The power shown her was orgasmic. Alora took a step closer letting her hand rest upon Draken's shoulder so as to let the bond strengthen more through touch. She closed her eyes for a moment before letting them open to meet with the ebony orbs Draken's had become.

"Amazing" she murmured softly, the energies surged around the pair of Sith. "Imagine what can be done with it..."

Alora inclined her head towards Draken. As he began, she took one step back from him, observing how he read the ebbs and flows of the power surrounding them.

As he began the she closed the distance between them once more, letting her hand rest upon his, allowing their blood to mingle as she in turn mirrored Draken's actions with first the Eastern and then Southern walls.

(OOC: sorry this is such a poor post, I'm pressed for time as I'm heading off for a week in the morning - Draken has permission to post Alora's actions in my absence - Chris)

Draken raised his hand higher, forcing the crystal higher till it reached a height of thirty feet. He removed his left hand from the staff and lifted both of his hands into the air, the amount of concentrated power in the room clearly visible to the naked eye. He lifted his hands still higher, the veins in his neck bulging from the amount of pressure he was under as he began to craft the ceiling and roof of the temple. Along the ceiling of the cavern, the crystal began to change color and form. It went from black crystal streaked through with blood to blood color crystal streaked through with onyx lightning.

As the four sides of the peak met at the center of the cavern ceiling, Draken removed four shards of crystal from his cloak. Two of the shards seemed to be dripping blood, the other two in his right hand were darker then the void itself. He hurled one of the blood crystals into the northeastern corner of the temple then unleashed a volley of power from the True Force into the crystal causing it to expand and break through the crust of the planet and reach up to the surface where only the very tip of the spire could be seen. Next he turned to the southeast and began the same process again, though with a void crystal this time rather then a blood crystal.

With two of the spires completed, Draken took a moment to regain his breath and to draw to himself fresh power from the seemingly endless well of power that radiated from the beneath the planet's surface but within the well he could feel a presence that resented the power being drawn from the planet. A presence that would challenge him soon he could feel. For the moment however he ignored the being as it drew closer so that he could finish the temple. Taking the third shard he began to form the southwest spire so that it like the previous two broke the surface before he began to craft the final of the smaller spires.

With the final of the outlying spires completed, Draken raised both of his hands once more. The difference between what he had done before and what he was doing now was not that he was creating the crystal to build the temple, this time he was combining crystal from each of the spires to form a fifth larger spire that would reign over the four spires and be the center point of the Temple. Slowly the spire began to take shape as it rose from the roof and through the crust of the planet till it reached the surface of the planet to a height above the four spires that surrounded it. With the major work of the temple completed, Draken slumped down to one knee leaned against the wall as he reached into his cloak and removed a small flask. Within the flask was the wine of the black rose but a special type of wine to which an adrenaline substance had been added.

He drank several times from the flask then waited a brief time till the adrenaline sent a surge of energy through his body, now would begin the detailed work throughout the temple. Starting at the north wall and then to the rest of the walls, he began to etch and carve glyphs into the wall. Many of these glyphs that were being carved into the walls had been used by ancient Krath and Sith Lords and hadn't been seen in well over a thousand years. Still other glyphs were some of those that had been etched into the star maps for the Star Forge.

Each of these glyphs would respond to no one but a Krath. Each of the four walls was marked with a set of glyphs that would perfectly offset and would reinforce the glyphs in the other walls. With the glyphs finished, Draken stepped from the temple and he could feel the power that was radiating from the temple and from that power he knew that the temple was complete. Not to mention that this was perhaps his greatest work to date with the exception of his two holocrons.

Alora had never felt so alive as she did right then with all the power surging through her. She had completed her part of the temple and now acted as a conduit to funnel more power through to Draken through their bond, seeing as she wasn't a Krath. The creation of the temple was so inspiring that as each part of this masterpiece took shape it was simply breathtaking.

As Draken finished the spires and began on the glyphs she observed silently, letting him focus fully on what he was doing. She was there if he needed to draw more power from her. As he moved around from one place to another, she followed...

Several days after departure, the cargo ship landed on Ziost near the site of the excavations. Around the excavations, on every side a smaller hole had been dug, large enough to fit a planetary weapon. A short time after the cargo ship had arrived it was unloaded with each of the four excavations having a pile of parts around it and each pile was separated into two smaller distinct sections, one section was clearly a shield generator, the other was some form of weapon. Each of the weapon parts had been designed specifically to Draken's request and would serve a valuable purpose.

Leaving the underground temple, He quickly looked over the parts that had been purchased then went to his ship and removed a datapad from the ship and beckoned to several Darkwatch technicians to join him. Once they had joined him he began to outline the spec's for the weapon and also where the shield generators would be placed. The tech's were puzzled for a few moments then began to understand what he had planned and they quickly copied the schematics and began to assembel what needed to be assembled before the weaposn would need to be lowered into location.

With everything completed inside for the moment, Alora followed Draken back outside into the sunlight. Instead of going with him to see the technicians, she began a circuit of the outside of the temple. The Sith Mistress wanted to learn everything regarding the terrain surrounding the temple including all the flora and fauna.

She stretched out with the Force, not attempting anything other than to let herself feel what was around her...

In the back of his mind, Draken could feel the entity fast approaching and after making sure that the technicians had everything well in hand before he walked to the center of the excavations and ordered everyone to leave. When everyone had left, he drove the spear point of his staff deep into the solid rock, the ground shaking and thunder clouds began to roll till the sky around the excavations was blackened by the clouds.

As she continued exploring the surrounds of the new temple, the Sith Mistress began to feel an urgency to return to the excavations rim. Through her bond with Draken, she could tell he was preparing for something”¦ a something that was rapidly closing in. Glancing up towards the sky, Alora noticed the storm clouds gathering, swirling around in an unnatural way. She folded her arms around her body, rubbing them to warm up from the sudden drop in temperature, her breath now quite visible as she breathed.

Her path now took her towards a group of Darkwatch soldiers that were on the edge of the excavation site. Reaching them she stepped right to the edge of the rim and looked down to see her lover at the bottom of the site, right in the center. He was dressed in his full sith robes though his head remained bare. The sky was darkening as the storm clouds raged above them though she was still able to see Draken's face due to the light emitted from the orb of his staff.

With the wind picking up around them her crimson and black robes whipped around her body. Alora gathered the Force, letting it swirl around her as she prepared herself for whatever was coming.

As Draken stood in the center of the pit, a loud thumping noise could be heard steadily growing louder as a misshapen figure could be seen approaching. Several moments later, as it grew closer, the true size of the entity could be seen. The entity was more then five times the size of Draken who was quite tall himself, in fact the entity's fists (if they could be called such) were nearly of the same height as Draken was. Looking the entity up and down, Draken swallowed briefly before cracking his neck audibly twice in the silence that had swept over the planet. He placed his right hand on his staff and pulled it from the rock it had been placed in. Then the entity roared and the shockwave from its roar knocking Draken back along with knocking many of the Darkwatch soldiers down along the rim of the pit. He stepped back for a second then lashed out in retaliation, his strike focused and precise as he struck at a joint. Seconds later, Draken found out just how fast the entity was as it took a swing at him.

Barely getting a force shield up, the entity's fist slammed into his shield and hurled Draken halfway across the pit and slamming him into a pile of rocks. His shield barely deflecting his impact upon the rocks, Draken lay there for a moment before standing back up and began to focus the force power around him into a sword blade of perfect sharpness. The reason the blade so sharp was due to the fact that it had no thickness or width. He guided the blade to the same spot that he had attacked the first time, the blade slicing deep into the entity's flesh, if it could be called such. The entity roared again and attacked using the force, lashing out with a massive wave of darkside energy. Deflecting a small amount of the power, Draken turned it around so that it would burn like acid and redirected it back at the Golem sized being before him. The being screamed in agony and dropped to one knee as the acidic like power poured over it.

Draken extended one hand towards the clouds and unleashed a single bolt of pure energy into the atmosphere. Moments later the weather responded to his beck and call as the clouds opened up and released shards of razor sharp ice as well as jagged bolts of lightning slashing across the sky. He began to channel the full fury of the storm through his body, wielding more raw power then he had ever wielded to this date. As the power flowed into his body, he began to rise into the air slowly till he rose above the pit and several meters above the surface of the planet then he slowly began to gather the power that was being channeled through him together into one massive ball of energy.

Moments later he threw it at the entity below him, the ball of energy changing colors as it grew closer to the entity. When it exploded the shock wave knocked the force entity across the pit and into the wall and threw the Darkwatch soldiers back from the wall of the pit. With the power used, Draken slowly drifted to the bottom of the pit and dropped to his knees. He was drained of energy and could hardly stand to his feet, having to lean heavily on his staff to regain his footing.

The Sith Mistress stood on the rim of the excavation site, her robes whipping around her as the wind picked up. Her eyes widened as she saw what was approaching Draken. Instincts told her to go down there and fight along side him though she knew this was a battle he must fight alone. She respected this and remained where she was, even though he was thrown into the rock wall below. Still, she gathered the Force around her... just in case.

As the fight went on she found that she had to throw up her own Force shield against what the entity dished out. The shock waves sent her tumbling backwards though not as far as the Darkwatch soldiers that had been standing near her. The Sith Mistress had the advantage of using the Force to steady herself so as not to slam into anything, stopping without that much grace as she skidded to a halt. She hurried back to the rim where she could see what had happened. It had been an amazing fight, Alora keeping her attention fully on what was happening, on what Draken did to combat the entity. Seeing Draken lower himself down so he was kneeling at the bottom of the excavation site, and that the entity had been slammed into the wall, she commed the medics to treat Draken - and those of the soldiers that had been injured.

Not waiting for the shuttle to take her down, Alora launched herself over the edge, using the Force to slow her descent until she touched her feet to the ground. She approached Draken, kneeling alongside of him, resting her hand upon his shoulder. "The medics will be here soon."

For many months it had appeared the Sith Lord known as Nokrt had disappeared off the map since his departure to meet with a deceptive prick. However, the Sith Lord was always reborn anew for reasons beyond his own knowledge. At times he wished dead meant dead, but the Force and others always called him back to fulfill duties others or the galaxy itself needed him to fulfill. With each resurrection the Chiss always pondered on the will of the Force, and its obvious perversion with each return as he flew a shuttle that was awaiting him at his place of resurrection to the instructions indicated to him by the highest Krath himself.

As the ship was making its way through hyperspace, Nokrt went into his personal quarters within the ship for some privacy as he checked his body for any cloning mishaps that may have happened. One time the Chiss had woken up a human and he did not wish to find something abnormal again. Cybernetics were all fine and well when implemented, but extra organs or too few would be more of a hassle to live with. After thorough inspection Nokrt decided the Men and Women upon the planet of Korriban would keep their lives and earn his gratitude upon his next visit.

Dressing himself in his robes, the Sith Lord returned to his cockpit in time for him to hear the alarm going off that he was within acceptable range to exit hyperspace over Lord Dagon’s planet of Ziost. Lowering the throttle and shifting out of hyperspace the Sith-marked shuttle ejected out of hyperspace above the mountainous planet of Ziost, home of the Sith Species and inherently the Sith Order. Setting in auto-pilot to the destination given within his private comm from Dagon himself. The ship eased itself in and began to enter the atmosphere blaring the codings to not be blown away by the defenses of Dagon’s facility as he eased his way within.

Eventually, the ship touched down on a hangar within the fortress itself, and as the bay doors closed the Sith Lord waited for his ramp to open so he could walk down and instruct the nearest droid to do as he willed. And sure enough when he came down his ramp a black protocol droid stood awaiting his arrival. The Sith Lord walked down the ramp and the protocol droid gave him a short bow which Nokrt did not return as he had a certain distaste for droids being they were not of the Force and he had no ability to fully control them as he wished.

“Protocol Droid,” he began “please alert Master Dagon his new pupil has arrived. He should be expecting me per his invitation.”

The droid then scurried off to inform Dagon of Nokrt’s arrival for further instruction in Sith Alchemy. As Nokrt stood around and awaited the droid or Dagon himself to retrieve him, Nokrt felt out with the Force to attempt to find who else was present, and a seductive influence in the Force itself existed, his one night lover Mistress Alora, who instructed him in Sith Illusions and Seduction. Nokrt allowed himself a small smile and he felt another along with Alora, familiar but not more than an acquaintance.

"Please follow me, sir."

The black protocol droid strutted towards one of the massive elevator platforms that provided access to the forge beneath. Descending into the subterannean realm of the Krath, what began as simple warmth was soon a sweltering, almost tangible heat. When the platform stopped, a meter thick durasteel door opened like a gaping maw, making one wonder whether it was to keep people out or keep something in. A plethora of sounds escaped into the elevator shaft, sounds of industry and metalwork. This was a place of the elements of creation.

Dagon stood backlit by a fierce inferno, the fiery countenance of his armor lending him the appearance of some ancient god of fire and steal. The armor itself was black with molten lines of red and orange, and fire licked the surface in eternal hunger. The helmet's face was that of a viscious feline predator, and black smoke issued forth from the "mouth".

"With every ending comes a beginning, and so to does a man's life end and begin when he chooses a new path and leaves the old. The way of the Krath is a path steeped in mystery, power, and discipline, leading to mastery over both the world around you and yourself."

Dagon gestured and a large silver ingot floated into view. With an application of will, the silver melted and reformed, forged by the sheer force of Dagon's mind. The ingot thinned and widened, adopting the shape of an inverse tear drop. With another gesture, the silver cooled rapidly and adopted a mirror quality. Finally with a nod of his head, the point drove into the ground in front of Nokrt.

"Kneel before yourself and prepare to receive the oath of the Family."

Without much of a pause the Dark Lord’s droid ushered the Chiss to follow him. Nokrt was not fond of following any sort of droid, but his duty to the Sith required many tasks he found distasteful, and the Sith Lord followed the machination as he led him through the intimidating fortress of the Dark Lord Dagon. The ancient and loyal styled architecture of the primary floor was fascinating, showing homage to the Old Sith Empire in every detail. Nokrt found himself fond of how entrancing and powerful the main lobby was as he walked with the droid, as it led him to the Dark Lord.

Within moments the droid arrived at what appeared to be a service lift, not nearly as ornate as the rest of the building around the Chiss, and was quite plain and the Chiss strode upon the platform while the droid prepared them for their descent into whatever laid below in this Fortress. With a metal clank, the elevator began to move down slowly own into the subterranean of the fortress, and Nokrt could feel himself getting warmer and warmer as they descended into the realm of the Dark Lords work with the Krath.

As the slow moving elevator clinked its way further and further, the heat began to rise until Nokrt pondered if he were descending into the hell they were hoping to avoid. The Chiss soon felt the heat come over him, and him being from a winter based climate, he was not holding well with the amount of heat that was protruding from the fires of the Dark Lords legacy.

Nokrt focused the Force to himself, and slowed down his heart casing his blood to pump slower causing his body heat to drop, cooling himself by mere will. The feeling was comforting to the SIth Lord, and his command of the Force seemed not to have falter in his brief sabbatical. Focusing the Force to the world around him, the Chiss was able to pick up a sensational sight within this substructure of the Fortress, he saw the place was laced with the Dark Lords of the past, their presence lingering on after so many years.

At last they had come to the bottom and the Protocol droid scurried off and a massive door swung open, inviting the Sith Lord in. With pleasure Nokrt did so but only after a large howl and the beginning of odd sounds. Nokrt focus himself on what was n the room which had just opened and he feel them working, the slaves of the Sith ensuring the progress of the Dark Lord’s research is completed to it’s fullest. Nokrt allowed a smile to crack his face.

After some time spent maneuvering he was able to find the Dark Lord near a kiln which was burning as if it were connected to a heat vent from hell. The Dark Lord himself was impressive, with massive armor which suited his personal style and reputation Nokrt found the man quite well under-represented. He was impressive by every standard. Powerful in stature, and most impressive with the Force.

Within moments a mirror appeared before Nokrt, and doing as he was instructed he knelt before his new Master looking himself in the eyes before reciting his first words to the Dark Lord.

“I am ready for the Oath of the Krath be bestowed upon me, milord.”

Rising from the medic bay, Draken stood up and slowly pulled on his shirt. His ribs were exceptionally sore after the beating he had gotten from the force entity though, then he stopped quickly and glanced around. Something had changed since he had fought the entity. He could feel everything that was moving with in a large radius around the temple. Roughly ten miles a voice seemed to reply to him through the force. He could feel that a ship had landed nearby and that the being within the ship was now with the Dark Lord.

He took a moment to follow the figure, he recognized the Chiss that was with the Dark Lord he had met him three times. Once on Serenno when the Chiss had had some very rude manners, the second time had been on Csilla during the attack, they hadnt actually met that time but he could sense him clearly and the third time had been on Korriban when the Chiss had attempted to impress him by creating a statue of him on Korriban beside the ancient Dark Lords of the Sith. The appeal to Draken's pride hadn't worked though upon looking back at it, he wasn't about to complain about the statue.

Turning away from that knowledge, Draken reached out and brushed against Alora's aura with a wave of the force, his presence much more magnified in the force then what it had been before the battle. Through the force he let her know of what could be potential danger and of the fact that he needed to leave for a brief time but that he would return as soon as the Force would allow it. With that message he headed to his ship and and was soon headed elsewhere in the Galaxy.

"I stand now before the crucible, ready to be reforged in the fires of knowledge and insight.

My passion shall be honed to a razor's edge, a tool to be wielded in the pursuit of power.

My distrust shall be replaced by the Dark Family, with Fathers to guide me, Brothers to stand by me, and Sons to pass on my teachings to.

I will resist the temptations of the path of the godbeast. I will face my demons, and they will know me as master.

I will command the world around me, Destruction will be my sword, Creation my armor.

I will study the past to master its secrets, not be bound by its rituals. I will pursue all avenues to power without letting the scars of the past sway me.

I am reborn a Son of Krath, pledged to the teachings of the Dark Father, and to the eternal quest for knowledge. To this I swear beyond the boundaries of life and death, as I walk the eternal path and join the ranks of the wise in the halls of eternity."

Nokrt kept his head low as the Dark Lord recited the Oath of the Krath, allowing the words to command the room about him as if it were some ancient ceremony where one was bestowed great honor by the King. The process was Knightly, and Nokrt took the honor well, not especially knowing how he had deserved the honor to train under the most powerful Force User in the galaxy. He assumed there was some fine tuning in his genetics upon his rebirth, making him a bit more obedient and less of the loose cannon than he was formerly. The Chiss was able to look at all problems rationally and noticed this since his rebirth and he was proud that he was finally perfected, abilities with the Force aside.

The Chiss remained with his face into the mirror and within it he saw himself change near the end of the Dark Lords recital of the Oath, his eyes glowed a darker red than he had ever known, his skin grew a tinge greyer than its normal blue, and with that a surge of the Dark Sid came over him, and he could feel its tinge throughout every cell in his body, weaving through him and infecting him. Nokrt could feel his power within the Force multiply and he smiled at the accomplishment.

He then recited the Oath back to his Master, accepting the Krath way as his personal code, and awaited further instruction.

Returning once more to Ziost, Draken landed near the where the underground temple had been built. Once there, he left his ship and went to check on the technicians to see how they were doing on the Gauss guns. All but one of the four capital ship targeting weapons were completed and ready for testing. He smiled and nodded to them then headed in a different direction, towards where he could feel Alora's presence.

Ten minutes later he found her and pulled her for a kiss before he dropped to one knee with one hand held out towards her. In the palm of his outstretched hand was a small black velvet box which held a ring.

"Alora Darknell will you marry me?"

Since Draken had left, Alora had wandered the terrain surrounding the underground temple. She had recalled her ship to Zoist seeing as she had come with him to the planet. Once her ship had arrived, she remained within it's luxurious confines, mostly in her meditation chamber.

That was where Draken found her on his return. His kiss had almost an electric charge to it and as they broke apart her eyes widened as he got down on his knee. The sense she got was that he was serious as he asked her to marry him.

This was her second proposal. Years ago, Thorpe had asked her to marry him, more as a business proposal rather than for any emotional connection. At that time Alora had not even considered getting married, thought it was a silly idea when she could have anyone she wanted as her lovers. That was then however. Draken knew her so well, just as she knew him. They had a close bond that had only ever grown stronger.

Finally, Alora broke the silence with words she never thought she would ever utter, "Yes Draken, I will marry you."

When Alora said yes, Draken swept her up into his arms and spun her around before kissing her deeply. The expression in his eyes told her all she needed to know as he slid the delicately engraved ring onto her finger which it fit perfectly. "I'll return to you soon my darling. I must speak with the Lord Dagon about several matters." He kissed her hand lightly then left her ship and headed to where the underground forge was.

The droid stepped into his way for a brief moment before Draken levitated it out of his way and continued on his way to the forge. Once he was there, he headed over to the Dark lord and passed by the chiss who was also in the forge.

"The most important lesson towards the attainment of power within the Krath is to understand the full breadth of the resources under your command, and how those resources can be applied to your situation. Wisdom and cunning are powerful tools on the battlefield, enhancing one's effectiveness tenfold. A powerful warrior can fell ten enemies with ten blows, a wise sorcerer can fell ten enemies with one blast of lightning to the metal floor they're standing on.

As a member of the Family, you'll have limited access to the Krath libraries. That access will grow as you come to understand and master the energies that you control. This orb will be your key to that repository of knowledge, once you touch the orb it will bind itself to you and respond only to you."

Dagon handed Nokrt an orb with a polished black reflective surface, swathed in cloth so that Nokrt would be the first to touch it, and therefore establish a bond to the arcane device.

"To begin your in depth studies, review Tarkeer's Mastery of the Elements, Katrakov's collection of essays called Rites and Rituals of the Dark Side, and Sadow's texts, especially Shadows of Power. Apply the concepts of the texts to your own methods and return to me to demonstrate how this new information has affected your methods, how your power has grown."

OOC((None of those titles are canon so don't go on a tear looking for them. The point is to establish that your character is well read in theory and application of the Dark Arts and to provide a springboard towards learning new Force powers.))

======================

While the new Krath began his first steps into the world of Krath sorcery, Dagon found himself drawn back to his work in the forges. Draken approached the Dark lord requesting a private audience, and Dagon nodded signaling that Draken should talk while he worked. Through will and ritual the Dark Lord laid out the framework for a new set of armor. Years of experience allowed Dagon to craft armor that would surpass other smiths in terms of durability and yet move with ease and lightness that they could not match. Within the armor was a complex system of mechanical performance enhancers, allowing the wearer to move with heightened speed and agility. The metal itself was a hybridization of Sith steel and laminium, which when combined with alchemical techniques would allow the suit to "heal" itself, expediently if Dagon could focus solely on repairing it. Throughout the armor was a repulsor harness that would allow limited flight, augmented by his mastery of the Force. Inside the breastplate was a personal shield generator that could provide limited protection against enemy fire. Additionally, the suit was sealed against vacuum and had oxygen in case of EVA. Magnetic grips were in the boots and a chembond tether would provide extra protection from unexpected forces.

Next, Dagon forged two gauntlets, one with a hellthrower mounted into it for taking down heavily armored foes, the other with a "tickler", a device that emitted energy that destabilized volatile components like the baradium in thermal detonators, causing a premature detonation. Both gauntlets could turn aside blaster bolts if necessary, and had alchemically augmented talons that could cut through most materials like a hot knife through butter.

On one shoulder pad was a micro guided rocket launcher, with two types of rounds, specialized gas rounds designed for a very specific purpose and DEMP rounds. the launcher was mounted in a way that allowed it to track targets seperately from the armor's movements. On the other shoulder was a heavy duty engineering cutting laser, capable of chewing through a durasteel door in no time.

The helmet of the armor had all of the usual components of Dagon's command suites, encrypted comm gear, scrambling, multiple view modes both technological and etheric, smart grenade ID, etc. What was unusual was the red crystaline matrix and inset patterns on the faceplate. With an application of will, the user could turn wrath into energy, literally giving him looks that could kill.

After the armor was completed, it was treated heavily for resistance to heat and fire, and painted in black and dark red tones.

"Would you stand beside me as my best man at my wedding?" He grinned in a embarrassed but rather happy manner and waited for Dagon's reply. A few moments later after receiving his answer he posed a second question. "I came to you for more then one reason. I need some help with alchemy, sorcery and spells are the easy part but sadly alchemy eludes me still. I need to create a suit of armor of the similar shade to this armor."

As he was now a student of the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Nokrt was extremely attentive to each word that passed from his master's mouth. The short speech that was given was concise, and Nokrt appreciated that without these poetic analogies he was meant to figure out from other masters as to what it was they wanted him to accomplish. The Chiss kept bowed before his master until the statement was completed and the Chiss was permitted to rise and accept the new instrument that was meant to aid and improve Nokrt's knowledge and mastery of the Force.

The Chiss reached out and allowed his hands to grasp the cloth which had blanketed the orb which Master Dagon had described and could feel its power pulse within the Force as he had it within his grasp. He had not gazed on the beautiful polished onyx-colored orb within, but he knew nonetheless that it was immaculate from its presence within the Force. He took the orb and placed it within one of the oversized pockets within his robes before turning back to his master bowing low as a man the Chiss recognized had emerged into the room.

Alora laughed a 'giddy' laugh as Draken swung her around. As he set her down their lips locked, the electric feeling flowing from one to the other. Parting, the Sith Mistress caressed her fiance's face as he spoke to her. "Yes... there is a lot to think about. I think... I will ask Darla if she'll be my Matron of Honour..."

Her thoughts turned towards Sirvani. She would have loved to have the red Twi'lek in her bridal party as well though that would never happen. Alora missed her friend. "Maybe we should invite Sirvani and John's daughter?" As Draken left to go about his business, she continued their conversation - of sorts - through their bond Who else? There is so much to think about... so much to organise... Where will we get married at? Who do we get to officiate for us? Alora's thoughts spiraled as she sank back down into a lounge chair, bringing her hand up to admire her ring.

It was breathtakingly beautiful, the platinum ring with a clear coursca gem. She tilted her hand back and forth, admiring how the light caught on each cut of the ring. Alora smiled to herself as she thought about the man who would one day in the not too distant future be her husband.

Laughing, she shook her head, "This isn't getting anything done." She rose from her chair and walked through her ship to the comm room. It had been a while since she had contacted Darla. Another chuckle escaped her as she thought of what her friend's response could be towards her news. Everyone knew that Alora wasn't the marrying kind so it was very much out of character that she would marry Draken. She stood quietly for a few moments as she composed the comm she would send. After sending it her thoughts turned towards Draken... What to get him as a gift...

"I would be honored to stand by you at such a momentous event in your life. As for coloration, there are components that one can mix with the alloy to create the specific color effects, or their's always paint if the armor is meant more for ceremony and appearance than battle."

Dagon gave Draken time to consider his options while he addressed Nokrt.

"Excellent work, now that you have begun these first steps into the deeper complexities of Sith sorcery, I want you to endeavour towards mastery of one of the arcane disciplines, whether it be an element such as pyromancy or geomancy, ritualism such as curses, or channeling. More of the archives have been unlocked for you to continue your studies, and I look forward to seeing the path you choose to first follow, then to blaze yourself."

OOC((Your last post was excellent and I look forward to reading more, this time I'd like to see you develop where you'd like your specialty to be, where you distinguish yourself from other Sith and declare your own individuality.))

Draken waited till Dagon had finished speaking with Nokrt. "Thank you brother, I am pleased that you would stand by my side in this. Now as to what you say about the different types of coloration for the armor, it is likely that she will be using the armor in battle so we will have to use the components of which you speak to bind the color to the metal."

He waited now to hear which components would be needed for the black and which would be needed for the red.

  • 3 weeks later...

An unassuming shuttle arrives at Ziost with unique cargo. The cargo is swiftly taken to the lower levels where the Dark Lord resides.

"If you'll excuse me a moment, Darth Arcanus, pressing matters have moved to the forefront. Go to the ritual area and make yourself ready for the coming storm."

Dagon approached the crate before him. Everyone has their own demons, and this man's had manifested as doubt and despair. He thought he could not lead his bretheren in battle, so he handed the title off to another, a traitor to his people that betrayed the mandalorian code of honor. Only a desperate measure could right things and restore honor to the mandalorian warrior people.

The crate opened, and Dagon levitated the corpse to the center of a ritual circle. The circle was cut into the ground, rather than laid out in metal, and as Dagon threw a lever, the circle lines began to fill with blood mixed with herbs and poisons. As Dagon began to chant, the air thickened and one could see dark shapes moving through blackness, gathering. The blood bubbled and writhed in ways that should not have been possible and began to rise up and over the body in a dome of blood and oily black shadows. Inside the dome, darkness and gore crept down in spiraling tendrils, worming its way into the eyes and mouth of the body like black serpents. The body began to convulse as if in the midst of a seizure, until at last it gave up its prize, the tormented soul of the warlord Vihk, bound to its corpse by its lost honor.

"How heavy the weight of leadership must have been, with the Republic setting in upon your people like jackals, making their very survival uncertain. Its a terrible burden for anyone to bear, and I can forgive you for buckling under that weight, for I am merciful and understanding. I offer you now the chance to redeem yourself and save your people from the oathbreaking tyrant that now rules them. You know what must be done, now I give you the means to do it."

With a final invocation that carries that power of a thunderstrike, Vihk's soul is lifted from its fleshy cage and placed inside a work of terrible beauty. A bipedal mechanical killing machine that stood over twice the height of a man, it clutched in each hand a massive vibro axe that could fell a Krayt dragon in a single blow. Mounted on its gauntlets were a pair of hellthrowers, capable of delivering terrible bale fire at great range. Upon its chest was a repeating imperial stun blaster to weaken its opponents before it rent them asunder.

Death...

Mortality; a finality known to be its own honor for a Mandalorian even as disgraced as he, but with none a care or need for existence left, what left was there but to embrace the darkness that awaited him upon the path he already tread?

A long wastrel of gray nothingness spread out before the wispy avatar of the once great leader, as he filed in a long line of mysterious individuals that looked like ambiguous grey blobs moving impartially onwards. He figured it would settle his nerves to step out and walk aside the line, but it was no different aside the line, except for the gray of his treads bearing a heavier, darker tone to each and every step.

There was no light for Vihk to clutch to in order to save himself from his own dark heart, walking as he was, through a sea of the maddeningly mundane. He was forced to rely on his own mind as the positive elements of his psyche began to slip from beneath his "fingers" joining an ever growing resentment for the living.

Mandalore's soul drifted through the eternal void of non-existence, floating perpetually upon invisible strings through a hazy temporal life that seemed a mockery of his own. Vague elements of his consciousness wavered, pushing lingering images from his decaying mind to the forefront of his empty existence and printed sporadic images of his last battle through what he assumed were still his eyes.

He could perceive the flashbacks rather well for what he was given, but the entirety of this gifted perception remained consistent through a hollow optical logic of which he had no clue. It was as if he could see through human eyes again.

The feeling was alright enough, but the memories burned him deeply; the entirety of the situation on Coruscant was both irritating and infuriating. He could feel a semblance of a feeling peeking through him to show itself and burst the gray banality of the situation away from himself. However, after a few moments of the same thing he saw it from the eyes and ears of those witnessing. It was nice to get that perspective, because it helped him understand what exactly was happening all around him at the time, but something was clouding his recognition and evaluation. He could no longer see it as an honorable sacrifice, but as a coward's way out. He gave the Mandalorians back to the weak Republic and was forced to live with his regret and guilt for all eternity. These small attempts at feelings once again tried to rise, but their efforts were futile. It was with the aid of a small fluctuation in Vihk's metaphysical structure that the feelings were able to manifest. Instead of placating and wallowing in his attempts at resolution though, while it would seem a human thing to do, the entirety of the situation just made him angrier every time he saw it.

Red hot rage poured through the gray wisp of a form that Vihk took up and as his ”œemotions”

There was so much to think about... so much to organize. Instinct told her that there was something big on the horizon though it shouldn't hurt to arrange things for their wedding before it struck. Having thought about what to get Draken as his gift from her, Alora would have to speak with the Dark Lord to have it made. As he was currently busy the Sith Mistress pondered who else to invite.

Emily... I wonder if she uses her mothers comm link number? I'll try it and see... Alora's hands moved over the communications board, keying in the frequency Sirvani had used prior to her death, to send off an invitation to their wedding.

After that was done, Alora snatched up a datapad and headed back into the living area of her ship where she reclined on the lounge, getting herself comfortable while she thought of what else to do for their upcoming nuptials...

Dagon cocked his head slightly as reports came in over the TacCom, the rebel fleet had arrived further away than expected from the station, allowing them to prepare for the minefield, but making them far more vulnerable to operation Downfall. Dagon made his will known to the acolytes, and then opened a channel to the troops that stood at the ready on Ziost.

"Today will be a day of days. Today we not only stand against the insidious threat of the rebel terrorists, but we move to end its brutal reign of terror and bring forth the better galaxy we have all striven for. Your training, every battle, every life sacrificed on the altar of freedom, has led you to this moment. Fight with the valour and discipline that have served you in victories past, and we will emerge victorious, we will extinguish the flames of war and create a grand society that will surpass all those that have come before.

No longer will our families live in fear, no longer will the lives of good men who sought only to protect what they believed in be spent in battle, no longer will we despair that the galaxy is a place of only war and terror. Today is the first day of the new order. Prepare for jump, and good hunting, warriors of the Empire."

The very planet itself shuddered as technology and sorcery came together to make Ziost the key to victory.
