don't want my kid loosing brain cells before he's born..."

Her eyes glancing down at where Ronin's had rested upon her abdomen. She was carrying their baby. She picked up on one word though, a soft smile appearing on her face

"But what if I'm carrying a girl instead of a boy?"

She might find out later on, but it was way to early to find out the sex of the child just yet a while.

"Jesse eh..."

Ronin scratched his chin.

"That's a good name, if your goal is raise the kid to be used to having the crap beat out of him."

He paused, backtracking suddenly.

"And Lena is too plain. I know like 40 Lenas. Not that it makes a differense, considering that it's a boy..."

"It was a nice name... " Or so I thought "And we're having a girl"

She kissed him on the lips lightly before thinking about some other names, Kayla... no... Kassie... no... I know...

"How about Kalyani? Kalyani Wartide?"

She was still convinced she was having a girl, no matter what Ronin might think.

"Sure, fine, Kalyani will work, though it's too bad it's going to be a boy. Sure is a waste of a good name though, considering."

Ronin looked at Tekkan out of the corner of his eye, finding it strange that he had seemed to pass out face first in his steak, flies now buzzing around his head.

Maybe it was poisoned.

Ronin shrugged and ignored his companion, figuring that he'd wake up eventually.

"And, since you don't care because you're so sure that it's going to be a girl, how about we call him Kane if it's a boy?"

Laughing again, Zara agreed,

"Ok if it's a boy he can be called Kane. But I still think that we're having a girl."

"So, I guess we should start on converting one of the bedrooms into a nursery and I'll have to start getting baby stuff"

The enormity of the situation started to hit her, they had alot of things to sort out, get organised. They had time to do it sure, but that time would fly.

Ronin pulled Zara in close to give her a little kiss, then almost regretfully watched as she got off his lap. A light smack on her behind followed her before she could get very far, Ronin meeting her surprised reaction with an innocent smile. He went back to prodding Tekkan, fearing that the fork he had thrown had incidentally lodged in Tekkans brain...

Taking Aeon's silence to mean she had no questions, kat nodded at her and stood, pushing yet another cigarette between his lips and lighting it. Sucking down a lungful of cigarette smoke, he strode out of the room, and headed up to his own room. From there, he called up the holo-receptionist.

He asked her to assign a team to find out exactly what ysalmiri were, where he could find some, and how he would go about getting them. He asked her to have them report to him when they had those answers, and he wanted them within 48 hours.

He also wanted another team to check out who was in control of artus at the moment, and how exactly he would go about mining cortosis commercially. He wanted that report back in 6 hours at most, and preferably within 4.

Having done that, he decided that he really aught to go and find his sister. He hadnt seen her in days, and wether or not that was due to his busy schedule at the moment, or her preoccupation with ronin.

Leaving his quarters, and heading to hers, he hit the buzzer outside, and waited to be let in.

Zara turned back to Ronin after his little butt slap, giving him a 'look' before heading to the door to answer the buzzer.

"Kat, I... er... was going to come see you."

She looked back at Ronin, wondering if she should mention the fact that she and Ronin were going to have a baby, then decided she'd tell Kat who the snoozing man was at the table, leaving it a while longer before saying it. Maybe Ronin would mention it.

"That's one of Ronin's friends, Tekkan. He seems to be abit out of it at the moment though"

Taking a drag off of his cigarette, he chuckled at the man passed out face down in his dinner, before giving his sister a brief hug, and moving into her apartment. Sitting down at the table, he offered ronin a smoke, before setting a holocam down on the table infront of him, and hitting a button on the side of it. Instantly a hologram of a white cube containing a bounty hunter named jak appeared.

Winking at ronin, he said

"I figured you might want to go and say hi to this kid. Consider it a little present."

Ronin pulled his own cigarette back out of the ashtray, realizing he had left it there, signaling to Kat that didn't need one. He couldn't help but laugh at his present as he tapped off the long spent end of his cigarette.

"It's a Jak-in-the-box. How fantastic. I'm going to take a ship battery and shock the hell out of him for fun, or maybe we can mutilate him and sell him as a sex slave to a Hutt. That'd be fun."

Ronin chuckled at the idea of a horrible disfigured Jak being molested by a Hutt while Ronin and Zara sat around in their underwear, contemplating what to do with all the money they had to spend in between all the sex they had to to have. That was the difference between the Pirate King and and the ass clown.

"It's rather convenient you showed up when you did. As soon as my comrade here woke up my plan was to come down and see you."

In the hanger of the Casino, a YT-2400 under the strange name Crazy Mynock landed smoothly.

With a small smile, Brina stepped out. To the outward observer, she appeared slightly different. Her red hair was longer and wilder, her skin tanned, her frame more slender, her face with an added touch of hardness to it. The month away had changed the waitress turned pilot/smuggler.

Checking to see if any comms had arrived for her, she pulled one up from the Jedi she had met at the Last Call, informing her of a business proposition. She would have to get back to him about it. The first thing she wanted to do was to see the man who, as she had realized fully over the past month, she was in love with.

Not knowing where he was, she tried his quarters first. Having no luck, she made her way to Zara's. The door was unlocked, and Brina could hear several voices inside. Ronin must be here... she thought.

Hitting the buzzer, she waited to be let in.

A single small ship exits hyperspace alone. It appears as the Night of Vengeance on transponder signals, and its owner, a Mandalorian bounty hunter by the name of ShadowFett, asks permission to land. Upon receiving clearance, he chooses a docking bay and sets the modified YT-2000 down.

Fett emerged from the ship's hold and entered the space station's interior. He appeared perfectly calm, his black armor glistening in the lights mounted on the ceiling. His mask did not betray even a hint of the undeniable though restricted excitement he was feeling. The thrill of battle was on hand, but he forced himself to be calm.

In his hand was a small box, about the size of a box one would keep a blaster pistol in, though with more depth. The warrior carried the box with him, apparently intending to keep it with him at all times. He walked straight past the desk where one could turn in valuables to retrieve them afterwards to reinforce that appearance.

There were security systems everywhere, he noted. These were mainly to keep fights from breaking out and cheating from occuring, but there were other uses as well. Some of those uses were not intended upon the construction of such devices, but they would serve them just as well.

Noting a service vent next to a bench, apparently for MSE-9 droids to make their way around the station, Fett sat down at the bench. He opened the box and activated the small droid inside. "This is my helmet comlink number," he said, naming a string of digits. He was sure to speak too quietly for anyone else to hear without looking like he was trying. "We'll need to constantly keep a channel open."

ShadowFett gestured at the vent. "Follow this vent until you find a power outlet, Flirt, then jack in. Notify me when you're ready," he finished.

"Yes, sir, right away, sir," Flirt answered peppily.

Fett was rather amused at the positronic processor's personality and how it clashed with his own, but its abilities more than made up for the irritating display. It would do its job well and make this mission possible, and he was satisfied with that.

Standing up to cover Flirt's actions from camera view, Fett listened as Flirt slipped into the vent on repulsorlifts and silently floated down the square tunnel and around bends. It knew what it was doing, that was for sure. No one would be able to find it.

The Mandalorian started walking lazily away, still holding his box, in the general direction of the casino. When he got there, he put the box down and pretended to be occupied with some game of chance, which he really had a huge disgust for. It was the most useless waste of money to gamble, and he wouldn't even consider it for a moment. At least, not gambling credits.

"I'm in," came Flirt's feminine voice through Fett's comm. It was quiet enough that none outside the helmet could hear it--just right.

"Alright, immediately hack in and shut down all other computer access in the whole station," the Mandalorian ordered.

"Done," came the reply a fraction of a second after Fett finished talking.

"Deactivate all security devices and security droids," he continued, still too quiet for any passerbys to overhear. "Begin tracking me to keep commands at a minimum. I'll simply indicate a door or task that needs opening or completing, and you do it as I require it."

"As you wish, sir," Flirt acknowledged.

"Send me a map of the station," Fett added. Soon a comprehensive layout was uploaded onto one of his scanners. It was perfect, labeling every room, power socket, guard station, and the whole nine yards.

But now it was time to move. ShadowFett then started walking towards the center of the station, where the credits would be, undoubtedly guarded by some thick metal and gravity-sealed doors as defense. None of that would matter as long as Flirt was functional.

OOC: Jeez, give a dude break. I'm don't post for one day and suddenly I'm narcleptic and impaled with a fork.

As a utensil was hurled at his forehead, the Hunter responded with a simple roll of his neck to avoid a near fatal collision. With a slight smirk, he looked at the father to be as he gathered himself and talked to the soon to be mother of his child.

"For the record, you have to believe in luck to be jinxed and in this life I've found there's no such thing as luck. And secondly, you can count me."

Leaning back in his chair, the bounty hunter propped his feet up on the table.

The state of the art security system triggered the silent alarm. Someone was tampering. Automatically the 'back up' security systems kicked in, the main section that was being tampered with switched to another mode, making the tamperer think they had shut it down, when really it was just biding it's time, waiting for the culprit to get a false sense of security.

Up in the penthouse, another alarm triggered, the monitors focusing in on both the jacking in and the shady mandalorian character that had opened one of the vents. Microphones next to the vent had picked up his comments to the droid and these were recorded. The frequency being fed into the communication system so that any messages would be monitored.

Zara had let Brina in, welcoming her warmly just before the alarm had been triggered, as it happened though she observed the monitors along with the others.

They all stood there observing the monitors, watching for the Mandalorian to walk straight into the middle of a trap.

Flirt contacted ShadowFett immediately. "Sir, another odd alternate security system has kicked in, and our communications are being monitored. It seems that an alarm system is activating preprogrammed responses," the processor stated.

Fett almost chuckled to himself. This droid was performing far beyond what he had expected. He would be able to trust it enough to do things far beyond what he had originally expected. Flirt would be more useful than he had thought. This would almost be simple.

"Disable the alarm system and other triggers, all monitoring systems, and completely erase the security system's memory except for the door locking system. I don't want to leave a trail," the Mandalorian ordered. It took only seconds before he got an affirmative from Flirt.

Without another word, the supercommando moved with increased speed towards the center of the station. He imagined that he was suspected, but that was the way he preferred it to be. "Flirt," he said. "Decrease the oxygen content of the atmosphere. I want everyone asleep in minutes."

Not a sign of the change was apparent, and no computers had access to detect the change. No alarms or other triggers were active to make adjustments, and already some beings were feeling the effects. Drowziness began to touch some more dependant beings, though some were admittantly uneffected. Fett would deal with them when the time came.

ShadowFett began drawing near to the center of the station and the credits inside the massive and well-protected vault, as of yet unchecked by security, which really had no way of knowing that he was here, but only that something was amiss and they were getting awfully tired....

((OCC: Read Zara's post, you were cut off. Not to mention the fact that anyone could just walk in and take over with a droid, no matter how complex, is completely absurd.))

Flirts requests, made of a terminal that had since been disconnected from the main hub, were denied, and the oxygen level stayed at full. Instead, channel of electricity pumped a 100,000 volts of pain in through the terminal, annihilating the droid instantly, melting it's droid processor and ensuring that it'd never work again. The doors leading to the main vault closed around Shadowfett as he attempted to walk through, pinning him in between two industrial grade durasteel blast doors and slowly cracking his armor as the door attempted to force itself fully closed. Ronin laughed out loud, amused as hell at the bounty hunter's plight.

"Dumbass."

Ronin stood, grabbing his guns and throwing on his coat.

"This should only take a minute babe. He doesn't know what he's dealing with. Coming, Tekkan? Kat?"
