  1. I hadn't even checked the date of the post, and you really had me--up to the point where Adi-wan went nuts and Taren joined in and everyone died. Which was awesome. (Btw--fire to the face for the win.) I caught the clue reference. I sensed it was a joke because it got over the top and I remember well the crazy things you had AP do in RP. (Although the sudden death would have been an awesome plot hook--however, I like Lei and her memory too much to see her go this early.) Keep up the good work!
  2. This is really great so far! sorry I haven't commented sooner, but I was trying to catch up. Again, I love the way you work the relationship between Krissi and AP. Tho the one comment about 'her face nearly split with a smile' seems... ominous. And I love the sudden appearance and disappearance of the hutt by assassins. Black Sun perchance?
  3. This is really a great story AP, and a fascinating idea. I love the way the characters have been transported from the RP world to the universe. I think you're doing a great job. I have to admit, seeing Krissi call him honey sturck me as almost odd, but not out of place. That scene was very down to earth and real in terms of being realistic as a relationship and true to the character. It's interesting to see them on the same side and at such peace (whereas in the RP they almost always have a strained relationship due to their opposing views). It was domestic and private. Like a snapshot. I loved it. You did a great job capturing Krissi and her interactions with AP. Keep it up!
  4. The transport ships continues on its way until it reaches the space above Coruscant. It slips into the atmosphere and lands on the planet surface.
  5. A passenger transport ship enters the space above Naboo and sets off. On it are a beautiful young woman and her droid, an R2 unit. There is nothing particularly special. She wears long, dusky blue pants and a cream colored tunic on top. She wears a navy blue robe with a hood, which is currently pulled back. Beneath the robe there is a satchel filled with supplies and money. Her long brown hair is pulled back into a pony tail worn high on the head with three braids coiled about it. She tries to relax as the ship begins its journey to Coruscant. Delicately--and very carefully she begins to reach out in the force, trying to go unnoticed.

Buried away in the countryside of Naboo, in a place an ancient manor surrounded by a deep wood and vast meadows Krissi Kenobi lead a happy life. She had three beautiful children. A marvelous assistant and companion. Faithful servants. Excellent defenses, both natural and man made. And miles upon miles of stunning beauty. Beyond the meadows was the land of waterfalls and lakes, closing in on the resort region. But here in her cozy little niche of the world, of the galaxy, Krissi could live in peace and prosperity being what she loved most: a mother. Far from the force battles, the epic struggle of good and evil, she and her children simply were. They knew no father. There had to be one. At times little Domi would ask her mother, who would become very grave and sad. Then she would not ask her mother any more. The two darling boys did not seem to care. They had no mind for their father. As long as they had their devoted mother all was well in the world. As for Goldberry, as long as her mistress could live in peace she cared little for the affairs of the outer world. So it was for many years they lived in a serene, ideal enviroment. But you can't run from the past forever. And sooner or later, the war comes to your door.... * * * It was early evening. Krissi had just put her two sons to bed. Domi was fast asleep already and Krissi was enjoying a mug of tea under a clear, flawless sky filled by the stars. It was a beautiful night. Goldberry took her place beside her. "Domi should begin her training soon," she remarked quietly. Krissi frowned. "I know... but I am--reluctant--to--" "Begin training as it could cause a disturbance. I know," Goldberry said. "It may bring unwanted attention." Krissi took another sip. "Do you intend to hide forever mistress?" Goldberry studied her master. Krissi glanced at her, disapproving. "Perhaps." She paused. "As long as I can anyway. I prefer the inevitable later rather than sooner." She sipped her tea. Goldberry sighed. "You might find allies." Krissi frowned, "The world has changed. It's become a darker place. Even among old friends. They could not protect me. And what would I tell them? No. It is better to stay." "It you wish mistress," Goldberry sighed. They sat in silence a long while, evening drawing on and eventually deepening into night. Suddenly Krissi shivered and frowned. Goldberry sat up, concerned. "Mistress?" Krissi gazes into space for a moment, then says quietly, "He--he has called me." Goldberry tensed, frowning thoughtfully. "You do not have to respond." Krissi shook her head. "No.... He--he has sought me out. After all this time...." Her voice becomes a whisper, "I knew he would. I have suffered much by his hand, and yet I am bound to him. He could not leave me in peace forever." "Then the time has come? You will go to him?" Goldberry asked. "Yes." Krissi stood. "Prepare the ship. The children are to know I am on an errand. Keep them safe here. I will return when I can... and be in touch when it is secure to do so." "Yes mistress." Goldberry stood and bowed. "I shall make the preparations." She disappeared inside. Krissi lingered a moment longer, gazing into the endless void of the sky which lead to other worlds. Her brow furrowed, then she turned and packed a few things. She summoned her faithful R2 unit Dain. With several more commands the two got into a hover craft and set out on the long journey to the captial city. It took several days in an attempt to obscure the trail. Once there she bought transport on a ship and set off for her destination.
  7. CHARACTER SHEET Real Name: Krystal Kenobi Nickname: Krissi Age: 28 Species: Human Height: 5'7”
  8. OOC: Just because an alias is captured, doesn't mean all of them are. However, her post will remain ignored if you wish.
  9. Eve did as she was told, whimpering softly. She didn't trust this woman, and didn't like this place. She could feel her mother, and something was wrong. Her mother was in trouble. She wanted to see her again. "Mommy...." She said softly. She looked up at the woman with her. "Help her... She needs me... She's in trouble...." The little girl overlooked the fact that it was her third birthday, thinking only of her mother.
  10. Krissi looked at Jedit, now a unconscoius pile on the floor. She cast a glare at the man, taking Jedit's pluse. She gave a soft sigh when she realized he wasn't dead. She looked at the shackles. "Those aren't necessary. I will come... Leave the boy alone, he was only trying to protect me. However, if you value your life, I suggest you treat me kindly from this point on. Should you ignore my advice, you will soon wish you were never born" Krissi rose to her feet, showing she was unarmed. She looked at Jedit nervously. The gun remained pointed at her. Krissi shook her head, then grabbed the shackles, fastening them to her wrists. "I am ready, please, just leave the boy"
  11. Eve shivered softly, looking up at the Sith mistress. She closed her eyes. She could feel her mother, but she was very far away. Back in the dark place, locked behind walls of dirt and filth. She whimpered softly, snuggling into the blanket. She looked at the Sith lady. "I want Mommy!" She began to cry.
  12. A small blue streak flew across the desert, approaching the outskirts of a city. Mos Espa, a den of thieves. it probably wasn't the best place to stop, but it had to do. Krissi and Jedit stopped outside a cantina and made their way inside, to a booth in the back. Krissi looked at Jedit. "We have to find a ship and get out of her. I'm going to get Eve back"
  13. Krissi went deep into meditation. After hours of searching, Krissi finally found the location she was looking for. She had finally been able to find where the message had come from. She lost no time in acting. She raced upstairs, grabbed Jedit and found the nearest ship. It took off for an unknown location. Krissi noticed that as the ship leapt into hyperspace she felt as though there were three forces about her. Her own presence, that of her son, and now, another one. As the ship finished the leapt, it was swept from her mind.
  14. Krissi was lost in thought when the force message hit her. She leapt to her feet, looking around. Her heart beat quickened, hoping against hope to magically find her daughter before her. Where are you? Who are you? But the presence faded quickly. Krissi began to cry. "No!" She reached out, trying to sense the presence she had felt before. Please, tell me who you are... Tell me what has happened to my little girl... But there was no reply. Krissi sat back down and began to weep. She was beginning to think her daughter would be lost forever. She looked up at the sky. Oh, Beren.... What am I going to do?
  15. A small ship landed and three figures exited. They checked into a nearby hotel. The tallest commanded the two to wait in the room and furthur the search, while she went out for a walk. Krissi roamed the streets, sending a force message out to all who could hear. Fellow Jedi, I come on am important mission. I have a child, a small girl, about two in age, who has recently disappeaered.... She is a precious gift to me. If you have any information about her, please, PLEASE let me know... Find me at the Blossom hotel. My name is Krissi... Krissi returned to the hotel lobby. She felt a tremor of pain run through her. Eve was frightened. She closed her eyes and reached out to her. Now more then ever Krissi wished she could be with her child again.

Krissi stood there silently. Fit to keep his child? A hundred emotions seemed to run through her veins at one time. Fear, anger, confusion... She stared at him for a moment. Could she love him? A man who had hunted her people- killed thousands of them- took her captive, manipulated her to his will... Could she love him? Krissi felt a tear slide down her face. The child stirred and Krissi looked down at her daughter. Even if she said yes, if she did not mean it he would know. Yet... Her mind pulled back and forth. He wasn't always that way. There was once a time that he had been kind to her- had been her friend. And even in the depths of the Sith Temple he had shown kindess. Any pain was distantly felt due to drugs, and her choices had lead to her capture. Who was to say that the force did not will it? Krissi took a deep breath. The choice had to be made- it would have to be made now. Krissi looked into Ar-Pharazon's eyes. You know as well as I do what this can do to both of us. It is forbidden for a Jedi to love a Sith- and it is forbidden for both to love... But... I do. May fate have mercy on me- I love you... Krissi took a deep breath trembling. She turned from him. She had given herself a death sentence no doubt, but she would not retract the words.

Krissi glared back at the woman, the presence washing over her. It felt familiar... Her eyebrow raised and she smiled. "Well.... I'd never... Brook... My old friend...." the last word had a bit to it. Krissi walked up to AP, stilling eyeing JgoD. "I like your new look. But I'm not here for you" Krissi turned to AP, ignoring the other Sith. Her eyes were cold. "I want the child. I will do anything for her... You know I would... I want no harm to come to her...." Krissi's voice softened considerably, dropping so that only he could hear it. "Please Ar-Pharazon.... If I ever meant anything to you- if she means anything to you- give her back"

Krissi cleared her mind and reached out to her daughter. Suddenly she knew where Eve was- and the guests AP was currently entertaining. Krissi immediately went into a a room several halls down. Krissi turned a fixture on the wall and a panel opened. The way was blocked by a green mist. Krissi's eyes flickered. Jedit stared at the mist. "What is it?" "A rune... A sign that Ar-Pharazon has passed this way" Krissi said coldly. "What he used to keep you captive?" Goldberry asked. Krissi nodded. "Lucky I know how to dispell it... Stand back" Krissi held out her hands and spoke softly in an ancienct tongue. The mist dissolved and Krissi signaled to Jedit and her android. "Follow me and stay quiet" Krissi blocked her presence, along with that of Jedit. The three made their way passage. Krissi stopped at the shadows of the room. She could see Ar-Pharazon holding the child, with a small creature hovering near-by. Krissi winced, not knowing the intentions of it and not liking it so close to her child. Then her eyes fell on a woman. Krissi waved for Jedit and Goldberry to stay back, then crept into the room. She rose her hands, ready to throw Ar-Pharazon into the cavern wall, then stopped. Her hands dropped and her eyes teared up. She could not harm Ar-Pharazon without harming the child. She would not risk any harm to the child. The creature eyed Krissi and started making odd noises. Krissi's eyes burned with anger. Her voice was cold. "So, it appears I'm not the only woman you met is it AP?"

Krissi ran down the hall, Goldberry and Jedit trailling her. AP had used one of the secret passages and had seemingly disappeared. He had gone below the palace, to a place where darkness dwelt. He was still protected by the rune he put up. Krissi frantically searched the palace. He was nowhere. She fell to her knees and wept. Her gift was gone, taken by the same man who had given it. Goldberry placed a hand on her lady's shoulder. "We will find her Mistress, I promise" She said softly. Krissi looked at the android. Tears were pouring down her face. "I sense a great darkness near her, and I am afraid... She cries out and I am helpless to aid her... So help me if anything happens to her I will never forgive him" Krissi mourned softly. She touched the charm around her neck and sighed. She began to sing the lullaby, though she didn't think it would help. * * * Somewhere nearby, the child stopped crying. She could feel her mother's presence near by, and it gave some comfort to her. She seemed to draw herself into the blankets, listening to the lullaby. It was soothing. The child soon drifted to sleep in her father's arms. * * * Krissi looked up suddenly, her tears stopping. The child had heard her, and had been comforted. Krissi felt better. She rose to her feet. "We have to keep looking"

The door to the room swung open and Ar-Pharazon stood before Krissi. She took a deep breath and stood up. He smiled at her. "Good day Ar-Pharazon" "Hello Krissi" He strode into the room and the two stood facing each other. He placed a hand on her cheek and Krissi trembled. He leaned forward to kiss her and Krissi pulled back. AP gave her an odd look. "What Suddenly you seem shy..." He moved forward again and Krissi stepped back. She glared at him. "I think you know better then I do" AP's look went from surprised to slightly annoyed and frustrated. "I'm not in the mood for games woman, I have businees to attend to" "Then attend to it and leave me be" Krissi turned and walked toward the balcony. Ar-Pharazon grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him. He pressed his lips against hers passionately and Krissi sent her nails across his eyes. AP reeled back and Krissi hissed softly, her eyes flaring. The two stared at each other. "LEAVE ME" It slowly dawned on AP that Krissi was acting on her own will- she had never before objected to a pass, let alone reject it. He glared at her. "So... You know..." "Of course I know!" Krissi replied bitterly. Tears streamed down her face. "Did you think I was stupid?" "No-" "That I wouldn't figure it out?" "No, but-" "That is wouldn't effect me in any way?" Krissi's voice broke and she sobbed. She turned from him. Her eyes blazed with fire. "It almost killed me! It almost..." "Killed our child? Is that what you were going to say?" He growled. Krissi's eyes widened. He smirked. "Of course I know about the child- did you honestly think you could keep him from me?" Krissi laughed. "Him? You think I would give you a son?" AP glared at her. Krissi laughed. "I will never give you a son" "Perhaps not..." AP mused softly, "But I will see her" "NO!" Krissi clenched her fists. AP held his hand out, toward the walland it crumbled. Jedit stared wide eyed in shock. AP pulled him to the hand and began to choke him. Krissi cried out. "BRING HER TO ME" AP bellowed. Krissi looked down. Jedit sent her a force message. Don't... do it.... Krissi!... She looked at him, holding up her hand. She took a deep breath. "All right..." Krissi said softly. "I will bring her..." She turned and spoke to a guard in an ancient tongue. He looked at AP a moment, hesitating, then nodded and disappeared. Several minutes passed before Goldberry appeared with a small bundle. She walked to Krissi's side, looking warily at AP. Krissi took the child and went to AP's side, so that several inches separated. Ar-Pharazon stared at the sleeping child. He dropped a gasping Jedit on the floor, and Goldberry was quick to aid him. AP grabbed the force jewel and crushed it in his hand. Krissi glared at him. Then he took Evenstar from her arms. Krissi cried out and started towards him, but he threw Krissi to the ground. He started for the door. Goldberry stared at him, Jedit was glaring at his back. "NO!" Krissi rose to her feet and ran towards him. AP turned and threw her into the wall, cutting off her air supply. She put both hands to her throat and gasped. His eyes were cold. Jedit, realized that he was paralized by some odd manipulation of the force. Goldberry stood, but said nothing. Her eyes were said. "She only wants her child, after all you've done to her can't you give her that one thing" She asked, her voice full of emotion. AP glared at the android. She looked at him with no fear. "I could do many things to you droid... Yet... I find your courage and loyalty... Amusing... I will let her live" AP turned and nodded to Krissi. She dropped from the wall onto the floor. She was gasping for air and trembling. She looked up at him pitifully. He turned and walked out of the room. Krissi touched the charm on her neck, tears falling from her face. She began to sing softly the lullaby of her child. Now more than ever it sounded like a lament. Jedit covered his face and sighed. Goldberry helped Krissi to her feet, smiling gently. "We will get her back Mistress... I promise..." "Yes... We will" Krissi replied quietly. "No matter what the cost is"

The ground moaned and the earth shook as the gates felt the Sith rune appear. The place was not accostumed to dark spells, and after several mintues the gates shattered. the rune turned into a heavy mist, hovering above the ground. The earth stopped shaking and the land seemed content that the dark should dwell above it but not touch it. The mist provided a blood red gate that was impassible to all but those who could remove it. Inside the room the light faded and the sun hid its face. A darkness seemed to cover the land and the woman trembled. The child cried and Krissi sang softly, her sweet voice soothing the baby. She rocked the girl genlty and held her close. She could feel him drawing closer and closer to her. Goldberry entered, looking nervous. "Mistress, he has cast a rune on the gate!" "It was for that reason that the peace was disturbed... I should have known, a rune is one of his favorite devices. He uses it to contain, and in his mind, protect" Krissi said quietly. Eve stared up at her with wide blue eyes. Goldberry smiled at the child, then gave her lady an odd look. "Did he use it to hold you captive Mistress?" Krissi looked down, her captivity flashing before her eyes. She remained silent and gave the child to her trusted droid. She removed a gem from her pocket and placed it around the child's neck. Her eyes shimmered in the sunlight that had returned to its place. She looked at her android. "Take her to a safe place. This amulet will block her presence. She will be safe for the tiem being... Her father must never be alone with her- Please" "I will do as you ask Mistress, but I regret leaving you alone with him..." Goldberry quietly ducked out a secret door and ran down the path of the garden. Krissi felt Ar-Pharazon's presence very close and turned to the door. She took a seat, still trembling. She put on a solemn, emotionless look, and prepared for the meeting. It would prove to be an interesting one. Jedit was somewhere nearby and had been ordered to stay out of sight unless needed. Goldberry carefully made her way through the garden and out into the enchanted wood. She disappeared, knowing that Krissi could find them if needed. She stayed within the range of the palace guard, also knowing if she needed help she could call. She went to a cove of trees, where two of the guards met her. She made her way down a stairway and into a small haven made of tree roots. There she would be protected until the danger passed.

The weeks seemed to pass like days and soon Krissi was on her feet again- barely. Jedit was faithful and they kept talk of the child's father to a minimun. Krissi was aware of his presence, and the failure of Angel's plan. Since Ar-Pharazon probably felt Eve, Krissi made little effort to hide her- and why should she? What chance did she possibly have of keeping the child hidden from her father. He had numerous spies, and the two were forever bonded to the other. Krissi would rock her child to sleep, singing softly often. The melody was sad and beautiful- much like the child. Krissi called it The lullaby of Evenstar. As the child grew, she became more and more like her mother, which greatly relieved her mother. Krissi would walk through the garden with Jedit while the child slept, both in the day and at twilight. Nature had always seemed to comfort her. Then it happened. Krissi awoke and she felt his presence. It was very near, too close for comfort. The darkness drew closer and closer until it seemed he was outside the gates. Krissi trembled and went to her child's room. She gently lifted the child from her bed and held her close, singing to her. But this time the song was of little comfort- with him so close... The lullaby had been of the child's beginning and had told of the child's heritage, and of the saddness that would follow her forever... Krissi sat in a chair near the window, and light streamed in, surrounding both of them.

A soft wind blew through the trees and Krissi looked up. There was another presence there, something she wasn't familiar with. It seemed dark, but it wasn't after her. Krissi relaxed. She would watch what was said and leave it be. "Thank you for the gift. I promise she will treasure it always when she is older... I too have a gift, but she shall not be able to receive it until she is of age" Krissi smiled warmly at her child. The baby cried softly and Krissi suddenly blushed. "I'm afraid she's hungry... Excuse me" Goldberry and two servants lifted Krissi from the bed and onto a liter and escorted the woman and child into the other room. The child had her meal and then fell asleep in her mother's arms. Krissi kissed her forehead, taking in every detail. She did look like her father, but it wasn't obvious. It was the subtly that would keep her safe... Krissi smiled and sang in a soft voice. Here, alone with her child could she feel safe. Goldberry came in and again Krissi was brought into her room where her guests were. While she delighted in spending time with her daughter, she needed to be a hostess now. There was time for chatting later. Krissi smiled at Tarrian. "I wish you well Tarrian. May the force be with you"

Krissi looked at Tarrian warily, and her eyes were filled with sorrow. Her eyes fell on Jedit. We will talk later dear padawan, take your seat... Jedit did as he was told, still bewildered. Krissi looked at Tarrian, tears streaming down her face. "There is still hope... For you and your brother- my husband... but I do not see it... Not for now. Many years, yes... Many years... And after the light of Evenstar is cast from the earth..." Krissi looked down and became silent. Foreseeing the death of her child was not a pleasant thing. Krissi smiled at Tarrian. "I will let you see her... Goldberry! Please, bring the child!" Several moments passed before the android entered with a small bundle. She handed the child to Krissi, who beamed with pride. Her voice was soft. "Eve... my little evenstar...." She smiled up at Tarrian. "Here she is... Cast her image into your memory and when darkness falls about you remember her"

Krissi took a deep breath. She sensed a change in Tarrian. Perhaps she was not completely gone- there still might be a chance... A strange scene flashed before Krissi's eyes- Ar-Pharazon at a banquet, and Angel watching him from across the table, a cold smile on her face. Soon sister, soon... Krissi felt wary of her sister's intentions. Becareful... You do not know his power. Angel's voice came through loud and clear. Yes, but what good is he without his power? Laughter echoed through Krissi's mind and the vision faded. Krissi wondered about her sister's words, but remained silent. She looked at Tarrian. Krissi took a deep breath. "Tarrian, you are my sister-in-law. Below the temple of the Sith, I took secret vows... No one can ever know this other then Jedit and you. I beg of you to keep this hidden" Jedit's eyes nearly popped out of his head, but he stayed silent. Krissi cast him a mournful look. "I was tricked into marrying him, under the influence of dark crystals that nearly took my life... And the life of our child... She is here... She is safe. But he can not know- he can never know.... Promise me! Keep her secret, keep her safe"
