  1. Kirlocca almost smiled as he could hear Alliera's comment about not losing track of him, but choose instead to let the comment pass by without any notice. Without much of another word spoken at all, the Wookiee moved both young Jedi to the spaceport where a shuttle was resting. << You both will find that helpful is a relative term. We are going to aid, and whether or not we are helpful will be decided by others. For now, let us depart. I fear we may be on the late side upon our arrival anyways. >> Kirlocca quickly ushered both onto the shuttle and had it off to the rally point. Soon all three were on there way to rendezvous with the Rebel fleet...
  2. Kirlocca gave a smile to both and nodded his head in the direction of the main entrance. As he started to speak, he also began to walk towards the stairs. << Well Johan and Alliera, we are now headed into the Galaxy. From there, you will gain some valuable experience in what being a Jedi really is all about. >> As the Jedi Master reached the top of the stairs, he pointed towards the starport letting both know that they were about to leave the planet. << The Galaxy is long overdue to have the famous Jedi Wookiee enter the defense scene. We are headed towards the front lines... >> Without saying much of anything else, the Wookiee began to walk down the stairs of the entrance of the Jedi Temple. The small group was about to be entered into the galaxy at large and the confrontations the Jedi Order needed to be apart of.
  3. Kirlocca let the Force work through both students. Letting them feel out what they needed to feel before he spoke. He allowed for his own presence to overtake them for a quick second before he withdrew it. He took a second to address both students and what they felt, and to respond directly to Alliera before talking to both. << Lost it you did not. Not everything felt within the Force needs to be felt. While you may not feel it anymore it is supposed to leave you. But be careful when treading in the Force, for there is much to be felt and a lot to be desired. With such proper training, one could easily feel motives, desires, intent, purpose and even futures of those connected to the Force. But such requires a great deal of training and learning. And you should know that such knowledge of comes with wisdom. To gain such knowledge without wisdom is a path that will consume you. For few who start down that path will ever be satisfied with the true knowledge, and in not knowing the true knowledge, will only ever seek other ways until they have become nothing. >> Kirlocca now turned his head and looked out towards the main entrance of the Temple of which they stood. The soft sounds of both the breeze in the air, the sound of water running near the pool of which the the group stood. The humming of machinery working, and every so often the sounds of ships coming and going from the space port. To the Jedi Master, such sounds were a joy to hear. Keeping his eyes upon the entrance, he spoke in a quiet voice. << And what then shall we do? To feel and know the Force is the beginning. To know the code is a guide. To train is to learn it’s rhythms and movements. To be a Jedi is to share such skills with others… >> Kirlocca now turned his head at both Johan and Alliera with a smile. At this point, he was letting both decide what path they wanted to take.
  4. KIrlocca turned back towards Johan with a smile. << You are doing very well in reaching out and finding those within the Force and those not connected to it Johan. Perhaps a final lesson is needed in this for the moment. >> The Jedi Master could feel ripples begin to echo off from far off planets and other users. Because he could sense it, he wasn't sure if Johan would be able to or not. << Can you reach out and feel not people, things and other manners of life. But can you feel what's being carried within the Force itself? With the very small and tiny ripples that come across the galaxy? The weight of them and how they move? What do you sense from them? I will give you some time to feel this out, and then perhaps maybe we shall start a new lesson. >>
  5. Kirlocca smiled as he could feel the emotions and Force alone just stirring within the two before him. The two felt very sure and steady within the Force, yet their emotions said something else for both as well. Still both young and inexperienced within the Force, the Jedi Master was able to feel them both out as they explored. Looking for a moment at Alliera, as he could tell she found a current. He had an idea of what she was feeling, but he wanted to push her a bit on it. But he choose to let her sit within the feeling as he spoke to Johan. << Those within the Force can either give off small or large presences. Since all life is connected to the Force, you are able to feel out many. Some naturally have a larger signature than others, while sometimes with great training, one can increase or decrease their presence to avoid being detected by those within the Force. >> As the Wookiee spoke the words, he slowly withdrew his presence so that it would be noticed, and then slowly brought it back. Continuing on, he now spoke in a way to address what he was sure Alliera was feeling. << One can also feel the very currents and ripples within the Force itself. They sometimes warn or guide us. Sometimes such feelings can also deceive us, as others who are trained can influence the ripples and create something that is not there. Tell me Alliera, what do you sense? >> Kirlocca turned towards her now, letting it be known that he could indeed feel what she was sensing. Although he was sure that Johan would also indeed begin to feel out much like Alliera just did.
  6. Kirlocca slowly nodded his head at Johan. A very slight eyebrow raise as well was about all of the indication that the Jedi Master gave the young man on how he was being perceived. << Indeed. Reach out then and feel the Force. Close your eyes and allow for it to flow through you, connect you, reveal to you... >> The Wookiee now moved to sit on the side of the pool, closing his own eyes and letting the Force move. He could feel things stir almost immediately, but instead wanted to see how much the two before him could feel and sense.
  7. Kirlocca let out a long breath, but more out of processing information. His own eyes narrowed as he looked at the young man. Johan Fae held a background that was more interesting than perhaps maybe the man realized. A family of tradition gave far more history and detail than many would even begin to comprehend. With a slow nod of his head, he allowed for a slight smile to appear upon his face as he lifted up his left paw and pointed to Alliera. << Well then Johan, you may have come to the right spot. I just finished telling Alliera here that your life in following the Force is one of service and sacrifice. To become a Jedi requires a strong commitment. A commitment I feel like your history may have bred you for. Is that your desire? >> The Jedi Master folded his arms and awaited for Johan to respond. If the answer was similar to Alliera, the Jedi Master would help the young man begin his road to become a Jedi.
  8. Kirlocca took a moment and looked at the approaching presence in the Force. A young man was headed his and Alliera's way. His blue eyes almost stood out against his dark hair and the way he carried himself told the Jedi Master that he was familiar with the Jedi Order, and the way he dressed suggested perhaps he held some sort of training before hand. He then got close enough to speak and the words and actions of the young man surprised him. He left much to be wanted, but not so much that would panic him. The presence of a lightsaber that clearly belonged to someone else was a bit strange. Looking him over, he reached out his own paw towards the young man in a way to suggested that he wanted to examine the lightsaber. << I do not know Master Tar'ak Sur personally. But that is simply because I have not been back long enough to familiarize myself with everyone... Do you have a name? I am almost certain that you have a story. All living beings do. >>
  9. The dock authority officer looked at @Johan Fae with a look of sheer amusement for a moment before lifting his hand and pointing towards the massive hourglass shaped building that loomed over the majority of the city of Knossa. "You don't need to look very far for the Jedi. That's their temple. Rebuilt only in the past three years or so. I'm sure anyone inside could easily help you find what you're looking for. In fact, I heard Jedi Master Kirlocca is there now. Can't miss the giant Wookiee." The officer then waved Johan on and returned to his work. ************************************* Kirlocca took a breath in as he felt Alliera within the Force reach out. He was indeed impressed with her. Without much training, she held such an innate grasp upon the Force. For him, he felt like she may be one of his strongest apprentices yet. But control and much discipline would be required of her to advance to such a state of masterfulness. Through the Force, he spoke within her mind. "In the life around you, feel it's life awake and alive. Part of being a Jedi means we must act always to protect such life." Kirlocca opened his owns eyes now, still very much standing like an anchor for Alliera in the Force. But now he spoke with his actual words. << Your life in following the Force is one of service and sacrifice. To become a Jedi requires a strong commitment. That commitment allows for a Jedi way closely follow a code that guides their actions to preserve peace and harmony in the galaxy. It is here where you will learn this code and begin your journey to discover what it truly means to be a Jedi. >>
  10. Kirlocca slowly nodded his head as Alliera spoke. Her hesitation in even explaining that of which she did know informed him of exactly where she stood with it. Even as the two sat, he could feel the currents of the Force flowing powerfully like a river, it washed over her, but she did not touch it or embrace it yet. He then turned his head towards the growth of plant life that was a wild and weird mix of overgrowth and recently maintained from the time he had brought staff in to the temple. << Reach out then and feel the Force... >> Kirlocca closed his own eyes to help guide her. He waited for her to close her eyes before he continued on. << ...Feel the life around, the Force around you. Feel how it stems from the life of the planets and water near us... >> The Jedi kept his own presence within the Force strong and radianting for Alliera to feel. He then touched her through the Force. << ...Can you feel me within the Force? If so, I want for you to reach out and touch back... >>
  11. Kirlocca studied Alliera for a moment. He towered over her, almost a full two feet. Her grey eyes almost hide so much behind them, questions, hopes and even dreams. His own eyes softened up as he looked at her, using the Force to feel out the currents flowing. He took a moment to look up at the sky before turning his head back towards the temple entrance. << To answer all of your questions at once. Yes, I am offering to be your teacher if you will have me. We will begin now and here. >> Kirlocca turned slightly to begin walking into the Temple. The entrance from the steps held a great long hall, with light coming in from four large glass window panels plus from the main entrance doors. All around was white and yellowish brown stones with plants seeming to come out of everywhere. The floor held red carpet and broke only for the center pool, which was held in by glimmering white stones with a few spouts of water erupting from the surface level. At the other end of the hallway was two turbolifts that could lead to other parts of the temple, and off to the sides were doors that lead to other areas of the temple as well. Today, they were not the objective. Kirlocca walked towards the fountain pool in the center of the hallway and sat down on the ledge of the pool and offered for Alliera to sit with him. << Tell me, what do you know of the Force? >>
  12. Kirlocca allowed for a smile to appear upon his face. He had always known that his name and picture was all over after the many battles he had years ago, but to be apart of the Mandalorian culture was almost honoring to him. Maybe because of his time working closely with Fett all of those years ago. Back then felt like a simpler time, but he knew that such thoughts and feelings were incorrect. They were just as messy as they are now. He was just ignorant to the vast galaxy back then. Letting the thoughts of the past drift away, he now focused in on this female before him. He allowed for himself to feel her within the Force, and he found that what she said was indeed true. She held a connection to the Force. He studied her as she walked up the stairs. << Well Alliera, it would seem as if your journey has lead you to the right position. >> The Jedi Master turned his head to look at the Temple behind him. As he did, he lifted his paw and moved it in such a way that suggested he was offering up the entire building before her to her as a gift. As she reached the top of the stairs, he turned back to fully face her. << While I am sure that the stories you heard of me are about battle, the true legacy of mine lies within teaching and training. I may be the right person to help you find your path within the Jedi Order. >>
  13. Kirlocca stood near the entrance of the temple and watched the skyline of ships coming and going from Knossa. Very few ships veered from the course of the spaceport, as few had other reasons to be anywhere else. The Wookiee moved his eyes from the spaceport and the massive Eocho mountains to the steps of the Temple, where surprisingly he spotted a young Mandalorian walking up the steps. He hesitated to remember that even within the massive population of Mandalorians that there were over a dozen sects and pockets of beliefs and hierarchs. This one didn't feel like the ones he encountered on Chandrilla. No, this one seemed to be in pure amazement of the structure of the temple. Letting out a breath he was unaware he was even holding, the Jedi Master took a few steps forward towards the young Mandalorian. << Welcome to Ossus. I am Jedi Master Kirlocca. How can I be of service to you? >>
  14. Kirlocca let the air of the Ossus fill his lungs upon stepping off of the transport. A few others walked around him and out into the main street where the markets were busy. The smells of food and other goods filled the air, along with an overall sweet flowery smell that quickly began to overtake the smell of the dock. Through the Force, a strong ripples began to quickly pour out. As the Jedi Master walked out into the streets, he could see the temple he rebuilt before him. A sense of familiar and home set in far quicker than it had ever since his return to this realm from being one with the Force. For him, this place was about to be his own home away from home. It was after all, his own creation. Slowly, the Jedi Master walked up the steps to the Jedi Temple and could smell the flowers within the garden inside, along with feeling the currents of the Force pulling very strongly within. As he reached the top of the stairs, he turned for a moment to look back at the city that the temple over looked and he allowed for a moment of smile at the very sight. The beautiful city of Knossa set amongst the Eocho Mountains was a wonder to behold, at least for him. Now he stood on top of the stairs of what was formerly known as the Eye of Ashlanae but now the current Jedi Temple that Kirlocca had already made up within his mind would be the center for all Jedi hopefuls to come and learn about the Force. For him, this would be the role he could help the Order out the most, more so than his skills with a lightsaber. Taking in a breath, he finally turned around and walked into the temple and began to setup his own quarters and preparing the place to become what he had always intended it to be...
  15. The Zabrak gave a smile and looked from student to student. He pondered for just a moment on how his response should come, but quickly decided that both knew only half of what they were talking about. So his response was quick. "Perhaps the knowledge there is enough for both of you. But I think that you both do not understand fully what you ask." Quickly, he turned to walk towards the main door and stopped in the door, lifted his hand to point towards the hangar bay. "There are two libraries on planet. One that lays in ruin, and the other within the Jedi Temple there, built from archives of famous Jedi Ara-Lai Kaipi. That location is also much closer to more populated systems. So if you choose to not follow the path of the Jedi, you are free to go." The Zabrak walked out of the room and put his arm down after talking, but with a smirk turned to both Jedi hopefuls. "Also, there you will meet Jedi Master Kirlocca and he will take over for me, as I have other duties that I must attend to."
  16. Kirlocca watched for a bit longer than Leena did as the Mandalorians left. It wasn't until they had their ship in the air that the Wookiee finally deactivated his lightsaber and turned around to join Leena and Genesis at the speeder. He said nothing to either Jedi, he just simply got the speeder up and running and took the crew back to the city. He let Leena take the main lead role with Genesis and his healing as the Jedi Master spent his time helping out the locals quickly with last minute stuff that needed his muscles. It was only after a few hours of work that he decided to check in on Genesis at the hospital before he took off. He didn't get a chance to say anything to the Mon Calamari Jedi, but he felt confident that the two would indeed see each other again soon. As the Wookiee walked into the room, he placed his paw upon Genesis' shoulder. << You gave many people quite a fright. Your wounds look strong enough to heal and leave a story upon you. >> The Jedi Master gave a smile and with his paw giving a few pats upon the shoulder of Genesis. He then began to walk out the door, but stopped to give a final word to Genesis. << A word of wisdom from someone who has had many failures in my past. How you respond and react to mistakes and failures is far more important than being successful. >> Kirlocca then turned and walked out of the room and headed towards the docks. From there, he was able to find transport to take him to Ossus, where he felt the Force calling him towards.
  17. The Zabrak looked from Siolo to Alliera with a slight grin upon his face. "Ossus. To the Capital, Knossa. There is a Jedi temple there, rebuilt from an ancient and ruined temple by Jedi Master Kirlocca and few others. It is a prime place for young Jedi hopefuls to learn much. From what I hear, as I have not been there myself yet, that it's a safe environment to learn and holds some special things that are designed for younger padawans such as yourselves. It's also rumored that Jedi Master Kirlocca will be heading that way upon his return from his special mission." The Zabrak gave them both some time to let the information sink in, but also to leave room for questions, which he was sure both held.
  18. Kirlocca paused as the emerging Mandalorian spoke with Genesis by her side, wounded. He glanced over the entire situation and felt the currents of the Force speaking loud and clear to him. He lowered his lightsaber to a relaxed position, but did not deactivate the blade. He glanced quickly to Leena and gave her a look that suggested he wanted her to follow his own movements. << I of course assume that when you say escape, you mean from the system. There is nothing here to be gained anymore for Kad Ha’Rangir. If those are your full terms, then we accept them. >> Kirlocca remained where he was and reached out slowly with the Force. First to feel out Genesis to make sure he was indeed alive, and also secondly to attempt to encourage the Mandalorian to make the decision that was indeed best for everyone at this point.
  19. The Zabrak smiled at both of the interactions the students had. "Siolo, reach out... What can you feel about them?..." The Jedi trainer walked slightly closer to the students and away from the container. He paused for a moment before Alliera. "Yes, that is the Force you feel. It has always been there, but perhaps now you have begun to realize it." He looked down and offered up a smile. "Maybe once this exercise is over, everyone here would benefit from a field trip perhaps?"
  20. Kirlocca slowly nodded his head as he heard Leena's voice within his ears. Taking the controls, he slowly had the speeder pull off to a side to avoid being detected. As he did so, he reached out into the Force to fully feel what was surrounding the two Jedi. He leapt off the speeder and towards a rock formation that would allow for him to scout ahead without being seen. Surprisingly his leap was more fluid and graceful than what he thought it would be for someone who was still getting used to being alive again. The Force is being generous to me, that much is clear. He looked around to see what was present out there. Without looking back, he spoke quietly to Leena. << About 3. They're scouts themselves. Which means they're close enough to Genesis. How close, I can not say. But we better take them out, and do it quickly, or else we'll draw more to us. >> It was the last thing he wanted to do, create a scene that draws more Mandalorians out. They still didn't know how many remained behind, so the fight could be quick or drawn out, depending entirely on how close to the camp they were to these scouts. Summoning the Force to himself, Kirlocca leapt into the air towards the Mandalorians, igniting his lightsaber he received from Tobias. The glowing orange blade quickly struck through the weapon of a firearm that one Mandalorian attempted to block the attack from. The weapon was easily torn in two, followed quickly by Kirlocca's own swing of his arm into an arc that struck the Mandalorian across the chest in a diagonal cut. The armor gave some slight resistance to the blade, protecting the warrior wearing it from death. Luckily for both, it was not Kirlocca's intention to slay the warrior. As he stumbled backwards, Kirlocca followed his arc swing with a powerful kick to send the warrior flying backwards towards the rocks. Before the Mandalorian even landed, Kirlocca was back at the ready for the other two who were now prepared for him.
  21. The Zabrak slowly nodded his head as he listened to both provide an answer. With a soft voice, he responded to them. "Many may say that we will never change their minds. The best you can do... the best anyone can do is to fully understand the Jedi code, and conduct themselves in a way the provides honor to the Force. As the Jedi Master Kirlocca was once recorded for saying, 'Better to make a hard choice with confidence than an easy one that brings eyes to themselves.'" The Zabrak turned and walked to a storage container of some sorts, pulling out an assortment of different things and laid them all upon a table. "But such discussion rarely help prepare one for what may be expected of them. Although it may frame your perspectives and help you in understanding yourself more..." He then moved to stand in front of the table and blocked the view of the container, which was hard to see into anyways. "For now, I want us to see for both myself and for yourself, how the Force works within you. Remaining where you are, what is in the container?"
  22. The Zabrak listened to both Siolo and Alliera and gave a slight eyebrow raise with a half smile as both finished. He leaned back and folded his arms across his chest. He took a moment before responding, as both answers generated some small talk amongst the students. "What if I told you that as different of answers as you both provided, is closely strong to how the galaxy sees the Jedi?" He paused for a moment to let his response sink in, and to let everyone ponder upon it. He then walked over to a projector and placed a galaxy map into the view of everyone in the room. "Some see the Jedi as protectors, guardians of their home worlds. Others view us a chasers of the Dark Side. Some view the Jedi as those who show up and cause problems for them. Others see us as a challenge to be overcomed, much like Mandalorians of old and some splinter groups now." He now moved himself to stand at a position and pointed towards two different planets with both hands. "Chandrila views us a healers and thinks we were too slow to respond to stop or prevent the burning of their home world. Yet here we have Ord Mantell. These people view us as a hindrance of business and a group that could destroy their entire way of life apart if we were to ever interfere..." The Zabrak put both hands down and began to move back towards the back of the room, but left the map up for all to view. "Who is to say that one view is right or wrong? Who can even change their minds if you do hold their view and opinion of us wrong?" It was a test question, but one he was certain that even Jedi Masters would stray from answering fully. But still, such a healthy debate now would help shape their paths that they would walk upon.
  23. The Wookiee smiled at Leena's willingness to join in. Her questions were legit and worthy of a response, as were her concerns for the patients she had here in the city. Turning the engine on, he turned to look at her for the first time. << I do not know where Genesis is, but I must find him. Rumors of raiders in the north east shoreline seem to be our best bet at where he may be. If he was taken by these Mandalorians, we need to be cautious. They have been known to kill Jedi very easily. Either way, this will be a quick mission, whether we are successful or not... >> Kirlocca then pushed the throttle forward and had the two Jedi taking off north east along the shoreline, in hopes of finding the wayward Jedi Genesis. As the rode, Kirlocca kept his presence within the Force strong and constantly pushing it outwards in hopes that Genesis would feel him and know that he was not forgotten or abandoned to a fate he did not want.
  24. The Zabrak slowly nodded his head and then smiled at the Twi'lek. "Indeed. It's what I suspected through the Force. And because of that, I suggest perhaps you could do me a favor." The Zabrak moved slowly to stand next to the young Jedi hopeful. "Describe with your own words... " He now leaned in to impart some heaviness to the question, but also to allow for the dramatic pause. "What does it mean to be a Jedi?"
  25. It seemed to be the very next morning when words and rumors began to spread rather quickly of Genesis, the young Jedi who came with him and the Mon Calamari healer had been taken somehow. Kirlocca was quick to begin to poke around to see who knew what and where he was last seen. Every so often he would reach out into the Force to see if he could feel the young man, but he seemed to be far enough away that no such presence could be felt. He did and still could feel the Jedi Healer, Leena. He reached out to her through the Force, letting his emotions flood her, a sense of urgency was about all that he truly wanted to muster to her. He wasn't panicked about Genesis, no worried. He simply knew that he had to find him. He managed to track information that suspected he may have been taken north east along the upper shoreline where some of the other raiding parties had come from. It was good enough of a lead for him, so he paid double to a shopkeeper for a speeder that would be ideal for his needs and began to prep the speeder for departure. Whether Leena had arrived or not, Kirlocca felt her presence and spoke out loud. If she wasn't there, it would seem to any bystanders that the Wookiee may have been losing his mind. << I'm going to get Genesis back. I have no real use here past encouragement of muscle of heavy lifting. I'm planning on a small firefight. >>
