  1. Crucifixion

    Korriban

Not exactly sure what to do with the bone Cru just looked at it for a moment while trying to ignore the foulness of Raynuk. If being resurrected from the dead meant that you'd smell like Rancor bowels then he wasn't sure he'd ever want to be resurrected. Then again he had never been dead before so it's not like he would know. Placing the bone in his pocket Cru looked over at Raynuk. "Thanks...I think. I'll hold on to it just in case you find out that you needed it." Walking back over to Master Tarrian to try and get a bit of cleaner air Cru sat down to talk with his new master. "So Master, may I ask why we came all this way to get Master Montar? I mean no disrespect to Master Montar. I am just curious."

"So... how did you like your first field trip?" master Tarrian asked. Glad that the great foul smelling sith master zombie was in the bacta tank Cru fought the urge to breath through his nose until he felt the air had been filtered a few times. "Interesting to say the least master. I had heard stories of the sith having great powers and you have shown me how powerful a sith can be. Raising that corpse is something I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams. Having lightning coming from your finger tips. This is power that I want to learn master."

One second Cru had been standing and the next he was on the ground again picking himself up. The last thing he remembered before hitting the ground was a bone coming straight at his face. "What in the hell have I gotten into???" he muttered under his breath. First it had been the illusion of a Rancor attacking, now he had a Zombie sith master with a charred hole in his chest throwing bones at him. He couldn't help but think of what his master had asked him. "So... this is what becomes of a sith master sure you still want to be one?" Sure this wasn't the life he had expected when he was younger, but he knew that this was the path he was meant to go down. Brushing himself off and picking up the bone that had been tossed at him he waited once again for his master to introduce him. In the mean time he tried to ignore the throbbing pain on his forehead.

Standing by his master Cru couldn't help but notice the repugnant stench coming from the walking corpse. Knowing that he was another sith master he did his best not to chuckle when the loose bone came tumbling out. Being respectful of the company he was in he waited for his master to introduce him to the sith master properly and not to speak out of turn.
  5. Tarrian looked over her shoulder at Cru "you will be joining me on the Hell's Rememberance..." Realizing it would not be in his best interest to question his master he nodded his head and followed her to the ship. "Great, I fought my way to get off of one of these things only to wind right back on one. Hopefully this will not take long.", he thought to himself.
  6. Cru listened to what Tarrian had to say. He couldn't help but be confused because of how real it was. The heat, the smell of the Rancor, the pain all of it was in his mind. It took him a few moments for all of this to sink in. It was an illusion and an extremely convincing one. I have come to the right place. Knowing now what he did, Cru felt like he understood now more then he had before. Things were becoming clearer and he knew that she would be demanding but it would be worth it. Kneeling down Cru bowed his head in respect to his master. ”œForgive my ignorance master. I will not question you ever again. I will follow your instructions to my utmost ability. I will not fail you.”
  7. "Now that you understand your predictament... why is it you think you are not going to be trained by me...???" she asked him with a cold tone in her voice. ”œThrowing me in a room with a Rancor and flames coming from the wall was my first clue. But I defeated your beast as I am sure you were not expecting. What I do not understand is why you took the time to heal me. I came to you because you called to me. I am here to be trained and I do not understand how feeding me to a Rancor is how you train someone.”
  8. Hitting the ground hard it knocked the breath out of Cru. Rolling out of the way of the Rancor's feet he took a deep breath and tried to remember where he saw that flash of something in the dirt. It had caught his eye for a split second, but he knew that only something metal or glass would give off a reflection like that. Either one would be better then what he had which was nothing at all. Now he just had to figure out a way to find it. The only thing that he had over the Rancor was speed. Sticking close and kneeling down by the flames he looked around the room once more. On his second scan looking over the dirt he noticed the shiny object. The Rancor was turning around to look for him. It was moving slower then it had before. The wounds to its sides must be taking there toll. I must be quick and grab whatever it is in the dirt. Making a quick jump to one side of the room Cru yelled out ”œTurn this way you filthy beast”
  9. Before Cru knew it he was face down on the cold floor inside the room. Picking himself up he looked up when flames burst from every wall and above him was the largest Rancor he had ever seen. He began to sweat in the intense heat and it was becoming harder and harder to breath. It felt like the oxygen was being sucked from his lungs. The Rancor was growling and screeching at him. With the slightest bit of movement its eyes followed him. His heart was beating so hard he felt as if it was about to burst from his chest. The beating was so loud in his inner ear he knew that the Rancor had to be able to hear it too. I must be still and slow down my heart before the Rancor senses my fear. Closing his eyes Cru gently took a deep breath through his nose and filled his lungs to capacity. The air was hot and it burned, but he held it for a few seconds while trying to gather his thoughts. As his heart begin to slow down Cru focused his thoughts on his fear. I must not fear. There is nothing to be afraid of. I must remain calm and figure a way out of here. There is always a way, a solution. I must calm my fear and learn the solution. Opening his eyes Cru slowly turned his head upward and noticed the Rancor's eyes still fixed on him. He must think of a way”¦something was not right here. A moment before the room was dark with just a small lit candle and now it was an inferno in which a huge Rancor was about to have him for a snack. Something was not right. The Rancor realizing he had moved growled louder then it had previously. Instinct kicked in and he rolled out of the way when the large Rancor hand swiped at him. He kept his thoughts on remaining calm as the Rancor let out furious growl dripped slime like drool from its massive jowls. As the Rancor searched for him, Cru ran to the other side of the room behind the Rancor ducking down as close to the flames as his body could stand. The heat was enough for his skin to start blistering but he ignored the pain as best he could and continued to work on keeping himself calm. Looking around he scanned the room for an object he could use against the Rancor. There was nothing. The Rancor must have been able to smell his burning flesh as it lifted its massive head and began to sniff cocking its head back over its right shoulder. Time was running out and the pain was becoming more then he could bear. Like a mad man running through the streets Cru jumped up from his crotched position and jumped on the Rancor's massive back as it swung around looking for him. The Rancor let out a shrieking growl as it threw itself around wildly. Cru lifted his right hand in the air as the Rancor bucked and thrust it down into the soft tissue on its side. Using every bit of strength he dug his fingers in and squeezed the muscle under its flesh forming a firm grip. The Rancor then tried to reach back and using its momentum Cru took his left hand and dug his nails into its flesh and pushed as hard as he could wiggling his fingers deeper and deeper into the muscle. The Rancor became livid and tried to buck again, this time ramming its left shoulder into the wall burning itself in the flame. Still unsure of how he was going to get out of this Cru hung on with every ounce of his being”¦
  10. Dazed by hitting his head on the floor when he was thrown across the passageway Cru looked up as she came near him. Feeling a trickle of blood coming from his lip that he must have bit when his head impacted with the floor Cru put his hand up to wipe the blood away. His head throbbed in pain as he felt her icy stare burning into his soul. "So you think you will despise me... ??? That I will break you... " the dark haired woman said. Before he could even think to respond to her he felt a chill come up his spine, a cold like he had never felt before. A feeling of cold internally deep within his chest and head. The room around him seemed to freeze and felt her pushing into his mind. Cru tried to resist for a moment, but he knew that it was futile. She could crush his mind with a thought and he knew that. In his mind he could barely hear her. Like an echoing whisper. "Little one... is that what you think the Sith are? Do you think I need to break you? To make you despise me to be a good sith?" Her voice in his head barely a whisper.. "Look at my once apprentice... do you feel despise for me in his being? Does he look broken?" Catching a quick glimpse of her former apprentice Cru fought back the urge to shiver and considered her question. Then he felt her back out of his mind and like someone coming up for a breath he gasped as he felt the cold leave him. "Cru do you honestly believe that the sith have no feelings? While some think this... that the sith rule by fear and hatred... you will quickly find that although our training is quite different and requires strength, courage and endurance... The sith are passionate... strong minded, and have little time for the weak." Again Cru listened to her question and considered what she was telling him. He felt that his mind was strong and could handle her training, but passion was the one thing that kept sticking in his mind. The only passion he ever had was his hatred for the slavers that held him captive. Looking up he saw her hand offered to him. He embraced her cold hand and slowly stood up as she spoke to him. "Cru you must choose and choose now... your training will be long, and sometimes cruel... you will be pushed and injured... but in the end you will be stronger for it... " He contemplated what she was saying, but in his heart he knew that he was here for a reason and he had been drawn to her for a purpose. The answer was more clear to him then it had ever been. "Master I choose to be trained by you. I am ready for what trials you have in store for me. I know that the journey will be a long one, but it is one that I am I prepared for."
  11. Master and former apprentice continued to talk as Cru followed. Still listening in the dark haired woman turned her attention to him. "So, tell us little one... what do you think will be happening to you in the next few months... and I will let you know just how terribly wrong you are... ", she asked. Cru grinned at the thought of what might happen to him in the coming months. "Pain, anguish, torture, suffering, misery...all of the things that have made up my life as I know it. It was all in preparation for this, but even the purest of metals must be broken and refined before perfected. I will be broken and I will despise you more then I already do. What will happen to me is not my concern. What I will become when you are done is my goal...Master."
  12. The dark haired woman grabbed Cru by the face. He could feel the cold on her finger tips and the dark side flowing from her soul. As she shoved him backwards he could not help but to smirk a little in his mind. "Life as you knew it is over..." she said in a dark cold tone Indeed, the life he knew had changed from the time he first felt her calling. At the moment when he went on a berserker rage and killed the slavers and all the occupants of the ship he knew the path he was taking was one he'd never be able to return from. Killing his slave masters was the fuel he needed to kindle the dark side in his soul. Delving into his hatred and anger towards them he became intoxicated by the dark side. Lost in thought his attention was caught by the dark haired woman as if the room where empty and they were the only ones there. "What is your name little one...?" she asked. "They call me Cru. I know of no other name mistress" he replied. "Follow us" she told him. Consumed by her, Cru felt that he should follow her and the cloaked stranger that had just arrived. Listening in on their conversation it seemed as if the stranger was a former apprentice. He continued to listen as he followed so he could learn more about both of them, but he also kept his ear open to listen for her instructions. The last thing he wanted was for his new master to ever feel like she did not have his attention. From this point forward she was the only voice that mattered. She had his undivided attention.
  13. Looking into the dark haired womans eyes Cru replied to her question "You are the woman in my visions, my dreams. I have been called to you so I can be trained. I give myself to you to be molded as you see fit master." Cru knew that he was getting himself into something that he could not walk away from. He knew that asking the dark haired woman would change his life forever, but he trusted the Force and the visions it had given him. His life was but a blur, but the Force had always been with him waiting patiently to be tapped. Ever since his first memory he knew that he was different and the path he would walk would be different. He had been patient, he had listened, and he waited for the right time to set things in motion leading to this moment. He was hers to mold, to sharpen, to perfect.
  14. Being motioned into the room Cru was compelled and complied with the womans bidding. He entered the room. He could feel the power that she possessed and out of instinct he kneeled down before her and asked "what is your bidding my master?"
