  1. Rose remained quiet after the wookie mentioned the pay, little as it was. For Rose, it wasn't really about the type of job she managed to find, but of the pay. She was running low on credits, and it's hard enough as it for a blind twilek in the chaotic galaxy they called home. And not by choice for that matter. If she had it her way, she would continue to stay away from those that chose to be her. A life of solitude should be her right if she so choses to live such a life. But alas, the mystical force behind life seemed to steer her otherwise. Taking yet another sip from her now watered down Corellian Whiskey, she looked into it's near drained container as she too looked upon the wookie with weary. Not because of distrust, but because she had a bad history with one of his kind, a now dead madclaw named Triokkaa. But yet, as she listened to this one speak, she couldn't help but feel a certain calm around him. It could have possibly been the fact that he was a wookie that gave her the certain calmness, but she felt otherwise. There was more to him than what met the eye, especially the slight sway of his hip that that she had come to affiliate force users. Once he had finished talking with the young boy, Rose politely interupted as best she could. "Okay, Captain Teaggar was it?" She said as she rose from her seat, Revan and Sauron standing closely as their gaze shifted from side to side. Casting a smile upon her face as she spoke, giving a slight clue to the Wookie (WJ) that she could see things a bit differently than most humaniods, Rose finished her sentance. "I will join you as well. Though, if you don't mind, i will supply my own transportation." It was nothing personal, Rose wishing to supply her own transportation. She simple liked things better alone. Though she needed the money, she did need the company. A life of semi-solitude was her choice. She thought, that just perhaps, someone like him could understand her decision.
  2. None came, none wished to fight, once they viewed upon the metallic eye that held a certain destruction about it for those who it's sight was set upon. Disappointed, Rose let the viel fall back upon her face as she rejoined her two accompanying HK units over by the bar. Taking another shot from the bottle she had ordered, she turned back once more in time to view her victim's friends carry him off into the night. Remorse came over her for just a moment before she turned back to the bar for another drink. Rose wasn't a cold blooded killer, but after the life she had, she did what she had to do in order to survive. Like many of the beings in the galaxy, she had a chaotic side, a darkside. But like all beings, she also possessed a lightside as well, and even Rose was not without remorse or sorrow. She didn't want to kill, but in a kill or be killed life, she had not other choice. Indeed, it was not a choice for her. A few moments after returning to the bar and finishing half her bottle, Rose noticed a wookie approach the bar. It was a strange thing for a wookie to be in such a place, most notiably without a Master within close proximity. But she recognized him from before, the being she bumped into upon her entrance. She could help but have her interest grow, and without noticing it, had eavesdropped on his coversation with the bartender. The alcohol overtaking her typical withdrawel from social activities, she approached. Not that she was drunk, despite the the strong smell of Correlian whiskey on her breath. But she wasn't feeling any pain either at the moment. As she sat right next to the tall wookie(WJ), she spoke as her veil covered face met his gaze. "So your in need of a crew, eh? How much are we talking about here?"
  3. Noise erupted from behind Rose as she sip on her drink, the sudden disengagement of the safeties on Revan and Sauron's E-11 Blaster Rifles signaling trouble ahead. Rose had been in a few bar fights herself, but this one was not one she wished to indulge in. A stranger in unknown territory must always tred lightly. Taking another sip of her drink, she tried to stay out of the way and let her two droids handle any necessary duties. But life always had a way of turning against one. "Mother....." was all Rose was able to word as an unexpected patron crashed into her and spilt her drink down her robes. Her temper flared as she turned her mechanical eye toward the on-going fight. She had hoped to not be dragged into such a display of idiocity, but today was not such a day. Placing her hands upon Revan and Sauron's metallic chest, she stepped forward into the crowd alone, the two droids stand aside obediantly. Placing her palm upon the floor, and with a quick pivet, her part in the action had begun. As a patron went to react to Rose's intrusion, a quick cartwheel flip positioned both her feet in the right direction and quickly ending his attack. But a friend had saw and she too came at Rose. But Rose was ready for her as well, coming out of the cartwheel and going into a rather graceful roundhouse kick and using the momentum of her longer than average legs. Flying to a rough spin, the young patron met with a hard landing spot upon the floor. And in truth, Rose found herself actually having a bit of fun. Or was, at least until she found her admist blade happy thieves. Completely encircled by five men, three carrying vibroblades and two finding their blasters pretty quickly. Red beams of light began to litter the air around her, giving her very little time to react as she grabbed one of the assailants and used his form for cover. Rushing forward while still using his body as a meatshield, Rose grew close enough to the first shooter to reveal the Blade of Vao, the broadblade cleaving the man from shoulder to abdomen. But Rose still had to think quick on her feet as three still remained including another blaster. Diving behind a turned over table, Rose took a quick breather as she survey her surroundings, taking in all she was able to process in such a limited time. Luckly she was a force sensitive, which gave her a slight advantage. Able to predict her opponents actions a few milliseconds before it actually happens is a great gift indeed. Placing her head on the table's top edge, she lept forward for a final charge. Using the metallic surface of the Blade of Vao, keeping it's broadblade angled to deflect some of the bolts away, she charged forward. Mixing her natural agility and speed with her metallic protector, she came through rather fairly save a few grazed burns as she drove her broadblade through the shooter's heart. But with wounds, she began to slow. And as she drew her blade from his limp body, she was overtaken. Her body hit the floor hard as the biggest brute of the five pinned her to the ground. Revan and Sauron saw this, stepping forward and ready to attack when they noticed Rose's glare toward them. No, she would finish what she started, and without their help. Such was one of Rose's many ways. Turning her gaze back toward the large gentleman above her, she left him with nothing but a smile upon her face as a gust of wind blew up her vail and revealed her most hidden secret...... her eye of judgement. The man stared in disbelief at the cyborg implant her now viewed into, it's red glow unatural. And with a blink of her eye, it was the last thing her saw. For when she opened her eye, a red solid laser beam imploded his head and sent the remaining assailant running. Pushing the limp headless body from atop her, she stood after gathering her trusty broadblade and looked into the now dwindling bar fight. Wiping the blood and cooked brain from upon her face, she wondered who was next.
  4. ((Sorry i'm late. I never got any word on when you guys were starting.)) A soft breeze blew into the Glow Worm Cantina as the metallic door hissed with Rose Vao's entrance. Many of the patrons gazes fell upon the Rutian Twilek as she entered, her eyes hidden under a crimson vail and the rather large sword upon her back drawing most of the attention at first. But her trust HK units soon took over what attention remained ungrasped as the matte black and chromed figuares stepped into the darkened room carring E-11 Blaster rifles. She had been wandering the galaxy for a few months now, the memories of her past distant, yet at the same time, still haunting the young Twilek. Bumping into a rather large wookie(WJ) as she made her way to the bar, her gaze merely shifted upward as she moved past him, never speaking a word. She may have came off rude, but after what recently happened, she could have cared less. Walking up the bar, Revan and Sauron close in step, Rose spoke up to the bartender. "One round of Corellian Whiskey on the rocks." Rose spoke in a harsh tone, the bartender looking at the Twilek rather funny. Still he brought her the drink she ordered, taking the credstick she laid upon the bar. He had never seen a Twilek of this caliber, but he stayed silent as to not cause any unwanted trouble. After all, she appeared to be a wanderer, so maybe after she finished, she would just wander her way on out of there. And she would, once she found work.
