  1. Temple Courtyard Adenna listened intently to her teacher as he introduced her to the Force. She was in awe at the power he displayed in being able to simply lift and crush a stone with such ease. She wasn't sure that she could ever possess such powers, but she was definitely willing to try. "Yes sir," she replied when he gave her an assignment. "I shall do my best." With a quick bow, she hastened off to do her teacher's bidding. It was going to be an interesting trip for her. She hadn't spent too much time in forests. Her family had taken a simple vacation to visit relatives who lived in the forests, but most of her life had been spent in the plains that encompassed both her small town and the larger city nearby. She always liked the forest because of its peace and relative protection. Most people didn't bother going into the forest, especially the slavers and spacers, so it was safe. On that trip, she had truly enjoyed taking walks out in the forest with her brother. They had played around and even swam in a small river nearby. While Adenna's sister was still too young at the time to go out without their parents, the whole family managed to go out on a few walks in the forest. As she tried to find her way through the maze of Temple hallways, she reflected on what Dahar had said. His instructions and teachings were clear and not hard to understand, but she still had questions. So often, she had heard the whispering in the back of her mind, but she had never sought to understand it. For the longest time, she had thought she was going insane as there were some people in the town and the nearby city that had suffered mental illnesses that sounded similar. It seemed so backward to listen to voices within your own head, but then, maybe that was why the Jedi were so powerful and famous. They seemed to do a lot of things that normal people wouldn't, and yet, they still survived. She just shrugged and decided then and there that she needed to start changing how she viewed things. She was going to be a Jedi now, not a simple girl from a backwater planet whose best hope was to marry a man who could support her and not treat her too roughly. She finally found the Temple gates and exited them. Without any directions to go, she decided that she would curve to the right and venture into the forest for a kilometer or so to make sure she was out of everyone's way.
  2. Wandering Around the Temple "Yes sir, I will do my best," Adenna replied hesitantly. She started off toward what she hoped would be the right direction to the guest quarters she had been given. All the weight of uncertainty over her future seemed to melt away with each step she took. It was as though her life's dreams and work had not been for nothing. Before, she dreaded the idea of not being accepted, of seeing her dreams utterly smashed. Now, she realized she was accepted and had gotten her foot into the door. The knowledge that she still had to work to prove herself worthy or risk being kicked out again was there, but for the moment, the elation of temporary victory boosted her. After a few turns and a short turbolift ride later, she was completely lost once more. She found herself in some sort of hallway full of statues and tapestries, but didn't know any of the people depicted, but assumed they were Jedi of some great importance. She crossed through that hallway and tried to find a more traveled area so she could ask directions. Instead, what she found was a large chamber filled with row upon row of various data terminals and data storage crystals. There were a few people inside wearing Jedi robes with one or two that weren't. They were sitting down studying datapads or searching for some data crystal among the shelves. It took her a few moments to realize that this was a library. She had never been in one this large before and it astonished her. The small library back at home was nowhere near this large or well maintained. She tried to mark where this was so she could come back later and start learning about the universe and the Force. Surely, a Jedi library like this would have much knowledge on the Jedi and the Force. The library on Thalassia had not been updated since the old Imperial purges under Palpatine when all the information on either subject was wiped from the databanks and shelves. Since the planet was so poor, there was really no money or urgency to update the library as soon as such restrictions were lifted. Remembering that she had a task, Adenna left the library behind and went in search of directions. If given enough time, she would learn the layout of the Temple and make it to her destination on her own, but she didn't want to waste time with self exploration. She didn't want to interrupt anyone in the library, otherwise she would ask one of them. It wasn't long before she found another Jedi of some strange green skinned species. Hoping that it spoke Basic, she asked for directions. The alien was kind enough and directed her down two levels and over onto the other side of the Temple. She thanked it--she didn't know if the alien was a male or female-- and went on her way. Before she went down two levels, she happened upon a corridor that had numerous windows. She looked out one of them and was surprised to see a vista of the city. Even though she was only a few floors up, it was enough to see a little more than she had been able to earlier in the day when she was on the ground. She hadn't been able to get to a portal while her transport was coming in, so this was her first view of the city. As much as she wanted to stay, she knew that she had better get back to her quarters and not keep Dahar waiting. At last, after descending two levels and wandering around a little, she got to a place that she thought was familiar from her initial trip to the guest quarters. She retraced her path until she found the hallway where the guest quarters were. With a smile of satisfaction, she located her room number and went in. The first thing she noticed when entering was that her new teacher's words were true. There was a set of brown Jedi robes hanging in the open closet. With great joy, Adenna quickly changed into the robes and threw aside her old clothing. The robes were a little large on her, but she couldn't complain. They were hers. For years, she had hoped to be allowed to put on these robes. In what little material she could find on the Jedi back home, they always were wearing these simple brown robes or a close variety of them. To her, they were the sign of the Jedi. As quickly as she could, she left her quarters and began seeking the courtyard. She knew Dahar had mentioned sensing her surroundings, but she didn't much know what that meant. She was too excited right now to do much deep contemplation, either. Instead, she relied on her own minimal skills. Even though she had been turned around by her earlier trip through the Temple, she made a quick judgment based on where the mess hall was and where they were heading after leaving there. Though it was a very general estimation, she figured that as long as she could get the general idea of where the courtyard was, she could find it. After all, she reasoned, if it were a courtyard, likely it was on the ground level or was tall enough to encompass multiple levels and be visible through windows on those levels. She decided that she didn't want to ask someone for directions this time. She wanted to figure it out on her own using her own skills. The sooner she started doing things on her own, the sooner she could learn the layout of this marvelous place. She had passed other Jedi and workers in the halls, but felt much better now that she was wearing Jedi robes instead of looking like an outsider. Even though she knew she was extremely new here, just the fact that she had been taken in by a Jedi teacher and to wear Jedi robes was enough to significantly boost her confidence. At last, she arrived at what seemed to her to be a courtyard. She looked around for a few seconds and spotted the black hair of her new teacher. With a great deal more enthusiasm, she came up to Dahar and said, "I am here, sir."
  3. It didn't matter if she was finished eating or not, she would leave if he told her to. She could be starving and wouldn't miss this opportunity. It was what she had been dreaming for half her life, and what her parents sacrificed so much to get for her. "Of course," she replied quickly. She wiped her mouth with a napkin and took one last sip of the orangish juice and got up from the table to join him. As they walked through the Temple, Adenna tried her hardest to start learning the layout. It was to little avail. She was just not used to such large buildings and was quickly lost. "A question, if I may, sir," she asked hesitantly, "will I get Jedi robes?" Her own clothing was well worn, even if it was the best she could bring from home. She didn't exactly have a large wardrobe and what she did have was "lost" on the transport here. She had so long wanted to wear Jedi robes: a sign that the wearer was someone important and had respect.
  4. Adenna nearly choked on her food when Dahar offered to train her. She didn't in her wildest fantasies imagine that she would receive an offer to train so quickly. She had expected rigorous tests, harsh exercises, and an intimidating board of inquiry before the Jedi accepted you. A thousand questions came into her head, but she didn't dare ask them. She didn't want to do anything to change this Jedi's mind about helping her and fulfilling her dream. It wasn't as she imagined it, either. She had expected some formal ceremony or event where candidates were told en masse whether they passed or failed. She didn't even consider that she could be accepted over a meal in the mess hall. She used the time that it took to force the bite she nearly choked on down to calm herself. Even then, when she spoke, her voice was hoarse, from both the food and her shock, "I would very much like to be trained and taught as a Jedi. Can you do that? What about the tests and the questioning?"
  5. Mess Hall Adenna stared in wonder as Dahar lifted a small droid and made it hover above the table between them. She had heard of stories of Jedi doing things like that, but she had never seen them firsthand. He asked her to take a glass from his hand, and she panicked for a moment before calming herself. He had said that if she couldn't do it, it wasn't necessarily that she failed. She honestly didn't know what to do. The way he described the Force made little sense to her. How could one who can hear things force it to do what you want? Adenna could listen to someone else speak for days on end, but she could never make them do what she wanted them to do just by listening to them. To do so was just as confusing as trying to make something move by thinking at it. Despite her hesitation, she dared not disobey this Jedi. If she did, then he may grow angry with her or simply reject her for training. Still not knowing what to do, she focused and concentrated as hard as she could. She desperately wanted to make the glass move, but as hard as she tried, nothing worked. She didn't want to give up, but after a minute, she felt that she was being foolish. A small amount of color crept into her cheeks in embarrassment as she admitted failure. "I can't do anything." She looked down at her not quite empty plate, and said quietly. "I don't see things before they happen, but when you mentioned hearing the Force's whispers, that sounded familiar. Sometimes I can hear this sort of murmuring in the back of my mind, like someone trying to talk without being overheard. "When I grow really angry or scared, I can give people a headache, but nothing more. I used to get really frightened when it happened because it made many of my friends not want to be near me any more. I haven't ever been able to move things with my mind like the stories say." She took a few more bites of her food without even caring that whatever was served hot was getting cold and whatever was served cold was getting warm. After a few moments, she did add another thing, "Well, there was one time when I thought I was being hunted that I panicked. I was trying to get into a friend's house who lived in a dangerous part of town. I thought someone was following me and was getting really scared. When I got to their house, they weren't answering the door. A part of it was made of glass and I knew that if I could break it, I would be able to get in. "I hit it a few times but it was thick and I couldn't do anything to it. I heard something down the street and saw a shadow that looked like someone and my mind went crazy. Then, without me even touching it, the glass in the door cracked and chipped. I was able to break the rest of it and got into safety, even though I had to pay for another piece of glass. "I didn't know what happened and didn't care, but the doctors there said that I had something in my blood that would get me a free ticket off Thalassia and into a life with the Jedi. I never saw any free tickets, but after a few years of work, my family and I did manage to scrape enough money together to send me here."
  6. Adenna was a little uncomfortable with this stranger asking questions, but she figured that was how Jedi were. If they were all Jedi, they were all like one big family and therefore could trust each other and talk about things. She seemed to get a little calmer as he sat there and nothing bad happened, so she felt somewhat comfortable with talking to him. He seemed to be a moderately decent being, though she didn't know him at all. If he was a Jedi, then he must be a good person because all Jedi were good people. They were not slavers or criminals or even the random spacer looking to force some company from an unsuspecting woman. He mentioned something about another planet, or another Temple. She didn't know much about what it was as astrology wasn't one of the things she studied. She didn't know what he meant by something big coming. Perhaps he was talking about an upcoming celebration or maybe an expected slaver or pirate raid on the planet. That could explain the large number of troops in the city. Maybe they were planning on defending this planet from slavers. It made sense to her, after all, if her tiny homeplanet could be threatened by a few bands of slavers, she couldn't imagine the size of a slaver army that would be needed to threaten such a world as this. It could need a lot more than the constables and a few farmers with blasters to try to protect this planet. As he finished speaking, a different thought entered her mind. What if he was more than just a random kind Jedi, but was actually part of some test, she didn't want to get on his bad side too quickly. She chided herself for not seeing it earlier. These Jedi were far too cunning to just come out and interrogate newcomers. There would be too many who may try to lie their way through the system to get the luxury of living as a Jedi, so they would need something more subtle to probe people. This was a perfect ploy: greet them warmly, give them quarters, let them have good tasting free food, then have a charming and polite young man ask to join them so he could get some information out of her. She put down her fork and tried to remember her more civilized manners. "I am not here on any Jedi business," she said quietly. "I am from. . ." she hesitated, not wanting to give too much information away. "I am from the Outer Rim." She didn't want to let her poor background jade his perception of her. There were a few decent places in the Outer Rim, so perhaps he would think she was from one of those planets. As she sat there, she kept feeling more calm and relaxing. She didn't know what it was, but she usually felt this way only back in her family's little hovel surrounded by her siblings and parents. If this man was really part of a test, then she may not have another chance to plea her case. "I have come because people have told me that I am special, that I can touch the Force. For years now, I have been trying to get enough money to come to a Jedi Temple and see if I am really able to use the Force and become a Jedi. If I can't, then I will beg them to let me work here doing whatever menial task Jedi don't want to do. I don't have enough money to get back home; anything is better than being on the streets. Besides, there isn't much left for me back home, either."
  7. Adenna was so engrossed in her meal that she did not notice someone coming up to her lonely table. She looked up at him after he asked to join her and saw that he was wearing Jedi robes. She hesitated a few moments as she considered whether to try to make a run for it or stick it out. On Thalassia, when a man approached a woman while she was alone, it could spell trouble as he could be a slaver or simply someone wanting to take advantage of her. More than one woman who had accepted a drink or the temporary company of a man ended up desolate and abused in a dark alley. After the initial urge to reject the offer, she remembered where she was. She was in the Jedi Temple, possibly the safest place in the Galaxy where she was surrounded by Jedi who would surely step in to stop a woman from being harmed. Plus, this man seemed to be a Jedi himself, so surely he was not meaning her any harm. "Yes, you may," she said meekly. "I am Adenna," she added between bites. She had finished over half of her plate and was just now beginning to feel the edge being taken off her hunger. It was a comforting thought to know that there was a near unlimited amount of food waiting for her should she be hungry. The chances for her to be completely full were rare back at home.
  8. Outside the Temple As the others spoke among themselves, Adenna felt an odd murmuring somewhere in the back of her head. It was almost like a buzzing sensation, but one she had vague memories of dreaming about. She couldn't make out anything, but for some reason, she did feel calmer. Her unease quieted a little and she felt more confident. She was still wary about the tall headed alien, but her fears were abated slightly. To her slight relief, he left and did not follow them into the Temple itself. Each step toward the grandiose gates felt more like a dream. When she finally entered the Temple itself and saw its halls and the scattered individuals going about their business, she could hardly believe she was here. Her parents would hardly believe that she had made it into the Temple. Even if she wasn't quite sure she would be accepted as a Padawan, she was within the Temple and that was more than most back on Thalassia would have ever thought she would achieve. Guest Quarters Jedi Kitt did not remain with them for long, he had other things to attend to. Instead, another young individual escorted Adenna and Emily to the guest quarters. Adenna couldn't tell if their escort was a Jedi or not, but she didn't care. All she cared about was that she was in the Temple and on her path to being a Jedi. She bade Emily goodbye for the moment and went into the small quarters she was directed to. Even though they were small and not extremely elegant, they were more than she had ever had. Even at home, she shared a room slightly smaller than this with her sister. To have her own room, even temporarily was exhilarating to her. She could hardly contain her relief when she was left alone and able to slowly explore the room. She didn't have anything but the clothes an her back and the 112 credits in an inner pocket. That didn't mean much to her right now because it seemed that the refresher was stocked with the necessities. Though she didn't have any clean clothes to change into, she didn't care. Within a quarter hour, she had taken a shower and cleaned herself up as best as possible. It was a relief to have a normal shower, the transport she had taken to get to Gala had only a small drizzle and it wasn't exactly safe to stick around for long. She would try to clean out her clothes later, but for now, she was famished. Assuming that the all knowing Jedi would easily be able to find her when they had some task for her, Adenna cautiously left her room and wondered where to go for food. She wandered the halls for a few minutes until she found someone who seemed to know what they were doing. After asking directions, she headed toward where the woman pointed. After asking directions twice more, she made it to a large room where food was being served. Mess Hall Much to her delight, the food was free. She couldn't imagine a more heavenly place to live than this where even the guest quarters were clean and well maintained, the halls were beautiful and bright, and the food was free. She loaded her plate with whatever looked good and only stopped when there was no more she could fit on it. With a cup full of some reddish-orange liquid and a full plate of food, she settled down in an unoccupied table away from everyone else. It wasn't very crowded here, but she supposed it wasn't meal time or it would be. She barely sat down before she started eating as quickly as possible. The food was amazing, far better than most of what she ate at home. Only a few special times in her life had she been able to eat better than this. She had to be careful to pace herself with the food because she didn't want to get sick.
  9. Despite her concern about getting into the Temple, Adenna did notice that a strange, cone headed alien was gazing at her intently. It greatly disconcerted her, despite the quick smile that may have been friendly. She was already uncomfortable, but with this strange being staring at her, it only made it worse. The Jedi did welcome them to stay within the Temple and even mentioned that there would be quarters for them. That struck her as odd. This Jedi apparently was sufficiently important and powerful enough to be able to not just sense that someone had a connection to the Force, but was able to immediately decide to give them quarters within the Temple. She would have to remember this man's face in case she ever needed something. She had never considered that this is how the Jedi would be made. She and her parents had always thought that entrance into the Jedi would be a difficult thing full of tests, examinations, and good fortune. The fortune part seemed to be true, but the others weren't. Not that she minded, Adenna was nervous enough that her sheltered life would make the Jedi reject her as too much work. It wasn't like she was going to argue with the Jedi. If they were going to let her get into the Temple, she would gladly take that offer. At the least, it would give her a chance to rest for a little while and take a shower. They might even offer food in the Temple. If not, she would have to spend some of her precious credits to eat because she was nearly faint with hunger.
  10. Emily and the Jedi finished their brief conversation and the girl turned back to her. Adenna wasn't as apprehensive about answering her now that she realized that she had the ability to use the Force as well. That piece of information suddenly turned her presence in her life from a potential threat to something that made sense, especially if some Force users could sense each other. Earlier, having some random person walk up to her and discern her reason was very disconcerting, but now it wasn't so much so. "Yes, I think I have the ability to become a Jedi," Adenna said softly. Her eyes darted back and forth between Emily and Kitt, whom she knew to be a Jedi. This could be a moment of truth for her. If the Jedi rejected her here and now, she would beg them to at least allow her to work somewhere in the Temple just so she could have a place to live. She would do nearly anything at this point because it was better than going back to the streets with all the soldiers and the other population. A woman like her didn't tend to last long on the streets. It would be far better to be a practical slave to the Jedi than to face what waited her on the streets.
  11. It was as though Emily was a magnet for others. Seemingly within moments of her approaching Adenna, more people seemed to be drawn in. She might have attempted to fade into the background but for the fact that the human who introduced himself as Kitt Fitt appeared to be an actual Jedi. Perhaps this was her chance, but she didn't have the courage to say anything. Emily and Fitt had a short conversation about Emily's uncle, but there was no place for her to say anything. She remained silent as more individuals joined them. It was odd that a Jedi managed to pick the two of them out of the crowd outside the Temple. It was clear that he wasn't just greeting everyone, but had specifically approached them. Maybe that was due to the Force. It could be that her dreams of a Jedi just magically recognizing her were not so far from reality. She determined that she would follow this Jedi until she was stopped. Now that there was one of the Order near her, she wasn't going to let them get away without at least trying to talk to them.
  12. Outside the Jedi Temple Adenna was startled when a young woman approached her and introduced herself as Emily. Emily didn't look like any Jedi, at least, she didn't seem to be wearing any Jedi robes and wasn't in a New Republic uniform, but she was right. Adenna wasn't sure how much to trust this random stranger. On Thalassia, you didn't just trust random strangers or you could end up inside a slaver's cell or facedown in a dark alley. But that the woman recognized her desire to get into the Temple counted for something. There was a chunk of her that whispered that this was a chance for her to get into the Temple itself. This woman seemed much more aware of what was going on, much more used to the hustle and bustle of the mainstream Galaxy. Perhaps this was an opportunity to get inside and see an actual Jedi. "I would like to get into the Temple," Adenna replied hesitantly. She wouldn't tell everything to this stranger just yet, not until she knew more. "Do you work for the Jedi?"
  13. It took several hours on foot to get from the public docking bays where her cheap immigrant's ticket had dumped her to the grandiose Jedi Temple. During that time, Adenna took in the hustle and bustle she had never seen before. There were many people coming to this planet. A lot of soldiers and immigrants were flooding to this planet, but she didn't know why. She had seen the lines at the spaceport and saw the large number of troops in the streets. This must be how they kept the slavers at bay. It almost terrified her to think that the only way to keep slavers from roaming the streets was to fill them with armed soldiers. Maybe these men and women were good beings, but it was hard to tell. She knew enough to realize that they were not Jedi and if her memory was right, the small emblem on their sleeves indicated they were part of the New Republic, but that name didn't mean much to her beyond a distant memory. She struggled through the crowds milling around the Temple on various bits of business. She didn't know what to do and doubted that they would let a poor immigrant in well worn clothes with nothing but the most basic of identification through the main gates to talk to an actual Jedi. They were important people, and while it had been her goal for years to get here, she didn't know what to do now that she was here. So she just waited. She milled around waiting to see the legendary brown robes of a Jedi in the crowd. Part of her had hoped that the omniscience of the Jedi would pick her out and take her in. She had dreamed about this for so long, the moment had built up into a fairy tale like experience where she walked through the gates of the temple into the welcoming arms of her new brothers and sisters. She knew that was foolish, but childhood dreams died hard. Now, facing the growing feeling that she may not even be noticed by the Jedi, much less accepted into their ranks, was beginning to set in. She was becoming more distressed as the hours ticked by and people continued to mill about. She grew hungry, but didn't dare delve into her life savings of 112 credits to buy a meal at this point. If she didn't find some way to get into the Temple and get accepted as a Jedi candidate, she didn't know what she would do. Perhaps she would throw herself at the feet of the nearest Jedi and beg to be allowed to clean the Temple refreshers in exchange for some scraps of food and a chance to sleep somewhere indoors. She couldn't get home, and she didn't dare try to live on the streets in this strange land. At least as a servant of the Jedi, she knew that they wouldn't abuse her ignorance. She didn't have the courage to walk up to the guards or try to enter the Temple on her own. Fear that they would simply laugh at her and reject her from the grounds overrode what tiny bit of courage remained in her. She knew she had only one chance at becoming Jedi. The fear of failure rooted her in place and held her back from going forward.

Due to the obscurity of the planet, it was mostly untouched in the wars of the Galaxy. That didn't mean it was a peaceful place as there was plenty of slavery and criminal abuse on the planet. The Thalassian Slavers often raided the local population between their trips around the Galaxy and inspired fear among the populace. Due to the lack of Jedi presence, Adenna was never discovered by their recruiters so her Force potential remained unknown to them. She has known she had the ability to touch the Force for some time, but her family was too poor to get off planet. She worked odd jobs for several years in order to scrape enough money to get to a Jedi Temple. She was able to obtain a single ticket to Gala, but her family was unable to come. She bid goodbye to her family and former life and boarded the transport with only the clothes on her back and a hundred and twelve credits. Upon landing at the Temple, she was able to gain entrance and found a master, Dahar Raikanda. Over the next few months, she developed her skills with the Force and knowledge of the outside Galaxy from studying at the library. When the call came out for Jedi volunteers to join in battle around an abandoned Death Star, she decided to go. Despite having little combat experience or skills, she went with the boarding party led by Master Kirlocca. There, she was severely wounded and was evacuated back to Gala to heal. With the battle over and peace talks underway, Adenna went with the other Jedi at the Gala Temple to Tython. After reuniting with her master, she continued to develop her Force skills while constructing her own lightsaber. After some time, she completed her Padawan training and went through the Trials under Kirlocca. Upon completing them, the Wookiee knighted her. Her first assignment was to deal with the problem of slavery specifically on Thalassia but also in the Galaxy in general. The Jedi Knight Fynn Relmis was to take her to Coruscant so that she may rally support from the Galactic Alliance. Before leaving, she encountered a young girl, Sandy Sarna. She had compassion on the girl and choose to take her as a Padawan even though her mission would be dangerous. The mission to liberate her home planet was a success, but it came at a cost for her Padawan who was brutally raped and beaten during the battle. She assisted in the attack and destruction of the Sith Temple on Coruscant, along side with several other Jedi and a sizable portion of CoreSec. During the siege, she was challenged by Jidai Geki to a personal duel. She lost the duel, but instead of killing her, the deranged Sith bit off her tongue and infected her with the nanites that flooded his system. She managed to recover, but was forever changed as her bloodstream flowed with nanites she re-purposed to aid in healing others. She failed in an attempt to cure Geki's madness leaving her psychically injured and developing a more serious outlook about life. In order to fully recover, she spent years on her homeplanet of Thalassia assisting in the formation of a coalition government of people freed by the earlier Jedi and Galactic Alliance actions. During this time, she learned how to utilize anti-terrorism and anti-piracy units and spent months leading a frequently brutal campaign against the surviving slavers and raiders in the system. Even as she did this, the nanites that infected her slowly began to entice and seduce her to the dark insanity that plagued Jidai Geki. After the last active slavers in the system were brutally quelled, Adenna found herself with little to do except engage in the pointless partisan political bickering of the coalition government. Frustrated at the lack of productive action, she left the system and returned to the Jedi Order. Upon returning to the Order, Adenna was dismayed to find that the Galaxy was on the verge of a new massive conflict and the Jedi Order was paralyzed by ineffectual or indecisive leadership. Striking out with the recently redeemed Tobias Vos and a recently reunited Sandy Sarna, she did what she could to oppose the evil she saw rising even as the Jedi remained passive and pacifistic. During this time, she helped further mentor the Tobias away from the Sith teachings he grew up even while battling the continued side effects of the nanite poisoning. She also resumed Sandy's training, though Tobias contributed greatly to the Padawan's education. The Galaxy began to fall into war as the Imperial Remnant and the Sith Order went to war, quickly dragging the Jedi and the Galactic Alliance with them. The opening moves of the war didn't turn out well for the Jedi or the Galactic Alliance which suffered defeat after defeat. With the rising Darkness in the Galaxy, Adenna found herself struggling harder against the nanites and the encroaching madness they posed. Even Tobias Vos, her lover, was able to help only minimally. Though she was offered a place within the Imperial Knights, Adenna's distrust of the old Empire coupled with her remaining loyalty to the Jedi Order kept her from accepting. Despite her loyalty, the Jedi's leadership was not fond of the aggressive position she and Tobias espoused, so they were effectively outcasts for several months and operated on their own. She, along with Tobias, were part of the Imperial Remnant's liberation of Kashyyyk as official envoys of the Jedi. While looking for lightsaber crystals on Ilum for several Padawans, Adenna was able to use the light side power flowing through those sacred caverns to help her overcome the darkness and insanity of the nanites for good and regain her former self. The difficulties within the war and the collapse of both the Imperial Remnant and loss of Coruscant left the allies in an untenable position. The Grandmaster Darex Travelian, disillusioned with his loss on Coruscant, left the Jedi Order into self imposed exile. Despite her relative youth and position as an outcast, Adenna was seen as the only viable candidate who wasn't burned out, deemed to radical, or inexperienced. She was made the Grandmaster on Borleias during an emergency Conclave. Though she was reluctant to take the position, she realized that the Jedi Order needed a leader who was willing to fight against the Sith Empire. She had little time to rest before action was needed. The captured Empress Raven had been located on Dark Sun Station under the captivity of Black Sun. A quickly assembled fleet discovered that there was a sizable Black Sun force there that would be difficult to overcome. Seeing an opportunity to deal a devastating blow against the criminal organization, she summoned the rest of the Jedi's forces as well as remnants of the Galactic Alliance and Imperial Remnant to assist in destroying Black Sun. Unfortunately for them, the delay in summoning reinforcements also allowed the Sith Emperor Exodus to gather his own dark forces and ambush the allies. The resulting battle did see the Empress freed and dealt a horrible blow to Black Sun, but it also saw heavy losses among the Allies. After Dark Sun Station, the various allies came to a reckoning with their situation and realized they could not operate separately. The Galactic Alliance and the Imperial Remnant formed a new Rebel Alliance with extremely close support from the Jedi Order which gave up any pretense of governing planets in exchange for access to military resources. Adenna went on a scouting mission to see what was becoming of Coruscant after the utter devastation and Sith occupation. There, she and her team encountered the fallen Imperial Knight's Master Kyrie Eleison. Though they were able to extract her, Kyrie remained in a coma. Seeing the destruction and despair on Coruscant, Adenna hardened herself for the fight ahead as she prepared the Jedi Order for all out war. Scouting Coruscant: Dropped off and retrieved the strike team led by Grandmaster Alluyen that scouted Coruscant during the Sith Invasion of the planet. Description: The Justice's Mandate was a supplemental ship brought into the Jedi Order's service after the fall of Coruscant at a time when the Jedi needed more front line combat oriented ships to add to their fleet. The ship fought well in the Battle of Dark Sun Station where it took light damage but helped push back the Black Sun's fleet and rescue the trapped flotilla of Allied ships under heavy fire from both the Black Sun and Sith fleets. It now serves as the Grandmaster's flagship. Defensive Escort: Suppressing Fire 4 frigates, 4 corvettes Experience: Green, 1XP Composition: Nebulon B frigate Nebulon B frigate Lancer frigate MC-30 frigate Raider II corvette Raider II corvette Hammerhead Torpedo corvette CR90 corvette Tours of Duty: Description: Gathered from the various and assorted volunteers who joined the Jedi Order during the rule of the Galactic Alliance. Originally built to be operated as a peacekeeping and relief force, the entire group was refitted with more traditional weapons after the Battle of Dark Sun Station when it was clear the Galaxy would be needing warriors of the Light to oppose the Sith influence. All of the crew are volunteers and most were from the Galactic Alliance or various planetary defense forces who left to join the Jedi cause. Asset Denial Force: Surgical Strike 1 cruiser, 2 frigates, 2 corvettes Experience: Green, 1XP Composition: MC40A Light Cruiser Shocking Surprise Nebulon B frigate Assault Frigate Mk II Vigil class corvette Marauder corvette Tours of Duty: Description: Constructed after the start of the war, the Shocking Surprise was focused on disabling her opponents through intensive ion cannon barrages. The cruiser is supported by a small group of older ships from the pre-War era that have been crewed by volunteers and other survivors of the Sith invasions. These ships, while older, have been kept up well and would serve as a good escort, on paper. This task force, like many in the Jedi forces, are better suited for quick, hit and run battles instead of harsh, front line combat.
