Mari gave her new padawan some room. "Another thing to keep in mind," she said. "The Force can be used for more than just weapons. The lightsaber is an effect tool, but your mind is more effective."

"Jedi do not boast of their skill," Mari admonished. She spun around and Force pushed him into the barrier.

OOC: Sorry about the delay, work. Gotta love it. IC: Mari circled Skywalker, sizing him up. "I'll let you have the first move," she said.

"Why, padawan, I thought you'd never ask." She finds a clear area and ignites her blade.

Mari enters the dueling area and leans against the wall, watching.

Mari suddenly shivered. "We must leave here. The Jedi need us."

"It looks almost like a cat," Mari said, coming up behind WJ. "I had a cat once, a sweet little thing almost completely black, except for a few splotches of white on the face and paws." She smiled, remembering the days before.

Mari nodded. "Let's see if there are any survivors up there.'

Mari's eyes are wet as she steps down from the ship. Her eyes are unfocused as her Force sense feels out the carnage of the dead. "Let us do what we can."
