  1. Transmitting from an undisclosed location, a pre-recorded message was broadcasted over holonet. The image was simply that of a young female Gungan clothed in Jedi robes. Her at first appeared emotionless, but closer analysis would reveal that much nervousness was running through her mind... The humble Gungan spoke in her mild-mannered voice, "Members of the Galactic populace, I -Sayn Ta- have come before you to formally renounce my vows to the Jedi Order. Many of you might be suprised, and I assure you that I came to this decision after much interal debate. Leaving the Jedi Order is never something I wanted to happen. However, one can only blind themselves to reality for so long. The unfortunate truth is that it is the Order itself that has strayed from the Jedi Code, not I. The Jedi are no longer a peaceful organization that fans the flames of hope and justice thoughout the Galaxy. Rather, they have strayed from the Lightside, positioning themselves as nothing more than an alternative to the Sith. Arrogance, and not knowledge, govern their actions. They, along with the Alliance, have become complacent: they oppose the Empire not because of their ideals, but because it gives them a crutch for power. I consider myself an orthodox Lighsider, one of the few true Jedi left. I will never abandon my calling to serve the greater good. The Force was given to me as a gift, and I will continue to use this gift to serve the greater good. However, I refuse to serve such corrupt institutions as the Jedi Order and the Rebel Alliance. I urge others to follow my lead. The trillions of citizens in the Galaxy should not be pawns in the war of Evil vs. Corrupt. It is time to truly spread the Lightside of the Force. It is time to live without fear."

    Naboo

The peaceful, quiet forest of Naboo lay undisturbed, save for a few brustling of leaves by the planet's diverse fauna. The land was spotted with lakes, where ducks peacefully swam and raised their young. Everything seemed at ease, harmonious and quiet... But below those very lakes, it was quite the opposite. Horns tooted and children squeeled. A party was underway...and Gungan parties were always the best! The catalyst for the jubilation was the swearing in of a new government position. The Bosses of the Gungan Council had finally come to realize the isolationist nation's ever increasing involvement in Galactic affairs. Thus, they had decided to create the office of Lord Protector. The Protector would speak on the Gungan Nation's behalf, represent the species interests in Galactic policy, and (most importantly) serve as a guardian to the honorable species. The question over who was best qualified to take on these responsibilities caused much debate amongst the Gungans. They needed someone who was deeply commited to peace...but would not tolerate injustice. Someone who understood the importance of preserving Gungan culture...but could represent that intrest on a Galactic scale. Someone who was skilled in diplomacy...but could handlethemselves in combat. They found that person in Sayn Ta. Ta was not only a young female Gungan, she was also a former Jedi. After her death, a newly cloned Sayn Ta realized the Jedi weren't the institution that shared the same vision for the Galaxy that she did. After much internal debate, Sayn renounced her vows as a Jedi Knight and returned home to Otoh Gunga. Her return, however, took the community by suprise. They needed someone who understood both Gungan and Galactic culture. Thus, when looking for a Galactic liason, Sayn was an obvious choice. For the ex-Jedi, it was the perfect proffession. She could embrace her deeply beloved homeland, be a figurehead in Galactic affairs, and continue promoting the Lightside of the Force all at the same time. It was unquestioned that this was Sayn Ta's path....her calling....her destiny. And she couldn't have been happier to fullfill it. With a newly constructed lightsaber clipped to her belt, a joyfulll Sayn Ta smiled broadly as she was sworn in the Gungan Nation's first Lady Protector. After reciting her oath, Sayn recieved a big hug from the top Boss and an even bigger cheer from a crowd of celebratory Gungans. Grinning from floppy purple ear to floppy purple ear, Sayn Ta addressed the cheerful crowd. "My fellow Gungans, I stand here today not as a Jedi, but as one of you! I understand your needs and concerns, and I promise to you today that as Lady Protector I will never stop fighting for the rights and liberties of us Gungans!" The crowd cheered, clapped, and whaled wildly. What a joyous day in Otoh Gunga it was!
  3. Sayn, who was apparently unconscious, woke up in her hoding area. She would not let some thugh 'hunt' her. She slowly let herself slip away into the Force. She would die, but join with the Force in the process. Suddenly Sayn't body disappeared. Only her clothing remained where she was.
  4. Sayn Ta shook her throbbing head as she stood up on the Forest Moon's floor. She instantly cursed as she realized her surroundings. The Gungan Jedi Knight had puposefully not landed on the hostile planet. The Viet-Wok were well known savages. If she and her Padawan were to survive, they would need to find a way off planet-quick! Wait. Her Padawan? Her Padawan!!! Sayn looked over to her right and saw a heap of metal that used to be the Freedom Express. Tears swelled in the purple Gungan's eyes as she realized that she could no longer feel the life presence of Dino. Her Padawan's life had been ended...and it was the fault of her attacker. Her attacker. Sayn looked over at the man who was a few meters away. He had burst into her ship out of no where. And for what? Because some gangster had put a price on her head? Wait, the Hutts had returned to the Galaxy? The Gungan realized she must warn the Galaxy. Sayn Ta, the mild-mannered and respected Jedi Knight, would not tolerate this. First, she was attacked on her own ship. Then, the deranged Ewoks shoot down that ship. And now her Padawan was dead. Whats more, the Communists and the Bounty Hunter were now threatening her life. Sayn watched as the Assasin tried to negotiate with the Endorian Captors. Jedi Ta had researched the planet enough in the Jed Archives to know that their was no discussion with the natives. Only death. The female Knight didn't want to be around to see that. The odds might be against her, but she still had the Force. Sayn Ta leapt up high into one of the world's thick trees, out of range of the Hutt Bounty Hunter. She used all of the Force she could muster to speed with agility across the trees' various branches, occasionally jumping from one tree's limb to another. The Gungan Jedi Knight's only hope was to find and abandoned Imperial outpost. Maybe there, she could have shelter and send out a distress signal to her fellow Jedi to come and rescue her. She could do it....if she didn't run into any angry Ewoks on the way....

Sayn was meditating when she felt her apprentice enter the room. She readied herself to answer a question, but she was pleasently suprised to hear that Dino had completed his task. The Gungan Jedi Knight walked over to the young man and put a her arm around him. "You are an exceptional Jedi. I am very proud of you." Sayn glanced down at Padawan Dino's new lightsaber. "It looks wonderful, much better than my first 'saber. Now lets see how it works." Sayn walked over and got a small helmet-looking thing and some sort of ball off a shelf. She placed the helmet on her Apprentice, covering his eyes. The Jed then activated the ball, which seemed to gravitate in the air. "This is one of the oldest Jedi excersizes. The remote -the ball looking thing- will send out harmless blasts of energy at you. Use the Force....and your newly constructed lightsaber....to block the bolts. Fear not, the bolts are harmless. However, they may sting a bit." Sayn went to the cockpit of the ship and took it out of hyperspace. She then returned to the room with her Padawan. She sat in the corner and watched him practice. ((Continue in the Endor thread. We are on the ship in space, not on-planet))

Sayn smiled "Good, by understanding the 'what' and 'why' of the Lightside, we can better resist the lure of the Darkside. I have still not recieved a responce from the Alliance on wether or not they will suport us. We cannot rescue Master Talon without their help. However, it is a very important time in your training, Apprentice Dino. You will now construct your lightsaber." Sayn motioned to a chest in the corner of the room. "Inisde that chest are the books, crystals, and other supplies needed to construct a lightsaber. This is a very important step in your life as a Jedi, somthing that must be soley your creation. All instructions are inside the box. If you need any help, I will be in the other room. Good luck, and may the Force be with you." With that, Sayn Ta left her young Padawan to his work. ((OOC: Dino, this should be a very detailed and long post. If you need any help, contact Sayn IC, me OOC in a PM. I also strongly suggest checking out other peoples' lightsaber creating posts. ))

A com was sent out from the blue-trimmed Correllian Corvette, the Freedom Express, as it continued to sail through hyperspace. Inside, a Master continued training her apprentice. Sayn realized she had a talented apprentice. She was glad that, unlike other Jedi, his connection didn't make him arrogant. He understood that mastery of the Force took time. Not everything would come easily. Sometimes, the greatest Jedi Masters are the ones who had the most trouble learning the simplest tasks. It pleased her to know that Dino understood this. The Gungan Jedi Knight watched as her Padawan lifted the rocks. His was learning well. "You now understand that the Force binds all of us. From the most complex of species to the simpleness of rocks and stones. Midichlorians are literally everywhere. You have a basic concept of the Force and how to use it. I consider such a talent to be Force Nuetral. You must now learn what to use the Force for. To give in to greed and use the Force for power is the way of the Dark Side. To use it to benefit others with all of your being is the Light Side path. You must now confirm your choice. As a Jedi, you will swear to treat the Force respectfully and use it to help people. Tell me, what are acceptable ways to use your gift of the Force?"

As the Freedom Express soared through hyperspace, a Gungan Jedi Knight connected through the Force with her young Padawan. Sayn Ta smiled as she felt the young Dino harness the Force. She was glad to see he could feel it, even if it was just a tingle. He was like a young boy in a large empty room. He did not know where to go, but he was at least there.... Master Ta connected with the Force herself and spoke to the young man through it. "Feel the Force around you. Too often people try to grab it, hold onto it, control it. That is not the proper way. Contrary to popular belief, the Force is not a tool...it is a gift. One that we should appreciate and treat with the upmost dignity. We are the select few who have been granted this grit, and therefore, it is our responsibility to do the greatest good we can with it. Anything less than absolute dedication to good deeds is a disgrace to our gift." Sayn could feel her apprentice growing not only in knowledge, but also with the power of the Force. However, recent news has saddened me. It seems our Jedi brother and Sisters have forgotten their commitment to good. Their fear is stopping them from rescuing Jedi Master Talon from Imperial torture. I understand that no Jedi alone could overcome the Empire's onslaught. But as a whole, the Order is more than the sum of its members. We have the power to rescue Master Talon from torture, and therefore, we must. It is our duty. But politics are a lesson for anonther time. Right now, we must concentrate on the Force. It binds us all...so let that connection lift one of the rocks into the air. Sayn watched the rocks to see if Dino truly understood the essence of the Force. He could not use the Force as a tool to lift them. Rather, he had to connect with them through the Force and allow that connection to elevate the rocks.

After sucessfully entering her new Corellian Corvette, the Freedom Express into hyperspace, Sayn Ta looked to her right. There sat her new apprentice, Dino. "Come we have much to learn." The Gungan Jedi led her young Padawan a couple of chambers back, to a specially designed training area on the ship. Sayn walked to the middle of the room and then turned around to face Dino. Please, sit. Jedi Knight Ta then proceeded to place 3 rocks of varieing sizes around the room. She then returned her attention to Apprentice Dino. The mission to save Master Talon will be incredibly dangerous. You will need to learn how to defend yourself against evil. But before you can do that, you must learn to harness the power of the Force. I sense that you have already had some training, but now it is time to hone your skills. For now, forget about the rocks. The only thing I want you to focus on right now is opening up you body to the Force. Quite your mind, it will only distract you. Wash away who, what, and where you are. Let the Force enter you and take you on a journey. As the young man practiced channelling the Force, Sayn went to a small room in another part of the ship and delivered an important hologram message. When she was finished, she went back into the room with Dino and sat arcross from him on the floor. Joining him in meditation, Sayn opened herself up to the Force and tried to connect with the young Jedi learner.
  11. Sayn smiled at the Padawan. He was teeming with un-harnessed light-side energies...he just didn't know it yet. The purple female Gungan Jedi Knight knew he would make a fine apprentice. Sayn thought herself lucky to find such a youngster. She gave a slight head bow in return. "Then I gratefully take you on as my apprentice, Padawan Dino. Through me, I hope that you learn to use the Force as a tool for compassion, tolerance, and love. I proffess that their is no better feeling in the Galaxy than when you help someone in need." Sayn paused. What lay before the young man was a life full of service and adventure...and, unfortunetly, danger. "I will teach you the ways of the light side of the Force. But I worn you, always be cogniscent of the fact that not everyone shares our respect for life. Their are many, like the Sith and the Empire, that are overwhelmed by the seductive powers of the Dark Side. I will show you how to resist this temptation and how to defend yourself against these evils." Sayn struggled to gather strength for this next part. She was just taking this boy on as an apprentice...and his first mission would be an incredibly dangerous one. "I regretfully inform you that our first mission requires much bravery. We will be performing a task that even Masters of our Order are too afraid to do. Recently, Jedi Master Talon sacraficed himself to save my former Master, Kirlocca. Other Jedi have been unwilling to rescue Master Talon. I, for one, will not be confined by such fear. If my fellow Jedi are unwilling to help their brother, then we will turn to others that truly understand the brutallity of the Empire. But time is of the essence, we must hurry to save Master Talon. My former ship, an unnamed N-1 Naboo Starfighter is now yours. While on planet, I have acquired a new ship, a Correllian Corvette with blue trim known as the Freedom Express. It has the capacity to store your new Naboo starfighter and transport us both. The starfighter has already been loaded onto the Freedom Express. Lets go. We must move quickly if the Jedi Talon is to survive." The Gungan Jedi Knight guided her Padawan to the new Correllian Corvette and took off into space.
  12. Sayn smiled and laid a hand on Dino's shoulder. "Then I formally take you on as my apprentice, Padawan...err...what is your name again?" Sayn Ta blushed again. The Gungan Jedi Knight didn't even give the young man a chance to introduce himself....every Master and Apprentice needed a proper greeting!
  13. Through the Force, Sayn could practically smell him out. The mild mannered Jedi turned to regard the man who had just gotten up. "Hello, I am Jedi Knight Sayn Ta. I am sorry for my previous outburst...as a Jedi, I am usually in better control of myself. Anyway, I sence that you seek to learn the arts of the Light Side. Am I correct? Do you wish me to teach you the ways of the Jedi?"
  14. A yellow N-1 Naboo starfighter emerged from hyperspace. As it descended towards Manaan, its pilot...Jedi Knight Sayn Ta....felt a strong connection with the Force. Yes, the harmony of the light-side echoed from the planet. After recieving clearance, the purple Gungan female landed her small ship and wen aboard the legendary Eternal Vigilance. Sayn could feel the Force permeate the air as she walked through the vessal's graeat halls. Before long, the Jedi stumbled into a group of young Jedi. Perhaps the Force had led her hear...or perhaps it was just pure luck. Either way, she could feel unharnessed Force power in the room....a sure sign of a Jedi Hopeful. The very suprised Master Ta spoke loud enough to get their attention. "At least one person in this room is a Jedi Hopeful!" She regarded the others as they heard her exclaimed observation. The Gungan Knight's pale face suddenly flushed red with embarrassment. ..this was completely out of character for the soft-spoken Sayn. Normally she would have politely introduced herself to everyone, learned their own names, socialize, and then reveal her revalation. However, her excitement at finding at least one Jedi Hopeful overwhelmed the always polite Sayn Ta. Although she had never revealed it, she had always secretly harbored a desire to take on an apprentice. She told herself that she had to jump on the chance...before it was too late...she hoped this group of Force Users would understand.

Sayn followed Darex to his ship. She could tell that he was a strong and noble Jedi. Rumors were abound the Galaxy that the Jedi Order was corrupt and had lost their way. The purple Gungan Jedi Knight was happy to see that Masters like Darex and her dear Kirlocca proved those people wrong. "Yes, I am Jedi Knight Sayn Ta. In my Padawan years I enjoyed a lengthy apprenticeship with Master Kirlocca. I would like to deeply thank you for your help and hospitality. I am glad to hear there is another Jedi on-planet ready to heal Master Kirlocca. I am used to warm and pleasent waters, so this cold is murder to my skin...I can't even imagine what a shaved Master Kirlocca is going through." They reached what Sayn presumed to be Master Darex's ship and entered it. The Gungan followed in behind Master Darex and the unconcious Master Kirlocca. The Jedi Knight watched as Darex brought the Wookiee's body to another Jedi. She was a female who was older than Sayn, but still young. She determined that this woman was the powerful Jedi healer Master Darex mentioned. Near her was another man. Sayn didn't sense a strong Force connection with him, but he was wearing a Jedi tunic. The Gungan Knight assumed he was an apprentice to one of the Masters. Sayn watched as the female Master and hoped she could bring Master Kirlocca back to his health.

Sayn Ta's snapped open. Her Master's presence awoke her from her meditation. He is here! Her former teacher! The man she came to Ilum to see! Somehow the Force told her he would be here. But now that he was, the purple Gungan Jedi Knight had to make a choice. Sayn recalled back a long time ago, to when she was apprenticed to the Wookiee Master. He had warned her to never reveal herself to Imperials. Should she still follow her wise Master's advice? Or, against all logical thought, should she follow her heart and attempt to rescue her beloved Master? If Sayn was to rescue him, she would have to do it quick...her former mentor was freezing to death in the cold. Sayn was torn between her heart and her mind. But fear was not the path for a Jedi. The Jedi Knight would save Kirlocca...or die trying. The way of the Jedi was to help, not to abandon. Sayn was afraid, but a Jedi could not be detered by fear. The Gungan started up her ship and flew it in low orbit. Her scanners quickly picked up the markings of a ship...a Jedi ship. Sayn landed nearby and rushed to help her Master. Jedi Knight Ta ran to Kirlocca. He was cold, so cold. His powerful Wookiee body normally resonated strongly with the Force...but now...now it was just a faint whisper. "I am here for you, Master!" Sayn ran back to her ship and grabbed a thick blanket. She wrapped it around Kirlocca and inserted heat pads between the cushion. It would save his life for the time being, but he needed greater medical attention. Her small yellow N-1 Naboo starfighter wouldn't be large enough to transport them both. Sayn sent an open com to all Jedi on-planet. "Fellow Jedi, this is Knight Sayn Ta. I have found Master Kirlocca, he is in desperate need of medical attention. I need a transport to take him off planet....but I warn you, be very careful. My Jedi senses tell me there is still the threat of a trap." Sayn closed the com and returned her attention to Jedi Master Kirlocca. She used the minimal Force healing abilities she had to help her dear mentor.

Far above the icy planet, a N-1 Naboo starfighter emerged from hyperspace. The pilot, a Gungan Jedi Knight, was Sayn Ta. She slowly entered the fridgid atmosphere and scanned for any forms of life. Numerous little blurbs showed up until...bam! It hit the young Gungan like a sack of smelly potatoes. It was the Force. More specifically, the light side of the Force. However, she could sense that none of them were her former Master. Still, Sayn's heart thumped with anticipation as the thought of meeting other Jedi ran through her head. It has been far to long since I've seen my Force brothers and sisters. Sayn, however, knew that the reunion would have to wait. She first had to find and rescue the man that had taught her so much. She landed the yellow starfighter, but kept the heater on. This could be a while. Sayn slipped back into a meditative state and waited for another Force signal from her former Master Kirlocca.

    Naboo

[Edited] Sayn Ta was at peace. The Gungan Jedi Knight walked through the Naboobian forest, soaking up the sensations around her. This planet was so full of life...so full of the Force. Sayn felf a great connection to this land. It was full of hope...satisfaction...inspiration. Naboo was a planet that allowed Sayn Ta to achieve oneness with herself. She had been here for a few days, eagerly awaiting her former Master's arrival. He had told her to meet him here, in this sacred forest. The last time Sayn had seen her Master was on Kashyyyk, where he was going through a profound personal crisis. Sayn had helped the Wookiee Jedi Master Kirlocca overcome that crisis, but she had not heard from him scence. The purple skinned Jedi realized that her anticipation was working her up into a bundle of nerves. In an effort to relax herself, she sat on the forest floor and began to meditate... And then it hit her like a ton of poodoo! In her deep connection to the Force, she felt a calling. It was her former mentor, Master Kirlocca...he was in distress! Sayn quickly gathered her things and took off in her ship. The purple Gungan Jedi Knight wasn't sure where she was going, she would let the Force lead her.

    Kashyyyk

Sayn smiled and laid her hand on Kirlocca's shoulder. "I have been both near and far...I have been watching you through the Force. I will always be with you, Master. It times of great grief I will be closer to you than ever. Although I may not always be visible in physical form, the Force will always keep us connected." With that, Sayn's body seemed to evaporate away...

    Kashyyyk

Though the large Wookiee bear hug was done out of affection, it was also affecting Sayn's ability to breath. She squeaked out her words. "Thank you...Master...Good to...See you...too..." Kirlocca must have remembered how physically strong he was, because he then released his affectionate grip on the young Gungan. Sayn breathed in heavily and shared a giggle with her former Master. He was truly unique. Sayn placed her rubbery hand on his powerful, furry paw. "Master, years ago you taught me the very nature of the force. Now, in your own hour of grief, let me remind you of the healing power of the light side!" The young Gungan Knight let her words sink into the noble Wookiee Master. They were both connected through the Force. It bound them together. With the Force they were connected to each other...the trees...the dirt...and life itself. "Master, for years you have traveled the galaxy to promote love and compassion. Now you offer yourself neither. As a Jedi, you love life and all of its creations! But you must also remember to love yourself! Rid yourself of this pity and embrace the forgiveness and salvation of the Force." Sayn called upon her own forgiving powers of the Force and let them flow to Kirlocca. The Force fostered life, and life created love. Sayn loved her Master as any daughter would a father.

    Kashyyyk

Emerging from behind a brush pile, a lone Gungan stood up. She was young, probably no older than 25 years. Her purple skin radiated in the sunlight as she stepped from the shadows. Her clothing was made of a tight, glossy, dark green fabric that was styled in a similar fashion to the one-piece bathing suits worn by humans. From her brown belt dangled a silver cylinder. A lightsaber! She was a Jedi Knight. The amiable Female Gungan Jedi approached Kirlocca from behind...it had been a long time since she had felt his presence. Placing her hand on his shoulder, she spoke. "Master, I'm here." She let her force presence soak into the sullen Jedi Master. "Release your sadness...your despair...your grief. Relish the Force and its forgiveness." OOC: Kirlocca, you can post for me as much as necessary.

    Tatooine

In an instant, Korben disappears into thin air....oh well. Sayn shrugged the man's disappearance off. She reminded herself that do to the intense, desert heat the entire altercation could have been a hallucination. Her Gungan body could only take so much. Sayn channelled into the Force, clearing her head...the heat was getting to her. Sayn studied the land, looking for a place to rest. There! A rocky overhang emitted an appealing shadow. It wasn't much, but it was better than nothing. The Jedi Knight went and sat in the comfortable darkness....a shadow was the only kind of darkness that could be comforting to a Jedi. Sayn studied her pad that had previously hung from her belt. Her probe droid was survaying the planet, relaying information to her. Sayn's brow suddenly furrowed. The droid relayed an image to her pad that was quite....interesting.

    Tatooine

((OOC: Sorry Geki, but I'm not really known for my frequent posting.)) Sayn screamed in agony as the Sith lightening ripped through her body. The Gungan Jedi moved her purple lightsaber in front of her abdomen, using the Force to attrack the synthetic lightening to her energy blade. She was able to deflect some of the powerful, dark bolts.....enough so that the wounds wouldn't be fatal. She, however, could not re-direct the bolts forever....she had to think of another line of defence, QUICK! Then, in an instant, the darksider was gone! A million thoughts ran through the Jedi Knights head.... Who was he? Why did he attack? Why did he flee? Should I pursue? No, he is gone now. The other man is safe. Relax. Sayn shook her head, and her big floppy ears smacked againsts her cheeks. She used the Force to clam herself. The encounter had been abrupt, and she wasn't quite sure exactly what just happened. The Gungan, however, reminded herself that it didn't really matter what had just transpired. The end result was that both she and the young man were safe now.....and wasn't that her primary reason for confronting the darksider? Ah, the all-too-sociable man...what did he even want in the first place? Sayn un-ignited her lightsaber, tucked it on her belt, and turned her attention to the man. "Why did you approach me? What is it you think I can do for you? The Gungan Jedi stared at the man quizically. He had nearly gotten both of them killed. She wondered what was worth that risk.

    Tatooine

Sayn Ta rolled her large, bulgy eyes. If this pathetic, testosterone driven display of the force was supposed to amaze her....it Failed....miserably.... The Gungan Jedi Knight watched this altercation unfold before her. She had started to question wether it was staged or not. Sayn was suprised to see that even a quiet, desolate planet like Tatooine had people who had such little confidence in their poweres that they forced themselves to showboat to get reconition. It was sad...it was pathetic...it had to stop... Sayn studied the two newcomers. The overly-friendly one now had a crimson lightsaber blade to his neck. The other man (the much weaker of the two) was holding that blade. The Gungan Jedi didn't know his name, nor did she care. He seemed aptly distracted with Mr. Friendly....Thus, Sayn made her move. Their was a quick flash....a blur of light...Sayn Ta had quickly gained control of the situation. In less than a second, she had removed the lightsaber handle from her belt...ignited her powerful weapon....and situated the purple energy beam between the offenders legs...too close to his crotch for comfort. "That was a warning. Leave this poor man alone, or you will cease to be one yourself. Sayn was stern, she didn't take the red 'saber wielding man lightly...he needed to go!
