  1. "The Council has desolved and has been in a shambles for quite a while now. It would have been impossible to keep tabs on everything that went on. Shoot, look at me, I've been trying to get trained for a long time now, but haven't been able to. But now the council is reformed, and the structure of the order restored, things will fall back into place before long, I'd guess."
  2. Vrean faced his master again. "She is an upstanding member of the order, probably one of the most loyal. The fact that she hid her membership is trivial. She was otherwise occupied in the Rebellon and neednt be a greater target than she already was. The sith don't know about her; She could be a great asset to us, because of the choices she has made. We are in sore need of advantages, as far as I can tell." Vrean hoped he wasnt out of line, spouting off his opinion to superiors, but he felt it needed to be said.
  3. Vrean managed to wander back inside to hear his master's proposal of tracking each Jedi, surely he was jesting such a proposal was incomprehensible and, no matter how it was looked upon, violated each member of the order's buisness. "Hey, uh, master? If I may interject; such a thing would be more of a danger, provided that someone who could access the system turned, every Jedi in the galaxy would be compromised. The best way to assure against them turning is proper training and giving everyone a voice in the order. If they turn, and we persue them, what would we do with them? Kill them, for turning? Turn them back? If they turned, they had a reason, to them, a good one. They think what they did was right. Given proper training, they will know better, and eliminate that need for tracking devices. As for knowing the location, What is wrong with having them check in once in a while?" He turned his head and shrugged, then faced away. "I'm just a lowly apprentice, but that does not change the problem, or what it is going to take to fix it..."
  4. Vrean, Following shortly after Master Hou-jo, Set his ship down not far away. He pulled his weapons belts on, but left his cloak. it looked warm enough. As his feet hit surface of the planet, the rocky surface crunched slightly. he moved about, testing the surface. He wondered what was holding up Hou-jo, but he was content to mill about until his master saw fit to get out of his ship.
  5. "Youve got it." Vrean cranked up the range on his instruments to be sure he would get the jump on any approaching craft. He hadnt thought about that... He guessed that was something that came with being hunted for so long.
  6. Vrean pulled off his VR gear when the comm bussed. Setting down his weapons, he made his way back to the cabin. He hit the comm button. "Hear what? Oh, the Jedi? Yeah, they've been airing that for a little while now. pretty sad if things can get that bad..."

    Ilum

Vrean opened an encryped comm to Hou-jo "Lets get out of here then Rendezvous at the projected coordanates..." They punched their hyperdrives and was gone.

    Ilum

Vrean, hearing Hou-jo's mental instruction, shortly after the cave floor had rocked with something of immense power, began jogging down the corridor, trusting his feelings as to where he should go. After a short time and many abrupt turns through the cave, he saw daylight. He pulled his archaic .40 cal Glock and stayed just inside the cave. He pulled his wrist up and keyed his access code to remotely access his ship. He powered it up, raising shields and weapons, in case it was noticed. He programmed a course to the present entrance. As the ship lifted off, it projected an electronic cover, of sorts, designed to keep even the most sophisticated radar equipment from locating it. as the ship approached, Vrean readied himself and entered the ship. As soon as he hit the pilots chair, he gunned the YT-2400's powerful engines and rocketed into orbit. Watching his display, there were no ships in persuit.

    Ilum

((Before the action started...)) Vrean headed into the depths of the frosty cave, His senses peaked, His energies focused. As he strode deeper into the cave, his glowrod casting a pale yellowish light on the walls. The ice reflected the beams of light, casting brilliant light throughout the cave, much beyond what a glowrod could usually produce.
  10. Vrean checked his wounds, they were nearly healed, due to the bacta patch he had applied, "Come Vrean, we are going to the temple on Ilum" Vrean shrugged "Youre the boss"
  11. As his vision was obscured in a flash of color, vrean, still grinning, sarcastically made a query. "How about we continue this on myrkr?" He felt the sharp sting of a remote's blast. "What the hell is going on!" Vrean whirled, his vision still obscured. A hint of panic ran across him as the he was stung twice, in rapid sucession. The remotes hissing and popping, along with the stinging blasts of energy gave them away. His sight gone, he had to rely on hearing, He concentrated, and as the sounds of the remotes changed, he made quick movements to avoid being hit. He continued listening, with his ears at first, then something deeper. Soon he was dodging the bolts generally easy, and got the programmed movement patterns down. He pulled His other saber from his belt and the blade sprung to life. He twirled it backward, deflecting the bolts into the ground. In mid twirl, he switched hands, and deflected another barrage from the second remote while dodging the third's attacks It was a good workout and let him work with the blade, his movements blurred to onlookers, Finally he snatched out with his left hand while deflecting the bolts with right, and caught a remote. The ball jerked and wrenched, repulsors blasing, trying to escape, He hurled the sphere toward another and they collided, both falling to the ground, deactivated, The remaining remote, as it twitched in the air evaded his blade as he slashed for it, even with his augmented speed and awareness, it was almost as though he could see it. the cycling colors made it much harder to focus than if it had been purely dark, but he was doing alright. He invisioned a dense wall of thick air around the remote, holding it down, suddenly he slashed toward it with the saber, cleaving it in two
  12. Vrean quickly shrouded his thoughts and delivered a powerful kick Hou-jos saber hilt, sending it flipping through the air and used the exess energy to twirl and delever a hard punch to the more experienced Jedi's middle, lifting him several inches into the air, and sending him reeling. A quick jerk of his other hand and he had his dl-44 pointed directly at the Jedi's head. "Bang" Vrean grinned as he lowered the sidearm. "Well, It appears you have a the terrible syndrome of the overconfedent Jedi, there are more ways to do things, I like to think one must be strong without the force; for one must not leave himself totally vulnurable when the force is stripped from him, or when he is surprised."
  13. Vrean's leg stung as the blade seared through his flesh, but he quickly pushed the pain away and continued his flashy form IV style, his blade flourishing as much as actually trying to inflict damage, Clearly this was not doing any good, other than the young padawans watching in awe as the emerald blade buzzed through the air. Their sabers clashed repeatedly as they sparred. At the spur of a moment, He lurched forward and attempted to grasp the wrist of the other, But he surely failed, as the Force was augmenting the Jedi's reflexes. He whipped the saber around abouve his head and Changed his routine to Form V, The form he had most recently been practicing, and also that which he had honed the least.
  14. Vrean quickly unhooked the saber from his belt and igited it while facing the emitter down. The blades crackled as it intersected the other. Hou-jo let go with another powerful swing toward his head. Vrean raised his hands and slightly tilted to the right, again intersecting the blade. Hou-jo's Powerful Form V attacks failed upon the smooth and conservative movements of his saber. He continued his fluid movements, efficiently blocking the attacks. "What I really need is Form II and VII, In these war torn times, Its easy enough to deflect blaster bolts." Vrean commented as he switched to Form IV, Pressing his attack on his master, Showing the extent of his studies, Although studies were no match for real world experience.
  15. Vrean stumbled backward in surprise at the sudden pain, He wondered if Hou-Jo might make a better Sith than Jedi as the world went dark. He heard the words spoken to him, and relaxed, telling himself that the pain did not matter, it did not effect him. Slowly It ebbed, until it ceased, he began to rise, but suddenly it pulsed back, causing him to collapse again. His concentration appeared to have been what kept it at bay. He again slipped into the light meditative state and pushed the discomfort from his body. He rose to his knees and then his feet, Finally, he stared into Hou-Jo's eyes. The pain began to surface again, but he pushed it back, letting it dissipate into the force. "Crucitorn, okay..."
