  1. Lotus calmly looked at the man, curious as to his intentions. He didn't say anything at first, but it appeared he was quite willing to use brute force to take Ads with him, if required. If he was indeed from the Alliance he wouldn't have been so willing and so quick to use such aggressive means. He had to be either a normal bounty hunter or an Imperial agent. The Jedi knight casually waved his hand, as if dismissing the man. In an instant the barrel of his weapon curled downwards as if it was melting. With another motion from one of his fingers, the cigarette snapped in half with the lit end falling to the ground. ”œThose are bad for your health; leave now.”
  2. Lotus noticed the differences in the two men's lives as well as the casual assumptions made by Eric. "Release your past, it will prepare you for the future. This life is a difficult one...release all your past and free yourself of all thought." Lotus wasn't sure if they could achieve such a state, but it would make it easier to touch the force if they could. Once in such a state, they would feel it's gentle currents like a barely there wind. The more adept they became at touching it, the better they'd feel the wind that was the force.
  3. Lotus felt the man's eager nature to begin his training; whispers of it came to him through the force. He motioned for both of them to take a seat on the floor, in the center of it, next to each other. ”œI want you both to focus your minds, but do not clear them of thought. Pull up the memories of your past so they are in the forefront of your mind, I will know when you continue”¦”
  4. Apollo looked between the two, merely smiling rather then letting any of his thoughts about the two escape. Only time would tell how suitable they would be for the Jedi lifestyle, but for now he would offer each of them training that would test their devotion and weather them for the life they were about to adapt to. ”œI can train both of you, though Eric I must ask you what sort of skills you have and how you would like to go about living the life of a Jedi.”
  5. Lotus listened as Ads finished speaking, and then glanced at the new arrival. He offered the tall figure a smile and motioned for him to join Ads and him as they walked down the hallways. ”œYes, I am Ads”¦If you wish to have me as your Master.”
  6. The man displayed no emotion as he would expect from such an old hopeful. He had seen countless figures come with a hop in their step, overjoyed at the possibility of becoming a Jedi. Lotus has also met several that were angry of being sent to the place. They were younger, around the age of ten and had been forced to come to the Jedi by their parents. None of them had made it past the first month of training. ”œI am Maroon Lotus, Jedi Guardian.”
  7. Lotus quietly observes the sudden influx of Jedi and Jedi hopefuls. He could feel their signatures in the force, none of them above the rank of Jedi Knight and one of them having a slightly deeper connection to the force then most hopefuls would have. He was the most recent arrival to come to the Eternal Vigilance, with a man by the name of Xodus being the first to disturb his meditations. The long forgotten Jedi Knight stood up, his pale fingers grazing the weapon on his hip as he stood there in quiet contemplation, deciphering what the force had been whispering in his ear for weeks now. The time had come for him to take on another apprentice. Silently the Jedi moved out of his personal chambers and into the nearly vacant hallways of the station. He arrives in the Hanger just in time to see a young man disembark a ship and look around. Lotus's violet eyes gazed upon the hopeful with a neutral expression, his staff saber visible at his side. "Welcome to the Eternal Vigilance."

  9. Lotus swooped out of his cover wearing a specially designed pair of goggles. They were built to protect his eyes from blinding blasts of light. Being that he was in front of the squad he was just outside the range of the dreadful beast that had the ability to null the force. He thrust both of his arms out, one throwing a frag grenade into the center of the troops, the second flinging a flash cube into their mist. The cube exploded in the air in front of them, some of them would suffer much less”¦but the front most would suffer from substantially, if they weren't wearing protective goggles that is. Even still the grenade would distract them long enough as he scooped up Kautra and shuffled him over his shoulder, motioning for the other man with him to follow. The door across the hall opened with a flicker of his hand, allowing the trio to pass threw it. With his free hand he ignited his violet saber and jammed it into the door controls, forcing it to close. He knew that meant little when the troops could just blast through it, but it would still give them a bit of a head start. ”œMy ship has a Bacta tank in the med-bay, we have to make it to the hanger.”
  10. Lotus raised an eyebrow, gazing curiously at the weapons used by the other hopeful. He turned his attention to Scorpio when he spoke, giving the man the respect he deserved. He nodded his head lightly when he finished speaking. ”œHold on a second, please”¦”
  11. Lotus stopped the hopeful at the door, motioning for him to lay Orsi down on the ground. The Jedi moved over, squatting down so that his knees jutted outwards as he scanned over the others wounds. He extended his hand, first focusing on the pain that the other would be feeling. He flexed his finger muscles and lifted his hand from the man's body. Like a moth was drawn to the flame, the pain was drawn out of him and into the force. ”œYou're an aggressive fighter; I felt your surge of anger as well. We will have to work on that. Tell me what sort of experience you've gained concerning the force while you've been here, anything you know about his”¦”
  12. The Static Angel dropped out of hyperspace above the watery planet. The Ace pilot wasted no time in descending as his ship transmitted his codes to the ”˜base.' It had been a long time since he had heard from any of his former padawans and he thought it time to test the waters and see if he was ready to take on another. He trusted the force would draw him towards one of the hopefuls if it was meant to be, but if it was not then he would finish construction on his newest lightsaber. His ship docked with The Eternal Vigilance and he went through the procedure of shutting the various systems down. His ship was due for a few modifications, or at least some basic maintenance. He moved through the center in quiet contemplation. He could feel the presence of a few young students of the force and one with a bit more experience so he decided to move towards them. His hair was short and jet black, his eyes carried a wisdom and understanding beyond his years, but his clothes were far from the normal Jedi attire. His pants were a dark, forest green and baggy. Not for style, but in case he was drawn into combat they would keep any wounds from being tossed about to a minimum save for the most gruesome of hits. He wore a simple loose fitting white shirt and did not have any weapons on his person. His lightsaber had been destroyed along with his life over Cardia and he was still in the process of tinkering with his new one. The thought of his actions over Cardia brought up a welling of guilt that he struggled to suppress. This was not the time to deal with such things after all. He stood in the doorway watching the Trio, taking in the words of the last one. He couldn't help but grin a bit at the comment, he would soon learn otherwise though so it did not worry Lotus that the figure thought that way. At least, not at this point, as it was when one heard a Jedi knight saying such things that it would make him worry.

The bulky container of fluid held within it a man. His body had reached maturity, yet he lacked the key component that would gift him with true life. He was created without a soul, a simple clone destined to live out his life out assisting the Jedi in any way he could. At least, that was to be his fate”¦until a wandering Spirit happened across the form. The disembodied Jedi was nothing more then a chill down another's spine or a full body shiver. Lotus watched the floating form. His short black hair slowly swayed to and fro in the thick liquid. His limbs just sort of stayed in the same spot, only moving slightly every now and then. The figure's head was lowered and his eyes closed. With a probe of the force Lotus was able to discover what this ones purpose would be. Shaking his head to and fro slowly he drifted forward, anchoring his self to the body. __ The cloning tube began to drain slowly. The thick liquid dripped off of the firm body of the man as the cloning technicians moved forward and lifted him out of the tube. They pulled the breathing mask off and he took his first gasp of fresh air, filling his lungs with the sterile scent of the faculties. The trio of men moved him into the showers, turning them on and leaving him be. The cold water rushed over him and acted as a shock to his system, bringing him to full alert. He proceeded to wash himself off then moved out to dry himself off. There were a little bit of clothes left out for him so he slipped into them and slowly made his way to the hanger bay. He couldn't stay in this place; he had to find an area of solitude to meditate on what he had gone through. Since he had to seek out a new crystal as well he decided that Ilum would be the ideal local for him to take up residence in for a while. After a few minutes of searching he found himself a shuttle and was off.

Pain rushed through Lotus's nerve endings, it was unlike anything his body had ever experienced before. Yet, so was everything that had happened in the last twenty minutes. The evil being within had ripped control of his very own body away from Maroon and committed such horrors, all while he struggled and fought against it. He couldn't sit idly by while this being killed other Soldiers and attacked Jedi Knights. Though, try as he might he was unable to pull control back into himself. Now, hopefully, since he had lost his hands the thing would leave him. A gentle tug upon the soft tendrils of the force was felt. At first, he didn't know what the dark entity was up too, and even as the pull began to constrict around his chest he was still unsure. Was this thing trying to crush him before leaving? Was it really so twisted and evil that it wouldn't be gone from his body until it was so utterly useless that his only hope, his only salvation would be at the hands of death and letting his spirit enter the force. All at once Lotus's body began to spasm and twist uncontrollably, his neck moving dangerously close to Starlisk's blade. The heat that came off of the weapon was unbearable, but the gut wrenching pain that was filling the pit of his gut was worse. He knew what the thing was doing now, he also knew that there was no return from where he would be cast out too. A souless being could not enter the force, they could not return to a cloned body...Then the pure, dark power that came from one exchanging their most precious possession for power came. His soul gone, his power immense the wrath reached out and ripped both of the others into the air, a tidal wave of the force bringing everything in the hall way towards one point.. Click Beep Through the force the trio would see the thing leaving Lotus at the last possible second, the last charge that had been under his robes set to blow. Lotus's eyes stared into Starlisk's, his sorrow was apparent. This, this destruction was all his fault...He should have been able to fight the thing back, force it out of his body, but he was unable too. In the second between the first beep and the second he closed his eyes and let go. It was all that was left to do as the fiery explosion overcame his body, ripping through the ships hallway and center. ((If you guys have a feasable way to get out of this, then post it by all means, if not...Then yeah...Also note, earlier I had posted heading towards the bridge, so this explosion will effect the actual bridge itself At least a little bit. I'll give you enough respect, Ian, to post the damage accordingly.))

(( So you don't point out the few part, I define that as anywhere between two and twelve. You are a smart person Ian, The difference between Fleet battles and scuttling is what makes this possible. Be lucky that this ship is not scuttled as I did one of Geki's, totally destroying it. If this were a duel for the Fleets, I'd wait till the end of the duel...but it isn't. ZEROForceSilver: In this case, you could say- post destroying engines and defensive systems for example ZEROForceSilver: and maybe put out a hull breach or two Prophet sk: Alright There is the post, and the okay to Scuttle. This is also my third post since posting that. You know what that means...Damon..Just because you don't see a weapon in a year in and a half doesn't make it any less useful to one side or another, Dagon just had the forethought to send another Sith out to get some of them. I've yet to see this disrespect he has for the board and other Rp'ers, because as it appears everyone always attacks him first, he just defends himself. Is it that hard to see that a dark side entity can get out of a body just as easily as it got in? AT least he had the respect not to post damage ont he Flag ship...Me on the other hand? At the end of this post you will have legally lost your engines, defensive systems..and have a few hull breaches, all legal mind you. Now, on to the post...Since I Can't seem to get a One V one duel and have to deal with Starlisk too, wee.)) Lotus did not enjoy being pushed back by a defensive fighter, but he allowed it so he could read more into Sabians tactics and get a better outline of the best way to assault him. He could feel the Master behind him stirring, getting ready to strike. This would complicate things greatly, but he would have to deal with it. Time ticking away with each passing second. A twisted smile crossed his thin lips as he sprang up into the air, his calves, back and hair touched the ceiling of the hallway as the crate flew past him and towards Sabian himself. As he dropped to the ground he twisted around, deflecting a blow from Starlisk. The force flowed through his veins, increasing and strengthen his every movement. He was having to move much quicker then before now, so he decided to even the playing field. His left hand shot into the air, a lightsaber hilt springing from beneath his cloak. At the same time the yellow blade ignited to accent his glowing orange one, the dull blue cloak fell away. His twin blades ripping the hallway just outside the room they began in apart. He might be a form VI fighter, but that form was a lot less capable with two lightsabers and he didn't want the other to have the advantage of room to work with. As he turned to deflect one blow and strike out with the other weapon, the entire Ship was rocked. He knew what it was, the other two could only assume. Various points on the ship were blown apart killing men, destroying supplies, but worst of all it ripped through the systems. The engines and defenses systems suffered the worst from the attack, but they would also have to seal off the hull breaches. Those wouldn't be much of a problem...If the defense systems hadn't gone down. Those would provide bulls eyes for any Imps doing a run, as the hull was already weakened there and they would be able to slam a torpedo home with ease. "Oh my..." The hallway they were in suffered as well, various things from the walls falling down. Of course, it wouldn't have suffered so badly if all the things weren't already loose from the fight to begin with. In the following seconds he pressed forward, towards Sabian. Both of his sabers clashing against the other figures, just as Starlisk was coming up behind him to rejoin the duel...Lotus sprang up and over Sabians head and began to push him back towards Starlisk. Not only would it be too dangerous for the two of them to both attack and defend against him in this position, but he was also the physical aggressor in this bout now.

Lotus turned to face Starlisk when he spoke of Demeanor. He was about to reply when the others comm interrupted. The young Jedi knight nodded his head towards the Admirals hand, hoping Sabian would not this and take it in the wrong manner. In one swift motion, the knight's left hand rose up and the force rushed outwards, shoving the Jedi Master into the Durasteel wall behind him. Whether it knocked him out, or only briefly stunned him he did not know, but he had to act quickly now. He pulled out the control in his pocket, hitting the arming sequence. A beep was heard, but the others wouldn't know what it was for. In less then a minute all the det charges he set would go off, ripping various parts of the ship to shreds. The orange glow of his lightsaber filled the room as a crimson flash crossed his eyes, he cut down the first two troops then deflected the blaster bolts from the other two. One of the bolts returned home, firing the mans skull. The other hit the wall in a random shot as Lotus took of the mans head. In the end all that remained was Sabian, Lotus and the Admiral, but for now only Sabian would be a threat. "Opps...did I do that?" With that he lunged at the man, saber in hand as he brought it down in the first of an onslaught of attacks. Maroon was a heavy form IV fighter and even in these tight confines it showed through. He had practiced long and hard with the weapon, almost completely mastering the form...Finally his skills would be put to use, rather then idly sitting about waiting for something to happen.

"No...Not at all.." His voice was faint as he looked at the man, blinking once or twice as he looked about the room. His answer was in response to the question asking if he was hurt, he didn't answer the other two questions out right though. He kept his hands firmly placed on his hips as he lightly shaded hair moved back and forth with his head. He could feel the various disturbances in the force all around him as he turned his gaze to Sabian. "They were killed." He was blunt, to the point with his reply. Something was slightly amiss, perhaps Lotus had been spending to much time around the other soldiers, but a Jedi shouldn't state such a thing about his comrades without any sort of emotion. The Jedi Knight cast his glance towards the door, almost as if he was expecting someone that was late, but neither of them could feel anyone approaching through the force. An oddity indeed. "What are these dark entities?"

((I'm a bit more cunning with my use of the force..recognize you are a master. Also just a note, I was on the same ship as Damon...Which isn't the flag ship. I'll roll with this I guess though )) Lotus stopped dead in the hallway, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. The admiral was moving towards him, it would seem that despite his best efforts he had been detected already. He let out an audible sigh before letting his eyes scan over the hallway walls. A smile formed on his thin lips as he picked out a ventilation duct. Raising his hand, the screws twisted free allowing him to spring up and slip into it, another wave of the force replacing the opening. With another manipulation of the force, his presence vanished. Placing his hands on the side of the vent, he propelled himself forward at an alarming rate. He was unsure of how long he had been propelling himself forward, but soon he came to another vent. He stopped, looking through the small openings to see what was inside the room. No one. It was a janitors closet. He maneuvered himself around, kicking out the vent and jumping down. ((Since I am not on Damon's ship, this one isn't locked down)) Opening the door he quickly slipped out and into the hallway. He pulled up his hood and leaned his head down as he moved towards the armory. His trip was a short one and with a few manipulations of the force the man that made documented notes of everyone who picked up a weapon was asleep. The twisted Jedi grabbed a few light weight, yet powerful detonation packs and was off again, but not before arming one and hiding it away inside the armory itself. Leaving one in various spots he made his way towards the bridge, but before arriving he opened himself to the force a bit. He could feel one lone force user meditating in a room not to far away. Another smile crossed his lips as he moved into the room, looking down upon Sabian. "Sabian...What is happening here?"

Lotus had been moving towards his ship, preparing it for launch just before what would surely be one of the greatest battles in recent history. The Jedi had come up with quite the plan, even though he was unsure how the other portions of it was progressing it was pleasing to know that the Imperial fleet was not here at Cardia. It was as he was slipping on his helmet that the ship was rocked, almost sending him tumbling to the ground. Not sure what had happened he jumped up, moving to the built in comm in the wall. "What is going on!?" The reply came, but was filled with static. A young officer informed him that the Empire had arrived, hitting them with a net bomb and locking them into place. There was nothing they could do but sit and wait now, things had just taken a horrible turn for the worse. The Empire could slaughter them now, they were sitting ducks. No comms in or out...He could only hope that the other parts of the operation were doing better. Lotus's head shot up, he felt something behind him... Spinning his heel he drew his azure blade, preparing to defend himself against a Sith boarding boarder of monstrous proportions, but there was nothing. A huge wave of darkness washed over the ship all at once, the pilots scurrying about did not notice the Jedi turned Alliance pilot fall to the ground clutching his head. His lightsaber fell down, clattering away from him as a dark entity tried to forcefully take over his body. He tried to call out to the light side to expel this brutal being, but the only thing his mind could wrap itself around was a reflective pool of water with a thick, oozing shadow seeping into it. Like oil polluting water it spread. The Jedi knight let out a few mumbled, incoherent words. The mans nails began to dig into his armor, blood dripping out as the nails were ripped backwards from the strength of the armor and the pressure he was putting on them. He didn't notice the doors slam shut, but at the same time he pulled his hands back. The pain was nothing to him as his eyes took on a darker shade. Instantly the darkness in his aura was concealed in the force, pulling the power into himself as he looked around. Closing his eyes, he stretched out with what little light energy he could muster and ripped the plugs from every Camera in the hanger. Such a thing was not easy and took well over a few minutes, but the bridge would not know what was happening regardless. Cracking his neck he called his lightsaber to him, watching it shoot through the air and ignite as he closed his grip around it. Moving towards the door he plunged his weapon into it, cutting through it with ease. With a simple manipulation of the force, the heated metal was out of his way and on the ground. The soldiers, pilots, and technicians behind him cheered and began moving towards the opening, but stopped when he held up his hand. "Can you taste it? The Death all around us?" Stepping through the opening as the Allaiance figures all looked on in confusion, he waved his hand once more...A shard of metal was sent flying into the hanger controls. They were destroyed, the vacuum of space sucking every thing in the hanger into space, killing them quickly. A security door slammed down protecting Lotus as he moved through the ship, sending a comm to Damon. "One of the crew members just went crazy, he destroyed the hanger controls just as I was cutting a hole in the door to get out of there...What is going on!?"
  20. ((Just a note Admiral. Not all of us have experience with how Military factions work, ranks, or anything else..so if we slip up from time to time, try to let it slide )) Lotus had found a private chamber to meditate in and center himself a while ago. He had returned from the mission set before him, they had not met up with the convey. It must have slipped through their fingers, or perhaps even their information was bad. He was pulled out of the force by blaring alarms; the station was on alert now. Standing up, the Jedi knight checked the weapon at his side and moved into the hallway. His eyes scanned the area around him, catching a man that seemed to be approaching him at a rather brisk pace. Maroon moved towards him and accepted the datapad that he was handed. It informed him of the room he should head too. 1B. In less then four minutes he made it to the room and entered it. He nodded to the few people already in the room. He took a seat and waited..
  21. Lotus nodded his head, knowing what he was to do now that the meeting was over. He quickly moved towards the hanger and boarded a transport to the proper ship. Once everything was set he moved to find the commander in charge of the mission as from what he had heard the admiral had something important come up and had to pull out at the last second. "Sir, Maroon Lotus reporting. I'm ready when you are." ((sorreh about how long it took, forgot to check this thread ))
  22. Lotus settled into the cockpit of the simulator. A new group of recruits had arrived at roughly the same time as him and he decided that he wanted to break a few of them in. He had found a room for himself already, changing into the Republic pilot's uniform laid out for him. He had opted to leave his lightsaber in his room as he was quite capable without it and he didn't want to intimidate anyone he would be working with on accident. He fired up the E-wing after slipping his helmet on. The games had began. He was flying a solo scout mission, six fighters in groups of three would be opposing him. Things started off simple enough as he moved towards his final destination. The only scanners he had active were his passive ones, just a precaution to keep them from picking up on him sooner then he wished. This would prove to be more difficult then it was normally, as he could not use the force in the same ways he could in a real snub fighter. He let the force wash over him, falling back into it and letting it guide his hands as the first group of three came into sight. His lithe, yet pale fingers moved over the controls quicker then most sentient beings could follow. His ships systems burst into life as he rocketed forward, lighting up the left wingman and taking him out quickly. He didn't wish to toy with them, or waste any time as time wasted could mean the difference between failure and success. The other two ships up, one moving to the left and the other to the right in an effort to lure him away from one so the other could get him. Lotus guided his ship to the left and flipped on his concussion missile targeting system. The fighter before him juked to and fro trying to prevent a lock on from being accomplished, but in the end he failed and was taken out just as his wing man had been. Three more blips appeared on his screen as the other group came into range. The last man from the first group was on his tail and if he didn't do something soon would take him out. Maroon pulled back on his stick, forcing the ship into a tight upward flip. When his ship leveled out he could practicly look into the eyes of the other pilot as he opened fire with his laser cannons. Another one down. Suddenly a violent shake was sent through his ship as another one of the pilots tried to light him up. Letting the force take control he dived downwards, leading them on a wild goose chase. He sat a timer on one of his missiles and let it drop into space, floating dead. Just as the other three neared it, it detonated taking one out with it. The resulting explosion of Red 2 took out Red 3, leaving only one. The concussive blast had surely blinded him if only briefly. Taking advantage of this Lotus maneuvered around behind him and took him out quickly. The space around him evaporated into the sim as the hatch to his ships cockpit opened up. A roar of applause could be heard as he stepped out, it would seem that he had impressed a few of the newer guys. He cast them a grin and began to speak up, his voice oozing charisma. "Like that did you? Bit of practice and you could do the same thing, just make sure you are hitting up the imperials and not our guys." Winking he slipped out of the room and into the hallway. As he made his way through the base he happened to catch sight of a report on the holonet. It said something about a Jedi and the Rebels attacking Ryloth. This couldn't be true, he knew it couldn't be true. Without a second thought he searched out the Admiral through the force and moved towards him. Only a few seconds after he started though he found out he was to head towards the briefing room. His course was changed once more and he moved towards the briefing room..
  23. Lotus nodded his head in agreement, thankful that the man had accepted him with open arms. He folded his arms behind his back and bowed towards Starlisk as he asked for the pair to excuse him. It would appear he had other business to attend to. He waited for the commander to run his background and get everything finished. It didn't take long before everything was complete and he was on his way out. He followed the directions the commander had given him, quickly arriving at the flight simulators. He looked over the various sims and quickly decided to begin his practice in am E-wing. He hadn't flown one of those in quite a long time and it would be good to get back behind the controls. He slipped inside and fired it up, quickly getting started.
