  1. OOC: we have agreed OOC that our Posts Before cover a good amount of information and therefore stand as posted with the following exceptions on my account... BTW: the door was untraceable, so how you found the entrance I don't know, but its fine by mem, I can roll with it. Thanx again for not invoking the exact three day rule (and I never said the comm jammer failed, so not a big deal, but try and keep it to my control, iight?) IC: Raden swore under his breath. How had they found the entrance and penetrated this far into his defenses. These men were nothing short of Gods to be able to come this close and still have most of their limbs intact. Why the switches hadn't been pulled to seal off each room, lower the autoturrets and defenses, and flood each room with chemtrox gas, he knew not. It didn't really matter, now that they had managed to come all the way across the house, down to the basement floor, through a minefield and all the way to their second door, on the quick information of a computer termainal, that Raden was certain should have blown up in the fire, if the heat could melt the blast doors, something that was known only capapble of a Jedi Weapon. "Smart, fast, incredibly resilient, and enduring, lots of enduring." He muttered. "If we die in this attempt, or especially if they don't, I'd be hard pressed to find a stronger group of men. I'd be willing to fight alongside these boys any day, should they live. Final examination, boys, and you had better score a hundred..." Raden pulled a quick lever and sealed the two layers of doors there, thick heavy blast doors, PROVEN, this time, to be only penetrable of a Lightsaber or something of that particular heat range: Nothing the explosion could cause to melt or malfunction. No other lightsabers were in the house, except down here, where all of the weapons of old were kept. Raden punched another button activating the minefield. He had terminalized it as a minefield, because, it was, indeed a minefield, but so much more than that. Flamethrowers instantly dislodged themselves from the wall. the sandy bottom along the hallway prevented any direct sight of the mines themselves. Spikes descended menacingly from the cieling and floor, ready to be dislodged at any time. It would take the best slicers almost an hours time to crack the code of their retinal scan door. "Time is something they don't have on their side too," Cracked Raden to Jaden as he pulled that age old switch: the one to set off the autoturrets and Slugthrower mix. the two turrets descended from the the ceiling on both sides of the hallway. Crosa was stranded on the far side of the minefield, and he should have no idea that it had been rearmed, taken that his friend had just walked across relatively unharmed. "That should hold them until you can be prepared...(Previous post picks up here) Its been Nice knowing you bro, Quick give me some DNA so I can clone you if I need to”¦. That's good. Ok I'm going as of now. I'm taking Kylam, as if she gets captured They have a bargaining chip. Good luck and fight hard.”
  2. Its been Nice knowing you bro, Quick give me some DNA so I can clone you if I need to”¦. That's good. Ok I'm going as of now. I'm taking Kylam, as if she gets captured They have a bargaining chip. Good luck and fight hard.”
  3. "Hey Jaden" said Raden as quietly as he could, "I have to get out of here, we're no use together if we die together. I've heard Black Sun can be pretty creul to their enemies. Can I borrow a way out or something?" He looked at Jaden with as much sorrow as he could. "I'll also need to borrow some armor, there is something that I have to take care of. and Pack it with some extra weapons too, we'll need all the help we can get." Raden turned away fro his brother after collecting the necessary materials. He started out when....
  4. The unexpected voice of Raden Kal-Koran arose from the Doorway. "I'm sorry, but the Kal-Koran family is not available right now. Please leave a message at the front door and when we return we will get back to you. Please do not enter this house as it could be the last one you enter with your own limbs. Thank you and have a nice day." It was an automatic greeting for anyone who would try to enter their house. Primed as a normal defense mechanism, the Idea was to portray innocence and non-existance within the house, yet at the same time keep out all would-be robbers. Raden had primed this early on without notifying anyone. The EMP had messed up any of their attackers weapons that ran off of electrical charges. "If this doesn't work, we could be in for a fight." Said Raden. "I need to know when these people are going to get here to give us the materials for our stuff. Unfortunately I have a better Idea....." He piggybacked a typed, uninterceptable comm to their ships on Ryloth. Both descended far away from the house, out of sight of the two hunters. They were ready to be called at any time for assistance in the enevitable battle should the hunters not back away. Little did they know that the entire thing was being watched via vidcams in the doorbell region "Chemtrox the first room but only a little. It should be enough for the detpack that they've placed on our front door. It's colorless, odorless, and little to no scanners can trace it. Flood it." And he pulled the switch, mixing air with chemtrox; A sure mishap of the men now hunting them would be to try to blow anything through their front door.
  5. OOC: In the Apologies of My family thread in the WBS forum, I have heard it stated that many things I have done have irked multiple people. For full details, see the thread itself. However, I will say that what is done is done, but nothing else incredibly elaborate will be added. Some of the stuff posted by myself, however eccentric, is cannonical by Mando terms. Nothing else weird will pop up, so rest easy folks... Here goes nothing BTW Kylam is on Vaca for another day or two so I have to get her out of trouble. Sorry. IC: The comm blared over his head in a special comm device that was one way: It could receive incoming comms, but it was incapable of transmitting sound. Raden turned off his Comm and told his brother to do the same. He quickly obliged. Now they could talk without the comm itself being intercepted "Say nothing." he told his brother as he noticed he was reaching for the comm switch. "The bounty is wanted alive, however he wants this thing to appear. Don't act like we are home and everything will be fine. No sensors could possibly read our life signatures or heat sigs. We'll act like these are standard measures that protect our household on a daily basis." Raden knew the door was sensorproof and even if they did bombard them, the room was pressurized with three months rations and vital necessities for four men: they would have to come in to take them out in short. Raden threw his hands up in the air and decided something. "Change. There is no sense in us using the Great men's armor if we don't want to impress anyone. It'll just get scratched up. Go get Dad's from the shelf. I'll get our other grandfather's from our maternal side. He made some in his day, for the wedding." Both men acted on this piece of advice and both emerged from their corners changed into their parents' armor. "Virtually the same stuff, but not exactly. Fit it with a dartcaster from the shelf and maybe a vibro-bayonette." Both did as suggested. "Fierfek. I just realized something..." and his voice trailed off. "Kylam doesn't know anything about this, and so we have to warn her. Wait here, I'll go. Gas me if you need to, clone's work just as well. Fight hard, brother." And he went upstairs. Raden went into the hallway and got her to get dressed in her grandmother's armor. He motioned for prolonged silence and got her back downstairs and into the safehouse, he was sure, before the would-be attacker's sensors got back online. ”œTurn off your comm.”
  6. "Set up the arial perimeter" He said to his brother. "And put me on with Kylam." Then he turned to admire his household. Approximately 40 rooms were in the building, Three stories with a basement. He estimated the total area to be approximately 800 square meters in size, a genuine mansion. There were very few windows as Boba himself had very much liked his artificial lighting. Ever Paranoid, Boba had made most of his walls out of Permacrete layers, approximatly twelve half inch thick ones, with 1/8th inch thick durasteel reinforcements. There were many trophies within the house and Nearly anything you could want for weaponry, exotic and local. The Rooms were Beautiful, while the interior was thick and coarse, the exterior look of the walls were gorgeous, with inlays of exotic metals and trophies of hunts themselves. There were heads mounted in the atrium of exotic beasts, as well as some of the more infamous hunts: Jedi. Come to mention it, Boba kept those lightsaber's didn't he? As well as a grand library concerning species and their habits, as well as the force users and their little religion. Boba had connections. It was as simple as that. Raden got out of his daydream though and went over to a switch and pulled it. Instantaneously, an invisible shield that protected from all types of beam, laser, and concussion weapons was initiated and an EMP blast that shut down all things in the blast radius that used inorganic fuel sources. Raden started to think: anything that went off in this house could not only be extinguished, but likely explode at the flick of a button. Chemtrox was highly explosive and easily placed into the area. Raden noticed that the metal was entirely uninfluenced by the force as he tried to move it himself. "But then again, I've only rarely felt it. HE locked all of these buttons in place to make sure that they wouldn't be changed: they required a retinal scan for a change. Raden then turned around and looked at the viewscreen expecting Kylam's face there.
  7. ”œGet that Chemtrox up and running, we don't want any”¦”œguests”
  8. Raden followed suit silently behind him, hoping that they wouldn't be too late
  9. I suggest that we go down to the Peti'ke'gyce and alert the med droid to tell us when Kylam gets up. We'll go from there.
  10. The Al'verde's himself: Jaster Mereel. I see you chose our Grandfather's. Interesting choice. Both were Mandalores in their day.
  11. Concurrent here. You took a Mandalorian heirloom though. We cannot afford to lose that. I suggest we build our armor and then search out for our old suits. I have my ways and sources”¦
  12. ”œI see we were thinking similarly. We both need armor if we are going to survive this Bounty placed upon our heads by this Black Sun type.
  13. Raden Kal-Koran posted this message across the galaxy through his death screams, just moments before he was murderously executed on Ryloth: Static...Help, I'm going to die!...My dartcasters and Mandalorian armor are down, My helmet is nearly out of whack. My missle launching Jetpack is gone, as is My sniper rifle, blaster rifles, and cortosis vibroblades......I can't say if I am going to make it. If anyone hears this in time...Please Help Me!!!!
  14. OOC: Its been a while since I posted Cerulean for an edition of his post due to grevious errors in negations to alternative weaponry. He has negated: Damage which is not only possible, but logical when shrapnel blows through your leg and body, Weapons dying on him and still being able to use them, and locations specifically stated in the posts. I therefore reserve the right to negate his entire post and continue with the Deul. Cerulean, you should be DQ'ed but I'll give you another shot. Try not to screw it up. IC: Raden looked at the beam charging up before his eyes. He knew he only had seconds to think of something. Opening the hatches on his jetpack, he threw it and via HUD, flew it directly in the path of the blast. when the shot took, the jetpack burst into flame and exploded, rocking the arena. a piece of shrapnal dug itself into Raden's arm as he recommenced screaming. The blast left jetpack residue all over the body of his opponent. Jaden was so caught up in the pain on his newly skinned body, that all mentality melted away and he barely retained conciousness. He maintained conciousness only long enough to get behind cover, and then he whited out for ten seconds. (2)
  15. OOC: First of all, we were in the stands, hoping that the action was taking place INSIDE the arena. Therefore, your assault should be null and void. However, if it does not entirely offend Mirdala and her newcomer, I will respond. 3 posts each for everyone IC: Raden found himself in the stands. However, the newest addition to his composure was that he was on fire. Those areas that could be felt, now that the nerve endings were completely gone from his form devoid of Mando armor (because if Mando armor can withstand the heat of a Blaster bolt, and Indeed, a lightsaber, it can definitely withstand the heat of a flamethrower.), were trying to register the pain that was on his body. His hands found what they needed though, a flash grenade. the flash grenade was thrown as hard as it could be, despite the immense pain he now felt from his arms and legs. He staggared to his feet and took cover behind some durasteel seats. he returned a barrage of Thermal grenades after cuncussion grenades after frag grenades, lobbing one right after the other at the man's earlier position. He looked up in just enough time to see the last grenade land inside the armorweave and explode, sending shrapnel throughout the body. The manhe could see was lying on the ground from the blasts. Just then he ducked down again. "Sniper's hot." he wanted to say but all that would come out was: "moan, ahh..snipe...AHHHHHHH" ducking down, he shed his shirt, keeping his armor as a vest of sorts. He made sure he was entirely covered my the seats themselves, tall highbacked chairs of durasteel strong enough to take the blast of a grenade, his jetpack's main feul cell was disabled and all hatches were sealed. He didn't want any fire coming through that armor. He called out to his family, after getting the remnants of the fire from his body. "How badly are you all hit? Can you all hear me? Let's get this guy for hitting a man from behind. This aurutiise is definitely no Mando, he has no honor."
  16. OOC: Last post concerning all of my family's actions. Also I think its a fight now outside once we evac the locker rooms and let Adenn do his thing (you're on your own now, guys ) IC: Jaden and Raden reacted immediately to the shot, that seemed to be so close to them. Both sensed that the fight was coming and were already on edge, so they all had assorted weapons hot, two Blasters for Jaden, two vibroblades for Raden, and a combination for Kylam, her heavy blaster rifles held on her back. They all stuck their helmets on and surveyed the fighting style of Their attacker. "Hey, Mirdala!" said Kylam, "I learned a trick over the years. You know me, Blaster ammo is nothing anyway. You can dual wield a Blaster rifles if you keep a full stream of fire coming. The kick is enough to keep them level." "Yeah," replied Raden, "I think we should definitely stick together.." as the fighting, he noticed, becam pretty up close and personal. "Just like I like it." He thought to himself. Jaden holstered his blasters. "I forgot it was Mando'ade we were fighting. Makes these pretty well useless. But still..." as he extended the gauntlet vibroblades on the front of his gauntlets and got out his vibroblades from his back. "I am not the great grandson of Boba Fett for nothing. We have a way of getting what we want from Kaminoans..." as he checked his gauntlets for ammo. Lets keep it real, including your new guy. Where did you say he was from again?" they checked their ammo and got a little closer to their friend Black and Canderous. Whoever won this was going to be among their Brothers in Arms. They didn't want to miss a punch
  17. Raden looked back at his family while Mirdala still had her helmet on. Could it really be his childhood friend from Concord? As she removed her helmet, he recognized the face and the voice. Ecstatic could not begin to describe the looks on their faces as they saw the kid that they had played with for so many years while visiting their Grandmother's inherited homestead on Concord. Jaden- "Well, its about time you showed up. And I was beginning to think you hadn't heard about the tournament." He went over to talk to her in a more personable fashion. "It's so good to see you again. We have so much to talk about." Raden- "Yeah, I heard rumors that you are in charge of a Cantina now, are those true? It's so great to see you, but don't go easy on us on the tourney, k? Kylam- "Nevermind all of that, How is your life? What's new in your life, and who is this? I don't remember seeing him on Concord." she said motioning to Adenn. Lowering her voice to a whisper of sorts so that only Adenn, Jaden, Raden, and Ca'tra could hear, she said "What do you think of this Faust character? Seems a little suspiscious that he would want to send us all to the same place; one of the reasons we agreed on dispersal was so something like this couldn't happen if things turn violent. We need to find if there is an alterior motive for this tournament than just honor. Overall, The family was utterly elated that the newcomer had brought their childhood friend and they could finally see each other once again.
  18. Raden kept the tone with Black. "Yeah, we're all in, total co-op from us. I like the idea of keeping us untraceable. I may need help modding my ship to keep all the good stuff from getting sold. Some of this stuff is pretty rare, so I need it safeheld for a bit 'til I can get my new ship. Hate to see them go, but you know..." Just then the announcer came on the sound speakers (message of above) "This announcement brings to light some stuff I had planned on mentioning to you all anyway. Win or Lose, I am not taking anyones armor as prize and I ask the same courtesy from all of you. My armor means more than my life to me and I want you all to know that I will die defending this armor. I ask your participation in this agreement." He stood to shake Canderous' hand, alongside his brother and sister and then went over to Black for his. May Kad Ha'rangir Protect you all in this endevour. I want nothing to die in this tourney. Good luck, Aliit Standing in silence, his family stood for a show of goodwill from both men.
  19. Jaden returned Canderous' answer without a show of disappointment. He turned to Raden and their sister and they all knew. It was their fight now. Jaden spoke back to the Mandalore. "Sir, thank you anyway. I realized that if anyone could help me, you could. I pledge my allegience to your grace and I ask to be allowed to humbly compete against you, but not for the position of the Mandalore. My Great Great Grandfather was Jango Fett, My Great was Boba himself, and I am of the Habuur line. I speak for My family that I feel nothing but the greatest honor in meeting your greatness and competing against you for your respect." Raden meanwhile, went over to Black and said so that no-one else could hear: "I have a minor problem concerning a bounty hunter and a dead Black Sun general. We're going to need a safehouse after the tournament until stuff dies down. This is mostly my and Jaden's fight, so I'll need you to keep her safe for me. Nothing is more important than family and Honor, right?"
  20. OOC: My bad, I thought the area was a secure area that I had to breach to reach another person. We maintain this right to post each others actions outside the tourney but agree with an every man for himself ruling that none of us will post for any other of us during the tourney IC: Jaden saw Canderous walk through the doors. "Su cuy'gar, Mandalor" he said. "Udesii aliit," he said as he recognized the Mandalorian he had met on the ship. His family lowered their weapons and followed him, even though he appeared to give no notice. He followed him into wherever he was going, and there they found Black. "Su cuy'gar" Said all of his family as they saw him. Then Jaden went over and asked him where they were and why he wanted them to meet him at his ship. While he waited for an answer, he said in basic. "Good to see you, sir. More than you know. Sir, is there any way you could comm Black Sun and speak on my behalf." Then Jaden recounted his tale, with Raden filling in parts that Jaden couldn't quite describe. "Sir, you have no Idea what Trouble I am in. I need help badly. Please sir, I have done nothing ill against you and actually got into that predicament trying to liberate my brother according to Mando code. I'm sorry for the Inconvenience." There they all waited, While Lamla stood there and tried to soak all of this in. There his family waited
  21. OOC: Dark Devil, Zadremnes Draconis, and Jaden Kal Koran have agreed mutually to allow each other to indefinitely post each others actions as needed and agreed on OOC. IC: Raden told his brother to send his ship to Ryloth once they tracked Black's Ship to Ryloth. They all departed, landing next to Black's ship, armed to the teeth and commed Black. "Hey, we're in, tell us what to do and where you are. Be quick about it, We're going to need to find strength in Numbers. Could have a minor problem on our tales." with that they looked for any way around, and while doing so saw Jaden's ship settle itself neatly beside theirs. they found a building and took commando positions around the door. after slicing the door they checked inside. No one was there. they entered and Jammed the doors manually. There was nothing down the hallway except another door at the end, and Five crates of durasteel at this end of the hallway. All three took sniper postitions behind the crates, Kylam covering their backs and Jaden and Raden looking for the door at the end. There they waited for Black's reply. No alarms were going off, so they figured they were safe for the time being.
  22. A signal went off at the console to alert Raden that his brother was awake and fully fine after his bacta injection. Upon hearing this Raden set the ship on autopilot, changing the destination. He arose quietly, went to the cargo bay, and obtained his brother's armor and clothes. "whenever you're ready, I have a way to regain your honor." and he left the building. He went downstairs to check on his captive. "Still asleep," he thought as he removed the man of any communication devices and switched them off. "Can't have this being recorded." Upon doing this he returned to his cockpit to land pull the ship out of hyperspace and request access to the desired docking bay.
  23. OOC: to keep the RP moving IC: Raden realized he wasn't going to win this battle. Taking what he had learned from his brother and family, He did what he had been taught: do everything you can to cause destruction in the shortest amount of time possible when being attacked. Raden decided it was time to use that favorite of all Mando weapons again: the flamethrower. He torched one man as blaster shots rang out inside the hallway. One man managed to score a hit through the smoke, but impaled the man next to him with his own projectile, the bolt going harmlessly wide. One managed to hit Jaden in the leg, and he could hear the man groan with pain. He torched the remaining men in the room, careful not to hit his brother's armor, picked it up, and threw it in a pile outside on the table. He took the apparent commander, disarmed him, and loaded him onto the same table as Jaden, right beside his brother. As the man was sedated, it worked wonderfully, pushing the two on the table and his brother's armor through the blast doors at the end of the hallway. He ran through the hangar that his ship was in, ran through its loading dock and loaded the ship with the body of his brother, His captive in the cargo hold, restrained, and held captive by an auto- turret. He spotted the body of another half destroyed person, and rather than leave him there, decided to give him medical attention. He sedated him, as the man put up a strong fight, but eventually he succumbed to Raden's poison and passed out. He loaded him onto his ship and decided to give him some medical help. Placing him, unarmed, in an unbreakable medical capsule, he made sure that the machinery would notify him when he became mentally aware. Then placing his brother on a medical capsule he told his droids: ”œSee to this man before the captives. He is family. He is the most important thing to me. See to it that he survives these wounds.”
  24. OOC: Since this "Tak Carron" has no character sheet, he has, by nature not fulfilled all the requirements of a PC and therefore, being no other type of player, is an NPC. Logical argument. Also the interrogation room, unspecified according to the occupants (in reference to Raden) and location, BSA speaks of is different from the one holding Raden Kal-Koran. All units found in the Interrogation room are NPC's as of now and forever, no changing IC: Raden looked at the man, suddenly wondering why there was silence. "May I ask sir, why is there silence outside." Only then did he realize that the sound he had heard continually since his arrival had been assorted weapons discharging. "Sir, Pardon my disobediance, but for my own safety, please allow me to investigate." He burst from his standing position, through the door, not even caring what the man might say. It was his own skin on the line. He automatically used his targeting system, sequencing the greatest threat levels, and found himself looking from across the hallway, at a man carrying mandalorian armor inside another room at the end of the hallway's stretch. Raden tried to ID it as he slammed the door shut. "If he has killed a fellow Mandalorian he has earned his right to die, and lost all others." Raden welded the door shut with his flamethrower and fusion cutter, making sure that no one could enter or exit the room he had just been in. He shot the hidden camera in the rooftop with a dart, breaking the lense and turned around to face a computer terminal. "Let's see where my brother is." he said as he checked it via his helmet. As soon as it asked for a security code, he knew he was in for it. He chose the alternative method that mandalorians tend to do so often: He took out his flamethrower and torched the thing. Luckily the terminal wasn't hooked up to any alarms and no-one was alerted to his presence. He went across the hall and heard the shuffling around, and probe droids whizzing about. "Sounds like I found him." Raden thought as he prepared to save his brother, flush with the doorframe. He rolled in and grabbed his brothers weapons from on the table. "Hello, boys" he said as he shot the general with a snare and poison dart. The men were getting over their shock really quickly and beginning to attack Raden. Raden shoved his brother's table containing his brother and his armor, after he removed the locks from the wheels on the legs of the thing with a quick slam of his foot, out into the hallway. "Now," he said, glancing around the room, "who is in charge, here. They may be the first to die..."
  25. "Sir, I must tell you first off that the Mandalorians are shamed when asked to take off their helmets, which is where my scanner is. If you would be so kind as to show me the way to a workroom, I would gladly recreate one for you." raden waited to see whether the man would let him do this or insist on having him remove his helmet, disgracing him
