(Sorry I didn't post sooner. RL stuff again)

Zara had been about to say that she would join him to 'celebrate' when he apologised, saying he had to go. With both men gone, she called in the maintenance staff to replace the table in the meeting room. It wouldn't be good to have another meeting with a damaged table. With that organised, she headed back towards her office.

--

The twins walked along the corridor with Rose, chatting about the movie they'd just seen. When they saw the man approach them, their eyes widened at his appearance. They shared a look between themselves that showed they were both thinking the same thing... He looks like Dad when he was younger.

Do behave your mother now.

The twins stared after the pair walking away from them, mostly at the man that looked so like their father. Before they had gone too far, both twins called out in chorus, "Bye Rose!"

Deciding that they had to talk to their mother, both broke into a run, heading towards her office. They both had a fair idea that she would be there. They arrived out of breath, pushing the outer door open, rushing past the secretary and into the inner office, "Mum, Mum, you'll never guess who we saw..."

Seeing the image implanted on the surface of her children's minds, Zara nodded. "Yes, that was Julio Furion and he does look like you're father for a good reason. You are related to him. I won't go into details on that now."

Pausing, Zara brought her hand up to rub her forehead, still feeling the emotional storm the memories caused. Catching another thought from her twins that in their excitement they didn't block, Zara shook her head. "I thought I told you not to see that movie. I didn't want you seeing the violence your father's so good at."

She sank back into her chair, her twins coming around to embrace her, "We're sorry Mum, but we had to see it..."

Idejjen, deeply relieved that the proceedings had gone well, pocketed the tape of the recording and made his way to Zara's office. He felt she would have no problem recognizing him now because he had returned to his original form...

Of course the rather weird looks resumed among the common patrons of the Golden Link Casino, but in a way idejjen missed them. He praised the ysalamari in his pocket and actually was very pleased as he mad his way through the corridors and into Zara's office noticing her kids hugging her...

"Should I come back at a better time?" Idejjen noted rather politely poking his head through the door...

After a complicated montage of scanning hotel visitor logs, docking data, tapped security vids, and a close encounter of the drunken Rodian variety, Shadrach pieced together the name and a suitable physical description of Silas Onnd. He made his way to the Casino to begin the search.

Second time's a charm.

Spotting the mark at Sabacc tables, he approached casually, waiting for the hand to end before introducing himself.

"Silas Onnd, I presume? I'm Shadrach Fenri, legal consult to our mutual friend, Mr. Furion."

He extended his hand Silas, a little past halfway between them.

"I've been asked to direct you to Mr. Furion --"

Shadrach glanced at his chrono.

"-- within the next hour."

Zara looked up at Idejjen as he entered her office, "You're fine. These pair know their in trouble so they're grovelling..."

"Awww Mum..." The twins where in time with their words again, both still trying to get round her for having done what they weren't supposed to do.

Zara squeezed her arms around her twins then released them, giving her attention back to her Security Officer. "At least procedings ended up alright. We're still in business on Roon. And I see you're back to normal once more."

She grinned up at him, indicating his original form.

"I see, well if you need me for any of that just let me know, meanwhile I am only here to be ready for anything you may want me to do... Oh! and to give you this tape"

Idejjen rummaged around his jacket for the tape labeled "Zara's Roon business deal with Julio Furion" and then placed it on the table in front of her...

"everything is on there, down to the last cratering of office tables..." Idejjen kinda winced at that... Remembering the near death experience he had at the Black Sun Citadel... and then shivers rand down his spine...

Silas nodded at the man, pushing his all of his chips in on the current round. "All in," he said, now turning to the man. "You presumed correct. As soon as this hand is finished I'll leave, but I want my money," he said smiling to the man.

As the cards were turned his smile grew larger. Pure Sabacc. The dealer put his winnings on a card and handed it to him. He nodded in return and stood from the table. "Let's go."

With her Security Officer handing her the tape of the meeting, the twins gave her one last squeeze before moving away from her towards the door, taking the opportunity to escape while they could.. both knowing that Zara would have words with them at a later time...

"Thankyou Idejjen"

Zara answered him with a smile as he handed over the tape of the meeting. She would review it some more at a later time, going over it both visually and in her mind with all that had happened. She didn't glean a great deal from Julio from the probe she "returned fire" with, though she did glean his relationship to Ronin. That surprised her. Ronin had never told her that he had other children. If he had Julio, who else was out there? She hadn't told the twins that he was their half brother either. She'd keep that unspoken for now.

The grimace on Idejjen's face had her observe him closer. "What's the matter?"

Shadrach smiled as Silas seized his winnings.

"Excellent."

Shadrach walked leisurely as he queued up the comm on his neural link, and sent a brief text message to Julio Furion.

I believe I've found the man in question. Silas Onnd. Bit of a card shark; but most of the people worth meeting around here seem to be. If this is indeed the man to whom you were referring, I will bring him to you at your convenience. If not, I can dispose of him however you see fit.

"Well, Mr. Onnd, was it business or pleasure that brought you to the Link?"

Shadrach made casual conversation as he waited for a reply, winding his way slowly toward the hangar.

--Encrypted Comm to Shadrach Fenri--

Excellent. I'm rather busy at the moment, so he'll have to meet me once my business is concluded. In the mean time, there's another matter I'd like you to address.

Within the Jedi archives in their Gala temple lies a very old tome. It's distinct from other ancient scripts from the characters on the outside, close to the forgotten Rakata alphabet. The letters will be in a dark metallic blue while the cover itself made of a well oiled leather.

The book has been forgotten for centuries, even by the Jedi Librarians. I fear the good historians died at the rise of the empire. None the less, I desire that book. Bring it to me and I'll be most impressed, you're reward more than substantial.

Tell Mr. Ond that if he wishes to be in my employ he will help you perform this task.

Comm me when you've gotten the book, and not a moment sooner.

--End Comm--

"Well, this is an interesting twist, Mr. Onnd. I've just received a communique from Mr. Furion: he'd like us to swing by the library and pick up a few books... Have you ever been to the archives at Gala temple?"

Shadrach increased his pace toward the hangar. By their own code of conduct, the Jedi had an open door policy with this sort of thing, but he vaguely recalled that all data must be copied. Taking a hard copy on loan, if that was even possible, would presumably require vast amounts of paperwork, and if his prior meeting was any indication, Furion preferred to minimize the attention and paper trail of all his activities.

"When we complete this task, he has offered you further employment, to be discussed upon delivery."

When Idejjen winced apparently Zara has seen. He figured he would tell her, but at the same time he wondered how she had forgotten...

"That man reminded me an awful lot of Ronin, and while his name was being thrown around I couldn't help but envision my near death experience at the Black Sun Citadel... Not directly at the hands of Ronin, but at the hands of one of his cronies. Yet, he didn't really seem to be stopping him at all so as far as I'm concerned he was involved..."

Idejjen then subtly stepped off of his soap box, and was rather glad to get that off his chest. Not that it had been nagging him, but it was definitely good to share it with someone...

"That's why I winced, and your welcome"

"Indeed. My ship is the Fenris I. Comm me from parking orbit."

Shadrach offered a cordial nod and strolled off for his ship.

"How's the ship, R8?"

The ship resumed its familiar hum as its engines warmed up. The docking clamps released with a tired groan, and the Fenris I drifted lazily out of the hangar before blasting its way toward the Gala hyperspace route.

A note to Zara Nargal, encoded in the docking permissions file:

Dear Ms. Nargal,

I wanted to compliment you on your accommodations, and thank you for a wonderful time. I hope my next visit proves less taxing for you. Take care of yourself in the meantime, and keep an eye on that gorilla of yours.

Ta-ta,

Shadrach Fenri

((Sorry, life got busy again))

Zara mentally berated herself for not recalling what had happened to him previously. With so much going on it wasn't surprising she'd had a mental blank. "Yes he did look like Ronin - a younger version of him. There's a reason for that but I won't go into it just yet."

It was then that Zara's secretary knocked on the door, poking her head inside. "There's a message for you from Sadrach Fenri. I'll send it through to your main console."

"Thank you." Zara answered her secretary, moving back around to see her monitor. She read the message, not sure what to make of it, whether it was a veiled insult towards Idejjen or what it was. She'd keep her eye on that man.

Idejjen was glad that she had at least remembered once he had mentioned it, and realized that it actually wasn't really that big a deal...

Then when Shadrach's message came she saw her face and then hobbled over to read it...

Afterwards snorting under his breath and moving back to where he previously stood...

"keep an eye on that gorilla of yours... pff"

Idejjen wasn't completely pissed off, but Shadrach was actually the more difficult of the two, surprisingly...

Idejjen did keep loitering however, because he was there to receive orders from Zara; and if there were no orders from Zara, he was going to patrol the complex...

"He has a way with words doesn't he", Zara said after Idejjen's comment.

She sat back in her chair, bringing her hands together, elbows resting on the desk in front of her. "We need to expand our Organisation. The transport business has been quiet lately, as has the repair business. Any ideas?"

Zara would welcome any ideas to get the Link Organisation to come out on top.

((I'm sorry it took me so long to post))

Idejjen having seen a floor plan for the Casino really didn't notice any room for improvements. Idejjen noticed that the Casino covered almost all aspects of entertainment. He really couldn't even understand why the transportation had slowed down, but he had an idea...

"I can't really think of anything Zara, honestly the Link has everything that I would want in an entertaining establishment"

Idejjen stroked his chin in contemplation...

"maybe small courts set-up for sports? but I think you already have those... Um, do you have any rooms that can generate any environment in the galaxy?"

Idejjen said this with a smile across his face for he always thought it would be interesting to own a room like that...

"Yes you're right there. We do have just about everything. Just keep an eye on the security and make sure there's no trouble or anything that can go wrong."

Zara thought about his other comments, "Yes, we have enviromental areas that cater for all species." Grinning at him she added with humour in her voice, "Enough to satisfy each of your various appearances..."

Idejjen couldn't help but laugh at that...

"Heh, convenient that... and yes, I will make sure everything remains safe. By the way what ever happened to the head of securi... eh we can save that till later." Idejjen was truly curious, but he felt that he should go on a run through the casino checking the security...

"till later Zara, I will be right back..." With that line Idejjen left the room after checking that Zara's security was secure enough to last through anything while he was on his rounds...

Idejjen walked down the hall to the offices in the opposite direction from Zara's and checked security as he went. Idejjen made sure everything was in tip top shape for even the slightest threat of danger... Like a drunkard looking to find some alcohol money...

=-- Ida --=

Ida had just gotten off the transport and was now gawking at the Golden Link... She couldn't remember the last time she was here, but she was still impressed at the grandeur. It truly was extremely large...

How am I going to find idejjen in here?

Not letting that discourage her, she made her way into the lobby and checked into a room on board, because she knew that she might just be there for a while...

Then, thoroughly exhausted from stress and just general activity, she made her way to her room in order to catch a decent sized nap before she started searching for Idejjen...

Zara gave a slight wave towards Idejjen as he left her office. After a few moments of finalising paperwork, she rose from her chair and headed into her secretary's outer office. "I'll be busy for a time with family affairs. If you need anything done send me a message, otherwise I'll be back when I'm back."

Zara headed out of the office and towards the apartment to deal with some family matter that had arose.

((OOC: In other words, I won't be available much over the next several weeks/month or so due to a family matter. Still not sure when Dad will be out of hospital and will be to and fro until he is home, then busy with him once he does get home.))

Idejjen was making his way down the hall, when he bumped another patron of the Casino. Bumped as in the patron is the one that took the fall while Idejjen stood there rather stoic.

"Oh, I am so sorry, I should have watched my surroundings"

"Its ok"

However, Idejjen did reach down and try to help the woman gather her things, and on the way up gazed at her rather intently...

There seems to be something... Oh my gosh! Ida? could it be? I thought she'd died... I am extremely confused now. Maybe I should ask her instead of staring at her gawking...

Yet what Idejjen had not noticed is that the woman was doing the same to him. So, in one gradual movement - as if they had both read each other's minds - they dropped their things and embraced one another...

"Oh, Idejjen" Ida said with a smile on her face

This had to be Ida, why else would she hug a random person?

"Ida, its been a long time... I thought you died, what happened? Did the blaster shot not get you?"

=-- Ida --=

While Ida was walking down the hall she wasn't really watching where she was going, not a particular thing even the stupidest of people should do... and she bumped into someone...

"Oh, I am so sorry, I should have watched my surroundings" Meanwhile she was busy trying to gather her things that had scattered all over the floor...

"Its ok"

Then, as she was just about to thank the man for helping her, she noticed her creation staring right back at her in what appeared to be a Golden Link security uniform... Interesting she thought, he has been busy. simultaneously as her stuff hit the floor she was embracing him rather tightly...

"Oh, Idejjen" she said with a smile in her face...

"Ida, its been a long time... I thought you died, what happened? Did the blaster shot not get you?"

She knew he had questions and very valid ones at that, but she really didn't want to be in this spot right this second and signaled Idejjen as such..

=-- Idejjen --=

"I see, ok"

Seeing as how Ida wanted to get away from right here Idejjen hefted all of Ida's things onto his back and he started back up on his runs with Ida tracing his heels...

"I have to do a few circuits around the area to make sure nothing bad is going down and then we can go ahead and drop you off in your room, unless you want to come to mine..."

=-- Ida --=

"Thats fine with me" Ida replied back, " I was a little worried about the payment of that room anyway, I am kinda low on cash... now as to the questions you asked earlier..."

Arriving at the Golden Link after an extended absence, Lord Ganelon Kaosheart, Lord of House Bozel, one of the blood of Seneferia, docks his ship, smoothing out the threads on his blue and purple overcoat, giving a sigh of disgust that almost too closely matched his skin color. His orange eyes narrow, reminding himself to scold his tailors for this error when he made it back home.

Two things drew him back to the site of what he once considered his greatest coup, a multi-billion dollar robbery orchestrated alongside Black Sun. Of course, paying that debt involved certain obligations once he was left no where to turn after alienating the rest of the nobility on his homeworld. Months of managing the Hutts shipyards at Nar Shaada and cannily dealing with their ilk hardened the soft nobleman and provided a means of both repaying his debt and dealing with the last of those who opposed him. Besides, this tournament offered some entertainment he could not afford to pass up.

Entering the casino with a lordly air, he introduces himself to one of the staffers. "Tell Miss Nargal that Lord Ganelon has entered the tournament and is here to pay off his debt."

Idejjen was rather disappointed at the lack of participants in the tournament and he sought to extend the date to hopefully include a few more people, but it was when he was making the arrangements that he heard a familiar name came up...

"Ganelon! I haven't seen him in well... quite a while" Idejjen said noticing his name being the only one on the list...

"Who's Ganelon?" Ida asked, still kind of caught up in the moment..

"Ganelon is a man that was previously caught up in the Link authorities, but otherwise he is a pretty nice guy..." Idejjen said recalling their previous encounter. That was back when Durose was still himself though, and now Durose seemed as if he wasn't really around... at all...

A droid approaches Idejjen with a message, because Idejjen had told the staff to let him know if anyone asks for Zara. Zara was extremely busy and couldn't spare time away from it. She had put him in charge so he directed the messages to him until she was done...

Anyway, the droid approached him and let him knew that Ganelon was actually expecting Zara to contact him... Idejjen was sorry to disappoint him, but he figured Ganelon merited a response so he decided to go in Zara's stead. Instead of asking the droid to tell Ganelon Zara was busy...

It took him a little, but soon Ida and Idejjen were on there way to meet with Ganelon and talk with him about things...

Idejjen figured he would find a date extension a little later...

A Holonet message arrived for the proprietors of the Casino.

Master Nargal,

Admiral Vandro speaking. I beg your pardon for our tardiness, for recent events in the Rim made it impossible for us to spare crew to take command of the ships we requested from your enterprise. We now require them for another major project, one of the scale of Mon Calamari. Payment shall immediately be forwarded upon the arrival of the Sanare and Organa at your shipyards.

I trust that you, your children, and your endeavors are well.

Your servant,

Admiral Niklas Vandro

Zara listens to the received message, her fingers flying over a keyboard in front of her to redirect instructions with regards to the comm. A message is sent in turn to the shipyards with regards to the completed order that it would be picked up soon. She then sent a comm to Admiral Niklas Vandro in response.

====

Admiral Vandro.

Your order was completed a while ago and is just waiting for you to pick up at your leisure.

I hope all is going well for the Foundation. All is going well here. Until next time.

Zara Nargal.

====

Zara then checked up on Idejjen's progress with regards to the tournament. She figured it would be good for him to "spread his wings" into other areas and encouraged him in this endeavor. He was doing well with it. Noticing the message left for her by Ganelon Zara grinned. It would be interesting to see how he would 'pay off his debt.'

Pulling up a seat at the bar, Ganelon orders a drink and using his past creditentials as a Link employee, instructs the bar tending droid to put it on Zara's tab. It was a bit impudent, but that never stopped the Lord of Seneferia before.

He pulls a guard aside, tired of waiting for his escorts.

"Any word on when the card tournament is due to start?" he asks briskly, taking a sip of his drink. Informed he was the only player of note to show up so far, the blue skinned Lord of Seneferia rolls his eyes. Typical. "Well," he concludes, taking another sip, "pass this to Zara. She'll be happy to have it and know our debt is paid back in full." Chuckling, he hands the guard a datapad and finishes his drink.

***

A short time later, the guard delivers the datapad to Zara, which reads as follows:

The following is deeded to the Link as a means of paying off the accumulated debt from the casino robbery a few cycles back. First, is a 40% share in Con Vez Shipyards over Nar Shaddaa. The second is a deed to a single planet solar system, with the peoples, lands, and the like being property of the Link: namely my homeworld of Seneferia. The ruling council, albiet at gunpoint, decided to make this offer, sealing the system to your control. Enjoy it in good health, though for effective management,of your new holdings I would have someone familiar with the workings of the system running it for you.
