  1. Noola was just getting ready to leave with her hairy man when the holonet newsbroadcast broke. The purple Twi'lek sat with her man and listened to the bulletin. Although she was sad to see him go, she knew he was doing an honorable thing. She kissed her Ro and sat on the bed, awaiting his return.
  2. So Salla was an honorable Operative. For years he had served the Black Sun, gaining their trust. Now an Agent for the Black Dawn, So sat in the cockpit of his YT-2000 and marvled at the massive Victory I Star Destroyers dancing overhead. The Dawn's Fleet was extraordinary....more than enough to wipe the Force-Using scum from the Galaxy. So never questioned how or why such a mission would be carried out. Questions like that were not appropriate for him. He was just one of the thousands of Black Dawn employees that dutifully performed his assigned tasks to the best of his ability. The criminal organization paid well....enough to provide a pleasent living for So, his wife, and thier two kids. But being part of the Dawn was more than that....he now got to be part of history. Even playing as a small pawn in the coming War would validate his life. And that feeling, in turn, further validated his devotion to the Black Dawn's cause. Suddenly So Salla's ship began to shake. The BD Agent looked up from his control panel. To his suprised amazement, one of the 18 Victory I Star Destroyers of the Black Dawn was passing closely overhead. So laid back in his rumbling seat and watched the gigantic ship's gracefullness. It's enourmity slowly came into view. Salla was close enough to the rigid markings of the Black Dawn imprinted on the ship. His heart began to race for war. So swore he could almost hear the deep pounding of drums. He couldn't wait for the coming battle! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Outside of So Salla's YT-2000, two small and deadly Starfighters screeched towards the massive Victory Star Destroyer. The ships, an E-Wing and a TIE, were two that were not normally seen together. But this was a special occasion. More importantly, they both carried the insignia of the unstoppable Black Dawn. The Starfighter pilots, Niemodian Flask Florrida of the E-Wing and Dug Rebulva of the TIE, raced their repsective ships into the cavernous mouth of the Destroyer. Landing side by side, the two Black Dawn Agents emerged from their ships. The duo conversed as they exited the brightly lit hanger. A clear energy could be seen between the two. The were no doubt excited about the coming battle with the Force-Users. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deeper inside the mammoth ship, a figure in flowing regal red robes clasped his arms behind his back. The man was clearly a Twi'lek, one from the green Luthan race. He peered out of the windows of the Bridge. His gaze, however, was far off....he was clearly fixated on the coming battle. His thoughts floated around that one subject only: The War with the Force-Users. The aura that encompassed the green Twi'lek in blood-red robes clearly signified that this man was in command of the Star Destroyer. In fact, he was in command of eight other Victory ships as well....half the the Black Dawn's Armadda. The man's name was Kamino. He was a Senior Black Sun Operative....his years with the syndicate were surpassed only by his good friend Piccolo. Ahh, Piccolo. Although Kamino was not sure of his current status in the organization (he had recently come out of retirement) he would take orders from none other than his great cyborg leader. Kamino would follow that man to the end of the Galaxy. But, as part of the newly formed Black Dawn, Kamino planned on following Piccolo to vicotory....a Genocide of the Force-Users! Approaching the Twi'lek from behind, the human Captain Iva delivered a message to Kamino. He informed his crimson-clothed superior that Piccolo had delivered a com message. One that stated the War had begun! Kamino regarded the Captain and smiled. "Then we will soon see the extermination of the Force-Users...and the trouble in which they have caused." Kamino returned his gaze to the amassing Fleet of Victory Star Destroyers as Captain Iva slipped away. The Black Dawn Armadda, when coupled with the Force Harvestors, would see to it that Picollo's vision of a Force-User free Galaxy would be met. And Kamino would be at his side....supporting him all the way....
  3. The green Twi'lek carefully studied the components of the new Black Dawn Armadda in his personal quarters aboard the Victory I Star Destroyer. Kamino, clothed head to tow in his signiture blood-red robes, marvled at the Fleet. Each of the Star Destroyers under his command were powerful weapons in their own right. What lay aboard, however, further amazed the BD Operative. These assests, combined with the newly built Force Harvestors, would decimate any opposition. No group would be safe from the Black Dawn's wrath. Kamino continued to expand his knowledge as the rest of the ship's crew began standard war preparations.
  4. After aknowledging Piccolo's comments, Kamino boarded a small shuttle that brought him to one of the massive warships. The green Twi'lek boarded it and made his way to the command deck. There, he was briefed on the ship, its components, and the rest of the Armada.
  5. Kamino went to where Piccolo, Silas, and Slicer had gathered. He was eager to hear what his old friend's message would be.
  6. Hearing Piccolo was on planet, Kamino went to greet him. "I hope your trip was pleasent, old friend. We have no time to waste, so I'll get right to business. The production foundries are up and running, they have already poured out numerous replicas of the Ultimate Weapon. Our troops have had training, and are currently practicing additional tactics. I personally feel that we are adequately prepared to launch our Crusade. The Black Dawn will rain judgement on the Force heathens."
  7. Kamino rolled his eyes. He had just answered a question that was asked to him...only to realize that someone else was eavesdropping and corrected him. What's more, Mindan had completely ignored the green Twi'lek's response and asked Duo the same question. Kamino walked away, half-frusterated, and focused his attention on training some younger Black Dawn Operatives.
  8. Kamino mulled over Mindan's question. It was a good inquery...Kamino gave much thought. "Lets size up the fighting tactics of a Force User. First, their foolish choice of swords as weapons make then vulnerable in a long-range fight. Other than return blaster fire, they have no real offence. Their only choice is to use their enhanced speed and blaster bolt blocking tecniques to shorten the distance. Therefore, we may not always be able to keep the battle long-ranged. When a Force User does approach, I suggest using grenades. Grenades that release thousands of tiny pieces of metal work best....Even the most powerful Jedi and Sith can't stop that from slicing threw their body. If a Force User is within striking distance with their lightsaber, use a flame thrower to blind and scortch them. Lastly, jetpacks help enable us to keep our distance from the scum." Kamino paused. "But that is just what I would do...I have never had hand to hand combat with a force user either. And besides, they won't even be able to access the Force once these weapons are in use."
  9. Kamino watched as the weapons of justice poured out from the foundries. The green Twi'lek smiled...soon they would be able to use these awesome tools to eradicate the corrupt Force Users...
  10. Kamino was levelled to the ground by a massive shockwave. As he stood back up, he heard Picollo's booming voice. He followed his friend's orders and began overseeing the construction of the weapon foundries.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A few days, and several hours later, an extremely exhausted and worn Kamino surveyed the progress...The weapon construction facilities were up and running. Finally! The day of the Black Dawn has come! Kamino watched as the foundries began constructing replicants of the Ultimate Weapon. The extermination of Force Users was proggressing along nicely.

    Space

18 Black Dawn Star Destroyers raced through hyperspace to Dubrillion. Inside the various black ships were the Ultimate Weapon, the Pirate Ronin Warthide, Kamino, Mindan, and many other Black Dawn Operatives. They were on a mission to wipe Force-Users from the Galaxy.

Kamino looked at the hole leading to the Black Dawn's ultimate weapon. The other Operatives had considerably increased the size of the hole's entrance...the green Twi'lek could see the entire satellite now. He once again regarded Mindan. "If we have a large enough ship, both of those problems will be solved." Kamino sent a com up to the nearest warship, ordering it to center itself above the Operatives' position. Chills ran down his spine as the massive ship hovered just feet above Kaminio, Mindan, and the other Black Dawn Agents. They all heard a large buzzing sound and watched in amazement as the Anti-Force weapon floated safely from the hole to the ship. When securly in place, the ship closed the entryway and returned to the Kashyyyk atmosphere. Kamino and the others took a seperate transport to the Black Dawn Warship. Once everyone was securely in place, the terrifying fleet raised up into space and departed for Dubrillon. OOC: I don't mean to post for others, I'm just trying to wrap things up...continued in Space thread for now.

Kamino regarded the one known as Mindan. The man seemed to be a skilled warrior, and that was all that mattered. The green Twi'lek didn't have time to worry about the other Operatives' opinions. Kamino had been a champion of the Black Sun...now the Black Dawn...for years. He had the favor of Piccolo, and that is all that mattered. Kamino was too concerned with the BD's ultimate mission to give any thought about the younger Operatives. "I wouldn't mind some assistance, but I think the best way to move this weapon is to bring a ship overhead. From there, we can use a small tractor beam to pull it up into the ship. I'm open to other options, but that seems to be the smartest and most efficient way."

The injured Kamino struggled to get up off the ground. Pain ripped through the green Twi'lek's shoulder...the blaster bolts had certainly done some damage. Normally he would have gone for revenge, but Piccolo's orders rang through loud and clear. Kamino walked over to his boss. I am sorry, my friend. Next time I will keep my ignorance in check. Kamino then moved out of the way and watched the able-bodied Operatives work on getting the device out of the hole.

Kamino's heart thumped as he gazed upon the awesom weapon. Something about it made the satellite permeate with power. Indeed, this was a weapon of evil... A weapon of power... A weapon of conquest... ...but also a weapon of justice. Force users of every specie, creed, and gender had perverted what was once sacred. They used their unfair advantage to topple the galaxy, ravage it with war, and claim it as their own...now their tyranny would be reversed. The age of the non-force user....the common man...the Black Sun...was rising, and it would set aflame every force user in the Galaxy. A new and glorious age was dawning. It would be led by the great and powerful Piccolo, and Kamino was overjoyed that he could be a part of it. The green Twi'lek could see that the entrance to the cavern was growing considerably bigger as the lesser BS Agents continued to excavate. Kamino rounded up the other, higher ranking, Operatives up and they attached a number of gravity chains to the chamber that contained their ultimate weapon. The chains, when activated, would use gravitation force to gently ease the device to the surface. The operation seemed to be going successful. Kamino was happy. Then Slicer spoke. (Kamino was annoyed) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile... The massive Black Sun Warships left terrifying shadows on the forrested Wookiee planet. Inside one of these massive vessals, a young luitenant called out to his commander. "Sir, an enemy ship seems to have its weapons targeting the area where Commander Piccolo is. How should we take care of this situation?" The Captain, displeased that anyone would try to interupt the Black Sun's glorious crusade, was swift in his answer. "Shoot it." And so the order was carried out.... Green energy roared out from one of the ship's guns. Within seconds, the enormous emerald blast destroyed Slicer's pathetic ship. No rogue simpleton would threaten the Black Sun's grad ambitions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kamino was sure that everyone in the viscinity could hear the loud Bang! of Slicer's ship exploding. Although he was highly annoyed with the situation, the BS Operative had to smile as the booming sound echoed throughout the forest. Kamino then returned his attention to Slicer. "Thank you for enlightening me, Slicer...before I met you, I didn't know the Empire recruited the mentally retarded." The green Twi'lek gestured a simple hand signal. Every one of the dozens of Black Sun Operatives raised their guns and aimed them at Slicer. "The negotiations are over." Kamino gave another signal. All of the BS Agents fired their deadly weapons with excellent precision. A moment later, splinters of lethal energies destroyed all of Slicer's weapons, from his lightsaber to his blasters to his utility belt to anything else on his person. Kamino spoke again. "The next shots will be for your head."

Kamino watched the Imperial idoit follow Piccolo into the hole. The foolish Slicer didn't realize how lucky he was to be alive...the green Twi'lek Operative thought that Piccolo was going to kill Slicer on more than one occasion. Kamino entered the most-interesting hole after Piccolo and Slicer. The area they were walking in was incredibly dark, and Kamino's glowstick barely enabled him to see and follow Slicer's back. Yet, as they trekked, Kamino's heart began to thump with excitement...the age of the Black Sun was dawning!

Kamino regarded the one known as Duo. "Thank you, but my 'smooth moves' are nothing more than making intelligent decisions during battle. Too often people are eager to fight without analyzing the best way on how to fight. I will teach you more of this later...but right now you have an army to lead and I need to lead an excavating mission." Kamino removed the black sheets from the equipment. "And don't worry about our 'electrics', Duo. These protective coverings will stop any ion blast." As Duo headed off to fullfil his other orders, Kamino was approached by Rodya and Jacen. "Ah, you must be the Black Sun Operatives known as Jacen and Rodya. Don't be afraid to dig in and help...we have much work to do." And with that, the group began searching for the ultimate weapon.

OOC: I have asked a mod to rule on wether or not Slicer is allowed to have a personal army of droids that are undetectable by sensors and can kill BS troops without anyone relizeing that the Operatives are disappearing. I will wait to see if Slicer's last post is legitimate before posting.

Kamino sensed that there was something more to Piccolo's story. He wondered about some of the details of his Trandoshan friend's tale....but he could inquire about that later. The green Twi'lek trusted Piccolo, and when Piccolo wanted to reveal the rest of his story, he would...and that was good enough for Kamino. Besides, they had more pressing issues at hand. Kamino followed the Trandoshan hunter from the ship to the ever-growing group of BS Operatives. The Twi'lek looked over the group with mild amusement. These new recruits were young, strong, and in the prime of their physical prowness...little did they know that muscel could only take you so far. Kamino reminisced. He had been one of these young, go-getters at one time. In fact, it seemed like only yesterday that he was in Whyl the Hutt's Palace, being recruited by Piccolo. Sometimes the Twi'lek still felt like a youngling... Yes, much time had passed since those days... But on second thought, it had passed rather quickly. Kamino thought back to his rough childhood on Ryloth. Although from a wealthy family, he was the cause of an unexpected pregnancy. His mother was the daughter of a powerful planetary diplomat...but she was a promiscuous girl and her teenage pregnancy would be a blackmark on her father's political career. So the family covered up the pregnancy, and when Kamino was born a bastard child, he was quickly abandoned. It was not until his own teenage years that Kamino had fully learned of his lineage...and when he found out the truth about his family, he poisened them all... Kamino normally repressed such thoughts, but it seemed that coming out of retirement jogged his memory. The Twi'lek's thoughts then flashed to his later teen years. On his sixteenth birthday he was visited by a representative from the Trade Federation. They explained that a band of renegade teenage pirates had been ransacking TF ships in the sector. The recruited Kamino to infiltrate the organization and kill its leadership....what they didn't tell the young Twi'lek was that the pirates were a collection of misfit orphans who, like Kamino, had all been abandoned. Kamino symphathized with them to a degree...which made it all the easier to work his way up the ranks. When he was finally in the group's hierarchy, he had to make a choice: stay loyal to his employer...or follow his heart and assist the orphane terrorists. Kamino's brain overuled his heart. He killed all of the pirates...from the leader to newest and youngest members. He had only been hired to eliminate the head hanchos...but his the Twi'lek found peace in knowing that he stopped the young ones from experiancing a childhood of suffering and questioning that he endured....the Trade Federation was overjoyed with Kamino's decision. They awared him with millions of credits and one dozen black-stiped battledroids. They gave him equipment to make minor repairs himself and promised to replace any droid that became 'defunct'...no questions asked. The twelve droids were sleeping now in Kamino's new ship, the Freefire. Kamino had bought the highly upgraded ship as a retirement present. Glad I might finally get some use out of it... Kamino's final thoughts came to his time with the Black Sun...a good portion of which was spent inside his beloved Citadel. He had served in a variety of positions, from Smash's personal assistant to briefly leading the organization himself during a Piccolo and Daisaku absence... The thought of Thorpe employees walking through his Citadel...with a Sith depot sitting in Smash's chair...make Kamino's blood boil. The Twi'lek wondered how much the new recruits knew of the Black Sun's history...and then Kamino found himself pondering the same question. Piccolo, of couse, knew more than he did...and it was likely Smash knew even more... But Mr. Daisaku was gone now, and it was time to look to the Black Sun's future. Kamino shook the thoughts of his past out and locked them away once again...He had a newly annouced mission to focus on. After Piccolo's briefing, Kamino returned to his near by ship. The Freefire perfectly fit the Twi'lek's taste in that it was a stunning crimson color. Kamino like the fact that is matched his full-length, red robe and red cape, which was attached with a red breastplate. Inside the ship, however, sat something of very special value to Kamio: Crimson armor he won during his first bounty hunting duel. Kamino entered the Freefire and booted up into the armor. He had recently buffed and waxed it, so it was a spectacle to behold...but even the asthetic value could not compare to the incredible durability of the suit. It was fire-proof and freeze-proof. It was strong enough to leave only bruises where blaster bolts hit. If a human hand punched it, the hand would likely break into shards. Even with all these features, it was still flexible enough to allow Kamino to perform the most agile of moves. It truly was a wonder suit. Loaded to the suit were a variety of weapons. Some of them were quite common killing devices...others looked to be ancient and rare....only Kamino truly knew the purpose of each tool. He smiled as he regarded the dozen battledroids stored in his ship. Hopefully I won't need you today... When completely suited up Kamino went back to the Black Sun camp and marched with the other operatives to the Wookiee villlage. Kamino followed behind the group, he had no interest being the first one shot in a fight. The strongest weapon one can have is intelligence... After arriving at the village, Kamino watched the agent known as Duo scurry up one of the taller buildings. The Twi'lek shook his his head. The poster boy for this mission doesn't even want to oversee the equipment setup?... Kamino let the thought pass and instructed the other operatives on how to set up the survaying and digging devices. His work was interupted by a buzzing from a sensor device on his belt. Kamino read the device's message and froze. Several enemy fighters were encirleing the large BS force. This should keep the Operative in the trees enertained... Quickly, Kamino covered all of the Black Sun's mechanical equipment with a fabric that looked like a black sheet. He then announced the univited visitors presence to the BS group. "Several enemy droid fighters have surrouned the village. They are preparing to attack, everyone in defensive positions." And that's when they hit. A flood of droids twirling their stalves...Magnagaurds, no less! Kamino's attention was diverted upward. Duo had begun to battle with the armor-clad leader of the droids...the BS operative seemed to be winning. The ground battle between the other Black Sun agents and the Magnagaurds seemed to erupt around Kamino. As the Twi'lek surveyed the battle, he was disgusted. Both sides showed no class, no sophistication, no forethought in their battle tactics. Kamino let out a sigh that indicated his highly annoyed state. In the 'eye' of the BS operatives defensive circle, the green Twi'lek noticed that the droid warriors were continuously getting closer. Good... When all of the Magnagaurds were withing 25 feet, Kamino unclipped what looked like a large grenade from his belt. Stretching his arm above his head, Kamino initiated the device. The countdown began... 5...4...3... Pushing back the Black Sun defences, the droids came closer... 2...1...BOOM! What looked to be a large energy shield emerged from the grenade. It was, in fact, a unique type of ion grenade. The Magnagaurds instantly collapsed. The BS Operatives' guns seemed unscathed, and the black sheets protected the equipment. So much for the droid offense... Kamino looked around at his suprised Black Sun brothers. And that, my friends, is battle with tact.

    Kashyyyk

For a moment Kamino was speechless. So much had changed since Kamino had gone into retirement. He had always considered Piccolo something of a force-atheist....now the green Twi'lek sat and listed to his old friend tell tales of having his soul stolen...then be rescued by Jedi...and finally to be restored to life by a Pirate King. If Kamino had not heard Piccolo's words emerge from the trandoshan himself, he would not believe Piccolo had spoken them. Kamino was astonished by how far his old friend's worldview had changed. Before Piccolo hardly believed the Force even existed...now he told tales of force users causing all of the galaxy's ills and how they were slowly taking over the galaxy. Piccolo's words held the Twi'lek in a state of disbelief....but the loss of Smash Daisaku, the betrayal of ShadowFett, and the attacks by some Thorpe Corporation and a Sith Barton built a fireball of anger inside of Kamino. How dare these people deface the inegrity of the Black Sun...the organization that Kamino had gave so much of his life to! The Twi'lek had always had a gift for keeping his emotions from being revealed, but this was almost too much....Kamino took another moment to calm himself. His green eyes then shifted to the hologram of the satellite-weapon. Without lifting his gaze, Kamino finally spoke, "Indeed, much has happened. Great hunter, I hope you understand that it may take some time for me to fully digest the recent events. However, I know that you are a man of your word. These happenings...however crazy they might sound...are true. I have always been and will continue to be loyal to the Black Sun....the fact that you are our new leader only deepens my faith to this organization." At last, Kamino looked up into his trandoshan friend's eyes. "I wish to help you on your crusade. This is your destiny, and I will be right behind you...lets find this weapon and end the tyranny of the force users." Kamino took another pause. "Piccolo, I pledge my life to you, to the Black Sun, and to this noble cause."

Kamino nearly melted from disbelief as Piccolo emerged from the shadows. If his old trandoshan friend could inspire fear into others before, he was fear its self now! It took a moment for Kamino to grasp that the terrifying droid monstor was truly the one and only Piccolo. After collecting himself, the green Twi'lek followed Piccolo to his ship. Amazement still filled Kamino, he was most curius about how things came into there present place. Kamino was careful not to fiddle with anything in the mechanized Trandoshan's ship...mostly out of respect, but partly because he knew that many of the devices were used for insant killing. Kamino knew that Piccolo was unable to embrace friendship, however, he also knew that he was one of the few people the great trandoshan hunter could unconditionally trust...maybe he was the only person. Still, Piccolo was not a dumb man, and Kamino could somehow sense suspicion echoing from the bounty hunter. "I understand that my being here seems quite the coincidence, but I assure you it is nothing more than that. Words will never be able to justify how utterly loyal I am to you...nor do I expect you to fully trust anyone in this galaxy. However, I think we can mutally accepted each other as close allies. Glancing outside through the exit hatch, Kamino adopted a puzzled look on his face. "And yes, I am definately interested in knowing how the status quo came bo be."

A large laugh echoed through the woods on the forested planet. What an amazing coincidence it was that Kamino, an old Black Sun Operative, should find his old mentor on the Wookiee planet. Kamino emerged from behind a large tree, his long red robe brushing against the thick forest floor. The green Twi'lek smiled happily as he strutted toward his old friend. "The Galaxy is indeed getting smaller, old friend. Of all the places of all the worlds, we both happen to be here. Simply amazing!" Kamino paused and let Piccolo absorb the fact that it really was him. "Tell me, how is the Black Sun these days? Looking for any new recruits?"
  23. -Pic is allowed to control my character's actions until I have time to post-
  24. Kamino contemplated Piccolo's question. It was frank, to the point, and had taken him by suprise. This was a big question....his answer would decide his destiny. The green Twi'lek sipped his drink before responding. "Now." With that single word, Kamino had chosen his path....it wasn't a bad decision....in fact, Kamino was filled with a sudden rush of adrenaline and excitement. He had been re-awakend to a Black Sun Renissance! The Twi'lek downed his drink and stood up, full of excitement. "Its time I get off my sorry butt. I am back in the BS....and I couldn't be happier!"
